Okay so, let me explain, this is a different and extra chapter. A crossover and everything else. Why? Because I wanted too. This isn't necessarily an official crossover but the characters will play a part in future chapters but aren't true to their original stories. Also, new OC brought you by ALECVOLTURISWIFE, this is just her very brief introduction. PS. I would suggest to stop reading any other chapters after this as it can cause confusion since it hasn't been introduced before. Enjoy. — Ness xx
Chapter 3:
I ended up somewhere in Portland, Oregon. It was about four in the morning when I entered a 24 hour diner not necessarily hungry, but I wanted something to help sustain me while I figured where I go.
Taking a seat a woman, came to me with the menu, "Hi, I'm Ana and I'll be server tonight. Welcome to All Night Cafe, could I start you of with something to drink?"
"Hello, no need for a menu. Could I just get a coffee and a breakfast burrito?" She nodded.
"I'll bring you your coffee in just a moment." I looked around and it was relatively empty, I let myself relax. After everything today I just want to be somewhere safe and far away. I let my mind search the area, nothing uncommon or suspicious going on meaning none was looking for me here or knew I was in Portland.
As I waited, I closed my eyes wondering and searching for EJ mind to see how he was doing. He was asleep and in great distress, I felt myself tearing up again. I sent him waves of calmness and a sense of safety, letting him know I was okay and well. I saw his mind change from the stormy emotions to a calmness, I felt at ease knowing I could communicate with him at such a great distance.
I felt a sudden uneasiness, and snapped my eyes opened. Landing on a fair dark skinned woman of no more than twenty years old, her eyes striking into mine sitting at the far end in a stool at the front counter of the diner. She was wearing a black shirt with forest green jacket on and dark black boot cut jeans. She looked out of character to be in this dinner, as well as myself, but something about her was unsettling and alarming. I started searching the room looking for her mind to see what she was thinking.
What made me stand up straighter was that she wasn't breathing nor had a heartbeat.
"Here you go, your breakfast burrito and a coffee. This is the creamer and the sugar is located at your right hand. Enjoy."
I smiled, "Thank you."
I noticed the woman cocked her head to the side. I began concentrating to find her mind.
"She eats?" I raised my eyebrow at her and take a bite and sip of my coffee and burrito. "What is she? Her sent is overpowering sweet, her heartbeat too fast. Is she from one of the Originals hybrids? Explains the wet dog smell too."
I snapped my head back at her having looked down to fix up my coffee. What? Originals? She seemed to noticed "Is she... Is she reading my thoughts?" I looked away, panicking.
I called over the server. "Can you bill me, and I'll take this to-go. Please and quickly." She nodded and rushed to the cashier while I got out the money to leave. As she came back the women kept thinking out loud, her thoughts being the only thing my mind was focusing on.
"Here's the bill, let me pack this up for you." She get everything up, while I put a hundred, way over the cost the meal.
After my meal was packed, "Thank you, keep the change." Picking up my stuff and walked quickly and away from the diner, aware that the woman was following.
We walked for about a mile. "Lareen," making me stop in my racks, "My name is Lareen." I turned and looked at her cautiously.
"I know and I also know you can manipulate things with your mind, as well as you think I'm a hydrid between a werewolf and a vampire."
"Are you?"
"No, I'm human-vampire." She nodded.
"Where are you headed? You aren't around from this area, this I know because it's my territory." She took an attack stance, leading me to follow raise my hands to show I meant no harm.
"Sorry for trespassing, I didn't know this was anyone's territory. I was just passing through, trying to find somewhere to go." I didn't know if I should add more information but if kept me safe I would do so. "I've left my clan behind for betrayal."
"Run along then. If you would like to somewhere that's vampire friendly and that could help you find whatever you you're looking for, I suggest going to Falls, Virginia and look for the Salvator brothers. I see in your eyes great distress. They'll help with whatever you're running from."
I nodded relieved, she was friendly despite her mind being a mess. "Thank you Lareen Curitin." I smiled and began to walk way.
Behind me she yelled, "I didn't tell you my last name." I turned and laughing.
"You guess right back there, I do read minds."

After entering a gas station asking for directions to an airport, I had gotten a one way ticket to Richmond, Virginia which would leave me close enough to Falls.
I knew I shouldn't trust Lareen but she wasn't lying. I just hope whoever she sent me to were trustworthy.
I had slept through the whole plane ride but woke upon touchdown, hailing a cab now leading me to a new chapter in my life.

It took me two days to find the so said brothers and explain who I was and who lead me to them.
Damon and Stefan Salvator are centuries old and a different breed of vampires, ones who call themselves the Originals. Classic vampires, who can't walk in the sunlight without turning to ash, but have these magic rings that protects them, and when stabbed through the heart they die. They have a coven of their own that involve 2 others like them, a witch, a werewolf and a were-vamp hydrid. Over the course of a 2 weeks I gained their trust and they gained mine. As I got to learn more about them they got to learn more about me.
They helped me train myself to defend with and without my extra powers, which caused confusion to them at first, and learned how to concentrate on multiple things at once. They did more than the Cullens did to help me keep controlled, I realized I was being isolated from everything. I knew I wasn't going back.
Only three months of living with them, I had to move again. I saw a couple and instantly remembered them as Jasper's nomad friends, Peter and Charlotte, who when I looked into their minds recognized me and knew I was being looked for.
I ran and hid calling Stefan for help, it was late Friday night and we were at the same place, a bar were everyone frequents. I didn't understand what Peter or Charlotte were doing in there, they probably caught my sent and came in the bar to investigate. I cursed myself for not being more careful.
Popping out the back door, I hid in a shadowy corner, "Ren?" I looked to see Stefan and sigh in relief. "What's going on?"
I run to his hand and pulling him down the alley, "Come on, they saw you with me and they be out in a minute." I teleported us back to the mansion.
"Who are they?" Stefan ask following me as I run up stairs to pack.
"You two are back early?" Damon coming out of nowhere causing me to throw him a shoe having scared me. I paused to calm down but I wasn't able to achieve it as I saw my parents receiving the call from Peter. "Why are you packing?"
"I need to leave, a family friend found me and it's only a matter of time before they come here." I said as I packed as quickly as I could knowing very well I'll have to leave many things behind.
Elena came in to many things happening for me to concentrate, "What's going on? Why are you packing? Why is she packing?" Looking around for answers.
Falling to my knees I began to sob, my family already knew where I was and were on their way here. "I need to go, I'm sorry, I can't stay my family is coming to look for me and I can't stay. You have to help me."
Elena came to me and hugged me tight while, Stefan packed a smaller bag for me to leave with. "When you come back, your stuff will be here waiting, you'll have a place to stay when you stop by."
I hugged him, "Thank you." Damon came in, I never noticed him leave, but he had some papers in hand.
"I got you a flight to Volteria, Italy." I looked at him confused. "I know that's the last unsafest place to be given your kind rules and your history with them, but they won't find you there and that the last place they'll think of looking for you." He grabbed my bag from his brother, "We have to leave now so you can catch the flight, we'll cover your scent and they won't know you were in this house, but we have to leave now."
"Underneath it all, you aren't a bad person you make yourself and others think you are." Thank you, I though to him and everyone in the house hold. He smirked and left having me follow behind him.
So I left, and I had met and made a new family apart from my own, discovered more about myself than I had in Forks. Going to Italy probably wasn't the best idea but it would work, and maybe I would ask for help from the Volturi.
