Please also NOTE I write Alternate Universe (AU) stories whether they are crossover or not. The AU applies to ALL characters. Thus this will make them OOC to the original Story and I like it that way. So if you plan to comment that Akane is not like that sorry I write her like I like to. This goes for all the characters it makes the story more fun for me to write that way. Got to have some antagonist and some friends :D)
Chapter Ten
At the Japanese compound and in the Amazon village the elders of the tribe took solace in their homes and rooms. The new war has brought back their anger at what they lost fifty years ago. That was not to say they would not do it again but it pained them. These days though it was only when they were in their private quarters did the anger come back as it tried to consume them. This time though all twelve of the Elders stood in front of mirrors they had long since covered up. Today they stared at themselves their faces with large grins.
They were all doing the same thing as if they were one person. They stared into the mirrors and saw the changes but they felt what they saw was as far as the gift from Isis could go. They were now five feet six and half inches their figures were now thirty-two by twenty-two by thirty-four inches. They smiled as they turned from side to side to get a better look at their new body. Their long white hair was no longer white it was back to its original colors though there were still white streaks in it they felt they could live with that. As they looked at their faces, they saw that their eyes were no longer bulging and were once again beautiful. Their faces were once again wrinkle free and beautiful. They smiled as they stared for a long while at the changes. They wondered if anyone noticed they had to have unless it was so gradual they as everyone else did not notice. They felt that was about to change.

In Japan, a man stood in front of a large window of a business at the business district his eyes wide with surprise. His attention was drawn as a fleeting image passed by him from his peripheral vision he turned and for the first time since the gift from Isis he saw the changes. He looked down and saw the changes but he tried to figure out why it happened. He looked back up into the window and smiled it was the gift from Isis and the 'Spring of Honorable Man' but he thought this was not suppose to do this. He was now five feet eight and half inches his muscular build had come back but it was sized more for his new height. His long black hair had returned and had silver streaks running through it. His angular face was taught and wrinkle free as his bulging eyes were now normal in appearance. He smiled and wondered if the elders noticed yet. Happosai then stopped as the evil he felt fifty years before washed over him. He took to the roofs and followed the signature of evil incarnate.

They then bowed their heads and thanked the goddess that returned them to a younger state but the frowns on their faces told them they would give up their beauty again if it were the only way to stop Seth. The changed elders left their homes and headed to the council chambers the villagers watched them in confusion. They stared as the seven elders moved as one to council but they did this on the ground. All the villagers stared, as there was something different though they seemed to have a hard time figuring out what it was. Then a child made it known as a child had in the 'Emperor's New Clothes'.
"=LOOKIE! GRAMMA NOT OLD NO MORE=!" The village turned to see the youngest great great great granddaughter of Thorn as she smiled and tried to run to her gramma.
The elders entered the council chamber they went to the orb and activated it. They waited for a response but none came they frowned as through the magic they sensed the evil of Seth. They now knew the battle was beginning and they needed to move to Japan for the war.
"=Cinnamon send two guards to the gates, when the Musk and Phoenix emissaries arrive bring them here immediately then notify the Amazon generals we may be leaving earlier than expected=." Lotus said as the warrior nodded and left.
Five minutes later Cinnamon re-entered followed by the Musk and Phoenix Librarians. Their faces were in a deep scowl. Once Cinnamon retook her position the elders told them what they believed was happening and why. The two men nodded as they also felt the evil coming from the Isis Orb. They turned and returned to their rulers to get them prepared for the trip to Japan and the upcoming battle.

Akane every so often would think of the five beautiful women she had followed. She wanted to go back but did not have time. Her classes had started and she was still carrying a full load even though she had taken most of the prerequisites at community college. She wanted to go back and see if she could become friends and maybe they could help unlock her skill and improve it. She however did not want to go to Nerima even just inside for fear Nabiki's spies would find her there. As Akane entered her apartment, she put her laptop down by the faux Queen Anne table then put her keys into the candy dish she used for holding her keys.
*RING RING RING* Akane frowned at her phone as she took off her shoes she padded to the phone.
"Moshi Moshi?" Akane said as she waited for a response.
"Akane-Chan? Oh good you are home!" Kasumi's voice came through the phone filled with worry.
"Kasumi, what's wrong?" Akane asked worry filled her voice.
"There is a battle at Furinkan High School! There are Egyptian gods fighting at the school Akane." Kasumi said as her voice became frightened.
"I will get over there to help the fight!" Akane said as she tried to hang up.
"NO AKANE DON'T YOU DARE!?" Kasumi shouted Akane would have ignored it but there was such rage in her voice.
"But Kas...!" Akane started to complain.
"NO Akane you are not a martial artist not on this caliber and don't forget Happosai LOCKED your skills away!" Kasumi's anger rose but there was fright in it as well.
"I forgot that! I will have to get him to release me! I have a right to fight to protect my home too!" Akane said still wanting to fight.
"No Akane you are not skilled enough! The warriors are even more skilled then daddy and Happosai I have never seen such destruction or skill." Kasumi said as Akane heard her crying in her voice.
"KASUMI ARE YOU THERE!" Akane shouted her heart wrenched in fear.
"No Akane I am at home Tofu and I are watching it on the television." Kasumi said as she turned her head as she heard an explosion.
"OH MY!" Kasumi said as she watched the battle.
"Kasumi what is happening!" Akane said as she tried to hear the TV, she could not afford to buy one then she had an idea.
She put down the phone and ran quickly to her front door. She grabbed her laptop then brought it to the office and quickly set it up. As the computer booted she picked up the receiver. Kasumi was still watching the television. Once her laptop was up she searched for the link to access the news online. She smiled as she found it glad she took an elective course in computers. She activated the link and waited. Her eyes grew two times their normal size as the battle came up. She watched the battle seeing that some warriors flew. Her attention was drawn to the four warriors that had wings. She spotted a flash of garnet and focused on it. Her eyes opened in shock. The girl was one of the exotic women she had followed the day she went to get her carpet.
Akane watched she wanted to go fight but she could not. She was sure the trains were not running to Nerima now and she had to get her skills released. Her mouth dropped open as she spotted the boy she had helped when he was lost in Nerima a while back. She watched as he glowed, green that rolled into to various shades of the color. She heard a *thunk* and realized Kasumi dropped the phone.
"Kasumi? Are you there? KASUMI!" Akane called to her sister she heard as someone picked up the phone.
"It is alright Akane. We need to hang up Kasumi wants to call your father and Nabiki." Tofu's voice came over the phone then just as quickly it was gone.
An explosion on the laptop drew her attention as the ground warriors were using chi attacks. She watched fascinated as they attacked the animal-headed enemy. She then caught sight as twelve of the flyers broke from the battle and moved toward the far end of the soccer field. She watched as they made a circle as if surrounding something. They grasped hands and began to glow different colors that moved like rolling fog between them in different shades all but the garnet haired girl she glowed all the colors. She watched as lights moved to the center of the circle and began to coalesce around something. She looked closer as a movement below the twelve caught her eyes. She looked and stared in shock as a saber-tooth tiger protected the twelve warriors. She was watching close when suddenly the picture was gone and she could not get it back.

The Isis Warriors flew into the schoolyard they started for the far goal of the soccor field. They were in their true forms, they had decided a while back to use their alter egos to allow them to move through the streets except for the Phoenix warriors and Dolphin their Phoenix forms were the shapes they took to do battle. The minions of Seth stopped them as they poured from the nexus that resided there. There were about forty but the Isis Warriors knew as soon as he could that he would send more. The warriors had to block this nexus and fast they linked up or tried to but the forty warriors attacked. Those that flew took to the skies after the leaders of earth's salvation. The rest attacked the Amazons that just entered the schoolyard their weapons drawn. An angry saber-tooth tiger had followed in behind them as he lunged for a jackal headed man as he tried to cut off the head of Sapphire. It was the last thing the jackal man ever did.
Kalya fought encased in a black cat aura and used ki claws the roar of the saber-tooth below her told her Mr. Tabbs came with the rest of the Amazons. She and her generals fought a choreographed battle plan. Their telepathy opened to each other for quick changes. They did not interfere with the elders as they directed their warriors. The clash of steel on steel rang out in the schoolyard.
As Kalya and her warriors fought, they brought forth their Isis powers. Meran summoned a windstorm but it seemed only to prevent the advancement of Seth's minions. The fact there was lightning within the window kept the army of Seth occupied. Dolphin summoned water from the school swimming pool and sent it into the wind. As they did on the yacht Hayashi brought down the freezing cold of the void of space and the three of them had encased about ten of Seth's warriors. They gave them no more thought as they moved onto the next group of animal-headed soldiers.
The warriors on the ground began to shiver as the coldness of Hayashi's attack filled the schoolyard. It was increased by the shadows that moved around the fighters. The Amazons did not allow this to distract them they used the shadows to their advantage and came bursting through the shadows to attack their confused opponents. As the Amazons and Mr. Tabbs kept the last fifteen minions of Seth fighting them the Isis Warriors headed to the far end of the field surrounding the goal post they clasped hands and began to feed their Isis powers into the center of their circle.
As their energy disappeared, it began to move along the ley lines. It moved out in all directions as it moved from ley line to ley line as it sought out the tampering Seth had done near this nexus. As their magic found what it sought, it began to break the thread of chaos that Seth left in the ley lines to be able to pull the power into one large Nexus.
They tried to block him from these ley lines again but they did not know how and did not want to cause more harm by experimenting during a battle. They flew back to the fight and helped to defeat the remaining Seth soldiers. When the last of the evil warriors disappeared in a burst of flames, they were swarmed by reporters who had come to the school to find out what was going on. The police had held them in check but once the battle ended they came to them like a swarm of angry bees. They did not get anywhere as Kalya swooped down grabbed Mr. Tabbs then with the combined powers of her and her generals all the Amazons and Isis Warriors rose above the ground and flew off under the sudden thunderstorm.

The Isis Warriors landed in the center of their compound. Sara Hibiki running from warrior to warrior her face full of terror as she checked everyone of them for injuries. Sapphire patted the woman's hand and led everyone into the building for a debriefing. Sara had gone to the kitchen. The female Isis Warriors, Frosta, Pewter, and Meran helped her. They put out teapots on all the tables with cups and plates of sweets. It seemed the elders, the Isis Warriors, their friends and the O'Leary brothers as they were fast growing to be friends with the Druids.
"Ok we know what happened with the battle but what about the nexus?" Sapphire said as she grabbed one of Kalya's brownies from the plate.
"We used our powers to find Seth's link on the ley lines through the nexus." Ryoga started a scowl on his face as he just stared at his teacup.
"We found it but he is doing something different with the ley lines he is now blocking. We did not have time to experiment during a battle." Ric told them though Rouge was not happy the males were interrupting the elders there with them for the longest just took it in stride.
"We will need to go back when the excitement dies down and try to undo what he did." Dolphin said as she poured tea for her husband.
"We just need to be careful we don't want to cause more damage to the ley lines." Meran finished as she leaned into Sage fear on her face because this meant her and Sage's warriors would be here soon as well.
"I think you and the Isis Warriors with Thyme need to go back tonight after dark and see if you can figure out how to break through Seth's manipulations.
"I would like to go with them. Since I have been helping Thyme my knowledge though not yet as extensive it has grown and I might be able to bring a new prospective to it." Saamin said as he stepped forward.
"I guess we should go as well we can also double as guards while they work." Ebon and his brother Sean stepped forward.
"Are you ready you have not been using your magic very long." Sapphire said as she looked at the two Druids.
"No but with Snow Pea's aid I have been concentrating mostly on the ley lines and Nexuses along with my other magic. I can help if they need it and learn if they don't." Ebon told the elder.
"Well Kalya it is up to you and your generals." Rouge said as she looked at her adopted daughter.
"We agree." Kalya said as she looked at the O'Leary brothers and Saamin.
"Alright don't stay to late you don't want to be swamped by reporters in the morning. We will discuss what you found." Mascara told them as they all left for the high school.
"Should we not send guards with them? I mean we are not telepathically linked with them even though we drank the water from the pool." Sapphire said with a frown.
"No it will be fine. We have created other ways to communicate. Don't forget we all have cell phones and Dolphin created an app for them just for our use. Remember, my won't Jasmine be so proud of her and her innate technical skills." Cologne reminded Sapphire as she pulled out her cell phone.
"We will get you one tomorrow Rouge we are only giving them to Kalya and her generals and the elders for right now." Snow Pea said as she showed Rouge what they were talking about.
"Alright that will be fine. Though I would love to see them work." Rouge said with a sad wistful smile.
"I can take you there elder! I would like to help my husband." Rouge turned and smiled her head nodded as her eyes sparkled with excitement
"Ok but you both stay out of the way and don't force your authority over Kalya and her generals. Here are a couple of journals and pens. You both write down everything they are doing or did. The O'Leary brothers can tell you what you missed." Snow Pea said to Pewter and Rouge as she handed them each four journals and pencils.
Pewter put her books in her subspace then picked up Rouge around her waist. And levitated then flew out of the building. The shock on Rouge's face made the rest of the elders laugh. They then all cleaned up after dinner and prepared to close down the building and go to bed. That was until they noticed Sara Hibiki as she sat by the door watching for her son and friends to return.
"Come Hibiki-san it may be a while. Why not stay in Ryoga's room so you will see him when he returns." Sapphire helped the woman to her feet and led her upstairs to the seventh floor where the Isis Warriors liked to stay.

The elders led the frightened but exhausted woman to Ryoga's room. She had been part of the medical team. She could not do much but she helped with bandaging wounds and getting supplies. She ran herself ragged helping the wounded Amazons. She was just glad none were hurt seriously. Sapphire opened the door to Ryoga's room he never locked it none did. She led her to a spare room but she refused she moved to the sofa and sat down to wait. Cologne brought a blanket and pillow from the bedroom encase she fell asleep then they left.
Sara sat there for a few moments and when she felt herself drop off she got to her feet and walked around the apartment. She was not happy there were no windows in the apartments the only windows were at the end of each of the offshoot hallways and some on the first floor. They said it was better protection against Seth and his followers. She opened the door and went out into the hallway and to the window she looked out but saw nothing. Her shoulders slumped and she headed back to her son's rooms. She closed the door and sat back down on the sofa this time however, she fell asleep.

The Isis warriors came down the stairs at the usual time of four o'clock. They were met by the five elders sitting at a buffet table near the map of ley lines. As they moved toward the table Ryoga looked around a bit frantically. He jumped at the lit touch on his arm. He turned to see Frosta beside him with a warm smile and pointed toward the large commercial kitchen. He turned and smiled as his mother was in the kitchen humming happily as she prepared breakfast for the contingent of fighters that have yet come down or were out practicing He started to move toward her when he was stopped by a voice at the table.
"Come warriors tell us what you learned and accomplished last night." He turned to see Snow Pea as she waved them over to the table.
They moved to the table and were joined by Saamin and Thyme as they entered the room from outside. Mousse sat down with his wife his arm around her waist as if he feared she would disappear. Ryoga sat down next to Kalya on her right as Mousse and Pewter were on her left. The elders had begun to notice that generally Kalya's first two generals were always flanking their daughter. They would need to ask about that. What surprised them was Frosta took the seat next to Ryoga and leaned slightly against him. They smiled when he laid, his hand on top of hers.
"We were able to break through the block Seth put in. However, we did not do it right away. When the O'Leary brothers, Pewter, Rouge, and Frosta showed up we took the time to train them to use their ki to find the ley lines. Saamin and Thyme studied the block Seth put there. Then when they got what they needed they were able to help us break through. They were able to learn how to locate the blocks much quicker and how to destroy them without destroying the ley lines. Ebon helped there he said the Druid books supplied by Shen-sensei and Snow Pea were what helped him there." Kalya started as she smiled at Sara as she placed a plate of food in front of her.
"What else have you learned?" Cologne asked as she watched the warriors.
"Well it seems that some of the generals and your warriors are descendants of Druids. Ebon started working with them last night with what Snow Pea had begun to teach him and Sean." Ryoga said, as he looked sideways at Frosta, then his gaze moved to Pewter.
"Which generals have the abilities?" Mascara asked as she watched the looks Ryoga gave the two warriors.
"Well actually we all do but Sage, Ric and Ryoga have the strongest because they are blood descendants. The rest of us can utilize the Druid magic though not as strong. It is enough to tip the scales though." Shen said as he had pulled out his journal and was looking through his notes.
"So since Amazons have magical capabilities we should be training them all in Druid magic?" Sapphire said with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes they won't be able to cast the most powerful of spells but they should be able to use the spells they need to defeat Seth and help protect the ley lines and Nexuses." Ebon said as he entered the room.
"Very good young man how goes your training?" Rouge asked as she waved them over.
"Well we found out that though I am the Druid Priest this generation, Sean is much like the Amazons with Druid ancestry he can use the magic he will be stronger then you but not as strong as I am." Ebon said as they sat down and was promptly served their breakfast.
"Auntie you do not have to serve us you, are not a servant!" Kalya said as she smiled at the woman's happy face.
"Oh I am alright dear! I need to feel useful since I am not a warrior. I am enjoying taking care of those that have made my son so happy." Sara said as she re-entered the kitchen for the next round of servings as other warriors started to enter the room drawn by Sara's cooking.
"What is happening at the village do you know? I am worried that Seth may attack there again once more fighters leave for here?" Kalya said as she stared at her five Amazon mothers.
"There will not be to much of a depletion child. We will be receiving twenty warriors from each tribe. Then those left behind will merge to guard Jusenkyo and the valley. Thorn, Jasmine, and Spray will stay to coordinate the battle there." Mascara told the Isis Warrior.
"So you think Seth may attack Jusendo again?" Ebon said wondering if he should go back to the valley to train those warriors.
"He might as they break through his blocks he may try again. Don't worry since we can get to the valley from the library of Isis Snow Pea has been working with the warriors back home." Cologne told the worried Druid Priest.
"Now tell us what else you were able to find out." Cologne continued as she looked at the warriors.
The next hour was to tell them how they were able to break through the block and that with Ebon and Sean's help they learned to undo what Seth had done. The main problem was doing so the ley lines were not damaged takes time. They plan to search for the other blocks during lag time to practice and get faster. So they could give Seth a headache and be able to quickly undo his blocks during battle and maybe trap some of his minions inside the portals.
The elders nodded as each warrior going through their journals told what they learned as the elders quickly added the information to their journals. Saamin started to gain in knowledge in ley lines and was almost at Thyme's level. They had gone through all the books Isis had and were now starting to look for other items they felt they would need to fight the evil god.
As they talked, the other Amazon warriors asked questions, as they wanted to know what was going on and what they could do to help. It had become an impromptu meeting. The elders were proud of their warriors as they quickly grasped what was happening. The elders present watched as Shampoo and Cognac vied for dominance. Though they were two different people and each had the qualities needed to be elders but it would be a long time before either would take Cologne's seat.
"WHERE THE HELL AM I NOW!" The female voice broke through the meeting; Sara got up with red cheeks and quickly went outside.

The training of the warriors in Japan continued while in the morning the Isis Warriors did the training in the afternoons the O'Leary brothers worked with those that might be able to cast Druid magic. Though there were not many. Also during the afternoon training and evening training the elders worked with the warriors as well. In the afternoon and evening Kalya and her generals would go to the school and use the Nexus and ley lines to reach out and sever Seth's locks. As they moved through the ley lines they were finding that the locks had changed.
{"Kalya what did Seth do to the locks he put on the ley lines?"} Meran asked as she tried to push through the lock the evil god put on the ley line they were working on.
{"I am not sure let's use the new techniques we learned. Remember if they don't work we figure out a way to make them work!"} Kalya told her friends and family well mostly family.
They began to strip through the outer layer of the blockage. Thyme and Ebon likened it to untying a tight knot. They worked at the blockage but it was not going as they expected. It was as if each time they made headway the blockage came back only stronger. They were finally about to give up but knew they could not Earth depended on them.
{"This is taking too long!"} Ryoga growled, as he was correct.
{"This is what he wants. We need to change our strategy!"} Shen popped in with his comment.
{"We are all ears Shen-san, ok well all minds!"} Sage said as he tried to lighten the mood.
{"Yes...uh hum, ok we have found if we combine our pow...!"} Shen was cut off by an angry outburst.
{"WHAT DO YOU THINK WE ARE DOING AND IT AIN'T WORKING!"} Ryoga blew up his anger getting to him.
{"Ryoga! Now just calm down we have not combined our efforts in the manner Shen-sensei was talking about! Your anger is directed toward the Hibiki Clan don't direct your anger at us that could cost us everything!"} Kalya told the angry young man who looked guilty and nodded his head.
{"I am sorry for taking my anger out on you Shen-san...it is just...!"} Ryoga could not finish but Shen smiled at him.
{"It is alright young one I understand, since we are now a family we should take a moment when we finish here and help you too figure out what to do."} Shen said as Ryoga perked up feeling less depressed and more cared for.
{"It's about time all his depression was giving me a headache!"} Niitmin groused but the smile told them all he was teasing.
{"I'll show you headache bud!"} Ryoga snarled but his eyes twinkled.
{"Now children, am I going to have to separate you!"} Kalya giggled as she mock glared at her generals.
{"NO MOTHER!"} The generals all stated back to her.
{"Ok now back to what I was saying. We have not been truly combining our gifts. At this point we were just taking a portion of the blockage and trying to dissect it. I think we need to combine our gifts as we have learned to combine our Isis Magic!"} Shen told them as they all nodded.
{"Alright how do you think we should do this?"} Ric popped in as his mind started working on ways to do just that.
{"Well we are using our individual combined powers like a knife or a pair of scissors to cut through the blockage. I think we should spiral our stands together as one and see what happens and I mean all our gifts."} Shen told them and they all nodded.
{"We need to go slowly in case we start to cause damage to the lay lines we need to be able to pull back quickly."} Kalya sent to her generals.
They pulled back their attack a small distance. Then the single strand of rolling colors soon began to twist together with single color strands of varying shades. They finished and as one they moved forward. They feared it might be too much power and they would cause more harm than they intended. They feared they would as Kalya warned them. So, they moved slowly. They gently pushed their 'knife' through the outer layer of the blockage. They all kept their senses opened to a major change in the ley line. As they moved forward they had to stop as a major change did happen.
{"STOP!"} Nodoka shouted as she started to pull back the others soon followed.
{"Did you feel it?"} Nodoka asked the others as they looked at her with confusion.
{"Feel what? What did you feel Nodoka?"} Dolphin asked as she had felt something but was not sure what it was.
{"I am not sure but it felt like the ley line was in great pain!"} Nodoka shuddered as her family began inspecting the ley line and was shocked to see part of it was a red black.
{"We have weakened Seth's hold on this and it should prevent him from strengthening it. We can't do any more without destroying the ley lines."} Kalya said, as she feared if they went any further major catastrophes would start at the location of the ley lines.
{"We can't give up, we are almost through!"} Ryoga snarled at his leader.
{"Ryoga at what cost if what we are doing is harming the ley lines what do you think it is doing to the area and people around it!?"} Mousse asked him, Ryoga opened his mouth to retort then shut it quickly.
{"Let's think this through. Now our full power is too much what if we lower our power levels down some. Let's remove the chaos from the nexus that might be enough and like young Ryoga said we are almost through we won't need that much power to break through and do it without harming the lines."} Shen said as he sent his senses to the blockage.
{"Shen-san what if we just use Kal-Chan's gifts and our druid magic. I mean her gift will put us in tune with the ley lines so we can more quickly determine if we are causing more damage. The Druid magic is used to alter them and the Nexuses and that will defiantly get us through but without harming our magic base."} Tarragon asked as his senses also moved along the ley lines he let out a breath he was holding as he saw the ley lines were returning to normal.
{"That is very good Tarragon, let us try that. Then we will need to think through our next move."} Shen said with a nod of his head.
The Isis Warriors pulled back all but Kal-Chan's gift and the Druid magic. They were all glad for the extra training from Ebon and Sean. They slowly went through the ley line and back into the blockage. They went slow in case they needed to pull back quickly. As they gently cut through Seth's enhanced blockage they felt as the earth began to rumble. They almost stopped when they realized it was not because of what they were doing. They continued as realization came to them. Seth was having a tantrum they all smirked with evil grins.
They pushed on to the next blockage once they broke through the one they were working on. This time they used only the elfin gift and the Druid magic. As they pushed on the 'knife' shrunk as the warriors pulled back everything but the elfin ley lines gift and the Druid magic. As they tried to push through the block they could not, their combined powers made only a small scratch but could not get through the block. They pulled back to evaluate their options.
{"What do we do now?"} Sage asked as they tried to pierce the block in the ley lines.
{"I think we need to add one of our other powers at a time but hold off on using the Nexus power."} Hayashi suggested as they all felt the Chaotic Nexus energy might be too strong for the ley lines to handle.
{"Agreed, what first? Ki maybe?"} Kalya suggested as they all nodded.
The group of warriors began to glow a sliver white as they added their ki to the combined power. As they moved it closer to the new blockage the ley line began to tremble. They paused and the trembling continued. Kalya frowned as she recognized the source of the lines tremble.
{"Seth has come to do battle push on!"} Kalya told her generals.

The elders entered the building they had just finished the training of the current warriors. They expect the new wave any day. They wondered if the Phoenix warriors would arrive before the others. As they headed toward the bulletin board with the map they stopped. The five elders shuddered. They turned to head out they did not even stop for warriors. They did not have to when the warriors saw them move at great speeds they knew that something was wrong and followed behind them. Pewter, Frosta and minuet were the closest to the elders. They wanted to ask what was going on but did not have to as they suddenly felt the evil wash over them. The warriors entered the schoolyard. They saw the Isis warriors hovering over the far goal post as they held hands and spun around an invisible object to most.
"=Look at the center of the Nexus! It is Seth=!" Pewter called out as everyone turned.
"=Why does he not come through=?" Minuet asked as suddenly Thyme and Saamin was next to her.
"=He still can't get through their magic is keeping him inside. Come on we need to distract him before he finds a way to send warriors after Kalya and her generals=." Rouge said as she signaled the attack.
"Aim for what is in the center of the Isis Warriors circle whether you see anything or not! DO NOT HIT ANY OF THE ISIS WARRIORS!" Mascara shouted in Japanese as she glared at Shampoo alone on the last command.
The warriors charged those that had mastered flying flew up inside the circle of Isis Warriors and with ki enhanced weapons began striking at what looked like nothing. The warriors on the ground pulled arrows and bows. They fed their ki into the arrows and shot at what the other fighters looked to be hitting. As their ki enhanced weapons hit the invisible object the scream of pure rage came from it. It got angrier as the ki-enhanced arrows flew true to their mark.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!" The scream filled the schoolyard.
"YOU WILL NOT STOP ME! EARTH WILL BE MINE!" The warriors did not stop to listen they continued to shoot at the invisible sphere.
The warriors did jump though, when glowing ki darts started to land around them from above they looked up. A contingent of twenty Phoenix warriors was overhead. They turned and saw as Seth's warriors came from the trees around the school. Snow Pea and Sapphire took over the flying warriors attacking the Nexus. The other three warriors took the bow women and turned to fight with the Phoenix warriors.
"KALYA KEEP GOING, THE MORE YOU BREAK THROUGH THE BLOCKAGES THE WEAKER HE GETS!" Cologne shouted as she headed into battle.

The Isis Warriors sensed the other fighters but they needed to free as many ley lines as they could. They heard the battle below them and then felt as Saamin and Thyme grabbed the hands of four of the Isis Warriors. They moved into the circle to fight Seth and break his hold on the ley lines. They could not communicate but they could feel their power and followed it to where the Isis Warriors were trying to open another blockage. The two warriors added their ki into the mix it was enough to push the power of the 'knife' over the top and they were able to cut through and move on to the next blockage.
"How are you able to do this?" Ric asked Thyme as he had taken his left hand and the right hand of Dolphin.
"We are grandmasters of our ki we have been for years. We know how to see the ley lines. Though without your strand of power we would have not been able to help you. We are following that strand. The Phoenix and Amazons on the ground will take care of Seth's minions. The flying ones are doing quite well for not seeing the Nexus. We need to break as many blockages as we can. The more we get through the harder and longer it will take for him to get back here." Thyme spoke quickly as they followed the strand with their ki to the next blockage.
The warriors fought around the schoolyard while the elders with the warriors pounded on the nexus, they also guarded the Isis warriors as they searched for more of Seth's tampering. The Amazons soon had help as several Phoenix warriors emit ki darts from their wings and shot them into the invisible sphere. The roar of pain told them that they were fighting something. That and the trembling of the ground beneath the Amazons started to shake. Together with the flying Amazons they kept up attacking Seth inside the Nexus. Suddenly there was a loud boom and all the screaming and shaking stopped. The remaining minions of Seth exploded into flame and disappeared.
The fighters landed under Kalya and her generals and stared transfixed. Some were noticing that the warriors were weakening. As the Phoenix Warriors landed they shimmered and turned human. Saamin stared in shock. Meran nudged him on his right and he nodded and returned to the search. As they found the next one they surged toward it and with no trouble, they broke the blockage. It was then that the generals were starting to weaken. Kalya ended the search and they all pulled back their magic and ki. They then fluttered down to the other warriors. Before Kalya could welcome them Saamin was in the face of a tall medium dark skinned man with topaz eyes and tawny hair.
"Jeekot how did you do that without water!?" Saamin turned the six-foot tall man his shoulder length hair flying outward.
"Isis, she gave us these curses to help us blend in here. She also gave us the ability to control it." Saamin's mouth dropped open then he jumped at the hand on his shoulder.
"Do you want Isis momma to give you a curse now?" Kalya asked him and he nodded.
She and the others stepped back as a small cloud formed over Saamin. Then a short burst of rain and he was now human. He opened his mouth to ask how to change back when he glowed. His eyes went glassy as he began to glow golden. When the light disappeared he shimmered and was his normal self again. He smiled as this would work he did not have to keep water with him but his smile was short lived when the same caramel skinned man threw cold water on him.
"HEY!" He scowled at Jeekot until he pointed down at Saamin's body.
"It is still a curse Saamin. You will change with cold and hot water but you can quickly shift back without water." Jeekot told him as he scowled and shimmered back to his Phoenix form.
"Why didn't you tell me that before I got cursed!?" He glared at Jeekot.
"You didn't ask but if I were you I would change to human before you are plastered all over the newspapers." Kalya said as she pointed to the local reporters as they had showed up again.
Saamin, Niitmin, and Meran quickly became human though the two generals were surrounded by the Amazons to give them time to change from the hero's costume to other clothes. When they were dressed, they stepped from behind the Amazons with a nod of thanks to the female fighters. Meran walked up to Kalya with a frown.
"Have you found a spell for changing the clothes yet?" Kalya shrugged her shoulders.
"Almost, Snow Pea is looking at them." Kalya told her with a smile.
"We need to get out of here like last time. Kalya are you all strong enough?" Sapphire said as she came up to Kalya.
"Yes we can do it." Kalya said as she looked at her generals.
"Thank you dear we can help as well our magic is not as strong as it once was but it is nice to have it back." Snow Pea said with a warm smile.
All the warriors gathered in a large tight group. The elders and Isis Warriors circled around them they did not need to touch and all cast the spell they needed. The reporters burst through the gates of Furinkan High. They ran as fast as they could to prevent the fighters from leaving. They all stopped as a flash of golden light filled with a rainbow of colors burst around the large group when they turned and covered their eyes. They turned, as the light got brighter. When they turned back the group was gone. The reporters scowled with anger and stormed off deciding they needed to stake out the school.

The Amazon warriors fought Seth as he tried to destroy them from inside the Nexus. The flying warriors pounded on the invisible sphere they knew something was there as they had all learned to use their ki to see the ley lines and the anomalies to find the Nexuses. The archers on the ground shot their arrows toward the center of the warriors. As all of the Amazons in Japan, they had learned to infuse their weapons with ki even their throwing weapons. The screams from within the center of Amazons and Isis Warriors told them they were hitting their target.
They turned at the sound behind them and found animal human hybrids as they burst through a line of trees at the far end of the campus. The archers put away their bows and arrows and pulled their hand held weapons and charged into battle with Seth's minions. The flying Amazons stayed with Kalya and the generals to help them break through the blockages Seth had put on the ley lines and they enjoyed making the evil chaotic god angry. Sapphire and Snow Pea orchestrated the Amazons as they continued to pound on the Nexus and some were able to damage the god as well.
The Amazons on the ground had followed Mascara, Cologne, and Rouge into battle with the hybrid warriors of Seth. Many of the warriors noticed in passing as the police had blocked the gate to keep spectators and the press out of the schoolyard. The warriors ran into the oncoming minions of the evil god. The Amazon's training had prepared them for this battle though some felt not enough. Weapons flew in a flurry of clangs and slashed the minions though they were strong opponents. That was until small projectiles of ki started appearing in their bodies.
The Amazons took a quick look as shadows flew over them. They sighed with relief and surged with new confidence as the twenty warriors from Phoenix Mountain entered the battle. Now all they needed was the twenty Musk and Amazons that would come with one more elder. The battle though short was brutal. Many warriors on both sides were injured only Seth's warriors seemed to fare the worst. It was like it was fifty years ago the tribes of Jusendo Valley forged a truce and fought side by side against the most evil of powers.
The ground warriors met Seth's hybrid fighter with varying weapons. They showed Seth that they were just as skilled as the Amazons left back in the Jusendo valley. As they fought Pewter, Frosta, and Minuet along with four other of the Amazon warriors were surrounded by ten of Seth's minions. There were two falcon headed minions, three, cat headed of different species, there was one jackal, two crocodile and two bull. They all carried five foot long double-edged swords. The only difference between the weapons that Seth's warriors carried and the Amazons was that the weapons of the Amazons glowed from red to deepest black. The minions of Seth did not care figuring it was just a trick and meant nothing. They charged.
The Amazons struck out with their weapons. Their first swings cut the blades from the swords of their attackers. They did not stop to gloat or taunt, they kept swinging their glowing weapons and moved from their tight cluster in the center of the circled hybrids and moved out toward them. As the evil warriors were touched by the blades of the Amazons wounds began to appear. They did not have time to bleed as the heat of the glowing swords cauterized the wounds at the same time. The schoolyard was filled with the screams of the ten attackers. Though Seth's warriors turned at the sounds the Amazons did not. That was one of the first lessons Kalya and Happosai taught them never get distracted. A lesson they all learned very well.
The army of Seth did not learn that lesson. As they all turned at the screams the Amazons in one large mass struck. They surged forward and nearly decimated their enemies. The only thing that saved them was the intervention of Seth. His enraged scream continued to fill the school's soccor field and neighborhood. He brought them back to him any too badly wounded burst into flame as a warning to the rest of his army he will not tolerate failure.

The contingent of twenty Phoenix warriors arrived in time at the compound in time to see the elders and their warriors run from the compound. The lead Phoenix warrior signaled his troops to follow. They flew behind the warriors. They reached the school a few minutes after the Amazons. They saw as they were shooting arrows at nothing while flying warriors were actually pounding on nothing but hitting something. They turned at a roar as a warrior party of Seth attacked. They watched as the archers turned putting away their bow and arrows. They pulled out their hand-to-hand weapons and charged the hybrid warriors. Three of the changing elders went with the ground crew while two stayed with the flying warriors and continued to attack the invisible nexus that Seth was trying to come through or was he just coordinating his troops.
The lead Phoenix warrior sounded the charge. He and his warriors started sending ki darts at the minions of the evil god. Once they knew the new warriors were not theirs, the fighters of Seth that flew took to the air to do battle as they had done fifty years ago. They however were not meeting an opponent at the levels of fifty years before. Like the Amazons Kalya and Happosai trained the Phoenix and Musk. They were now fighting not grandmasters but masters of the School of Anything Goes. They quickly found out that it was not going to be easy to beat the Phoenix warriors.
The Phoenix fighters pulled forth swords, pikes, and many other sharp instruments. Some even fought with staffs that looked like Ric's weapon of choice. They also showed they knew how to use them proficiently. They showed they had also learned the Takashi Sword of Light School as the blades were glowing bright red to onyx black. The Phoenix like the Amazons caused massive damage to their opponents. Each time a wound was opened the heat of the glowing swords closed it. The fighting waged for nearly half an hour when the final scream of rage filled the schoolyard and all their enemies either disappeared or burst into flame.

Sara Hibiki and her youngest daughter stared toward the school from the window on the third floor. It was the level that gave them the clearest view of the direction the fighters went. Sara kept a tight grip on her daughter's hand though she wanted to go help fight she knew she could not make it there without getting lost. She watched her mother out of the corner of her eyes and frowned at the fear and worry on her face. Her attention was drawn to a bright golden rainbow light. She turned then turned quickly away as it was as if she stared into twenty suns. When the light faded the courtyard was filled with over fifty warriors. Ryoga's sister opened the window then took her mother and jumped to the ground.
"AAAAARRRRGGGGGG!" The scream of Sara caught everyone's attention.
Ryoga tried not to laugh but flew up and grabbed both his mother and sister in an effort to prevent the Hibiki curse from taking them both away. He landed next to his friends and put down the two Hibiki women. They all turned back to the new comers and were about to start asking questions when they were interrupted by a strong male voice.
"Let us go inside we need to find out what you and the generals were able to accomplish and who our new warriors are and who will be leading them." Happosai said as he took his wife's arm and led her toward the large building.
The group followed them. Kalya stopped to pick up Mr. Tabbs who was angry he missed the fight. The pudgy cat complained all the way to the building only Kalya and her generals heard his grumblings. They tried hard not to laugh and managed not to but their chuckles and giggles were unstoppable. The rest of the warriors looked at them with confusion as they stared at the pudgy cat licking Kalya's nose and meowing as if scolding her.
They entered the main complex Sara and several of the warriors moved to the kitchen as Ryoga led his sister to a table. He gently pushed her into a chair. He smirked as she turned and scowled at her brother. He sat next to her as the meeting was about to get started. He watched as Ric put what they were able to do on the map of ley lines.
"Ryoga I want...!" Ryoga's elder sister snarled.
"Shush! Satu this is important!" Ryoga growled back in a whisper as his sister glared at him.
"Satu behave!" She turned quickly and saw as her mother placed a cup in front of her, and was followed by an Amazon as she filled it.
Satu was twenty-two she had shoulder length medium brown hair with red and blond highlights. In sunlight and high intensity lights it looked like copper. Her eyes were medium brown with green rings around the iris. She was athletic in build and was five feet nine inches tall. She had an oval face her eyes were large and sat on either side of a perky nose. Her nose sat over a pair of naturally colored lips of dark pink. She wore black kung-fu pants and battle slippers. She wore a white tee shirt with three-inch wide straps. Over her tee she wore a green flannel shirt tied at the waist. She like Ryoga carried a backpack that would need to use a forklift to lift. Unlike Ryoga she did not carry an enhanced bamboo umbrella. She carried an enhanced walking staff of gopher wood stained a reddish black.
"First I would like to thank the Phoenix warriors that came to fight again against Seth and for your timely arrival. Saamin please introduce the general of the Phoenix contingent." Kalya asked as she bowed to the Phoenix Warriors.
"Jeekot is our general. He will coordinate with us and will pass what he learns to his troops so they can better fight against the evil coming." Saamin said as Jeekot stood still in his human form.
Jeekot's human form stood five feet eleven inches his tawny hair became lighter with the white stripe framed his face on the left and the iridescent green stripe on the right. His hair lengthened to his waist. His eyes stayed the same, as did his caramel coloring. He was still muscular but now more suited to his five feet eleven inch height. He stood then shifted back to his Phoenix form so those in the meeting will know who he was in that form.
As a Phoenix, Jeekot stood six feet four inches tall. His skin was a dark caramel color. His face was oval with high cheekbones. He had medium sized eyes of topaz that rested on either side of a long thin nose. His lips were a little plumper then medium thickness but not quite full thickness. His hair was tawny and went just past his shoulders. At six inches from the end of hair was a two-inch stripe of white followed by a one inch spacer then another two inch stripe of an iridescent green (think head of Mallard duck). His body was muscular though not bulging. His wings had a forty-foot span and were tawny in color. They had the white and iridescent green stripes at the bottom. There were two three-inch stripes on the top and bottom of a five-inch iridescent green stripe. He wore a pair of black loose pants but no shirt. Over his chest were two four-inch wide straps that crossed like a 'X'. The two straps held two long swords.
"Thank you Isis Warrior, we were glad to have come at a time when we were needed. I understand you have daily meetings to go over where Seth attacks?" Jeekot asked as they all nodded.
"Kalya please, and yes it will be necessary for you to come so you will know what is happening I am sure Lord Saffron wants to be kept abreast. Though I know he gets daily updates from Calcoridan since we talk with the village everyday. I am sure he wants your perspective." Kalya said as she smiled at him.
"If I may why were you and your generals not fighting today?" Jeekot asked there was no condemnation just curiosity on his face.
"It is a long story but in short with help from Thyme we have all learned to use our ki to locate the ley lines not affect them but see them. The elf soul I have merged with has that rare gift from her grandfather. My generals and I now see the ley lines and nexuses automatically. We have learned to combine our power into the gift and give us the ability to affect the nexuses and ley lines as Seth does. Our tampering if you will is to break through the blocks Seth has put on many of the ley lines. We were doing that when he attacked." Kalya told the general of Saffron as she noticed another Phoenix warrior taking notes.
"The Amazons that have learned to fly was attacking the Nexuses to distract Seth we feared he was trying to break through but he does not have enough power yet and after today's attack he has lost some." Meran told Jeekot her face in a frown.
"I see so how many of his tampering did you breakthrough?" Jeekot asked as he raised an eyebrow as Meran glared at him and leaned into Sage.
"Sit warrior we are about to discus it now. Kalya if you will or do you wish to let Shen direct this meeting?" Rouge asked as she smiled at the first Librarian of Isis.
"I will allow Shen he has the freshest memory of us and can explain it better." Kalya said as she smiled at Rouge for allowing her male generals the right to talk and show them respect.
"Thank you Kalya, Rouge. Well we have learned to be careful not to mix the chaos from the nexuses we received in our attempts as it tends to cause damage to the ley lines." He started as Mascara put a hand on Jeekot's shoulder to keep him quiet.
"Though we found if we use a very small amount it will allow us to cut through easier then without it. We just need to experiment on the right amount and levels as they change the farther we get from here. We were able to cut through six blockages. Which was why Seth was a bit mad when the battle ended? If it was not for Thyme and Saamin's help by them adding their ki we would not have gotten as many as we did." Shen continued looking at his notes as Kalya and the generals sent what information they had on what happened.
"The help from the O'Leary brothers was the best help we could have as Druids they can manipulate the ley lines with magic that won't harm them. Though not many of us have Druid magic some do and with our Isis magic and that of the elf we can cast the Druid spells. So that helped us get as many as we did." Shen told a quiet room of shocked and awed fighters.
"Though I think we over extended ourselves so it will be a few days before we can try again. Now we will transcribe what we learned in our perspective and make sure the scholastic team has copies. As we have learned each of us remembers some parts better then others and it is important to get all the information. So if you will please write them up while they are still fresh in your memories. It will also help elders if you and the warriors do the same what they saw during the battle and especially those fighting Seth could be invaluable." Shen said as the five elders nodded their ascent.
"Do you know how Seth got the warriors there without them coming through the nexus at the school?" Rouge asked them.
"Here this is the nexus at the school." Ric said as he got up and went to the marked map with ley lines.
Notice there are three large nexus and five medium, sized ones. I think this one right here is the one he used. It has not been tampered with but because he did tamper with the larger one he could manipulate that one somewhat to allow some of his fighters through." Ric told the group as they all took notes including the soldier of the Phoenix.
"We should go back in a day to two to check the perimeter of the school inside the wall and out and find that nexus there may be more then one." Sapphire told the warriors as they nodded.
"Do you have an arrival time of the last elder and warriors and the Musk?" Shen asked as he sensed the question on Kalya's mind.
"They are leaving tomorrow from the village the Musk has not given us a time frame for themselves. Though I feel it might be at about the same time." Sapphire told them as the warriors nodded.
"Then I think the Phoenix should start their training tomorrow we need to get them up to speed on the additional techniques we have learned." Kalya said as she stood to her feet her generals following her.
The room soon was empty of all humans leaving the Phoenix warriors with Niitmin and Saamin though Meran had left with the others.
"Meran needs to be here there is much Lord Saffron wants you to know." Jeekot said as he took control of the other two.
"That depends Jeekot if you plan on forcing Meran back to Mount Phoenix to become a brood mare you will find _all_ of Team Isis as a road block." Niitmin said as he knew how Meran felt about Sage and wanted her to be happy.
"She was promised to my brother after this war! She needs to give up on this childish infatuation with a human that cannot even fly!" Jeekot said with a slight scowl.
"Well if that is all there is to it he flies now. So enough said. What does Saffron want us to know?" Saamin said as he tried to change the subject as he too wanted Meran to be happy and Sage was that happiness.
Saamin and Niitmin would not allow Jeekot to turn the topic of conversation back to the missing Phoenix warrior. They finally got Jeekot on topic and as he explained what Saffron wanted them to know Niitmin was relaying it back to Kalya and the other generals. They learned that Calcoridan had found more information on ley lines and Nexuses and had sent it with the new warriors several large journals with the information. Niitmin and Saamin took them and leafed through them with nodding heads and smiles.
"This is perfect with this information we may be able to stop Seth before he comes through." Saamin said as he read another entry.
"I would say we might even be able to take the war to him. Let's destroy his 'home' instead of his destroying ours!" Niitmin said with an evil grin.
"Niitmin and I will make copies for Kalya she will allow the rest of the generals to copy them as well as the elders. I will take these copies to Isis' library so the scholastic team can go through them." Saamin said as he licked his lips excitedly.
"So you have access to the library of Isis?" Jeekot did not think he or the Musk warrior was permitted.
"Yes Shen is the lead librarian since Isis chose him for that task. Snow Pea is the Amazon's librarian. Isis gave us access once she was satisfied we were not like Basil." Saamin said as he looked up from the book.
"Won't it take you to long to copy those over there is a lot there?" Jeekot asked them.
"Nope, Kalya developed a speed writing and reading technique though we do sometimes like to take our time in reading the tomes of Isis when copying the speed comes in handy." Saamin said with a small smile.
"Well now that we are here you both will report to me I will decide if any plans you make are valid." Jeekot said his arrogance finally breaking through though neither said a word, Saamin kept quiet at the shake of Niitmin's head.
"Do not make us replace you as the leader of the Phoenix faction Jeekot. We are in charge of this war as ordained by Isis!" The lower feral growl got all the Phoenix warriors' attention.
They looked up to see Kalya her generals and a large saber-tooth tiger at the bottom of the stairs. What made him nervous was that they were all glowing each in a different colors except Kalya who rolled through all the colors. Then Jeekot's attention was drawn to in front of him. He looked down to see Niitmin glowing soft yellow. Jeekot scowled as he and Saamin rose and moved to stand with Kalya and the other generals.
"Jeekot you are here to coordinate between the Phoenix warriors and the Isis Warriors. I was chosen by Isis to be one of them. I follow the commands of Kalya and then Saffron. This war will determine if Earth lives or dies if even one of us is forced to choose against Isis we all die." Niitmin said as he glared at the arrogant birdman.
"Then I tell Saffron you go against his orders!" Jeekot stated not asked Niitmin and Saamin.
"If you are here to usurp my authority and that of Isis then yes? Niitmin and Saamin are a part of our team to find a way to stop Seth they can't follow both our orders! My orders are those of Isis and the defense of the world. It looks like yours are based in your own self importance and arrogance." Kalya said as she stepped forward her eyes darkening to a glowing black.
"I should cut your head off for that _human_!" Jeekot made a move toward the glowing girl but was stopped by a deep feral growl to her left.
Jeekot looked and saw the saber-tooth tiger standing there his paw raised to swipe at him. He started to laugh at the useless protector of the girl before him that was until the large horse sized tiger finished its swipe. He stepped back with a gulp as his drawn sword was cut into four pieces. He looked at the tiger then at Kalya who stared at him her head tilted cutely to one side.
"Do you think the goddess would send me here without protection? Aker, Bastet, and Sekhmet finished my training in the Neko-Ken before they sent Mr. Tabbs to me they trained him in it as well. I will warn one last time, lose the arrogance or it won't be Tabbs you have to worry about!" Kalya told the birdman as she felt her deity mother and father nearby as well as Bastet and Sekhmet.
"I don't take orders from you!" Jeekot snarled as he glared at the girl and cat.
"Actually you do!" They all turned to the voice that swirled around them in rage all but Kalya.
Jeekot stepped back. He stared in awe and fear on either side of Kalya stood Aker, Bastet, and Sekhmet, behind Kalya stood the image of Isis as she glared down at him with rage. She was holding a glowing crystal she handed to Kalya. He watched as the girl smiled lovingly at the winged goddess then turned back to him and glared at him. He watched as all of Kalya's generals even Saamin and the Musk Thyme moved up around Isis and Kalya as if protecting the image of the goddess. He watched as Kalya stepped forward and placed the crystal on the ground halfway between them. She moved back as Sekhmet and Aker moved forward on either side of the crystal.
It began to glow a familiar soft golden color. What bothered Jeekot was it was darkening. He watched as a cone of white shot up from the crystal the point of the cone still attached to the crystal. Jeekot swallowed hard as the image of Saffron appeared within the cone. His face was dark and angry. Jeekot stepped forward and bowed to his lord then straightened to find Saffron in person in front of him. Saffron reached out and backhanded him sending Jeekot twenty feet from him.
"I expected this attitude from the Musk though it seems not all the Musk are as bad as the one called Basil. You were sent here to aid in this war not take over. If that is a problem for you I will send Callar to take your place." Saffron said as he glared down at Jeekot as he rose slowly to his feet.
"Look before you Jeekot Isis has allowed me to handle you this time. The next time you step out of line it will be Sekhmet and Aker who will put you in your place. Lady Bastet is much to gentle but do not underestimate her where Kalya and Tabbs are concerned!" Saffron snarled, as Jeekot saw in his ruler's face that he was not happy he had to be summoned here to this place.
"Meran, Sage, come to me!" Saffron said as he turned to face the warriors of Isis.
"Yes Lord Saffron?" Meran bowed to her ruler though Sage only bowed curtly as all he saw before him was one of the two people keeping Meran and him apart.
"After I and Prince Herb had a long talk with the goddess and her fellow deities it was decided that you two may marry. It seems that Isis will not allow her _children_ to be forced into anything they did not agree to. So I hereby give my blessing as does Prince Herb for you two to unite our tribes through marriage." Saffron said as he bowed to the couple, then stepped back into the light of the crystal and faded from the room.
Kalya and her generals and friends cheered as they gathered around the two shocked warriors. Their laughter wafted through the complex as Jeekot glared in anger as Meran was promised to his family. She was going to give them all strong magically enhanced children. He stepped forward but was stopped by the eight foot tall Aker. He looked up and the dual headed lion god and backed away as he snarled down at him showing his very long and sharp teeth.
"Kalya my dear he will behave now. If not Sekhmet will be back to make him behave. If he is that lucky!" Aker's double booming voice spoke to his daughter as she came up and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you Aker Poppa. Thank you all and you Isis momma for helping Sage and Meran get permission to be together." Kalya bowed to the other three gods before her.
"*SNORT* Sentimental clap trap!" Sekhmet snarled but there was a hint of a smile on her lips.
"Come we need to head back there is much that needs done. Kalya you and your generals have done well. You have caused Seth a large set back. If you can break a few more blockages he created he will be stopped almost permanently. Niitmin I think you and Saamin may be right if you can prevent his entry here you can take the battle to him. Shen when you bring the tomes sent by Saffron please make a copy for my library." Isis said as she looked at each general and the Phoenix librarian with a smile.
Kalya ran to Bastet and hugged her tightly and gave her a kiss on her cheek. She then went to Sekhmet and did the same. It did not take the goddess long to give Kalya a hug back as she was the only one she would allow to show her such sentiment. Sekhmet then quickly stepped back with a disgusted snort that only caused the warriors of Isis to laugh. They watched as the three gods and the image of Isis disappeared. They turned at the bright white glow and saw as the crystal faded from view.
"So how about a wedding at the end of the week?" Kalya asked as she looked at the two lovers of her generals.
"Kalya dear poor Sage has not had the chance to ask Meran yet." Nodoka told her daughter but they all chuckled.
"I think we should get them married tomorrow before Herb or Saffron changes his mind." They all turned and found the five elders on the stairs all glaring in rage at Jeekot.
"And you bird boy try anything like that again and you won't have to worry about the gods! They won't find your body!" It was not the elders that spoke but Happosai as he had jumped from the stairs in front of Jeekot.
Jeekot looked down at the five-foot and eight and half inches tall man. As it looked like he and the elders had reached their new forms. He raised his clawed hand to swipe at the grandmaster not recognizing him as the dwarven pervert that had trained his people. He realized his mistake as the man moved faster than lightning. Happosai grabbed the bird generals striking hand and twisted away from his body the pop told everyone Happosai dislocated his lower arm. Though the old man was not done yet. He slammed his knee into the man's chin as he had bent over at the twisting of his arm. This sent his head back. The 'oof' that escaped him was from when Happosai gave him three quick palm strikes to his solar plexus the last one he had released his grip on the Phoenix general's arm and sent him back at the feet of his warriors.
Happosai had completed his attack in just under a minute. None of the other Phoenix warriors had time to move to save their general. Though there were several that would not have helped anyway as they knew Saffron's complete orders and it did not include Jeekot taking over the running of this war. Before Jeekot had stopped sliding on the floor Happosai was back standing next to Cologne. She smiled at him then leaned her head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around her. They all turned and headed back upstairs. Kalya her generals and friends left planning the wedding for tomorrow and the party afterwards.
"Well come on we will show you to your rooms. You should double up if you can since there are more Amazons and the Musk coming. Any apartment with a name tag on the door is taken." Kalya said as she turned and faced the stunned Phoenix warriors.

The wedding was beautiful the Amazon Warriors did not like to admit it but they actually loved celebrations and the ability to decorate for them. By the time the minister from a nearby church arrived to perform the ceremony at eleven the compound, outside of the building and the first floor inside was decorated. When the minister arrived he would have sworn they had been decorating for weeks.
The wedding was held outside since it was a lovely day. There was a white opened weaved arch. It was located in front of the building it was covered in white roses and orchids. The path up to the arch was covered in a white cloth that was bordered on two sides by chairs. At the arch stood the minister and Sage. The male team members along with Saamin and Thyme were there as well. Sage wore of his battle kimono he was the only one of those that married to do so since his was available. The women's kimono was the first ones done.
Sage's battle kimono was done in a tawny gold with black trim down the front. It had hand painted Tao symbols painted on it sparsely. They were tawny and black with a red half-inch circle border around them. He wore a black sash and kung-Fu pants with tawny battle slippers with matching Tao symbols on top the slippers.
The music started and a precession of the Isis Warriors came down followed by Frosta, Minuet, and Pewter. The last two were Happosai acting as father of the bride as he led Meran arm in arm down the aisle toward her new husband to be. Kalya could sense the struggle Happosai was having in not going perverted on them but she was proud he managed to maintain his composer.
Meran wore her favorite battle kimono it was made of shimmering copper satin. The kimono was embroidered with silver metallic thread in a lotus blossom design. She wore a silver sash and battle slippers. The battle slippers had an embroidered copper lotus blossom in the tops. The Kung-Fu pants were silver with a three-inch copper hem and waistband.
When they reached the groom and minister Happosai kissed her cheek then stepped back and moved to sit next to his wife. The ceremony was beautiful as the two star-crossed lovers were finally able to realize their fondest desires and be united by marriage. They knew that even though Saffron and Herb gave their permission they could never really go home. Since she would be out of place at the Musk citadel and could be forced to mate with other Musk warriors and the same was for Sage both at the Musk citadel and at Phoenix Mountain. They had talked with Kalya and it was agreed they would stay at the compound after the war was over.
The ceremony was coming to an end and all that remained was to place the bond of their love on their fingers. Sage placed Meran's ring on her left hand ring finger. It was made of white gold it looked like a blooming lotus flower in the center was a pink two carat sapphire to the left of the flower and just below its top was a winged Phoenix reaching a hand up to the top edge of the flower to pull the petal down to see inside. On the opposite side of the bird woman down the one-inch wide band were four half carat white diamonds. Meran slipped a gold band etched with wild animals on his left hand. They then kissed as they were pronounced husband and wife.
The party started soon after and lasted the next week. They all partied happily the Isis Warriors did from time to time disappear. They did some private training using the books that Jeekot brought with him. Shen, Thyme, and Saamin were able to make a copy of for each of themselves. They were going to make a set for Isis but decided to giver her the copies Saffron sent. They also made a copy of the books for Snow Pea. The three men were allowing Kalya to copy them then she would give them to her other generals to make their own copy if they chose. They all did. This took only a few days after the arrival of the Phoenix warriors. As they, had gotten their speedwriting nearly to the level of Kalya's abilities.
The generals discussed what they remembered from reading the tomes and the notes they took while they read. They found they were on the right trail with what they were doing. They were warned not to use too much of the chaotic Nexus to often as it would cause irreparable damage to the ley lines and the earth. So it was decided that the use of the chaos they received would be used only if there was no other way to break through the blockages. It was Ryoga that had found the most obscure information that was also the most promising.
"I found this passage in one of the tomes but was unable to find any other entries that would expand on it." Ryoga said as he flipped pages to where he had the passage.
"According to this tome...!" Ryoga said as he held up the tome he was talking about.
"It says there is a way for those on this side of the Nexuses to pass through. I know we were talking about taking the battle to Seth instead of giving him a chance to come through to here. I tried to find more on how to do it even a hint but nothing. I think maybe since Thyme and Saamin are our experts they might find what I missed." Ryoga said as he stared at his notes then up at his friends.
"That is great Ryoga we now know it is a possibility. I don't know how I missed that though I went through that tome at least three times!" Tarragon said with a light scowl as he looked through the book.
"That Tarragon is why it is important for all of us to go over the same books on our own. As Ryoga just showed one of us might find something important we all might miss." Meran said with a warm smile to both Tarragon and Ryoga.
"Yeah, yeah ok I will quit complaining about having to read the tomes." Tarragon said with a mock scowl but his lips continued to want to smile.
"Shen-san get with Ryoga and have him show you the passage. Then you and the scholastic team can search Isis' books, scrolls and tomes for any more information. I would suggest you search the Druid tomes as well and talk with Sean and Ebon. Sean is a walking history book on the Druids." Kalya asked as her lead librarian nodded his agreement.
Ryoga got up and moved to sit next to Shen as he took out his tome and showed the elderly man where in the tome he found the passage. The others were more curious where that was pulled out their books and started looking at the section Ryoga was showing them. This was important as well the more eyes they had looking at this type of information they found the more they found.
"Kalya do you think Herb's contingent might also bring copies of their tomes, books and or scrolls on the ley lines and Nexuses?" Ric said as he looked at the passage in his copy of the tome.
"I don't know but I hope so. The more knowledge we have the more likely we are to win this battle of the ley lines." Kalya said with a small smile.
"Now even though we should not use the chaos from the Nexus to often or at all. However, if we need to we will. I want to practice controlling it, the better we can control the amount we need to use." Kalya started as all her generals pulled out their journals and pencils to start writing.
"First we need to set up a list of order. I think if we _have_ to use the chaos it should be only one at a time. I of course will go first as the nexus my chaos strength might be all we need even at the small amount I have to use." Kalya said as the others nodded their heads.
"I think we should learn to make our chaos streams as small as possible almost microscopic. Kalya will even at her weakest be the strongest of all of us and as we each step in we will want to add only the tiniest bit as not to overload and damage the ley lines." Mousse said as he wrote down what was being said.
"Agreed brother I also think that as each new general adds their chaos we start with the smallest amount then if that does not work add more until we match Kalya's amount of chaos." Dolphin told them as she wrote quickly.
"I see what you mean instead of all of us jumping in we can gradually add to Kalya's chaos and maybe only one or two of us need to add instead of everyone. That would save energy for the rest in case we need to join the fighting while those breaking the blockage can continue." Hayashi put in as he leaned into his beautiful wife.
"That makes sense this way instead of adding people then raising the level which might destroy the ley lines unintentionally. We add what we need slowly at a level we control to protect the ley lines and the areas of earth around them." Sage said as he wrote down the information on how they planned to use the Nexus chaos they now possessed.
"Ok any other comments?" Kalya asked as the generals' shook their heads and looked confused.
"Ok now in a circle and put at least one person size space between either side of you. Sorry for you newlyweds get friendly later." Kalya said with an impish grin at the newly married members of her team that were married to other generals.
"Ok now call up your chaos not at full power we know we can't use it at that power level." Kalya held out her palm and a softball sized orb of swirling colors of dark, light, metallic, shimmering, and glittery light formed there.
Kalya looked around and saw as her family as that was what they all were to her held up softball sized chaos as well. None had any strain as they had been working with their chaos to figure ways to use it in battle. Kalya looked at each one and nodded as their chaos though was not as strong as hers for the same size ball was all strong she raised an eyebrow as almost all of them were able to increase the strength of their chaos but still not as strong as hers.
"Ok our next step is we need to start shrinking the power level's inside the spheres to not hurt someone. This way we can keep the impressive size but only knock them off their feet." Kalya told them as they all nodded.
"I see anyone can shrink the power by shrinking the size we want to keep the size and lower the levels. It makes it stronger in us even more." Niitmin said as he did as he was asked.
The next few hours was Kalya and her generals learning to manipulate and somewhat control their chaos. Since chaos did not want to lend itself to control that easily. They were able to control it to a degree though it was never complete nor was the outcome predictable. The manipulation worked better and was more consistent in their efforts. After their training session they talked about what they learned and all took notes to be sure they had everything written down so they could go over it later.
They then began to work with their Isis magic, elf magic, the Druid spells and their ki. They learned to combine some to all their skills together depending on what was needed at the time. They each made suggestions and helped when others were having trouble. The biggest part of the training was to combine their powers together with each other. They had found that they were more dangerous and in the end it might be what helps destroy Seth and his armies. Though they might not want to kill Seth they were resigned to that possibility.

As they worked Mr. Tabbs played with the long hair of the females or went into the woods chasing a butterfly or following the scent of some unknown creature. He never moved to far from his family, as he was their protector. He was sniffing around a small hole in a tree when he stopped suddenly. He hunkered down low to the ground his tail swishing back and forth. The low growl he let loose grew from house cat deep to saber-tooth tiger deep. Tabbs suddenly jumped and spun in mid-air and ran back to the training Isis Warriors.

The partying Amazons did not notice as a flying man with no wings but had ground troops of twenty men and another twenty Amazons and an elder stood outside the gates. The elder walked up and tested the gate and found it was locked but what bothered her was the jolt of mild electricity that shot out at her hand. She looked on either side of the gate and found what looked like a doorbell. She pushed it incessantly until one of the revelers noticed them. She tapped the Amazon next to her pointed then sent her off to get the elders. The Amazon moved to the gate to let in the reinforcements.
She had long azure hair down to mid-thigh, with deep midnight blue eyes. They were on the large size and sat on either side of a long lean nose. She had full lips that were naturally rose colored light pink. Her face was round with high cheekbones. She was very voluptuous like all the Amazons and was six feet tall. She carried a long six-foot pike. She was wearing a bright sunny yellow mandarin pantsuit with matching battle slippers.
"=Bonnet what is going on here=?" The elder asked as she came up to the warrior.
"=The two Isis generals Sage and Meran were married three days ago=." Bonnet told her with a happy smile though it turned to a frown at the anger on the Musk Prince's face.
"=Aaw yes, the goddess Isis requested Prince Herb and Saffron to stop their plans of forcing their people that are generals into breeding stock=." The elder said as she understood the frown on her warrior's face that and the blustering from Herb behind her.
"Chiffon, Prince Herb welcome. I am afraid that Kalya and the generals are off training. They should be back soon though. Come let's get you settled." Snow Pea said with a cheery smile as she led them to the large building.
"You can select your apartment from those without a name tag, just remember you will have to double up that includes you Prince Herb. Your body guards can stay in the second bedroom." Snow Pea continued as they wove through the crowd of partygoers.
Snow Pea led them to the stairs to the upper floors. The warriors all chose their rooms in their new home for the duration of the war. Snow Pea shook her head when Chiffon was going to take an apartment on the second floor. She nodded and followed her fellow council member to the top most, seventh floor. Herb watched them and decided that floor was where he wanted to be. He headed up as well his bodyguards Mint and Lyme close behind him.
They reached the fourth floor and Herb was not happy to find almost all the rooms labeled for the elders though only six were here. He looked around and finally found an empty apartment. He checked the bedrooms and found them the same size. He frowned as a prince he should have an apartment by himself. He directed Mint and Lyme to their room and went into his. He settled in then went out to check the other doors on the floor. It seemed the elders were sharing except one had three people in it. Cologne, Happosai and Snow Pea. He also found the other rooms for the elders that were still in China were all around in one close section. They surrounded the room of Kalya and her generals. They too doubled up and it appeared, as some were married.
Kalya shared her room with Nodoka and Ric he frowned, as that was the man that threatened him. He looked on either side of Kalya's room and found a Minuet and Frosta shared the room on the left of Kalya while the other rooms housed her generals and their wives. Then the elders made the outer parameter it was as if they knew he would try to get closer to Kalya and Frosta. He felt as a prince he should have both of them, as they were too beautiful and strong for any ordinary man. He turned as he heard a voice behind him.
"I hope you are comfortable Prince Herb come Kalya and the generals should be back soon they will have much to tell us on their training." Cologne told him.
Herb was having a hard time with the changes in the elders. Though not as tall as they use to be as he remembered the stories his father told him of fifty years ago. They were still tall as they seemed to top out at five foot seven. He followed them and noticed that the elders had taken to wearing their hair up in braided buns with a ponytail coming out the center to keep their hair from dragging. He frowned, as the last of that water should have been his. He shook his head as he had to fight his arrogant ways he remembered Isis' threat if he tried anything with Kalya and her family and friends. An image of Aker and Sekhmet came to his mind and made him shudder.

As the elders came down the stairs Kalya and her generals entered the still partying group. The elders noticed the frown on her face, looked around the room, and saw why. As the elders came up to her she smiled slightly as she saw Chiffon with them. It turned to a frown again as Herb came up behind them followed closely by Jeekot.
"Come let's go to the visitors' house we can use the old war room there. We can update the map later if need be but since you did not take out any blockages it should be alright." Mascara told the Isis Warriors as the elders moved out the door followed by the warriors and their closest friends.
As they moved across the street to the apartment building there were extra members to the party besides Herb and Jeekot. Happosai of course he had lost fifty years with his wife he was not going to lose any more. Frosta, Minuet and Pewter also came with them, as they were the closest to being real generals of Isis. The last to follow was Shampoo and Cognac as the heirs to Cologne they made sure to be in the meetings. They entered the apartment building and were met by Sara. She had left the party when Ryoga left for training.
"Is there something wrong?" She asked worriedly as she looked at the Isis Warriors and the strange man.
"No child we need to have a meeting but we Amazons I am afraid have too much fun at special occasions so we came here to use the war room." Sapphire told her with a smile.
She, Minuet, Frosta, and Pewter left to the communal kitchen. They returned a few minutes later with tea and cakes. Sara turned to leave them alone. Kalya stopped her. She led the mother of Ryoga to a chair near her son and smiled as on the left side Frosta had already claimed a chair and scooted it closer to Ryoga. Sara stared at the young Amazon then back at Kalya. She just shrugged and smiled impishly at the woman who smiled back.
"Now tell us daughter how did your training go?" Mascara asked as she glared at Cologne and Happosai out of the corner of her eyes.
"Quite well the tomes we got from Jeekot gave us a hint of hope. Snow Pea momma you and the others will have to check through what Ryoga found." Kalya said as they all perked up excitedly. As Saamin and Thyme had arrived after the meeting started.
"Yes I found a passage in one of the tomes we copied for ourselves. It hinted that we could step through a nexus. It did not say what was on the other side but we think we might be able to destroy Seth's _home_ instead of letting him destroy ours. The problem is I do not understand as much as Shen, you, Thyme, and Saamin. So I showed Shen-san so the four of you can maybe find something I missed." Ryoga finished as he went over his notes.
"Thank you child, don't feel too bad about not understanding it gets a bit complicated though you did excellent in finding that passage." Snow Pea told him as she reached over Frosta and patted his hand.
"Oh that reminds me I had my scribes make copies of all of our tomes on ley lines. I am not sure if Isis or Saffron have the same books but I felt I better bring them all." Herb said as he pulled out twenty books and pushed them toward Shen.
Since Shen was on the other side of Snow Pea, she leaned in and began looking at some of the books. She smiled as she realized they were going to be doing a great deal of copying. Once she and Shen made the copy for Kalya, the tomes that Herb gave them would belong to the library of Isis. Kalya would allow her generals to copy the copies they made for her. She would share her copies with the elders. She had gotten Isis' permission to leave all her journals in her library until she needed them or went home. This way the Amazons' copies were safe against damage.
"Thank you Prince Herb. If Ryoga is correct and that was not just a lone passage your tomes may be what we need to get to the other side of the nexus." Kalya said with a slight nod.
"So was anything else accomplished today?" Rouge asked as she moved to look over Snow Pea's shoulder at the tome she was reading.
"We have found chaos is a royal pain!" Hayashi said with a frown, the room filled with laughter.
"Yes well besides that though it can be controlled a bit we can't guarantee the outcome of that control." Nodoka said as she was looking at her notes.
"We were able though to manipulate it. We started by controlling its strength." Ric said as he looked up at the voice.
"To what end my boy?" Happosai asked his eyes alit with excitement.
"Well we have discovered that too much pure chaos going through the ley lines is dangerous for the areas it goes through but especially the areas where the blockage occurs." Ric went on as the elders nodded they understood.
"So there may be blockages that we might need the chaos so we want to control the strength to the smallest amount possible. We have also worked out our strategy when chaos must play a part in our movement through the ley lines." Tarragon told the group as he began to look through his notes.
"Good is there anything else?" Mascara asked not wanting to let Herb or Jeekot know everything.
"Well not much just that we had a visit from Aker and Bastet." Niitmin said off handily as if it was an every day occurrence.
The only ones to respond to that news with surprise were Herb and Jeekot. The room tried hard to hide their smiles as the two warriors picked themselves up off the floor. The table waited for them to reseat themselves. Once everyone was settled again the Isis Warriors continued without commenting on the two guests' lapse of control.
"It seems Aker and Bastet will be paying us regular visits to get updates they prefer to come to us while we are at our private training sessions." Dolphin told the table with a mysterious grin.
"Well alright but please let them know they are welcome at the compound." Cologne said as she saw the smile, she looked around the table and saw all the elders did but the Phoenix and Musk prince missed it as they did not know Dolphin well enough.
Cologne decided to give Dolphin and the other Isis fighters a coded message that they were not to say any more about what the Egyptian gods said or wanted. She saw all of them nod slightly. Cologne looked directly at the Musk and Phoenix members and saw they agreed. She smiled as their first loyalty was to Isis as it should be.
"Anything else we need to know?" Sapphire asked as she looked up from reading over Hayashi and Nodoka's shoulders as they sat next to each other.
"Well not much except when Mr. Tabbs surprises Aker he jumps at him as a saber-tooth he can knock Aker poppa on his back in that form." The room explodes with laughter as the cat sat in Kalya's lap licking her plate clean.
"How can that flea bag do that what he weighs ten fifteen pounds at the most?" Herb said as he looked at the pudgy tabby not seeing the warning Jeekot was trying to give him.
"He is not a flea bag and is a gift from Bastet so watch your arrogant mouth!" It was not Kalya but the two Musk members of the Isis team that growled at their prince.
Herb and Jeekot stared as all the Isis Warriors glowed black! They did not feel the two Jusendo valley residents needed to know the story behind the cat but the Amazons knew and even those that did not care for Kalya did care for the cat. They did not tell the cat's secret either figuring outsiders would find out eventually. Then Herb grew angry as he slammed his fist on the table and jumped to his feet. His chair flew back a few feet behind him.
"YOU ARE MY WARRIORS AND WILL SHOW ME THE RESPECT I AM DUE AS YOUR PRINCE!" Herb lunged for Sage and Tarragon only to be stopped by a saber-tooth tiger on the table in front of them it eyes glowed black with rage.
"I would sit down if I were you Prince Herb. Mr. Tabbs not only protects me he protects us all." Kalya said as she stood and petted the back of the large animal.
"Prince Herb when we were accepted by Isis to be her generals our loyalties had to change. You were our prince but now we are first and foremost the chosen of the goddess Isis. We have talked about this and I fear you and Saffron's hopes to use those of us, as breeding stock will find it difficult. We plan to remain here as we know our battle with Seth will not be the last battle she calls us too." Niitmin spoke for the four warriors under the other valley residence.
"You can't do that Niitmin have you talked to Saffron!?" Jeekot said with a scowl.
"We have when he came here to give Meran permission to wed her soul mate. We want that same opportunity. We will come to Saffron's defense just as Sage and Tarragon will come to yours. We will not however stay there. Any attempt to imprison us will be met with retribution from the Egyptian Pantheon." Niitmin continued at the angry Musk and the general of Saffron.
"It is the same for us Prince Herb. Our Amazons first loyalty is to the Isis Warriors they fight with. They will come to our aid but they serve Isis first. We could not be more proud of them. We were a bit angry at first but we realized just as Saffron has I am sure. They are called to a higher calling. We also believe Niitmin is correct this will not be the only time that Isis will call upon her children to fight and save the world. As a warrior race we will be there to help them." Chiffon told the Musk and Phoenix.
"You do not presume as to what is in the mind of Lord Saffron!" Jeekot said as he snarled at the unaffected Chiffon.
"OW!" Jeekot leaned back as Chiffon whacked him on the top of his head with her staff.
"I don't presume young man! I know!" Chiffon snarled back at the Phoenix general.
"YOU LIE! OW! STOP DOING THAT!" Jeekot snapped at Chiffon.
"She is not lying, General Jeekot, Saffron had talked to the elders before he came here to give his permission for Meran and Sage to marry. The council notified us of that fact." Snow Pea said an angry scowl on her face to match his.
"We also know your orders when you arrived which did not include forcing Meran back home and you taking over the control of the warriors. Now enough of this, Kalya did they have any information for us?" Snow Pea asked as she turned to her adopted daughter.
"They told us our last attack where General Jeekot joined the battle set Seth back a bit. Though because he was able to reach the Nexus at the school he can come back to it. The fact we have removed some of his tampering with the ley lines have limited him to where he may enter. It seems in our efforts to repair what he did worked for us in forcing him here." Kalya explained as she smiled at the elders.
"They said they would have Kali and Rajha look into Isis' more obscure books to see if they can find if the passage I found has more to it. With the addition of the tomes from Prince Herb we may just be able to take the war to him." Ryoga stated with an evil grin.
"So since he made it to the nexus even though he could not come out he locked himself to it and made a corridor to his location?" Herb asked as the topic just got more interesting.
"Yes they believe so. They also felt if we could go after Seth instead of his coming out here there would be very minimal of life lost." Kalya hung her head sadly.
"They predict causalities here anyway?" Frosta asked as she finally gave up trying to get Ryoga to notice her presence.
"Yes but much less. If we can go through to Seth's domain there will be a backlash here though not as bad as Seth coming through. The one thing we need the librarians to look for is a spell that we can use to contain the backlash to the schoolyard. We can get the government to keep the school closed and off limits to all but us." Ric said as he looked up from his notes.
"Alright dear, Shen I shall look for the spell or spells they will need your help with the transcribing of Prince Herb's gift to the library. If I need help I will get you to help me. Will that be alright?" Snow Pea asked then remembering Isis gave Shen the lead since he is her chosen librarian.
"Yes Snow Pea I was about to suggest that myself. I will go between you and the others. I can check the other tomes and such if you guys need clarification." Shen stated as he smiled at Snow Pea under the watchful eyes of Kalya.
"Alright let's get back across the street there is still a party going on." Cologne said as she and the other elders rose.
"Alright mother." Kalya said with a warm smile.
The group left the apartment building. Frosta seemed a bit dejected all the generals felt it. They then turned and glared at Ryoga as he hung his head. He liked Frosta a lot but he also liked Tendo Akane. The problem was he liked her because she was nice to him. He really had more feelings for Frosta. Once they got outside Ryoga grinned mischievously and snuck up behind Frosta. He grabbed her around her waist and took off toward the park. The other generals and Kalya watched with smiles.
The elders watched happily as well knowing another of their tribe had landed an Isis generals. Herb though was angry she and Kalya were to be his wives. As prince of the Musk he could have as many wives as he chose and his first two were to be them! He started to take off after them. A wall of Isis warriors stopped him as they glowed black. He glared at them but turned and flew back to the compound. He would woo the girl, and then go after Kalya.
