Crossover Alternate

(Dani: Legend is listed in Profile. My profile is also where I will address specific questions or issues that readers ask about.
I do not own many of the Characters in this story though some are mine all the KNOWN characters belong to those who originally created them. Thxs.)
Please also NOTE I write Alternate Universe (AU) stories whether they are crossover or not. The AU applies to ALL characters. Thus this will make them OOC to the original Story and I like it that way. So if you plan to comment that Akane is not like that sorry I write her like I like to. This goes for all the characters it makes the story more fun for me to write that way. Got to have some antagonist and some friends :D)
Chapter Thirteen
The warriors reached the school campus they quickly moved inside once the last of the fighters were inside they split into two teams. First, the gate and shield was strengthened and resealed to prevent anyone from seeing inside or getting inside. Though the Morboka clan would be here, later Morboka-san would be able to open the gate to allow his clan in. The small sample of his blood would see to that, which they used in the sealing spell. The contingent going into the Nexus moved toward the farthest goal post. The warriors that were to stay and fight any minions sent to earth encircled the warriors as they prepared the spell to seal the Nexus in a shield along with Sara, Cinnamon, Thyme, and Saamin. Once that spell was in place all was needed was for one of those staying behind to utter the last phrase to turn on the shield. The next step was the spell to allow them to enter the Nexus and Seth's compound.
Ebon, Ryoga, Sage, and Sara cast the Druid spell they needed. They were the strongest. The Nexus began to shimmer into existence and when it glowed brightly, the battle began as the over sixty warriors went through the Nexus. When the warriors were halfway through their circle of fighters were called away as Seth's army attacked. The outer rows held off the hybrid fighters while the inner rows protected the group going into the Nexus. When the last warrior vanished, Sara uttered the final phrase of the spell. As the shield covered the four inside with the protection of the magical barrier, their protectors turned and joined the battle at hand.
Trapped inside the protective dome the audience of four watched as the battle started. They feared for their fellow warriors and wanted to fight with them. They however had to protect the Nexus and Sara. The battle did not start slow as the minions of Seth came from the trees weapons drawn and the bloodlust for battle glowing in their eyes. They fought for their king and would see him rule this puny planet. They felt they would destroy all that stood against them as the Isis warriors had split up their warriors making them weaker. They did not know the training they had all gone through which made them almost ten times stronger then they were fifty years ago.
The start of the battle was bloody as the outer ring of warriors protecting the Nexus and the warriors entering it. The warriors ran toward the hybrid warriors their weapons drawn and glowing deep red some were black. The lead Amazons drew the first blood as they slashed with their chi-enhanced weapons. They slashed the enemy across the chest their screams of pain filled the courtyard. Some Isis fighters were not as nice those at the battle fifty years before took off their opponents' heads.
When some of the evil warriors took to the sky the Phoenix and some of the Amazons that flew, met them. The Amazons fought to protect the ground warriors as the Phoenix did aerial battles with the minions that flew. The battle had begun and as Sara and her protectors watched, it looked to be a long and bloody battle. The four ensconced in the dome hoped that it would be the earth warriors that were the winners again.

The guards placed around Jusenkyo waited. They were eager to fight again against Seth. There were ten each of Amazon, Musk, and Phoenix warriors to fight the first wave. They got their wish at the exact moment their Japanese based warriors entered the Nexus Seth sent warriors to the school and Jusenkyo. The guards all shot chi blasts into the air and began their battle to save their home. They just had to hold on until the others showed up. The Phoenix was the first to arrive. With the air support, they were able to hold their positions until the Musk warrior stormed into the valley. Though the Isis Warriors tried, they could not teach the Musk to use their chi to fly. However, some did learn. The Amazons on the other hand flew into the valley glowing weapons drawn and ready for their right to live in safety in their valley.
Thus, the battle began on two continents to save the earth. The fighters charged into the fray the guards were fighting. The Musk pushed through like a freight train. The minions that flew took to the sky after the warriors from mount Phoenix. The warriors in the ground battled the minions that fighters on the ground. The surge of hybrids seemed endless as they fought. It did not take long for the Jusendo Valley to run red with blood as it did fifty years ago. No one noticed as the blood of the dead and dying slowly moved toward the springs of Jusenkyo. No one noticed as the first stream of blood entered a pool that it started to bubble as if enraged. Other pools soon followed it as the growing pools of blood entered the springs.

The warriors moved deeper into the Nexus they noticed that inside the Nexus the sky was a dark kaleidoscope of colors over a white sandy ground with black rocks and mountains. This was not Seth's exile he had escaped that using the ley lines but he could not yet escape the Nexus. The warriors that followed Isis' warriors planned to see that he either returned to his exile or died here in the Nexus. Though, pretty much all the Jusendo residents want him to die in the Nexus.
The Phoenix warriors flew above the ground troops though they flew under the Umi-Sen-Ken since they were easy targets. They were looking for an ambush. As they flew, some Amazons flew with them. Suddenly Cognac became visible as she swooped down and flew next to the elders. She gave her report then flew back up to continue searching for the armies of Seth. They moved more quickly deeper into a valley surrounded by high onyx cliffs. The Phoenix and Amazons flew reconnaissance. As they moved quickly through the gully, the few flying would swoop down low over the cliffs in search of hidden attackers in the crevices or caves. The flying brigade stopped as they signaled those on the ground to halt as well. They decided they needed to see what their airborne spies found.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Kalya frowned there should be guards or warriors ready to ambush them. She looked around and saw on the faces of the elders and Happosai they felt the same. Prince Herb and Jeekot were also finding this strange. So they slowly moved farther inward where they should meet resistance there was none. They now knew something was wrong and they gave the signal to spread out. They sent as many warriors as they could out of the valley they were traversing. A third of each group broke from the main fighting force. The group following Jeekot went to the right over the mountains all under the Umi-Sen-Ken. As Prince Herb, took the other third of warriors with him. He moved them to the left also under the Saotome secret technique. The two groups would follow the same path just not with the Isis Warriors and they would circle around Seth's strong hold so they could attack on three sides instead of one. This also prevented them getting wiped out.
(l(l(l)l)l)
"What is going on why are there no guards?" Kalya asked the elders, Jeekot and Herb.
"I am not sure but I might have a hypothesis. What if Seth did not believe we would make it into the Nexus? What if he does not know about the alliance with the Druids?" Jeekot asked showing his process as a general and strategists.
"That makes sense. He knows we are waiting for him at Jusendo and Nerima but we never advertised the addition of the Druids. He might not even know about the elf and her special gifts." Snow Pea said as she stared sideways at Jeekot with longing.
"That is possible, ok so we have the element of surprise for us. Ok Jeekot you take a third of the combined warriors and go right. Prince Herb you take a third of the the combined warriors and go left. We will surround his stronghold and when we attack we will do it on three sides." Kalya started as she tried to work out a plan.
"Don't forget once you have settled send back a messenger that you are in position and we will let you know where we are at that moment." Ryoga put in as he took up the instructions.
"Also let us know what you see and any weaknesses that you feel we might exploit." Dolphin told the two leaders as they nodded.
"We will do the same when we get into position." Shen put in as he looked at the confused Kalya.
"What about a signal for when we attack?" Herb asked not wanting to jump the gun before the others were in place.
"The Isis generals and I will use our Isis magic and create the symbol of Isis over Seth's citadel. It will really piss him off!" Kalya said as she smiled evilly.
"Kalya! Your language please!" Nodoka scolded but her showed she did not mean it.
"Alright let's go Price Herb we have a war to win!" Jeekot told them his confidence genuine as the two leaders flew off to gather their troops.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Jeekot took his troops and moved quickly from the main line of warriors. They had discussed this stratagem during the meetings with those back in Jusendo Valley. Though he and Prince Herb felt an Isis Warrior should go with each of them it was for different reasons. The majority felt the Isis Warriors should stay together. Just to throw off Seth. When they attacked and Seth did not see all of Isis' Generals he would know they had spilt up and would send out an ambush for the other two groups.
Jeekot was just happy to be able to show his prowess as a leader. During his time he had learned to let go of his arrogance especially after he heard some of the Amazon Warriors talk about what happened to Elder Cologne's great great granddaughter. He shuddered slightly but kept his mind on what they were doing. They moved to the northeast of the main fighting line. He frowned, as there was still no guards or warriors laying in wait for them. Once he reached his location, he sent a flyer back to the main line to tell them they found no resistance and were ready. He also told them as of yet he and his soldiers saw no weaknesses but he was still looking.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Prince Herb and his group of warriors moved quickly to the northwest corner if you will of their target. As they moved through the landscape they unlike their counterparts found where all the warriors were. As they passed the stronghold of Seth to get where they were to be he spotted Seth sending lines of warriors through two portals. He could not see it but he felt the shield around his citadel and that he hoped they would be able to break through to destroy them. His eyes grew as the rest of his troops settled in to be ready to attack.
Herb pulled out a notebook and began to write down everything he saw and sensed with his ki sense. He sent three warriors forward to get more information. As they like all the warriors were now, invisible he had no fear they would be spotted. They returned an hour later. They all handed him some papers. He read them quickly and using the speedwriting, he put them in his journal, then sent them back into the ranks and called a flyer to him. He handed her the sheets and sent her back to the Isis Warriors. They kept a watch on Seth and hoped the others would arrive soon. Or earth might fall to the minions going through the portals.
(l(l(l)l)l)
The main line of fighters moved up the valley they moved quickly to reach Seth's stronghold in the nexus. They called a stop to their movements as the messengers arrived from Jeekot and Herb. They made the messengers wait, as there were no guards. The consensus with the Isis Generals was Seth wanted to get as many of his warriors through to the earth.
"Look he is not worried I think Jeekot was correct Seth feels safe here as he doesn't think we can get into the nexus." Nodoka said as she watched as hybrid warriors entered the portals.
"You may be right alright let's have them wait until night fall. Our fighters can hold them for that long. This will give us a chance to get to Seth, spread our warriors out, and surround him." Snow Pea told the other elders and Isis Generals.
"Alright then that sounds good add that to the end of the missive then tell Jeekot and Herb to send a messenger once they have spread out around Seth's compound. Also send Jeekot's report to Herb and Herb's to Jeekot so they have all the intelligence they need." Kalya told the elders as they wrote furiously.
The elders returned their reply to each messenger and sent them back to the leader of their group of warriors. Once, the messengers had faded under the Umi-Sen-Ken Kalya called for movement to start again. They sped up since they did not have to worry about an ambush but they kept their senses and reconnaissance by their fastest flyers. They moved through the mountains and tried to stay out of the valley. Though the Umi-Sen-Ken prevented them from being seen that did not mean Seth could not sense them. As they drew nearer to their assigned locations, the leaders were curious about what Herb and Jeekot told them.
(l(l(l)l)l)
The elders and Isis Generals rose slowly just above the cliffs they figured the few flyers they had would not be noticed since they also flew under the Umi-Sen-Ken. They saw what stopped their progression. It was a large black marble citadel with a gold Ankh on the roof. This confused the warriors they thought Seth was free of his exile and trapped in the Nexus. Then it dawned on them he magically moved his citadel into the Nexus. It was now apparent if they did not stop him, he could use the access of the Nexus to protect him while he destroyed earth. They stared for a moment then moved onto both sides of the cliffs. They took cover as they saw as different groups of warriors disappeared into two different vortexes.
"What do you suppose they are doing?" Snow Pea asked Kalya.
"I believe they may know we are here so Seth is probably doing as we guessed one set of soldiers to Jusendo Valley one to Furinkan High." Kalya told her as they moved through the cliffs to get into position for the battle they dreaded but knew must be fought.
"How are we to get to the portals Kalya as long as the shield covers the whole citadel...!" Happosai asked as he opened his sense to the defenses of the evil god.
"I am not sure but we might be able to breach it with Neko claws but it would take to long and he could get more warriors to earth before we get in." Kalya told him and the others around her.
"Then we need to get him to shrink the force shield to around him alone." Mousse spoke softly as he stared at the citadel and his target.
"How it has to be something a majority of the warriors can do and we can do it as a team." Hayashi commented as he scowled at the minions of Seth disappearing to earth.
Cologne summoned two warriors with a missive for Jeekot and Herb. It told them they were in position. That the battle would start in one hour. She continued with a way to force Seth to pull back his shield to just around him in order to get at the portals. She also told them to watch for the signal, which was the symbol of Isis over Seth's citadel. The Isis warriors had been practicing on making it. They felt it was a nice touch. Cologne smiled as she handed the missives and watched as they vanished.
The Isis warriors moved closer to the edge of the cliffs. When the elders notified it was time, they stood up and sent a blast of their Isis magic over Seth's citadel. The magic collided and formed a perfect Isis medallion over the Ankh that sat on the roof. The roar from within the citadel told them they made him mad. They smiled evilly as the charge was sounded and they battle started.
(l(l(l)l)l)
"THIS WORLD WILL BE MINE!" Seth's scream filled the valley of the Nexus.
Seth screamed as he sent a hidden fighting force out to attack the warriors of earth. They were surprised but not too much. He wanted to get his warriors on earth but he would have kept some back to fight to protect him. What caused his anger to grow was when instead of one attacking line of warriors, there were three and they had him surrounded. He started firing blasts of energy at the fliers of the earth warrior. He wanted the air to destroy them all. That was until he found they moved to fast and grew in numbers. What really angered him were the blasts of energy coming back at him and they were more powerful as the warriors combined their shots as one.
The Isis generals swooped down and began to mow through Seth's minions. As they tried to make a path for their two secret weapons to get to the portals. It was not easy, as one minion fell two more appeared to take his place. The battle was grueling as they fought to stop Seth. They were glad his arrogance in not setting up sentries allowed them to surround the citadel. The battle felt like it was going in slow motion but they needed to access the portals. They had to find a way to get Seth to drop his shields. Kalya knew the Neko-claws should work but it would take to much time as he could repair the dome faster then they could rip through it.
Kalya decided it was taking to long to get through the wall of Seth's warriors. She stared at the citadel looking for a weak link that would get her and Happosai in position. There was none so she decided since he wanted to destroy her home she would happily reciprocate the 'gift'. She took off before anyone could stop her. The warriors that tried to stop her gave up and went back to fighting the enemy. They then stopped as they spotted her fifteen-inch ki claws as they grew from her bent knuckles. They watched as from about thirty feet from the citadel she began to swipe at the walls. They all knew she could have attacked from fifty or more feet but she wanted to damage the building as well. As the ki claws ripped through the shield and into the black marble, they were startled by the scream of rage and pain from inside the citadel.
After Kalya's first swipe, the warriors turned at Seth's scream they wondered if he was behind the wall, she slashed at. That was until Kalya suddenly flew backwards as Seth's magical blast struck her in the middle of her chest. She flew back toward her warriors. It was Mousse and Ryoga that moved the fastest and sped out and grabbed ahold of her from under her arms. They then flew her back to the cliff where they could check her over and regroup. Minuet and Nodoka met them. Minuet placed some salve on the burn after quietly pulling away her satin top. After she was bandaged, Kalya pulled a cotton tang of dark burnt orange from stuff place and put it on quickly. Then burst from her mother and Minuet to continue fighting.
Snow Pea sounded the attack after Kalya was attacked. She and the warriors swarmed over the cliffs like a plague of locust. The guards of Seth surged to counter them as Seth continued to push his warriors going to earth to move faster. He felt the pain as each of the earth warriors hit the wall of his temple. He sent part of his reserves' to protect the citadel. As he, had to give of himself to get it to move to the Nexus. He relaxed as they had stopped many of the attackers he just hoped they gutted them. His request was fulfilled except it was his warriors not the earth warriors that were gutted.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Kalya slowly woke she found the worried faces of her mother and Minuet. As she tried to rise, the pain told her Seth got a hit against her. She laid, back down and softly mumbled as the two worried women watched as the spell healed her quickly. She looked at Minuet with a slight shrug then handed her the spell she had used. She looked down, saw the gaping hole in her satin kimono, and frowned, since the spell to protect her clothes failed. She pulled a cotton kimono top from storage space, removed the old one, and put it on. She then stuffed the old one into stuff space to check later why the spell failed.
"Magic is for serious wounds. I need to get going. Thanks!" Kalya said as she hugged Minuet and her mother then flew off before they could stop her.
Kalya flew to meet her generals followed closely by her mother and Minuet. When they rejoined the other Isis generals, it was time to get serious. Kalya and Happosai needed to get to those vortexes to stop the influx of Seth's minions. They flew toward the roof of the temple and began to persuade Seth to keep some of those warriors here. The generals began to combine their Isis powers with their elf, Druid, chi, and ki. The elders did not know how far along they had gotten with linking their emotions to their ki until that moment. They watched for a few moments but quickly returned to the fight. They found they could not use the chaos the Nexus gave them well not at full strength. They found if they put just a small amount in with their other powers, it allowed their attacks through the dome better to create a more painful damage to the citadel and his warriors.
As the combined, blasts from the Isis generals continued Kalya moved into position fading as she did. Happosai followed her as her warriors distracted the evil god. Kalya was not happy almost all of his warriors made it through the portals to earth. As they moved into position, they signaled the warriors to step up the attack. This was a black chi blast shaped like a cat. Seth stopped and looked up at the cat blast then quickly looked around looking for Aker or Sekhmet and relaxed when they were not found. That was until the screams of his warriors at the portals began. Seth turned and stared in shocked rage as the portals began to disappear. What frightened him was nearly twenty of his warriors still in the portals were trapped as the magical doorways were cut to ribbons.
As the portals, slowly fell to pieces Seth tried to move away from them and call his fighting warriors to him. The problem was they were in the heat of battle. He noticed that the earth warriors started moving back from their hand-to-hand fighting with his warriors and began to use more distance fighting. The chi blasts flew at his minions from the earth warriors keeping his soldiers near the disintegrating portals. His face filled with rage, as he could not get his fighters to follow him. Then the explosions came and there were forty or more of his warriors near the portals that were now gone at their destruction.

Akane decided to stay in town until her sister was out of ICU. She moved through the house her depression only over shadowed by her father's. She was glad he and Nabiki worked out what he had to now follow to stay in the house. She and Kasumi could not throw him out. She moved to the koi pond and sat down on a rock by the pond throwing in pellets of fish food and watching as the fish came innocently to the surface not knowing the world as they knew it might be at an end. Though she was not sure of that but if the battle had to be contained there had to be a devastating reason behind it. She jumped as a light hand landed on her shoulder. She turned and looked up into the worried face of Mrs. Konita.
"I was wondering if you would like to try and make the recipe in your cooking class. I talked with your teacher and explained about Nabiki and she agreed since I am a decent cook I can fill out reviews and send them to her and she will use those to judge your progress while you are here." Akane looked at first angry then elated she needed something to keep her busy and Mrs. Konita had just provided it.
The two headed into the kitchen under the nervous and watchful gaze of Soun. He relaxed since Mrs. Konita would not allow Akane to feed him anything dangerous. Well he hoped. Soun stared out the patio doors at the pond the image of his middle daughter floated there. The image of Nabiki with a gaping hole just below her heart scowled at him with anger. He closed his eyes and shook his head when he opened them again the image was no better. Instead of his daughter, his wife floated there and her rage was volcanic compared to what Nabiki's vision was. Soun rose and moved upstairs to his bedroom unable to take the guilt of what was happening to his family.
"This is all Ranma's fault he should be here protecting us!" He was unable to take blame for his own self as well.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Akane entered the clinic she smiled; as Sekuo was there, she looked much better than the night before. Sekuo came up and smiled at Akane. They went to the back kitchen and prepared to restock the snack table. They still had a continual influx of reporters along with the regular patients. Akane set down the shopping bags of cookies and cakes and prepared a platter she then pulled a small Tupperware container from the bag. It held homemade chocolate chunk cookies, which she put out. Sekuo stared nervously at them, as she knew about Akane's attempts at cooking.
"Mrs. Konita is helping with my cooking class at college while I am here. She works with me on the recipe then judges the outcome. She said I did really well and that I was paying better attention to what I was putting into my recipes." Akane said as she saw the fear in the girl's eyes.
Akane was angry this stranger had the audacity to judge her cookies, but before she became enraged she realized her, cooking was infamous in Nerima. She settled for explaining she made them under supervision. As she finished, she took the last cookie from the container. She stared at it for a moment then shrugged her shoulders and ate the cookie. Sekuo smiled nervously as Akane walked from the kitchenette munching on her cookie.
"Akane-Chan, how nice of you to visit!" Akane turned to see Kasumi exit an exam room.
"I went and got more tea bags and pastries. Mrs. Konita is helping with my cooking class I brought some of the cookies we made here. Want a bite?" Akane said as she held out a half-eaten cookie.
"I'd love one!" Kasumi at first was dubious then she saw as Sekuo had grabbed one of the cookies and began to eat it as she brought the platter out for the patients.
"UUUUMMM! That is good is this the recipe from your class?" Kasumi asked as she chewed happily.
"Yes, Mrs. Konita called my home economics teacher. While I am here helping and waiting for word on Nabiki she will help me do the course requirements. The teacher sent her a form to fill out for each class project and she will use that to judge my progress." Akane said as she finished her cookie then headed back into the supply cabinet to put away any supplies.
She found the stuff from the hospital was still in the boxes so she began to unpack them for her sister and brother-in-law. Akane stopped and realized she did not care Kasumi was married to Tofu. Well not any longer. She realized her behavior in trying to steal the only man her elder sister loved was wrong and stupid. He loved Kasumi and no one else. She finished unpacking the boxes then broke them down and headed out to the dumpster when Tofu stopped her.
"Don't throw those out little sister." Akane turned, she quirked an eyebrow at the good doctor.
"Sorry I was an only child and always wanted to have a baby sister to call that. You don't mind do you?" He asked as Akane smiled and shook her head no.
"You want to save the boxes?" She asked him as she held onto the flattened boxes.
"Yes Kasumi and I will be moving shortly. We are staying in Nerima but we want to get a larger building. We have been looking into apartment buildings. We thought three or four floors. I want four floors. This way we will have the first floor be for my practice since most of my patients are elderly. Kasumi's practice will be on the second floor after some remodeling and the last floor or two for our home." He went on happily as he told her as he took the boxes and put them into the landing going upstairs.
"I didn't think you were ready to move until she got closer to graduation." Akane asked as he led her to show her what to do to help Sekuo.
"Well yes but those are really thick so might as well keep them. It seems with all the books Kasumi had read she is flying through her courses. She also started taking what she needs to be a General Practitioner. So, we are hoping within the next two maybe three years at the most. I am also working on getting a pediatric license so I can help her when she needs it. We want to get the building now so while we finish up schooling we can remodel it for our needs." He told Akane his eyes alight with happiness.
"That is wonderful doc but don't forget about an x-ray lab and a lab for testing blood. Oh and maybe an elevator. Excuse me, I need to go restock Kasumi's room, and you got patients to see, big brother." Akane winked at him as she moved on with a giggle at his shocked expression.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Sekuo returned to the house across from Furinkan. She still had the keys. She entered and locked the door behind her. She slowly walked up the stairs to the second floor hallway. She then went up the attic stairs, which were still down. As she moved into the attic, she turned on the light and sighed. She wrapped her arms around herself as she stared at the ladder to the roof. She shuddered as images of that night came back to her. She pushed it away or she would not be able to go to the roof to gather Nabiki's and her stuff.
She moved up the ladder and onto the roof. She moved to where Nabiki was hurt and found their cameras still there only the video camera had stopped recording sense they were not there to change the memory sticks. She slowly moved to gather their things but stopped as she stared at the still drying pool of blood. She lowered herself to her knees and reached out toward the pool. She stopped, as she could not bring herself to touch it. She rose and gathered everything. She included Nabiki's laptop. She then put everything in her pink book bag that she had used that night. She then picked up Nabiki's book bag and laptop bag and headed back down closing the door to the roof and locking it tightly. As she went back, downstairs she shut the attic door and moved down to the front door. Once she stepped out onto the front porch, she locked the front door and slipped the key into her book bag. She would bring the key back to the owners when they came back.
Sekuo moved through the gate to the sidewalk outside. She turned to look down the street and saw the school the dome still in play and the police still there. She frowned, as those warriors must be fighting non-stop. She hoped they were up to the task as it looked like a battle of endurance as well as skill and protection. Sekuo headed home her shift done at the clinic. It was nice of Doctor Tofu to allow her to work there with him and his wife. They were filling out forms evaluating her knowledge and skill. That would go a long way to help her get into medical school. She might even change from nursing to being a doctor but she was not sure yet.

The remaining Amazons in the schoolyard charged at the half animal fighters of Seth. Their weapons of choice glowed brightly with their chi. The first wave of fighters stopped the hybrids from reaching the last group of Amazons still guarding Sara and the other three that were needed to protect the Nexus from Seth coming through. They had to hold back the minions of the chaos god until Sara, Cinnamon, Thyme, and Saamin got the shield up they heard the last phrase shouted by Sara. They however had not turned. They saw the bright rainbow of colored lights as they played across their opponents. They knew better then to turn it was drummed into them very painfully by Happosai and Kalya not to get distracted.
That happened what two maybe three days ago at least. The warriors had fought for almost that long but to them it felt longer. They were wounded though nothing serious and they were weakening. They needed time to rest but the oncoming hybrids were endless. The battle was brutal and up until now the Jusendo, warriors were winning. The campus ground oozed blood wherever anyone stepped. The Jusendo fighters needed to rest to heal but like fifty years ago they could not earth depended on them to stop the evil god from winning.
The Amazons fought both on the ground and an aerial battle to meet the flying hybrids that was hiding among the infantry of warriors. It was a steady stream of minion for over the last two or more days. Then the influx grew as Seth began forcing his warriors through to fight them. The warriors fought harder but they were weakening and the hybrids knew it. They knew they would win and once Seth came through he would removed the dome to allow them to surge into the surrounding area and destroy, torture, and terrorize the puny humans. They were not going to kill all of them they needed slaves to serve them and Seth.
The warriors' glowing weapons and Anything Goes training was what was keeping them going. They were able to cause considerable damage to the evil warriors and they could not heal the wounds made with their chi-enhanced weapons. They heard the gate *CLANG* then found Morboka Ninjas fighting with them. They also had glowing swords and chi enhanced throwing stars. This brought Ryoga's training back to many of them and they brought from stuff space, cloth strips, or squares. Some even picked up gravel and threw it at the hybrid warriors. It added to the damage they were causing.
That influx of aid helped the warriors a little as the Jusendo warriors could step back a little and try to quickly catch their breathes. It was however, not enough. The warriors had been fighting none stop for several days that included the ninjas as they had arrived the day after the battle had started. They were all filling the effects of the battle and were starting to make mistakes. These mistakes could cost them and their fellow warriors their lives and the lives of the entire world.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Sara watched her hand on her chest as the warriors fought to her a losing battle. The fighters were getting tired and many were injured but refused to stop. They had been at it for over a day and a half. She silently prayed to God for help for the fighters that were trying to save the world. When the *clang* reached her ears she looked up and smiled as the Morboka clan had arrived. She thanked God for answering her prayers then using the rings given them by Sekhmet, she fed Druid magic through all the rings still on earth. She healed and refreshed their warriors. At the surprise of her and her imprisoned helpers.
"I didn't know we could do that!?" Saamin said as he moved closer to Sara.
"I didn't either I was just thinking I wish I could heal and restore our fighters and the gift of the cat goddess started glowing on our fingers and theirs. I just wish I could affect them inside the Nexus the same way." Sara said as an image of her son ran through her mind.
"We might not be able to heal and refresh them but if we can contact them and let them know they can do it themselves. Here everyone put your hand with the Druid ring in the center on top of each other." Then the four placed their hands where the Druid rings were between them they laid, them on top of each other they then made sure the rings were touching.
"Oh I see good thinking Saamin! Ok now concentrate calmly so as not to startle those inside they may be in battle. Tell them what Sara did as she told us." Thyme told them as all thought what Sara had told them their eyes closed as they concentrated.
They did not see as they glowed softly in rainbow lights nor did they see as the glow sent tendrils not only into the Nexus but also to the fighting warriors in front of them. Their rings glowed and they understood why suddenly they were again cured and were feeling rested. They only hoped the message reached into the Nexus as those Amazons facing the goal post saw as the glowing tendrils entered the Nexus. They were also the only ones to see as the tendrils disappeared into the ley lines. The lines appeared for a few moments as they watched the rainbow tendril moved along it in the general direction of the Jusendo Valley.

The battle at Seth's Citadel had started the Isis warriors fighting airborne and land based battles. They were taking heavy causalities but they fought on. They came at the citadel from all sides as they tried to get a path to the portals for the Neko-Warriors to close them down. They had to fight and win against Seth. Kalya tried hard to get through the hybrid fighters she wanted Seth she wanted to stop him the most. He however stayed safely inside his citadel sending out his warriors to do battle for him. The only good thing was they had successfully blocked the portals from being used. They had locked a lot of his warriors in side. It however, would not last much longer as Seth tried to break the magic that held his warriors.
Seth knew he would win so he needed to stay safe after all when they won they would need a ruler that was alive to rule them. He watched the battle, each time a warrior of earth fell he laughed that was until soft rainbow tendrils began to encircle the earth warriors. The fighters of earth did not stop but continued to fight. Seth scowled as they were now healed and refreshed as if they had slept eight hours. The tendrils suddenly disappeared once all were back on their feet and charging the next waive of hybrid warriors.
The earth warriors knew what had happened. Ebon and Ryoga were the ones to keep them healed. They were the strongest but the elders wanted the task shared with the other Druid magic users almost as strong. They would alternate with them. Sage was one of them. This way none would become to weak. They surged forward and they fought a war of death. It had to be that way they had to stop Seth and they knew death would be the only way to do that. As they moved, closer to the citadel Seth had erected an energy wall around his citadel after sending his almost entire army out to fight. He was no longer laughing as the earth warriors now had a way to maintain their energy to fight. He kept his elite forces and his guards back with him.
Kalya watched as the shield was reformed and went back up. She smiled as an idea came to her. She saw as Sage was fighting with Happosai. She sent him a message to tell Happi it was time the Neko-Warriors stopped the use of the portals. She could feel the magic weakening. Seth's mistake was putting up the shield around his temple but not around the portals. Kalya saw as Happosai nodded they both faded from view as the other generals put an all out magical blitz on the shield closest to where Seth hid. The war had been waging for at least a week or nine days and they needed to end it soon as the refresh and healing magic won't last forever.
The scream of Seth made his warriors pause but not the earth warriors. It had been days of hard fighting. The elders believed the time inside the nexus was not linear and passed faster then outside. Some of the warriors of earth cheered as they watched as the portals that were left unprotected began to be sliced apart. They cheered even harder when Kalya and Happosai slowly rematerialized covered in a thick black aura the shape of cats. They did not have time to watch the destruction as Seth's warriors moved toward the two Neko-Warriors at the order of Seth.
"STOP THEM NOW!" Seth's shouted as many of his warriors stopped fighting and moved to stop Kalya and Happosai.
The hybrids however met a wall of resistance from Jusendo Valley. Land warriors charged the infantry of Seth while the aerial contingent took on Seth's fliers. The battle was fierce but it was Seth that paid the price. As the earth, warriors were continually healed while Seth did not want to waste his magic on his own fighters. He watched as the warriors of Isis slowly shredded his portals and the remaining warriors that had been trapped inside by the magic these fighters were using. As Kalya and Happosai made one last swipe, Seth's shout of anger filled the Nexus as the portals exploded taking with them his reinforcements.

Jasmine flew into a line of hybrid fighters her altered staff glowed it had three-foot blades on each end. It turned out many of the Amazon warriors and elders honored Ric's dead sensei and carried on his art. She used them to cut through the minions of Seth. She then moved up as a sword tried to slice through her back. The falcon headed man had instead cut off the head of one of his own warriors. The ancient elder flipped over in mid air and sliced through the attempted murderer's wings. He fell into the waiting arms of an enraged Jusenkyo. Jasmine knew Isis was helping them as those sent by Seth that fell in came out cursed permanently as deer, boars, rabbits, wild fowl, and farm animals. Those fighters of Jusendo Valley that fell in came out with no curses.
She moved on quickly as she had no time to contemplate the fact that none of the animals went far from Jusenkyo. It was as if they were pinned in and waiting to attack or just waiting to be taken into the villages. Jasmine headed toward Tang's glowing hut as a group of five of Seth's warriors tried to break through to the frightened man as he stared out the only window in his hut. A Phoenix warrior met jasmine and together they dispatched the hybrid warriors. On an unconscious level it seemed as they fought the valley's residence preferred to send Seth's warrior into Isis' grasp as they knew at the end each of them would end up with more animals to help them survive.

The warriors of Jusendo fought it was worse then last time as many of their warriors were fighting in Japan. Fifty years ago, it was only Jusendo Valley this time they had to fight in two places. They did not know how their brethren were doing, as they had no link to them at the valley. They did not have time to think on it as there was an unlimited supply of hybrid warriors coming at them. Well it felt like that many. The warriors had been at it for three days and they were tiring and fighting with wounds.
They had lost some of their warriors from the battle. They don't know if the warriors had died yet or not Mulon would not let anyone know. The fighting warriors heard cheering from Tang's as he cheered the Jusendo Valley residents on. It had worked the warriors perked up at the encouragement and caught a second and in some cases a third and fourth wind. As the Jusendo warriors charged they yelled Isis and Tang's name!
(l(l(l)l)l)
Tang hid in his shack not understanding why he was still alive. He had seen the start of the battle and moved to head into his root cellar he heard as someone or something hit the door and only window of his hut. He turned fearing his life was over. There was no one there. He moved to his window and looked out. He stared shocked, as there was a golden light over his window. As best as he could tell, it was over his whole hut. He watched as bodies bounced off the golden light and back into battle or a spring. He jumped when three of Seth's warriors appeared in his window and tried to get to him. He heard as there was something trying to get through the dome at his door.
He ducked as one of Seth's minions used his broad sword and tried to cut through the golden dome. It was stopped as the golden light darkened. Tang then saw as Jasmine and a Phoenix warrior came to his rescue. They fought the warriors at the window first. Tang noticed, as they seemed to throw them into the springs. At the sound of battle, the others trying to get in through his door came around the side of his hut. They however did not have much of a chance as Jasmine and the Phoenix warrior was waiting under a cloak of invisibility. When two Jusendo valley residences reappeared, the hybrids had taken a much-needed swim in a nearby spring.
He knew the curses the Seth warriors were getting were not the current curses in the springs they were knocked into. The elders had told him that Isis was controlling the springs until the war was over. He did not understand how she was doing it. He was just glad she took control for the valley's sake. He knew it was she protecting him in his hut. He watched as the battle raged. The Jusendo valley fighters were tiring. They had been fighting for almost three days and there was no relief. Tang would shout out his window and cheer on those of the valley. He noticed when he did that his friends had a new surge of energy. He watched stunned as rainbow of tendrils came from nowhere. The light flowed in and around the Jusendo valley warriors as they continued to fight. When the tendrils vanished, the Jusendo fighters were rested and healed. At a shout Tang, looked up and saw as the wounded warriors that were removed from battle came back into the valley to fight again. Tang shouted encouragement and cheers of joy. He turned suddenly and ducked below his window so he could still look out. He watched as a shadow flew over his hut the shout from above drew his attention. He stared with shock at the sight that flew into battle.
'WARRIOR FIGHT ON WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS!" Tang stared and nearly collapsed as Saffron had joined the battle beside him was Kiima and she was not happy.
Tang watched as Saffron and Kiima entered the battle, behind him was a large number of Phoenix warriors and royal guards. It seemed Saffron wanted in this battle this time and nothing Kiima could say or do would persuade him to stay at Phoenix Mountain. Tang watched awe struck as plumbs of fire were shot from his hands taking out long lines of hybrid fighters. Tang stared at the burning masses of flesh the stench made him sick. They however never knew what hit them as the flame turned them to ash quickly. He frowned as a large number of hybrid warriors streamed in from the woods to take the place of the fallen.
The other Jusendo Valley residents moved in and out of the groups of Seth's warriors it was evident they were frightened. With just the regular warriors, there was a chance to escape and return to fight again, but with the advent of Lord Saffron, their ability to return to Seth dropped to zero. The Amazons also had a few new tricks and used them as well. The Anything Goes School was elemental based techniques. They had decided to hold off using their Anything Goes, as they did not have the stamina to use them frequently. The elders did but unless warriors had strong reserves, they held back until Lord Saffron came to help. They started throwing Happo Danken bombs and with the help of Kalya, they learned to do streams of fire with their ki and chi. Several of the Amazons threw some of their bombs at a line of Seth's warriors they paused and watched as they flew in different directions most of which landed in the springs. The Amazons then moved on to fight others. The Jusendo warriors just made sure that the hybrids understood they were not going back to Seth. They were moving on to nothingness or farms.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Saffron stood on his balcony he stared out toward Jusenkyo his face a mask of rage. He turned at the ruffle of feathers behind him. He glared down at his captain of the guard and personal assistant. Kiima stepped back at the rage in her Lord's face that he was directing at her.
"My liege you need to come in! You are a target if you stay out here!" Kiima told him as she tried to do her job in keeping the Phoenix King safe.
"I am a warrior King Kiima I will not hide here like a coward. My people fight to save our way of life and home and you hold me to my thrown room like a captive." Saffron snarled as his dreams over the last two nights flashed through his mind as he turned back toward Jusenkyo.
"But majesty if you die...!" Kiima started but was cut off as he whirled on her in rage.
"Then I am reborn! The goddess Isis would protect me until my rebirth and protect my people as well!" Saffron snarled with intense anger.
*SIGH* Kiima I have been having disturbing dreams the last few nights. If I do not fight in this battle I am not worthy to be king." Kiima stared in shock as she saw as her king's shoulders slumped and a greenish yellow glow appeared around him.
"You are our king Lord Saffron we will have no other!" Kiima told him but he shook his head.
"At what cost Kiima I stay safely in my palace while my people die! You cost me the right to protect my people and though you won't admit it they do not believe in my divine right to be their king." Saffron's sickly aura darkened.
"We like the others of this valley are a warrior race! The leaders of the Musk and Amazons are fighting to safe their homes they have even gone into a nexus to fight Seth face to face. While I sit in my thrown room being coddled by 'you'. How can I except my people to follow my rule if I refuse to fight with them because my advisor won't let me!" Saffron told Kiima as he glared at her.
"You will gather the royal guard and any fighters that are still here I don't care why they are here! They will join me we are going to battle!" Saffron spoke with determination and anger at Kiima as he saw her start to open her mouth.
"DO IT NOW WOMAN!" Saffron pushed past her and into his thrown room. He moved to the gong and began to hit it.
*BONG...BONG...BONG*! The room began to fill with the remaining Phoenix at Saffron's palace.
"Prepare yourselves we go to fight at Jusenkyo NOW! I leave in five minutes!" Saffron told them then glared at Kiima to contradict him.
"HHHHOOOOOORRRRAAAAYYYYY! WE WILL FIGHT FOR THE GLORY OF OUR PEOPLE AND KING!" Kiima's shoulders slumped, as he was right.
In less then five minutes the royal guards and remaining warriors took flight from the balconies all over Phoenix Mount. King Saffron led his remaining fighters to Jusenkyo and the battle for the safety of their king and home. Kiima glared at the back of her king and at those around her. She felt they had put her ruler in danger. They however did not care what she thought! They were just happy their king had finally chosen to fight with his people! As well as not let her stop him any longer from being the warrior king he was meant to be.

The battle continued for days the Jusendo warriors were getting tired. They needed a respite but could not take a chance and leave the battle. When they were getting to weak to fight the battlefield suddenly came alive with glowed a rainbow color tendrils. They just suddenly appeared yet there was a gentle voice telling them that the tendrils only surrounded those of Jusendo valley. Seth's warriors were shocked as they watched as the tendrils surrounded the Jusendo fighters. They however were fighting Anything Goes Warriors and they ignored the tendrils and attacked the minions of Seth while they were distracted. As the valley's defenders, were covered in colored lights. Many of the warriors of the evil god fell during that momentary lapse of battle protocol. Those that did not die, fell into the Isis controlled springs.
As the battle waged on the signal from the elders finally came. They had kept their most deadly of their techniques for the final surge as they took a lot of energy. They held back to see how long the battle would wage on. Even with Lord Saffron, it lasted days. Their warriors were tiring as were the other tribes. They were thankful for the intervention of the Druid rings that refreshed and healed them. They also knew they could not keep going on magical refreshing forever. They had hoped the tide of evil warriors would stop but so far, nothing. It had not. So now was time to try and finish the hybrid warriors. All tribes decided on the signal and as soon as it was given, the warriors of Seth fell to the Yami-Sen-Ken.
They had caused significant damage to the influx of warriors but it was not enough. The Amazons and sage warriors that had Druid magic used the rings to refresh the warriors so they could again use the Yami-Sen-Ken. They prepared to use the rings again when the ground under their feet began to rumble and shake. The Amazons floated above Jusenkyo while the Musk just continued to fight. As they were, use to such disruptive fighting grounds. The elders looked around while the Phoenix warriors guarded them and Saffron as he joined the elders.
"Look there!" Saffron told the elders as he pointed just three yards inside the tree line across from Jusenkyo. There was a large glowing portal.
Saffron and the elders moved toward the portal to destroy it when they noticed as it began to shred away. The elders smiled as Kalya and Happosai were finally able to get to the portals. As the portal, grew smaller Lotus signaled to get back. As they flew back to Jusenkyo, the portal exploded sending all but Saffron somersaulting into the valley. The elders quickly righted themselves as the enemy tried to impale them. The musk warriors who were used to fighting in this type of terrain shot blasts as Seth's minion that tried to kill the elders. The blasts did not kill the minions but sent them into the springs.
The final battle at Jusendo ensued as the warriors charged the last of the hybrids. They knew their battle was almost done since the portal could send no more warriors to fight. That did not mean that Seth could not create a new portal but the Isis Warriors would not allow that. The battle went on though there were not as many hybrids it was still long and arduous.
Saffron watched for a moment then smiled evilly. Instead of destroying them as he did when he first arrived, he decided to fight as his warriors fought. He wanted to show he knew how to wield a sword as well as shoot powerful fire blasts. He pulled a beautiful six-foot double-edged sword from subspace. The blade was six inches at the hilt and narrowed to a sharp pointed tip of two inches wide. There was an etched design of a red Phoenix with its wings spread out to the side. It started at the hilt and looked to be colored with crushed rubies. The hilt was ten inches wide, was gold, and was an open weave lattice work.
Saffron charged at a group of five hybrids that had surrounded two lone warriors. One was a Musk the other a Phoenix. He smiled as his soldier refused to abandon his partner and the Musk refused to quit fighting. Saffron swooped in and with two swipes of his sword took out two of the five minions. He saluted the two Jusendo warriors and moved on. He knew the Musk would feel slighted that he interfered if he took out any more. This way he took out two and that left them the ability to fight the last three on there own.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Spray and Thorn flew side by side, as they looked for where they could do the most good. They turned at a movement and saw as thirty hybrids charged from the line of trees where the portal was destroyed. They feared Seth had set up a new portal. When they opened their senses, they found no magic signature of the evil god. They turned and flew straight at the last of Seth's army in Jusendo.
"They must have been hiding waiting until they were needed. The elders frowned as they realized the hybrid warriors were not very good at strategizing. They would have held back the last thirty to wait until the battle was over then sneak into the villages and keep the tribes apart. They just shrugged and pulled their new adapted staffs and attacked with glowing blades.
(l(l(l)l)l)
A small group of Amazons and Musk heard the war cry of Amazon elders. They turned and saw as Spray and Thorn as they charged another thirty hybrid warriors. They did not bother to think about where they came form or how they got there since the portal was destroyed. They just smiled evilly as they got the chance to fight more of the enemy and send a message to Seth that Jusendo Valley was not his!
The group of three Amazons and two Musk warriors charged the thirty warriors. They and the two elders fought the new additions. The seven warriors with glowing weapons fought as if their lives depended on them winning. The problem was that it did. The seven warriors fought with such rage and brutality as the hybrids either fell to the Jusendo fighters' chi enhanced weapons or to Isis in Jusenkyo. The seven fighters were able to plow through the thirty warriors before anyone else knew they were there. As the last hybrid hit the water of a blood filled spring they turned to look for more warriors to fight and found none. The elders turned to see as the Jusendo warriors turned and moved toward the springs and their fellow fighters on the strip of land between the spring and the woods.
(l(l(l)l)l)
The fighters for earth collected on the land between the trees and springs. They stared at the springs and noticed now the bubbling and bloody water of the springs. An Amazon moved toward one of the closer springs but was stopped by a strong but gentle hand on her shoulder. She looked up and behind her and saw Lord Saffron holding her in place. His mouth in a tight frown as he glared at the springs.
"No young warrior! Now is not the time to give into your curiosity." The Amazon heard and felt the sadness of the ruler of the Phoenix warriors.
They turned when the golden light they had gotten use to vanished from around Tang's hut. The frightened guide slowly came out of his home. He looked from left to right, up and down waiting for more warriors but none came. He stepped from his home and moved slowly toward the combined tribes of Jusendo valley a smile on his face. He then saw as Saffron smiled broadly at him. He also saw the smile did not reach his eyes as they were filled with sadness, rage, and pain.
"Come Tang all is well. Isis would not have released you if there were any danger." The bird king's voice boomed loudly.
"Do you think any more will arrive later?" Tang asked him as he shuddered at the carnage, the anger, and rage he felt from the springs.
"We don't know Tang. We will leave warriors on guard here just in case. I think though our warriors fighting Seth in his exile have cut off his ability to send them through...at the moment!" Lotus said as she laid a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Is there anyway to contact them?" The Musk general came up and asked the elders.
"No Truffle not until they return to the compound. Those of our warriors that were not selected to go with them remained in the school campus to do as we just did fight Seth's attempt to cause pain and destruction. I believe that Nodoka's sister clan Morboka I think was the name are fighting with them. They are ninja and taught all the warriors." Marjoram explained to the leaders of the other two tribes.
Truffle stood five feet nine inches tall he was very muscular. He had shoulder length sapphire blue (Dani: Yes sapphires come in every color but red. When they are red they are rubies) hair that he let hang freely. His face was triangular and hard. He had dark ginger colored eyes that were stern and betrayed his anger at fighting with the other tribes he however held his tongue. His large eyes sat on either side of a long thin nose that ended over a pair of thin lips. He wore a gray dear skin tunic that had a belt and scabbard at his waist. He also wore dark brown deerskin pants that tied at his ankles and ended over a pair of matching battle slippers.
"Should we not go aid them?" The Phoenix general asked the elders.
"It would do no good the campus they had spoken of is under a magical dome to protect the innocent as they fight. We could not get in to join the battle." Saffron spoke as his people in Japan kept him inform as best they could.
"That is correct Lord Saffron. Though we would love to go to fight, we can't leave the valley undefended. Seth may be able to release more of his warriors on our world and we are needed to stop them." Jasmine said as Saffron nodded his assent.
The guards were set five from each tribe. Then they all returned to their villages. Since they were all in battle, there was no need to convene in the council chambers of the elders. All the warriors took this time to gain their strength and rest. The guards at Jusenkyo took turns only five at a time so there would always be ten on duty. Tang had returned to his hut. He came back a few moments later. He fed the guards and gave them tea. He smiled as he led his gifts from the tribes as they had given him some of the animals. He tied them up and began to make a pen to house them.

The battle raged but no one could see. The sounds of battle though could be heard. The police and reporters listened closely trying to figure out what was happening. Many reporters gave up trying to sneak in from a different side of the campus. The increase police patrol was one reason. The main reason was the electrical bolts the shield sent to those who would not take the hint. The reporters all vied for a spot behind the police barrier to get a good shot of the gates. They missed getting pictures when the clan of ninjas entered the compound. They were not going to do that again.
"Officer! Have you heard how the young woman injured when the ninjas entered is doing?" A reporter moved as close to the officer as she could get.
Her long blonde hair was blowing in a slight breeze. Her dark blue eyes were set in beautiful heart shaped face that had not obscured a conniving nature. She stepped back when the officer turned and glared at her. She quickly dug in her heels and moved closer she would not let his officer keep her from what she wanted.
The young officer turned to face the reporter. He was the one that Akane had met the night Nabiki got hurt. He scowled at the woman, as he recognized her and that she tended to sensationalize the news to make herself look good. He turned from her his back toward her then spoke in a low growl that sent shivers up and down her spine.
"That is none of your business! We have no comments for reporters such as you." The officer moved away from the car and toward the other officers.
The reporter scowled as the officer mingled with the other policemen. She saw as he pointed to her and the other officers glared at her and turned from her. Her minor anger turned to rage at the slight. She turned to go back to the rest of the jackals then stopped as they stared at her with smug smiles at her attempt to gain information. She snarled at them as she moved into the group of them. They knew she was here because CNN wanted her away from their main office and the beds of their higher-ups.

Genma sat on the futon mat in the bare cell it had no outside window and the solid steel door had a small window for the guard to look through. At the bottom was the slot for his food to come through. He sat cross-legged on his futon as he glared at the door. He seemed to be meditating but he just wanted to appear that way. His mind was going over how he got caught! It was Ranma's fault the boy should have came with him to Tendo's home. He should have married one of his daughters! Then he would have been set for life. He could have stol...taken everything Tendo had then thrown them all out!
His mind worked out a new way to get free again. Though, this time it would be more difficult. He was in maximum security and he was not permitted out in the yard. Well at least for the next two years. Then they might let him. He frowned as if he had to stay in this tiny cell that long he would go nuts! His mind wondered to the day that he tried to reclaim his son. The fact he was female and stuck never fazed him he could just take him back to Jusenkyo and throw him into a spring of drowned man or something. It was the fact the boy accessed the Neko-Ken!
He sat and wondered where he learned to do that!? He purposely trained his son with weaknesses for him to exploit. He did not want him to complete the Neko training. The boy was supposed to fall into a cat spring. He was sure he had knocked him off the cliff and headed toward one of the four cat springs. Then the stupid guide distracted him and he fell into the drowned girl spring. Genma completely forgot he had knocked his son into that spring then threw him into the drowned Isis warrior/elf spring. Like most people it was easier to blame Ranma and not take responsibility for what they did.
Genma heard as a tray of food was slid into his cell. He tried to ignore it but he could not. He lunged from his futon and scooped up his tray of a meager amount of food (Dani: meager to him). He inhaled the food then tossed the tray on the floor. He kicked it back out the door then moved to his futon to continue his musings. His time in prison he heard of the stuff happening in Nerima he knew if he could get out again he could stay near the school. His son was defiantly there. When the fighters came out, he could grab Ranma and get him hitched to one of Tendo's daughters before anyone knew what happened. Then the boy would get him free of this prison permanently.
Genma looked up as a guard banged on his door with his nightstick. He saw the guard smirking in at him. He then walked passed. Genma did not move except to look up and glare back at the guard. The warden told him when they brought him back that they found out how he got out. His footprints across the road led them to the tampered gate, which had been fixed, and the entire gate around the prison is being fortified. As were all the window bars. He smirked, as he would find another way out until the warden told him of his new residence.
(o)(o) FLASHBACK (o)(o)
"You Saotome will be placed in a maximum security cell for the next two years. It is the orders of the judge that sentenced to our care. He also added one more year to your sentence for the escape. Then there will be the years added for your attack of the young woman and her mother. The only window you have is in the steel cell door and is only four inches square." Genma stared at him shocked he only escaped and the warden saw the shock.
"Yes you only escaped until you attacked a young woman and tried to kidnap her! You are also charged with attacking her mother." The warden looked down at the papers in front of him.
"That was my son!" Genma snarled as he snapped out of his shock.
"Aaawww, yes your curse. I understand you splashed the young woman with hot water and nothing happened. That tells me sir you are mistaken. Your son is dead and you killed him. GUARD! Take Saotome to his cell." The warden slammed the folder closed and glared as two burly guards dragged out Genma.
(o)(o) END FLASHBACK (o)(o)
[That was Ranma and if I can get to Jusenkyo, he will be again!] Genma thought as he leaned against the wall and fell asleep sitting up.
This turn of events had been wiped from Genma's mind what Tarragon and Niitmin had done to him. He did not know because it would not take effect until he tried to use any of his remaining attributes. They had shiatsu points that the Amazons did not. They were able to block away a victim's enhanced attributes. They however felt it was not enough as they also set his attempt to use his strength, speed, or agility to his pain receptors. Each time he tried to access those attributes he would find them gone and extreme pain would remind him of the missing attributes and why.

The fighters in the Furinkan campus fought their battle watched by four imprisoned friends. The four watched as ninja fought side by side with Amazons, Musk, and Phoenix. They watched as the school grounds ran red with the blood of the hybrid warriors of Seth. As their warriors fell, Sara or Cinnamon would cast the healing spell through the rings. The problem was the ninja warriors wore no rings. That was when they decided to try again connecting the rings together. This time they watched as the tendrils surged into the fight. They strained to control where the tendrils went.
They watched as the magic passed harmlessly through their warriors healing them as they went. If a tendril did hit a Seth warrior, it was not pleasant for the enemy. The campus was filled with the screams of Seth's fighters that tried to get in the way of the healing tendrils. Sara wanted to cover her ears but they needed her power since she was the strongest. Thyme did not have any Druid in him but Saamin did which meant an ancestor of his was Druid. The only Druid magic Thyme had came from the ring given them by the Druid Pantheon and it was needed. As was his strength of will to control the magic, they sent out to help their fellow warriors.
They watched as the battle went on all their warriors healed and refreshed. They stared as shuriken flew and glowed bright red. When they hit their targets, they went through them and on to another. They sometimes took out two or three of Seth's fighters before embedding in the ground or a tree. Sara tried hard not to throw up. She stared at the blood soaked ground that was slippery and the warriors were having trouble staying on their feet. That was when Thyme frustrated shouted through the wall of the dome. Then as if a 'DUH' moment struck the warriors did as he told them.
"YOU GUYS CAN FLY FLOAT ABOVE THE GROUND!" Thyme and his compatriots watched as the Amazons and some Musk took to the skies.
The Musk that could not fly did not seem to mind they were used to fighting in unconventional training grounds. They were happy to have the land to themselves it allowed them to unleash their own specialized training based on the animal that started their line. It turned into a massacre as blood flew from glowing swords, bladed staffs, pikes, and awls. The gory sight went on for almost an hour Sara, Cinnamon, and Saamin healing individual warriors as needed. Saamin took care of minor wounds since his level of Druid magic was very low. His ancestor was centuries behind him.
As the Jusendo Warriors and ninja fought, they watched for enemies trying to break from the fighting. They knew they were heading toward the nexus to allow Seth through. They had several groups of warriors that would follow them. They were assigned this task. There were two Musk, Amazon, and Phoenix warriors per group. They also found that two ninja would go with them. The Jusendo fighters finally believed that the minions of Seth gave up since those that tried were left to rot on the blood soaked ground. None noticed as some of the hybrid warriors started falling back from the battle. They disappeared into the trees around the compound. They then followed the trees around the back of the building and made it to the edge of the soccor field. When they had at least ten warriors, they made their attack.

Sara watched the battle her face filled with worry as she saw as one of their fighters fell. She was about to cast a healing spell when Saamin did it instead keeping her magic for more damaged warriors. She watched with worry, as she feared for them and those inside the nexus. She jumped slightly at a thumping sound. She looked around then turned to face behind her and she shrieked as there were about a dozen hybrids warriors pounding on the shield. The other three with her turned and stared in shock.
Sara stared at the angry faces of the hybrid warriors. She was at first frightened they would come through the barrier. Then she realized they would let out Seth or go in and hurt her baby. She began to glow a dark rainbow color as she ran toward the back of the shield. The others confused as to what she was planning then they realize what she was planning as the same instruction came to them. They did not have time to think about that but did as Sara did. Thyme was surprised that even he could muster the Druid magic as the Druids had loaded the rings with a minimal amount to help those not of Druid ancestry.
As Sara reached the back of the dome her hand slapped against the shield a second later, the hands of the others slapped against the dome. They watched shocked as four pillars of rainbow magic shot through the dome. They tore a swath through the minions of the evil god. It was frightening and awe inspiring at the same time. When the spell finished there were only three minions left. That was until they started to fall to pieces before their eyes. They turned to their left and found Mr. Tabbs broke from the warriors and took care of the last few enemies. He then turned and roared at the fighters then ran back off to fight with the Jusendo warriors. As Mr. Tabbs left, they noticed the glowing collar around his neck realizing he wore a Druid collar.
The warriors inside the dome smiled as they now realized they were not helpless that they could fight to help their friends. They turned from the carnage behind them and faced the battle. They saw that their warriors were starting to weaken. They watched as a large group of reinforcements came from the trees from Seth. They wondered when the warriors inside would stop the influx to earth. It was then that the three Druids became glassy-eyed. Thyme looked confused but he felt something and tried to let it take over him and he could not focus on the nudge against his mind.
Thyme watched as the other three began to glow and then clasped their ring hands. Thyme did not understand why but he put his hand on top of the other hands. He then watched as hovering over their hands a ball of ice and lightening began to form. Thyme began to shiver as the coldness came off the growing ball. He then spotted the lightning bolts grow inside the ice ball. As it grew he watched the influx of Seth's warriors grow then he realized what the other three were going to do and he began to shudder in fear.
Thyme watched as if linked the three Druids released a massive spell of swirling ice and lightning. The magic sphere moved toward the shield. Thyme stared in shock then shook off his shock as he tried desperately to stop them. He however, was too late. He watched in horror as the attack floated gently to the shield. Thyme tried hard to tap the magic in his ring to stop the floating ice bomb. He could not and watched as it floated to the shield wall.
The ball of ice and lightning gently bumped into the shield then continued to slowly push against it. As the shield stretched to its limit, the magic spell kept pushing through. Then the spell started to break through the shield. Finally after an agonizing few minutes the sphere was free. The last bit of it popped through the undamaged shield. The final escape from the dome caused the sphere to be shot forward like a rubber band. It flew toward the enemy coming from the woods.
The four protected warriors watched as the sphere flew above the warriors. The Druids in the dome strained to control the flight of the ball. They were able to move it away from their warriors as it flew toward the incoming minions. Several of Seth's fighters swiped at it with their sword and was frozen down to its molecular level and shattered into shards of ice when the frozen warriors of Seth were hit. Other weapons were covered with lightning that arched back to the wielder of the weapon then arched to those that fought for access to the slowly moving sphere. The fighters that faced the woods where the reinforcements came were stunned as by the time the ice ball reached the oncoming warriors it had grown to the size of a large beach ball. When it hit the new warriors and those behind them they became ice statues that were shattered by the lightning that was released when the ice ball broke.

Sara watched as her new family fought hard she and the other two Druids worked to keep their fighters healed and rested. She jumped when a jackal headed man appeared in front of her with a lusting leer as his sword hit the dome. She wanted to stop him but she did not know what to do. She feared a spell that would stop him could destroy the dome. She then spotted other attackers coming.
Sara's fear grew as she felt she had not learned enough. Suddenly she became very calm. Her mind filled with flashes of a large ball of ice and lightning slowly floating through the dome and destroying their attackers. She smiled as now she could be proactive instead of reactive. She moved three feet from he wall of the dome and began to cast her spell. She saw as both Saamin and Cinnamon did the same. Instead of creating their own spells, they added to hers. They heard as Thyme tried to stop them then added his hand to theirs as their spell completed it floated toward the dome's wall.
(l(l(l)l)l)
"STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? ARE YOU THREE NUTS!?" Thyme's shouts landed on deaf ears as he watched the magic spell as it floated toward their protective shield.
Thyme moved in front of Sara and pushed her back farther from the wall he then withdrew his six-foot double edge sword. He fed his chi through it and took a protective stance in front of Sara. He jumped slightly when she laid her delicate hand on his shoulder. He did not turn from the spell as she spoke softly to him.
"It is alright Thyme dear we will be safe." Sara's soft authoritative voice spoke gently to him as sh placed his hand on top of theirs.
He watched in shock as the spell moved slowly through the wall then burst free and headed toward the warriors fighting to save earth. He did not have time to ask what happened as the battle got more fierce as the earth warriors saw that the entrapped warriors still were able to effect the out come of the battle other then healing and refreshing the fighters. This gave the earth warriors a burst of cocky pride and a morale boost and they surged more determined then before to win this fight.
The minions of the god of chaos decided to fight the earth warriors alone. They figured it was suicide to go after those four in the dome. They would fall soon enough to Seth. Though some minions still tried and found the same fate as the reinforcements that had come to help them. The four in the shield were just as formidable as those outside. The fact Sara and the others could protect themselves saved their warriors from having to break from the fight to rescue them. It was then that an explosion came from deep in the trees around the inner courtyard of the school. The earth warriors smiled as the portal Seth opened in Japan was now gone. This energized the Jusendo warriors as now there would be no more reinforcements and the battle had an end.
(l(l(l)l)l)
The imprisoned warriors watched it had been more then a week since the battle started and their friends and family were finally winning. The Musk controlled the ground, the Amazons floated above and the Phoenix took the air with Amazons helping when needed. As they watched their eyes grew as Seth's warriors started to glow Sara sensed it first and she did what any self-respecting mother would do she screamed.
"THEY'RE CASTING A COMBINED SPELL!" The warriors of earth changed their tactics at the shout.
The other three with Sara changed their vision to watch the casting of the spell. They began to shout instructions as to what Seth's minions were doing. It really was not necessary as the fighting force for earth already started watching the development. They started to intervene in the magical process. Sara and her protectors tried to help though they found they could not get individual spells out of the dome unless like the first time they touched the dome's wall. So, they first sent out another ice ball. Then they each placed a glowing hand on the wall and here Thyme was able to help them in controlling the spells to hit the appropriate targets.
(l(l(l)l)l)
The warriors of Seth became confused they could not understand how these pitiful creatures knew they were casting a spell let alone a combined spell. They did not see as the warriors they fought glowed accessing their chi and ki that enhanced their ability to see the magic auras around them. They were confused then shocked as the earth warriors started the next attack but instead of a full frontal assault, they started by attacking the stronger magic users. The ice and lightning ball from Sara and her partners along with the streams of energy helped these attacks. The additional Druid magic did not mix well with the hybrids' magic and sped up the backlash.
The effect of this attack caused a dangerous disruption in the minions' spell and it began to backfire. The warriors kept attacking the strongest of the magic users they were fighting and when the disrupted spell went critical, the earth warriors moved quickly away from the hybrid warriors. They moved quickly Amazons and Phoenix warriors flew and each took a musk warrior with them. They went behind the magical barrier that protected Sara and her companions. Sara and her companions had cast another shield spell inside the one they were in for extra protection. This time Thyme helped by adding his ki and chi to the spell along with Saamin. It reinforced the shield to help protect their fellow warriors behind them. As the last, of the warriors got behind the doubled barrier the magical spell exploded. The earth warriors turned as the bright flash exploded. When they turned back the last of Seth's minions were gone.
"Can you get us into the Nexus?" A Phoenix warrior asked as he came up to the encased fighters.
"No the shield can't come down until they are ready to come out. It not only protected us from your battle but it, prevents Seth from coming through." Sara told them as they nodded.
"So we wait?" He asked again.
"Yes but I think if Seth sends minions it won't be through the Nexus it would drain its power. Those hybrids came from that direction when they showed up. So we had better be on guard. Get some rest and something to eat." Saamin told the birdman as he nodded and moved to a bare section of the campus and started a fire.
The rest of the fighters soon followed him. All had brought supplies in their subspace pockets and began to prepare meals for all the fighters. Sara turned to Cinnamon and the two men who smiled and brought out supplies as well. They all ate quickly for fear Seth might send more warriors. They sat on the ground and rested while they waited. They knew the warriors that entered the Nexus had it harder since Seth had access to his entire army.

Akane entered the waiting room of Tofu's clinic. She restocked the urn with fresh water along with the tea bags and snacks. She moved to the corner of the room by the front door and turned on the television. She put it on the news as she was wondering if there was anything interesting going on at Furinkan. As the picture, focused Akane heard the CNN announcer.
"There was an explosion at Furinkan Campus in Nerima Japan. We have also learned that a bloody battle was fought in a valley deep in China's interior. We will have more in a moment." Akane ran down the hallway and knocked on the exam rooms where Kasumi and Tofu were seeing patients.
"What is it Akane?" Kasumi asked a bit perturbed at her interruption.
"CNN is about to have a news cast about Furinkan and about a similar battle in China." The two doctors closed the door to the rooms and followed after Akane.
They found her just inside the waiting room by the hallway to stay out of the way of the patients watching the report. She was staring at the commentator as he was talking about something else. They waited for a few minutes when in the upper left and right of the screens were placed to live feeds. One was of Furinkan High the other of a valley with hundreds of bloody springs and fifteen people on guard. The gasps heard in the room were when five of the guards flew over the valley with functional wings.
"This is Tortao Harada it seems something has changed in Nerima. A large explosion was heard under the protective dome over the schoolyard. No one has yet left the campus for questioning. We here at CNN feel it may be due to the fact that the battle is not over. However, there is no more fighting being heard through the dome. Our experts feel they are waiting for more attackers to show up." He looked at the audience his face unemotional but his eyes showed the fear he felt.
Harada was about forty with onyx black hair and eyes. He was handsome and well built. He looked to be about five feet eight inches tall. His eyes were large and sat on each side of a short thin nose. His nose ended over a pair of thin lips. His face was square and his jaw line hard with a small dimple. He wore a black business suit with a gold and blue silk tie.
"We have just learned through satellite filming that in a valley deep in China's interior another battle raged it looked as if these warriors are part of the group here. They fought animal headed humanoids in a valley of springs. The springs seemed enraged as blood slowly added to the water." As he spoke the image on the left zoomed in closer.
The clinic watched as the warriors and animal men fought. There were winged fighters, foot soldiers, and fighting women warriors that also flew but had no wings. The army they fought against had flyers and foot soldiers as well. It was a horrible battle as one flying woman used a staff with three-foot blades on each end and sliced through a line of oncoming hybrid warriors. Akane nearly screamed as a falcon headed flying hybrid tried to cut off her head. She disappeared and reappeared behind him. As he, cut off the head of one of his own warriors. The woman appeared behind him and cut off his wings.
The audience watched as he fell into a bubbling pool below them. The entire audience gasped as instead of the falcon headed man a donkey pulled itself out of the pool. They watched as it slowly moved to a group of other animals that seemed to be encased in an animal pen made of golden light.
"The battle fought in China ended at about the same time as the battle being fought here. We don't understand why the school is still protected or why the inhabitants of this valley have left guards." The man said as he looked at the images and shuddered.
Another image came up as two guests appeared one was a general in the Japanese army while the other looked like a professor from the local college. As the images of them getting ready, to speak the two images of Japan's Furinkan High and the valley in China was superimposed back in the corners.
"With me is Professor Akihiro of Tokyo University of Egyptian Studies also joining us is General Koisumi of the Japanese army. Gentlemen is there anything you can tell us about what is happening?" The reporter asked as the men stared out at the television audience.
Professor Akihiro was fifty-six years old and had gray hair with streaks of black and white. His brown eyes were medium in size and sat on either side of thin short nose. On his nose sat a pair of wire-rimmed bi-focal glasses. His lips were just a bit thicker then thin and his mouth was turned into a permanent frown. His face was oval and on the longish side. He was wearing a charcoal gray business suit with a red and blue striped tie. He wore black oxford loafers on his feet. His build was lean but he had a paunch at his midsection. He was well tanned from his archeological digs in Egypt for most of his career.
General Koizumi stood about five feet six and half inches. He was in his late forties; he had salt and pepper hair with dark brown eyes. His eyes were small and piggish in nature and sat on either side of a short bulbous nose. He had cruel thin lips. His features rested in a round face. He wore a green officer's uniform with black oxford shoes.
"Well it is hard to believe that these are real pictures. There is no race that we know of that had wings. I will tell you the animal headed creatures are straight out of Egyptian mythology. The fact they are wearing black tells me they are not on the side of Isis. Jackals as you see there are considered to be evil. So I suspect they are fighting off Seth's attempt to release himself from his exile. Fascinating I would love to go there and study these creatures!" The professor cut in before the general could answer the question as the professor licked his lips.
Visions of dissecting a minion of Seth and a Phoenix warrior crossed his mind; the entire audience shuddered with fear at the look on his face. Harada's face turned to scowl as the professor's expression sickened him. He looked to the general and saw he also felt nauseated by the look.
"They are indeed fighting the army of Seth. I was in a meeting with the warriors that had fought his attempt to enter our world fifty years ago. At that time, they fought with the super hero Isis. She lost her life in the battle making sure Seth was blocked from using that valley again. He has since learned a new way in and Professor all those soul giving their lives to stop Seth is under the protection of the Japanese government and the Emperor. If you dare to harm them in anyway you will find yourself ending up like those evil warriors." The general explained as he pointed to the image of a Seth warrior falling into a spring and coming out a duck.
"Please those are not real! The things we could learn if we studied those humanoids would be invaluable!" The professor did not hear the general, the smile the general gave was not cruel, but it was not nice.
"I will warn you again doctor they are under the militaries protection! Know this as well their leader Kalya says the goddess Isis controls the Springs of Sorrow attempt any treachery you will end up permanently cursed." The general told the doctor one more time as the Professor snarled at him forgetting they were on TV.
"I am an acclaimed scientist and will do as I please! I will study those beings they are nothing to us but low intelligent test subject!" The thunder could be heard over the professor's communication feed.
"I would watch it professor I have met several of the Egyptian gods recently and they mean to protect Isis' Warriors and children." The general gave his final warning, as Harada was about to ask a question the professor shouted.
"I WILL NOT BE STOPPED BY YOUR FANT...!" He was interrupted as a rain shower fell on him.
The general and host stared in awe as the office of the professor was in a rain shower. They watched as he suddenly began to shrink. The camera crew with him followed him down with the camera. They stared at a pile of clothes in the chair. The cameraman's hand appeared in the picture as he moved the clothes from over the moving lump. What was left in the chair was a squawking, quacking duck with gray down. The CNN crew and general stared shocked.
"Splash him with hot water!" The general said with a cold voice.
The cameraman grabbed the still hot tea on the professor's desk and threw it at the duck. They stared as nothing happened. The cameraman then dumped the entire pot of hot water over the gray duck. This time he changed back. The cameraman turned away to allow him to get dressed. When he turned back, he was furious.
"You now have a curse. Cold water will shift you to your duck form professor hot water changes you back. Keep going on with your plans and the goddess will make it permanent." The general turned from the angry man as he turned back to the host of the newscast.
"Excuse me general how do you know of this?" Harada asked his guest.
"I was part of the meeting with the warriors that came here to fight Seth's attempt to destroy our world. Also our government knows of the valley." The general told Harada as the professor glared at the military man.
"What else can you tell us General Koizumi?" Harada asked as his face showed his curiosity.
"That Seth had managed to take control of the ley lines and used them to find large enough chaotic nexuses to break through. Nerima, Juuban, and Tomobiki each seem to have a large nexuses and between them another five medium sized one." The professor stopped glaring and started to pay attention.
"My word! How did they find them?" Harada asked as he stared in awe at the general.
"The tribes of that valley in China have at least three thousand years of history with tomes, books and scrolls of information as old. They also have two young men who are direct descendants of the Druids. It seemed that Isis is putting the warriors where they need to be to get additional help." General Koizumi told them with a contemplative look.
"General when they finally can leave the protection of the dome do you, think you can get them to talk with us?" Harada hoped so to get a scoop and talk to these soldiers about the war.
"I do not know they don't want the lime light they are the avatars of the goddess. That means if she needs them to save earth again they will be there to help. They can't do that with sight seers or those that would get in the way and get innocents killed." The general raised an eyebrow at the frown of Harada.

The people in the clinic stared in shock as the images played out before them. They stared, as the professor became a duck. Akane was furious and felt the curse should have been permanent. He was going to hurt those flying warriors. She felt she knew where they were. When this was over, she would warn them. They watched and listened then Harada held his ear and he looked out at the audience his eyes showed guarded relief.
"We have just gotten word, it seems the battle has ended. Though, none of the warriors are at the campus. There was a bright light and the shield imploded. The police are examining the battle scene. It looks as if only the minions of Seth are dead. This is Tortao Harada signing off we will break in with new updates as they become available." Akane ran out the door to the clinic her sister and brother-in-law confused.

The battle in the nexus was raging the Druids with the strongest magic trading off healing and refreshing the troops. The warriors fighting on three fronts the problem was Seth seemed to have an endless supply warriors. Then through the rings came more information about the spells the encased warriors near the nexus accomplished. It seemed once the rings imparted that information ice & lightning balls started flying, as did streams of rainbow colored magic.
Kalya felt this was the chance she and Happosai needed. She knew the continual healing and refreshing would not continue to help after a while. She looked around and found Happosai and Cologne fighting along side several Musk warriors. She looked up at a shadow that flew over them and smiled. She sent her message to only the Isis warrior near Happosai.
{"Meran, with all the ice and lightning flying tell Happosai to head for the portals. Tell him Uni-Sen-Ken enforce."} Kalya watched as Meran swooped down and landed next to Happosai.
Kalya watched as he disappeared she followed suit then took off toward the portals. They needed to shut them down but with all the foot soldiers Seth released they could not get there. It was when those of Druid descendants started using the two new spells from Sara, that they were distracting the evil god. Kalya was gone before Nodoka knew what was going on. She nearly blew their chance when she started to shout but was stopped by her brother his hand over her mouth.
{"No Nodoka! You do and she dies then we all die!"} Hayashi's snarled voice came through Nodoka's mind.
{"She is my baby!"} Nodoka thought back as she spun on her brother.
{"I know sis but you knew she was going to do this! Now let her do what she needs to do! Happosai is with her and he won't let anything happen to her!"} Hayashi told her as she bowed her head sadly and nodded.

Seth smiled as his continuing deluge of warriors was keeping Isis' warriors at bay. He smiled as more of his warriors piled into the portals. He turned suddenly at the shouts of pain that suddenly ended. He stared in shock as many of the earth warriors were shooting off magic balls of ice and lightning and others were streaming powerful and deadly magic as his army was exploding when hit by the magic. He summoned more warriors as he was not going to loose after being so close.
Seth ducked suddenly as one of the ice and lightning balls nearly took his head off. He ran behind a half wall then placed a black dome over it. It would not do for him to die now. He watched as his warriors ran out to meet Isis's warriors. He had dispelled the dome over his whole citadel to conserve energy since all he needed was to protect himself.
Seth heard more shouts of pain and this time horror. He turned and found the portals being sliced apart but there was no cause for it. He saw as his army tried to enter under the attackers and still make it to earth. They were however not able to as they were sliced into four segments. Seth then grew angry as Kalya and Happosai appeared over the half destroyed portals. He aimed a blast at the two Neko-warriors but never got a chance to shoot it as an ice and lightning ball started coming through his shield.
Seth screamed and ducked under the ball and released his dome to allow the orb to float on over his head. Once it was gone, he reinstated his dome but the explosion behind him and the screams of pain made him whirl around. He had forgotten he was in front of the portal to his exile that was allowing his warriors through. It was not the only destroyed portals. He turned at two more explosions and found the portals to earth had vanished as well.
"KILL THEM ALL BUT BRING ME ISIS' WARRIORS ALIVE!" Seth shouted to his minions as he watched the battle as it raged on.
"Ain't gonna happen you pervert!" The bell like tones of Kalya told him as she flew overhead and sliced at his dome causing it to fall apart.
Seth shot a huge blast of black energy at the flying woman. It would have been a direct hit if not for Minuet and Frosta swooping in, grabbing her by the arms, and pulling back behind their lines. Seth seethed, as the three women were gone. He would not be stopped earth was his as was Isis! He would have them all! He began shooting volleys of energy at the oncoming warriors as they fought with the last thousand or so of his warriors. A number that was fast diminishing as Druid magic mingled with Isis and elfin magic to bring him asunder.
(l(l(l)l)l)
The battle with Seth's fighters was long and hard. Though with what Sara had found out about the rings made it easier. Seth was running out of fighters. Since Kalya and Happosai destroyed the portals to earth, the Druids used what they learned through the rings, and accidently destroyed the portal his army was using to enter the nexus. Kalya wanted to end this she wanted everyone to go home. Kalya was proud of her warriors. They all showed they had learned their lessons well. She smiled as Shampoo and Cognac fought side by side. They made sure the other would return from this war as they had decided they wanted to be heir because they proved to be the best not because their rival was killed in this war. She saw Seth was getting nervous and a feral grin formed on her face. She then pulled from her weapons space the Sword of Osiris. She removed the sheath and placed it back in subspace.
{"I am going after Seth! This ends now! Call all to a massive charge against the citadel and his warriors!"} Kalya charged toward the chaotic god.
{"KALYA! NO!"} Nodoka tried to follow her daughter but was stopped by her brother and Ric.
{"Let go of me I have to help her!"} Nodoka struggled to get free.
{"No Do-Chan this is her fight! We have our own!"} Ric told her as he pulled her toward the battle with Seth's warriors.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Kalya faded from view and moved through Seth's protectors. They never saw her. She stood before the evil god with her Umi-Sen-Ken firmly in place. She stared at the shield. She opened her senses and smiled, as she knew what she needed to do. She floated back a few feet then started swiping at the black glowing shield. The horror on Seth's face made it clear he did not expect this. As Kalya, moved around the shield tearing it apart piece by piece as she and Happosai had done with the vortex.
(l(l(l)l)l)
The earth warriors moved in and around Seth's army of hybrid warriors. The battle was brutal for both sides. Though the gift of the Druids allowed Isis' warriors to survive and go home. The warriors used everything they had learned not only from Kalya and Happosai but from the other tribes of Jusendo Valley as well. Shampoo swooped in and using her chúi enhanced with chi, she slammed it into the wings on a flying hybrid warrior that was sneaking up on Cognac.
"=YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY COUSIN=!" Shampoo's Mandarin shout filled the valley of the Nexus.
The enemy warrior fell from the sky trying to take Cognac with him as he tried to impale her with his sword. The shout of her cousin though alerted her and she attacked. She swerved with a rolling spin to the left. At the same time, she sliced with her glowing sword and removed the head of the evil warrior as he fell. His sword still clasped tightly in his hand landed with a sickening thud. The two girls flew off together toward a battle being waged by the Phoenix warriors and Seth's flying minions.
The elders watched as Shampoo fought to save her rival. They had all noticed that both heirs of Cologne were fighting to keep the other safe. They smiled as either one would be worthy member of the council. The problem was would they each on their own be the right fit. They pondered this line of thought as they moved off toward a group of Musk and Amazons fighting twenty hybrids and being slowly overwhelmed.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Jeekot led his Phoenix warriors into a group of thirty flying warriors of Seth. They moved faster then their enemies and that was only due to the cross training they did. Jeekot was at the first battle fifty years ago. Their race was a long-lived race. He found this time much easier to fight against the magic of the enemy due to that training. He smiled evilly as he realized his people and the other tribes of Jusendo lived for the battle and as the army of Isis, that battle lust would be satisfied. Jeekot dove quickly as a falcon headed hybrid swung his sword to try and remove his head.
He then arched his back, continued his power dive, and shot skyward as he flew past his attacker Jeekot lashed out with his glowing six-foot double-edged sword. His foe had no choice but to relinquish his wings to the glowing blade. He turned at the shout of Mandarin and saw as Shampoo attacked a minion trying to kill another Amazon. He watched as the dark rich amber colored hair girl rolled quickly to the left then spun upright removing the head from her attacker. He smiled at their skill and the fact they all could now fly made them that more attractive to him. He watched as the two girls flew toward him and his warriors to help with the thirty or so flying hybrids.
Jeekot flew back into the melee as he entered the battle the two Amazons entered the fight as well. Their additional strength was not really needed but it helped. He noticed they were quicker and did not have to worry about damage to their wings. Though Kalya had taught them all to use their ki to help heal themselves but still if their wings were cut off they were gone. His people did learn the art of flying without wings but as a proud race of Phoenix they preferred to fight and fly with their wings. He moved deeper into the throng of the air battle as he passed one of his warriors caught between two hybrids as he flew by aiming toward another group he lashed out with his sword and removed the wings of one of the attackers. He did not wait to see what happened he knew Seth's fighter was gravity bound to the ground.
Jeekot felt after this war was over he and his warriors would start a training session and learn to fight without their wings. They needed to be able to protect their precious wings but fight with the same skill as if they used them. He would have to see if the other tribes with ki fliers wanted to join them and add their skill to the training. Images of Shampoo and Cognac entered his mind, as did some of the other more exotic Amazons flashed through his mind including the younger elders.
(l(l(l)l)l)
The elders reached the Musk and Amazon warriors they knew though their help was needed it was not wanted. So since they were there anyway each elder took off the heads of the four flying hybrid warriors then left the ground warriors to the Musk and the Amazon warriors fighting with them. They knew with the flying minions gone the two groups of fighters had a better chance. So, they returned to the main battle to find where they were needed.
The three elders flew in and around their warriors as they fought both on the ground and above it. They all had taken to Ric's preferred marital arts school. They used their staffs to level the playing field for their warriors. They monitored the other battles in the off chance they could be of help. They moved on when they spotted Herb flying over a group of twenty of Seth's warriors. They watched as he blasted at the enemy trying to protect his warriors.
The elders checked quickly and saw their warriors were doing well. They then took off toward Herb. They flew in a straight line just a foot above the battle. As they entered the battle, their staffs were used to trip or incapacitate the enemy. They dodged the chi blasts from Herb though it did not slow them down as they moved quickly. They did not interfere with the Musk warriors they only helped those trapped by multiple hybrids. When they had alleviated the situation, they flew off to aid other groups of warriors.
(l(l(l)l)l)
Isis' Warriors fought as if they knew what the others were thinking. Seth's warriors did not know the fact that they did. During their battles, they threw suggestions and stratagem as to how to end Seth's attempt at taking over their world. They had worked hard learning to split their concentration during battle. During their private training, that was one of their most important training exercises. They left it as an Isis technique since none of the others fighting could speak telepathically.
{"Kalya you can't go after Seth alone it is too dangerous!"} Nodoka spoke her voice full of worry and fear.
{"There is no other way Nodoka, if we try to all attack him he will disappear back into his exile or worse through the Nexus."} Mousse said as his glowing claws sliced through the arm of one of Seth's warrior as he tried to behead Sage.
{"I WON'T HAVE IT SHE IS MY DAUGHTER!"} Nodoka began to glow a greenish yellow as she swooped down and sliced through a crocodile headed warrior as he tried to sneak up on her brother.
{"Mom you will never know how much that means to me that you want to protect me. I understand your worry but this is my destiny. I will however say she makes a point. What if we all appear to be attacking him keep him off balance so I can get in and use the Sword of Osiris on him."} Kalya said the happy lilt in her voice was missed by all but two of her warriors.
{"Kalya what if he tries to do as what Mousse mentioned. If he gets through the magical block on the Nexus, our warriors in that shield are done for. Not to mention earth."} Meran said as she watched, as Ryoga grew angry.
{"Yes but we need to distract Seth. Maybe if we set it up so his minions protecting him have stopped us. We can pretend they are defeating us. His ego would love that and he would be to excited about winning to notice as Kalya disappears and turns up behind him."} Dolphin put in as she worked out how best to keep the evil god busy.
{"Yes that might work. Then Kalya can let us know when she is in position and we turn the tables. It will enrage him and since he did not have the benefit of learning Anything Goes he won't think to control his anger."} Shen thought to his teammates as he sliced through an arm of Seth's warrior trying to slice through Dolphin's wings.
{"That sounds good. Once we get closer to Seth's barrier, we start feigning we are having trouble. But we need to let the others know not to aid us."} Kalya thought, as she did not want the others involved, as they would fight all out.
{"I don't think it will be a problem Kalya the standing orders were we take care of Seth."} Mousse injected into the conversation.
{"Alright then let's move we have a war to end before it spills on to earth."} Kalya told her family as they moved toward the honor guard of thirty warriors around Seth's magical dome.

Seth kept summoning what he thought was an endless supply of slave warriors. He however found there was an end to his warriors when the Druids of the earth warriors combined their magic to create a very large two-ton boulder sized ice and lightning ball. They threw it directly at Seth's face. His eyes went large as he ducked and watched over his half wall as the attack drew closer. Before it hit his shield, he removed the dome and let the spell fly on past him. He returned the dome quickly and was about to taunt their attempt when he turned quickly as an explosion went off behind him. He watched as like the portals to earth his portal to his warriors was destroyed. He turned ready to destroy those responsible. He stopped, as it seemed the tide of the war was changing.
Seth watched as the Warriors' of Isis charged his location. He signaled for his elite guards to move to intercept them. He had held back the best of his fighters for just this contingency. He knew if he could decimate his sister's warriors, he could win the battle, as those that fought with Isis would lose hope. He had forgotten the warriors that fought for Isis were the same warriors that defeated him before only more powerful. He watched as his royal guards fought with the Isis Warriors. He smiled, as it seemed they were running scared as they huddled together to protect themselves against his might. He laughed as they fought he knew he had them, until. Then he stopped as the tides of battle had changed as his elite warriors were falling to the warriors of Isis.
Seth's eyes suddenly widened, as all around him slash marks appeared in his shield, he raised his hand to repair the damage. The problem was the damage reappeared faster then he could restore it. He prepared to leave when he felt a burning across his chest. He looked down and stared at four claw marks. Then a second set appeared over the first creating a 'X' in the center of his chest.
"What's the matter moron!? Is the itty bitty god a sore loser!?" The voice of the Isis Warrior taunted him.
"WHERE ARE YOU WHOR...AAARRRGGG!" Seth was cut off as a sword cut through his upper arm.
"Now, now Seth you should not be so rude." Kalya told him he stared as she shimmered into existence holding the one thing he feared the most the Sword of Osiris.
"Yo...You hav...!" He was cut off by Kalya's crystal bell like laughter as it filled the valley.
"It was a gift from Isis momma to end your miserable life!" Kalya snarled as she charged forward her sword was raised high to cut off his head.
Seth jumped to the side but he did not get away unscathed as the Sword of his murdered brother left its mark on his back and cut his cape from his body. Seth did not have time to scream he had to get away but he could not she was like lightning everywhere. He felt as the sword cut deep all over his upper torso and thighs. His magic prevented the sword from cutting all the way through but not enough. It cut deep through muscle, nerves, and tendons. The sword was halted when it hit bone.
It had not seemed to bother the demoness. She continued her attack on him. She kept swinging the sword. He felt as vital organs succumbed to the accursed sword. It was as if his brother wielded his own sword. It was as if the sword was swinging the girl's arm. It was as if it wanted his death. He fell to his knees the blows kept coming. He looked down and saw as his golden red blood flowed from his body. He vaguely noticed the blows had stopped. He collapsed to the ground his battle over. He tried to heal his wounds but he should have known better. A wound caused by the Sword of Osiris could not be healed except by Osiris. Seth laughed at the irony but it was a hollow laugh and very weak.
He turned his head and saw as two young men pulled Kalya gently from him. He saw the rage and horror on her face. The rest of the fighters moved in and around him. They watched as his life's blood flowed from his body. He looked around for help but there were none left to give him aid as they had all perished in the battle of war. He wanted to curse them all but he had not the strength left nor did he have the magic to curse those protected by Isis. His eyes returned to Kalya. As his black orbs met her sapphire blue with gray and brown specks, he saw the sadness and pity. His eyes finally closed as the last of his blood spilled on the ground around him.
"Let's go Kalya we have won the war is over." Mousse told her as he and Ryoga turned her back toward the Nexus door to leave.
Seth opened his eyes one last time and watched with half lidded eyes as the two men protectively guided Kalya from the battlefield. As he stared at the warrior he was going to make his slave, his focus on her began to blur. His eyes never left her departing form as they slowly became blank and hollow. Seth's eyes did not close as death moved in and claimed him as his eyes stared blankly but the rage, lust, and wanting were still there in death.

The warriors fought against the hybrid warriors if one was about to be attacked from behind the attacker did not live long. His screams would fill the battlefield. As another warrior would prevent the attacker from completing his strike against a Jusendo or Isis warrior. The warriors began to notice that Seth's minions were starting to be depleted. They watched as he tried to summon more fighters. They all watched as the Druids that fought with them sent an ice and lightning boulder at him. He ducked but the attack hit his hidden portal to his exile and where he was getting his warriors. The explosion told them like the other two that portal was now closed. Some saw as Kalya pulled forth the Sword of Osiris then faded from view. They did not have time to watch what she did but they got fleeting glances as they fought the last of the warriors of Seth.
They at first saw the shield of black energy be shredded they smiled as they heard Seth's rage. Then they shuddered at his scream of pain. They tried to see what was happening but now they were needed more then ever to keep the hybrids away from Seth and Kalya. The tribes of Jusendo surged forward for an all out attack they ran into the on coming enemy looking much like mad men and women. Their final battle was over as the last of the minions were bleeding out on the ground dying or dead.
They turned to see the sword cut through the god of chaos. They watched, as Kalya was deadly accurate with the gift from Isis. Though it never cut all the way through the sword went deep and did much damage. They saw as Seth fell to his knees. They watched, as he seemed fascinated by the pool of blood that formed under him. He finally fell over and looked around to find he was alone. They watched as Mousse and Ryoga held Kalya back as he stared around himself. He fell the rest of the way to the ground and turned to face Kalya. Their eyes locked for a moment then his eyes closed they all hoped for the last time.
"Come it is time we go home." Mascara told them all as they headed back the way they had come.
