The Changing of Isis

Crossover Alternate

By: Dani Yanega

(Dani: Legend is listed in Profile. My profile is also where I will address specific questions or issues that readers ask about.

I do not own many of the Characters in this story though some are mine all the KNOWN characters belong to those who originally created them. Thxs.

Please also NOTE I write Alternate Universe (AU) stories whether they are crossover or not. The AU applies to ALL characters. Thus this will make them OOC to the original Story and I like it that way. So if you plan to comment that Akane is not like that sorry I write her like I like to. This goes for all the characters it makes the story more fun for me to write that way. Got to have some antagonist and some friends :D)

Chapter Epilogue

The Tendo family entered their home a very weak and wobbly Nabiki held up by Soun and Tofu. She stared in shock as the house was decorated with steamers and balloons. While, over the table hung a banner announcing 'WELCOME HOME NABIKI'. Her mouth opened in shock as Sekuo stood in front of a food laden table and a pile of presents next to a chair and TV table.

"The doctor said not to much bending or getting on the floor for meals so you will eat here. Instead of taking you upstairs, you will stay on the sofa. I will come or Akane will to help you wash." Kasumi told her sister with a warm smile that did not reach her angry eyes.

"I can do that so Akane does not have to miss any classes." Sekuo smiled as she pulled out Nabiki's chair for her.

"We can't ask you to do that Sekuo you have school in a few days." Kasumi said with a warm smile.

"I want to! I can come after school. I can sit with Nabiki and help her with what she needs while I do my homework. PLEASE!" Sekuo said her eyes wide and shimmering in the light.

"It is alright Onee-Chan she can come and help me." Nabiki said a bit confused and suspicious but strangely elated at the same time.

"Well alright but if you need help you must promise to call the clinic." Kasumi told the vigorously nodding Sekuo.

Akane frowned as she felt Sekuo would be her friend. She stared at the shock on her sister's face at the girl's insistence on taking care of Nabiki. She was just glad she did not tell Sekuo anything that Nabiki could use against her. She served everyone at the table as Sekuo made sure Nabiki had plenty of food. As they ate Akane smiled evilly as she felt she was about to get home of her own back from her mercenary sister.

"This is really good Kasumi!" Nabiki told her elder sister with a warm smile.

"I did not make it Nabiki I had to much to do at the clinic." Kasumi told her with a bright happy smile.

"Oh then I will have to than Mrs...!" Nabiki was cut off as she noticed the smile on Akane's face.

"She did not make the meal either Nabiki Akane-Chan did. Isn't it delicious!" Akane smiled even more evilly as Nabiki began to turn green.

"Oh stop it Nabiki! Akane with the help of Mrs. Konita has learned to cook. When she stayed in Nerima while you were in the hospital Mrs. Konita and her Home Economics Instructor allowed her to help Akane learn her lessons." Kasumi glared at her middle sister with a deep frown.

Nabiki looked at the frown in Kasumi's face and shrunk back from her sister. She then looked around and saw as her father and Tofu were eating what Akane made. Her mouth dropped open as Sekuo was also eating the food even so far as taking seconds and serving more to her father and brother-in-law. She looked down at herself and saw nothing was happening and she did like the food it just bothered her she did not know what was happening while she was in the hospital.

Genma sat silently in his jail cell. His eyes fixed on the window in his cell door. They had moved him from isolation into a maximum-security cell. He now had a window though it was re-enforced the window's bars and placed a steel mesh over the window. He was not going to give up he was going to get Ranma and force him to marry a Tendo daughter.

He perked up as he heard the foot falls of the guard as he went down checking the occupants of each cell. He still had a lot of tricks up his sleeves and he was not going to stay in this cell any longer. He felt it was a cliché but he had found they did not re-enforce the stone that made up the walls. Since he ate quickly, he would dig around the air vent behind his bunk. He would then clean the spoon and put it back on the tray in time for the guard to pick it up. He was now ready to get out. He did not know where the tunnel would take him but he was not staying here.

He laid, down on his bunk and closed his eyes. He faced the wall and pretended to be asleep. This would be the last time they checked prisoners until after the changing of the guards in three hours. By then, he would be long gone. He would get his son and beat him into submission. Then he could sit back and let him support him for the rest of his days. He would also make him release what the Amazons and those two friends of his did to him. He needed his skill and attributes Ranma's to friends locked away. He noticed other things since he was rearrested. He did not want to think about it as he started feeling more like a panda then a human.

He brought his covers up over his head but remembered to leave some of his head showing he then relaxed and let sleep take him. He heard the door to the window open. He then heard as the guard slammed his nightstick around the inside frame of the little door. He jumped slightly so the guard could be sure he was still there. He however refused to wake up. He waited and when the guard slammed, the door shut Genma moved quickly to escape.

He lifted the top edge of his bed up and away from the wall. He then moved behind the bed and out the opening. He crawled into a maintenance corridor and began to follow it toward what he hoped was freedom. The farther he moved from his cell the happier he was. He stopped in front of a locked door. He examined the pad lock with a snort and puled out a thin wire he borrowed from mechanics work shop. He quickly picked the lock and took a step outside. The door exited on to the back parking lot. Genma nearly jumped for joy but clamped his hands over his mouth. He closed the door and headed for the woods.

"YOU WILL NOT HURT MY DAUGHTER PANDA!" The double booming voice filled the parking lot as the prison searchlights covered Genma with white light.

Genma did not notice as before him stood an eight-foot tall man well he thought it was a man except he had a double lions head. He heard the commotion behind him as the guards came out to recapture him. He also heard the comments as they froze at the sight of the lion man. Aker bent down and picked up Genma by the collar of his orange jump suit. He brought the frightened man very close to his very long and very sharp teeth.

"I KNEW YOU WOULD TRY TO ESCAPE AGAIN. THEREFORE, I WAS JUST WAITING. I WILL GIVE YOU BACK TO THESE GUARDS BUT NOT WITHOUT A REMINDER TO STAY AWAY FROM KALYA!" Aker set Genma back down and with a wave of his hand, the frightened man could not move he tried to run but could not.

"FIRST IF ISIS WILL GIVE HER PUNISHMENT!" Aker told them as a storm cloud formed over Genma.

The guards watched as a sudden localized rainstorm fell over Genma. When the rain was gone, all that remained was a soggy wet and smelly panda in an orange jumpsuit. Then the guards stared as the lion god placed his hand on the top of Genma's furry head. It and Aker's hand glowed a golden rainbow color then when the light faded, the god was gone.

'I FEAR HERE IS NOT WHERE HE NEEDS TO BE HE IS NOW AND FOREVER MORE IN MIND AND BODY A PANDA." The booming double voice spoke to the guards as they moved slowly toward the bear.

The panda did not run or attack it just sat on its butt and scratched its stomach. A guard ran into the jail and returned with a rope a few moments later. He wrapped the rope around the docile panda's neck and led the panda inside. They put him in solitary then called for the warden. Then one of the guards called the local zoo.

The Isis warriors and their friends moved on with their lives. Many made the Isis compound their home. Sara trained Ryoga on how to use the ley lines to find his brother, father, and sisters and with that knowledge, he was able to bring them home on a regular basis. His brother at one time brought home a Sumo pig farmer Unryuu Akari. She visited regularly to find her fiancé Takido.

After they finished catering and function rooms, they were able to buy a store front for the emporium near the compound. As regular visitors come to the compound from Jusendo Valley, they would bring with them the items that their people wish to sell. The emporium allowed the facility's rooms to be decorated with them and business cards as to where to buy them. The second war had done what Seth did not what to happen. It brought Jusendo valley into the outside world and the public eye though none could ever reach the villagers though they tried.

Many were the scientist that tried to capture the Phoenix and Musk. They wanted to study them to learn how an entire tribe could be created from animals. While, others wanted to experiment on the Phoenix warriors. The shields around all three of the villages protected them all from interlopers. Those that refused to give up taking the Jusendo residents they found themselves cursed some never to change to humans again. They finally gave up trying as the animals they became were spilt between the Jusendo tribes and Tang.

He slowly opened his eyes but saw nothing, as it was pitch black. He was lying on a cold marble slab. He tried to sit up but slowly fell back down as the nausea and dizziness started. He slowly moved his arm the pain shot through him like Osiris' sword. He gently touched one of the many wounds he sustained. It was then he realized his arm was not moving nor was his hand. He tried to move both appendages but the only thing that happened was the unbearable pain that shot through him.

His eyes snapped open he again saw nothing but a shimmering glow through the bandages over his eyes. He then realized he was wrapped in bandages. He was being mummified. He tried to remove the wrappings when a hand stopped him. He then felt as his hands were crossed over his chest and the scepters of his station were placed in each hand. He felt as his death mask was placed over his face. He tried to see who was there the darkness held no light.

"You were beaten now it falls to me to prepare you for your journey to the afterlife. Do not fear you will not face your brother. You as a god go elsewhere. Though do not expect leniency." The voice was hollow and angry.

"I...I am not *GASP* DEAD!" The mummy tried to tell this person he was alive.

"No you are dead. It is just our afterlife prepares you once you are mummified for your final journey." The voice spoke as he placed a large jewel of red around his neck.

"There all finished bring the lid!" The mummy tried to get up but could not as he felt himself lifted and placed into his final resting place.

He then felt as his death mask was readjusted on his face as it had shifted. He then heard as the lid was put in place. Then he was jostled as he and his coffin were carried away. He felt as he was lowered, and heard the scraping of his sarcophagus against the marble tomb. He then heard as the lid was placed on top of its base.

"Your trial is about to begin oh evil one! Enjoy your eternity! I dare say it won't be as boring as your exile." The voice taunted through the marble tomb.

The mummy then felt as the two-ton tomb was lifted. It felt as if he floated on a soft gentle cloud. He then felt as it moved up. He heard the laughter of the one who mummified him. He would find out who it was, and punish him.

"I will help you evil one! I am the only one worthy enough to mummify a god." The voice taunted sounding as if miles away.

The voice said a name but he could not hear it. He stewed in his anger. His mind remembered the voice told him he was the only one worthy to perform the rights of mummification on one such as he. He tried to move but he was tightly placed in his coffin. He hated closed in places. He wondered if the irritating voice knew that! He wondered if he allowed him to wake before going on to his eternal peace because of it. He then stopped struggling as he remembered who his tormentor was.

"Imhotep!" He growled as he continued to float toward his eternal peace or so he thought.

(l(l(l)l)l)

The mummified god finally felt as his tomb landed. He hoped they were coming to get him now he needed to get out of this stupid box. He waited for someone anyone to come and release him. He waited as time passed and no one showed. He was getting angry at being treated this way! He wanted out he wanted revenge! He lifted his left hand and tried to release the Wa Staff and found he could not. This made him angrier but it did not stop him. He tried to point the staff at the lid but it was two long.

"AAAAARRRRGGGGG! Stupid staffs!" He snarled then angled it at the lid as best he could.

He then sent his power down the staff. He watched as the blast hit the lid just over his abdomen. He became enraged as nothing happened his magic was never released at the lid it got to the end of the Wa staff and died. He tried again and still nothing happened. He kept trying multiple times and each time was the same as before. His rage was growing to a point he was about to explode. He was then jostled as if someone or something had picked up the marble outer sarcophagus. He cried out, as the person was not careful with him.

"WATCH OUT YOU BIG BABOON! I AM ALIVE IN HERE!" The bearer stopped suddenly and roughly causing the living mummy to slam against the side of his final resting place.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That is funny puny one!" The growling voice sent shivers through the mummy, as they started moving again.

To the imprisoned mummy, it felt as if he traveled for days. There was no way for him to tell the passage of time. He stewed in his own rage. When he was set free this bearer was the first to feel his wrath. He felt as the foot of his coffin hit something hard. He then felt the vibration of it scraping along stone as well as heard it. He felt when his feet hit a solid wall. He then heard, as another stone was placed at his head. He became frightened this cannot be right he was a god he should have a kingdom in the afterlife to rule and as a base to destroy his enemies.

"LET ME OUT! I AM STILL ALIVE!" The mummy raged as his wrapped hands slammed against the lid of his tomb.

"Let you out puny one!? Why would I do that? You are dead and soon you will understand that as your body releases your soul to me!" The voice chilled the mummy, as he feared that was not a good thing.

"I AM SETH LET ME OUT!" Seth tried again as he wanted out before this tormentor got his soul.

"Yes I know who you are. I have been waiting for you! A long time and I plan on making you pay for all you have done." The trapped god heard the inferno of rage in this beings voice it almost sounded familiar.

"Let me out and I will share the Earth with you when I take it over!" Seth fell back on manipulation though he never intended to share anything.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! There is nothing to share puny one! Earth is not yours to divvy up. I am also not stupid I know your history. If I let you out I would be dead within moments." The voice scolded Seth then the dying god heard as footfalls walked away from him.

"WAIT DON'T LEAVE ME HERE TO DIE ALONE!" Seth did not want to die he wanted to live he wanted to claim the wife he should have had he wanted to rule the Earth and any other worlds that caught his fancy.

"Fascinating, yet that is what you did to me, brother!" Seth paused as the connotations of what was said sank in.

"Osiris!?" He whispered but the other heard him.

"Yes brother it was my sword in the hands of the new Isis Warrior that finally gave me my revenge." Osiris hissed at his evil sibling.

"But you're dead why are you not in here!?" Seth asked confused.

"I rule the underworld brother. My wife restored me for the most part, so I am not dead. Your wife wants nothing to do with you after all you tried to replace her with my wife. There is no one that wants to allow you to live." Osiris told his brother though there was no glee in his voice at this turn of events just sadness and loss.

"Even if you were freed brother you have no magic. You cannot heal the damage done by my sword. You would die anyway. I can sense you are dying now brother." Osiris told him, as Seth understood what he meant.

"NO MAKE THIS STOP! LET ME OUT!" Seth tried to free himself but there was no movement in his coffin.

"It is almost done now brother once your soul is freed to me your body will remain interned here for an eternity. Though your soul will live that long but it will not be a pleasant eternity brother far from it." The pity and sadness changed to rage and made Seth shiver.

"I have followers they will free me then I will make sure your death is permanent this time brother. I will take Isis as mine as well as her warrior! Those that beat me will become my elite guards and will destroy the Earth!" Seth told Osiris, as he got weaker with each word.

"No brother, your followers have long since died out as have all the gods of the Pantheon. You have finished your life at the hands of Isis and her warriors. If you did get free it would not help you. As you have no powers no organs, no brains. Remember the mummification process brother. Though I think Imhotep left in your brain." Osiris told Seth as he tried to fight his way free.

"AAWW it is almost done brother your struggles only make your death come more quickly." Osiris told him.

Seth stopped struggling but it was too late. He saw a black glow over his heart. It was an opalescent glowing black orb with a dark rainbow of colors. Though they were so dark, they almost looked black. Seth reached up to touch his soul but he could not move. He was surprised he was still alive with his soul out of his body. He then noticed a thread of the black orb was still attached itself to him. He tried to move to grasp his sacred soul to keep what was his. Then he watched as a ghostly hand with the signet ring of Osiris came through the head of his tomb. It moved over the top of him and grabbed his black soul.

"AAAARRRRRGGGGGG!" Seth screamed in pain as Osiris ripped away the final connection of Seth to his soul.

Seth watched as the hand and his soul vanished. What was left of his vision slowly faded to black. He tried to stay awake. He tried not to succumb to the evitable. He however was losing his fight to live. As his body slowly grew colder as each part of it finally died. He tried to keep his mind alert he did not need his organs he was a god all he needed was his mind! Then he would figure a way to get out of this tomb. He would reclaim his soul and take Osiris' soul from him. He would force it to merge with him and make him stronger and more powerful. He would not lose he would not allow his desires to be taken from him.

"I am, sorry things turned out this way Seth. We were so close as children all of us were. Goodbye brother there is no mercy for you only torment." Osiris' voice made his final speech as he walked away Seth died.

Seth's body languished in his tomb for years. No one came to pay, him their respects. No one came to the god of chaos. Seth was interned alone for almost a little over ten years. Many of those that fought him were gone except those of Jusendo Valley as they alone lived long lives and knew of two attempts of Seth trying to take over the world. They were still in contact with the Isis Warriors and had branched out to the neighboring villages for trade. However, their valley was still protected by Isis and the Druids as they called upon the Isis Warriors when needed.

There was movement as shadows were cast upon the walls of the tomb. The shadows moved through the hall of gods. They knew where to find their leader. He was dead but they would find a way to bring him back. They needed to bring him back. He was what gave their lives purpose. They found the tomb. It was sealed with runes to prevent freeing the evil god. Those that were there did not care. They dug around the stone that hid their leader's body. They knew they would free his body it was his soul, which they had to figure how to get back.

When the stone started to move, they quickly pulled it free. They then pulled out the marble box that held his coffin. They put it on the floor and pried, open the lid. Inside was the coffin with his likeness. Two of them each lifted the coffin of their ruler from the marble box. The other two then grasped either side and together they moved toward a black vortex. They entered the vortex and as the last shadow stepped through, she turned to look back toward the tomb of the gods. She was voluptuous with long brown hair with black and white strips on either side of her face. Her face was covered in shadows but her glowing red eyes could be seen in the darkness. She turned and vanished through the vortex.

Seth floated in a vacuum his body still wrapped in bandages but no longer in his coffin. He was still dead; he would remain that way without his soul. As a god, if his soul were returned to his body he would live again. The problem was that the source of his magic as well as his soul needed to be found and replaced. It did not matter when as long as they were not destroyed but the warriors of Seth would find where Imhotep and Osiris put them then their ruler would rise again and take his revenge.

The body continued to float for decades protected from detection though the Pantheon knew his body was gone the warriors did not replace the stone. They could not find him since he was dead. There was no energy to detect. He was also protected by the void where he was stored. He rested quietly waiting for his warriors as they would restore him and together they return and seek revenge against those that had done this to him.
