"The Evolution of the Game."

The episode begins with a flashback of Alex, sitting on the beach, staring out into the distance. This scene is immediately followed by the deliverance of Chris's opening lines.

Chris: "Previously on Total Drama Island….Insanity!"

The sun, that is slowly setting above the young boy, illuminates the view and a white flash overtakes the scene. When the light fades, a new scene emerges, and Doug and Alex can be seen fighting in the middle of the woods.

Chris: "Alex and Doug's rivalry caused a rift in the Screaming Gophers; And it put Josh right in the middle!"

Josh is shown being torn between alliances before putting the final nail in Doug's coffin.

Chris: "In the end, Josh's loyalty to Alex and Krystal left Doug with a bitter taste in his mouth and a long trip home."

Doug is shown walking down the dock of shame, towards the boat of losers.

Chris: "But Josh wasn't the only one making enemies…"

A close up of Josh's face is shown, before being overtaken by the redundant white flash , and revealing an arrogant smirk.

Chris: "Steven's constant need for power has ostracized himself, and turned even his closest allies against him."

Vittoria and Steven are shown fighting after he threw her under the bus to the Screaming Gophers.

Chris: "With his back against the wall, he had only one strategy… to win."

Steven is shown force feeding Vittoria, and ultimately coming out victorious in last week's challenge.

Chris: "With the power to bring back the eliminated contestant of their choice, Steven and Hector selected the players that they thought would best benefit their game."

Doug and Wyatt are shown making their return to Camp Wawanakwa.

Chris: "How will Doug and Wyatt affect an already bitter power struggle? Find out tonight, on Total...Drama...Island...Insanity!"

The recap ends with a spiteful Doug, vowing revenge.

Camp Wawanakwa.

Like many mornings before this one, the sun can be seen shining down onto the treacherous waters below, and the birds can be heard chirping in the distance. Regardless of this pleasant scenery (that is accompanied by a slight breeze), there is tension in the air that travels throughout the camp grounds. Vittoria can be seen emerging from the girls cabin, and stepping out onto the deck. She immediately spots Steven out of the corner of her eye, and begins to vigorously file at her nails. The devious boy walks past Krystal, who has just left the girl's bathroom and gloomily makes her way back to the girls cabin. From across the battered field, Jonathon can be seen silently observing the girl's silent sorrows, as he himself drowns in misery. Nourhan walks past the teen who is engaging in self pity, and does nothing but stick her nose up at him. As she passes Vittoria, she knocks the nail filer out of her hand, and continues on into the cabin.

Nourhan: "Oops!"

Nourhan slams the door behind her, just before the peaceful chirping is broken by a screaming Vittoria. When the girl continues to scream, Nourhan begins opening and slamming the door repeatedly in an effort to one up her. Vittoria immediately catches wind of this, and begins to wail even louder. A drowsy Hailey makes her way to the door's entrance.

Haley: "What's going on? It's six in the mo-"

Before the girl can finish, Nourhan accidently hits her with the door. Haley is immediately knocked unconscious, and falls to the floor. Nourhan gasps and kneels over the girl, much to Vittoria's amusement, who continues to scream.

Confessional Booth: Vittoria.

Vittoria is sitting in the confessional booth with her legs crossed, and her lips pursed.

Vittoria: "It's sweet and all that Nourhan thinks she can "out diva" me, but I've been perfecting the art since I was five!"

Vittoria rolls her eyes and raises all five fingers on her right hand.

Vittoria: "In first grade my teacher told me that I needed to "share" the crayons with the rest of the class, even though I specifically told him at least ten times that I needed all of them to complete my self portrait, because I'm just that colorful of a human being! So I ate all eighteen colors, and then shit the rainbow for the next week and a half!"

Vittoria crosses her arms and smiles snidely.

Vittoria: "Needless to say, no on here can steal the spotlight from me! Not Nourhan, and especially not Steven!"

The Lake.

A slender, tall boy can be seen jogging around the lake. Upon further observation, this boy is revealed to be Doug. It's extremely evident that the boy is exhausted, but his legs are relentless. No matter how much sweat pours down his face, or how many laps he completes, he doesn't stop. A close up of Doug's face is shown, and the only thing more visible than the strenuous effort he is putting into this exercise, is the absolute disdain he has for the people who betrayed him.

Confessional Booth: Doug.

Doug: "The first time I played this game, the three dork-ateers made a fool out of me."

Doug is so angry as he speaks that his voice is actually shaking.

Doug: "I've never been so humiliated in my life!"

The veins in Doug's neck are so large that they look like they are about to burst through his skin.

Doug: "But now I have another chance to right what was wronged and this time I'm not trusting anyone, especially Joshua."

The Lake.

Doug is about to finish another lap, when Josh timidly approaches the scene. Doug's demeanor immediately changes and he closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and slowly comes to a halt.

Doug: "Can I help you?"

Although trying to conceal his anger, the coldness in his words cause Josh to sigh.

Josh: "I'm just here to clear the air."

Doug crosses his arms, and leans his body against the nearest tree.

Doug: "I'm listening."

Josh lets out another sigh before attempting to explain his side of the story.

Confessional Booth: Josh.

Josh: "My friendship with Doug ended on a horrible note."

Josh laughs after saying this.

Josh: "I stuck with the original alliance I had, and now it's kind of screwed me."

Regardless of his situation, Josh is still smiling.

Josh: "But, I really think I can turn this whole thing around. I never wanted to vote out Doug in the first place, I just didn't really have a choice. So now, if I play my cards right, I might come out of this with another player on my side."

The Lake.

After his confessional "fuzzes" out, Josh continues to explain his thought process to Doug.

Josh: "It just made more sense to go with the numbers. If I voted with you, there would've been a tie and who knows what would've happened."

Doug rolls his eyes and shrugs.

Doug: "So what you're saying is, you're only loyal to me as long as everyone else is."

Josh sighs again and begins to shake his head and backtrack.

Josh: "No, I'm saying I made a mistake."

Josh hangs his head remorsefully, and soft music begins to play in the background.

Josh: "I just didn't have enough faith in myself to take the lead and sway the vote another way."

Doug looks perplexed at this thought and is immediately intrigued by what Josh is saying.

Josh: "It's just like I told you that day on the beach…"

Josh's voice cracks and his glasses begin to fog up.

Josh: "I've always been terrified of doing things on my own… But it's different now!"

Doug looks away from the boy, avoiding eye contact.

Josh: "I'm different now! You were a good friend to me, Doug, and I should've been there and I'm sorry I wasn't."

Doug turns to Josh and smiles at him bleakly.

Josh: "I can help you integrate with the others. I know you and Alex have had your differences, but I can help get you to the end!"

The sincerity in his words are only further proven by the passion in his eyes.

Josh: "I can fix what was broken, if you just let me."

Josh outstretches his hand towards Doug, who can be seen contemplating an old friends promises.

Confessional Booth: Doug.

Doug is nearly tear ridden in the confessional booth, and the devastation that has plagued him since his elimination can be seen all over his face.

Doug: "I believe everything that Josh is telling me, I really do…"

Doug breaks eye contact with the camera lense, and looks to his side.

Doug: "But on the beach that day, I confided in him too…"

The teen lifts his head, and locks his gaze with the camera once again.

Doug: "I told him that I was terrified of failure, and then he single handedly made that fear a reality."

Doug's voice begins to shake, as the anger and resentment continues to grow inside of him.

Doug: "And now I'm going to make sure that he feels what I felt the night that he sent me home!"

The Lake.

Doug forces a nod and a smile before clasping his hand into Josh's.

The Cabin Porch.

With a white flash transitioning the scene, Alex is revealed to be sitting on the porch with his head hung low. When he hears a familiar voice, Alex raises his head, rests it on his knuckles, and gives a bleak smile.

Alex: "Hey, where have you been?"

Josh walks up the first two steps, and sits on the third.

Josh: "Just had to clear the air with Doug."

Confusion overcomes Alex, and he begins to ponder the reasoning behind Josh's actions.

Alex: "Wait, what? Why?"

Josh, not understanding the sensitivity of the situation, shrugs.

Josh: "Because he's my friend, and we left things on bad terms."

Alex clenches his fists, and stands up angrily.

Alex: "Yea? Is that maybe because he said nobody likes me and then tried to sabotage our friendship?!"

Josh laughs in disbelief and shakes his head.

Josh: "He didn't sabotage anything, you're just getting paranoid again."

Alex returns Josh's laugh, followed by an eyeroll.

Alex: "Again?"

Josh lets out a loud sigh and slides his fingers under his glasses.

Josh: "You know what I meant. It's not like he's replacing you, Alex, we just need him for numbers."

Alex rolls his eyes and throws his arms down in defeat.

Alex: "Don't lie to me, we already have the numbers."

As Alex walks down the porch steps, Josh stands up and yells one last desperate plea.

Josh: "Just trust me, and let me handle this!"

Josh's pleas reaches deaf ears, and Alex continues to walk away. The troubled boy sighs once again and rests his body back down against the porch steps.

The Beach.

Alex is sitting on the beach, with his jeans rolled up above his knees. He has his legs submerged beneath the ocean, and his fingers surrounded by the warmth of the sand. In this moment he is reminded of the day that he was isolated from his friends, and saw nothing but a flawed reflection in the water beneath him.

Confessional Booth: Alex.

Alex: "My hatred for Doug definitely stems from jealousy."

Resentment and sorrow are both present in his voice when he speaks.

Alex: "He's athletic and popular, and that's the kind of person that people have gravitated towards my entire life; And I know that's someone I'll never be. "

He pauses for a second, before continuing on.

Alex: "So when Josh is with him more than he's with me, it does hurt. But I came out here to break the status quo, and show people that I don't have to meet a certain kind of stereotype to find success."

Alex nods.

Alex: "I think that makes this game a lot more personal for me than it is for the others; And I'll stop at nothing to see it through."

The Woods.

The sound of Josh and Doug joining their hands signals the transition into the next scene. Doug can now be seen walking through the woods, his saviour by his side.

Doug: "I still don't understand why you saved me and not your sister. "

Steven rolls his eyes at the "judgement" that Doug has just passed.

Steven: "I'm sorry, are you complaining? Do you want to go back to a house full of losers?!"

Doug begins to frantically shake his head, and withdraw his previous statement.

Doug: "No! You misunderstood me! What I meant to say wa-"

Steven stops dead in his tracks and begins to scream at Doug.

Steven: "I'm sorry, are you now accusing me of not understanding your stupidity?!"

Steven, who is clearly offended, places an open hand on his chest.

Doug: "No, I just me-"

Steven throws his hand away from his body, and puts it in front of Doug's face.

Steven: "Just, stop talking!"

Confessional Booth: Steven.

Steven is sitting cross legged, and rolling his eyes up, towards the leaky ceiling.

Steven: "Obviously I didn't choose Doug for his brains, because he doesn't have any. I chose him because I need to dig up some dirt on the Gophers! Duh!"

Steven makes a point of saying this in a tone that infers this should be apparent to everyone.

The Woods.

Steven begins to explain his plan as slowly and as loudly as possible to make sure that Doug can understand him.

Steven: "You were a member of the Screaming Gophers, which means you have inside intel on them."

Doug begins to frantically dig through his pockets.

Doug: "Hold on, I need to take notes!"

Steven rolls his eyes, and crosses his arms.

Steven: "Didn't you say you got a 4.0?"

Doug: "I did! Top of my class!"

Steven lets out a deep sigh and mumbles the word "liar" under his breath.

Confessional Booth: Steven.

Steven has maintained the same posture he had during his last confessional.

Steven: "Clearly, I picked the wrong Gopher!"

The Woods.

A now impatient Steven grabs Doug by his shoulders, and begins to shake him vigorously.

Steven: "You don't need to take notes, you just need to listen!"

Doug immediately goes cross eyed from all the shaking.

Steven: "The Gophers have us outnumbered, and so I need someone to fill me in on their team dynamics to help me find a crack in the alliance!"

Doug: "Ooooh, is that where I come in?"

Steven sighs before placing his forefinger and thumb against the temple of his forehead.

Steven: "Yes!"

Doug shrugs and gives him a cocky smile.

Doug: "Why didn't you just say so? I hate those dweebs!"

Steven raises his head back up, and smiles mischievously.

Steven: "I'm listening."

Doug shakes his head in a rather smug fashion.

Doug: "Nope, not until you promise that we target who I want out at the next Campfire Ceremony!"

Steven's face scrunches up at Doug's response.

Steven: "And how do I know it's not going to be one of my allies?!"

Doug shakes his head, once again.

Doug: "It's not, it's one of the Gophers.

Steven rolls his eyes and reluctantly complies with this request.

Steven: "Fine, I'll vote out whoever you want! Now, tell me!"

Doug smiles menacingly before carrying up his end of the bargain.

Doug: "Alex, Krystal, and Josh are the ones you have to worry about. They're inseparable!"

Steven smiles, satisfied with the information he has just received.

Steven: "Perfect! Then the others must've noticed by now and we can just turn everyone against them!"

Doug shakes his head, putting an end to Steven's daydream.

Doug: "No, everyone is buying what they're selling. If we want to take a shot at them, our best chance is to turn them against each other!"

Steven sighs again.

Steven: "How are we supposed to do that if they're inseparable?!"

Doug lets out a very short winded laugh.

Doug: "Because I know all of their insecurities."

Doug grins before turning his attention to the bush beside them, and pulling apart the leaves that block their view. When he does this, Alex is revealed to be sitting on the beach, with his legs in the water. The camera begins to pan out and reveals Steven and Doug exchanging a very similar smile.

Total Drama Island: Insanity! Intro.

As the opening theme begins to play cameras begin to pop out of strange places, including an underground burrow and a tree. As the last camera comes out, a clapperboard is held in front of the camera and is slammed shut.

"Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine…."

The camera goes past the dock of shame revealing the Camp Wawanakwa sign. As the scenery continues to be shown, the camera rushes past Chris then continues up the ever so familiar mountain before going over the cliff and through the ring, venturing into the treacherous waters!

"….You guys are on my mind!"

Hector is shown happily swimming in the water before being frightened after seeing a shark and rushing towards the surface.

"You asked me what I wanted to be, and now I think the answer is plain to see…."

As Hector emerges from the surface, Wyatt and a crying Sarah are seen floating past him on an old, gray plank. From behind his back, Wyatt pulls out Sarah's teddy bear and holds it towards her, much to her delight. However, just as he does so, a hawk sweeps down and snatches it, sending Sarah back into hysterics.

"I wanna be famous!"

The hawk flies above Steven, who is in the forest surrounded by pumpkins. As snakes begin to make their way out of the pumpkins, Steven screams like the little girl he is deep down and begins to run. As the camera zooms out, Nathalie is seen holding a snake and smiling as Jonathon puts his hands on his hips and raises his left brow at her before the sun's vibrant light overcomes this view.

"I wanna live close to the sun."

As the sunlight retracts and a new scene is revealed, Josh and Doug are seen bickering at each other on a raft before going over a waterfall.

"Well, pack your bags 'cuz I've already won."

Matt is seen standing on a long and narrow log, with one hand in the air and one hand on his heart, reciting what looks to be a play in a rather over dramatic light.

"Everything to prove, nothing in my way."

Kelly swings by on a vine, grabbing Matt by the collar of his shirt and taking him along for the ride. As they rush past parts of the camp, she drops Matt into the outhouse which falls over because of this. Courtney tumbles out of the outhouse and walks around slightly dazed before falling over, hitting the ground rather hard.

"I'll get there one day."

The camera pans through the cafeteria window, showing Chef making some kind of disgusting grub before going over to Sam and Eric who are looking at each other dreamily before a spoonful of Chef's food is shoved between them. Looks of disgust are shared between the two before Nourhan and Noah are seen laughing together at a nearby table.

"I wanna be famous!"

As the scene changes to the outdoors, both Kimi and Vittoria are seen admiring Alex who is in the water looking at himself in a small hand mirror.

"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na…"

As Alex smiles at himself in the mirror it shatters into a dozen pieces, much to his dismay.

"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"

The camera pans over to the Dock of Shame where the hawk drops Sarah's teddy bear into Krystal's arm. Krystal grins maniacally at this before pulling a lighter out of her pocket and setting the small girl's bear on fire. As laughter continues to erupt from her mouth, she throws the doll up into the air.

"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"

As the burning stuffed animal falls from the sky, the daylight shifts to night. The bear falls down in between Haley and Henry, who are about to kiss when Brooke, whose hair is now on fire, pops up between them. As the camera begins to zoom out, the twenty-two campers are revealed to be sitting at the Bonfire Ceremony. All of them are whistling with the exception of Brooke who is screaming, Krystal who is laughing, and Sarah who is crying hysterically.

The Cabins.

When the episode resumes, a wide shot of the two cabins is shown. Blissful music is playing as the sun shines overhead, and birds can be heard chirping in the background. Inside the cabins, however, there is a much darker tone. The windows have been covered with black blankets, and all the lightbulbs have been removed from the cabin. Krystal is seen sitting on her bed, criss cross applesauce, and has just finished applying the last layer of black lipstick to her face. When Nourhan enters the room, she is very shocked to find what appears to be the setting of a horror movie.

Nourhan: "Uhm… Is everything okay?"

Krystal closes her eyes and begins to nod.

Krystal: "The depression of the loss of my sister has reignited the gothic flame within me."

Nourhan raises her eyebrow, in a similar fashion to Jonathon.

Nourhan: "Oh? You know they don't bind them and throw them in the ocean after they're voted out….Wyatt told me the jury house is really ni-"

Krystal raises her frail hand to the girl.

Krystal: "Please! I can't bear to hear of the pain inflicted upon my dearest sister!"

Nourhan's eyes begin to dart around the room as if looking for a hidden camera before remembering she is already on a reality show.

Krystal: "And I ask that you only refer to me by my spirit name, Kristana!"

Nourhan: "...Is this a joke?"

Confessional Booth: Nourhan.

Nourhan: "If I had to choose my favorite person still in the game, I'd probably have to go with Krys- , I mean Kristana….."

Nourhan takes a second to gather her thoughts, pondering on what to call the girl moving forward.

Nourhan: "I understand why she's upset she lost the returning players challenge, but this is ridiculous!"

The Cabins.

Nourhan walks over to the girl's bed, and sits beside her.

Krystal: "Don't worry, my rebirth doesn't change what I promised you. I'll put in a good word with the others and do my best to keep you around."

Nourhan laughs and shakes her head.

Nourhan: "I'm not here as an ally, I'm here as a friend. I'm kind of worried about you…"

Krystal reaches under her mattress, and pulls out a spell book.

Krystal: "If you're really my friend, you'll help me hex Steven!"

Nourhan's eyes widen until all that can be seen are her pupils.

Nourhan: "So considering you just said that on camera, probably not the best idea…"

Nourhan gives a nervous laugh, before slowly inching the book away from the girl. In response, Krystal sighs and dangles her feet off the edge of the bed. When Nourhan sees this, she gives her a reassuring smile and rests her hand on the girls back.

Nourhan: "Don't be upset, you have the right idea! Get pissed, don't get sad!"

Krystal looks up at Nourhan, her eyes now glistening with excitement.

Krystal: "Do you have something in mind?!"

Nourhan frowns when Krystal says this.

Nourhan: "Not as of right now, but I'm sure if we put our heads together we can think of something!"

The two girls smile at one another, pleased with this newfound resolve.

Confessional Booth: Kristana.

Several candles are lit throughout the confessional booth, and it is unclear whether this is to mask the smell or perform a seance.

Kristana: "I really appreciate what Nourhan is doing for me. I mean, hell, maybe after all this is said and done I will let her join my coven!"

The Boys Restroom.

After the gothic teen finishes her confessional, Alex can be seen brushing his teeth in the bathroom. As he continues to pry the plaque from his teeth, Steven steals the camera's attention when he comes into view.

Steven: "Hey there, scamp!"

After Steven says this, he takes the palm of his hand, and rubs it through Alex's finely combed hair. A feeling of angst overcomes him, and he begins to re-part his hair.

Alex: "What do you want, Steven?"

Steven forces a laugh, before lifting his backside onto the bathroom counter.

Steven: "Do I have to want something? Can't I just enjoy the morning with a good friend?"

Alex spits his toothpaste into the sink beneath him, and turns his attention to the boy on the counter.

Alex: "No, seriously. What's your angle? Because yesterday you sold that sob story pretty hard, and than you were a complete ass to Hector in the challenge."

Steven gives the floor a gloomy stare, rubbing his forearm shyly.

Steven: "I know, I said some pretty awful things yesterday. I just knew what that challenge meant to Krystal, and I still feel extremely guilty for voting her sister out."

Alex takes a second to think this statement over before delivering his final verdict.

Alex: "Well, then maybe you should've thrown the challenge instead of trying to bully Hector out of it!"

Alex outstretches his arm and turns on the rusted faucet.

Steven: "I know… I messed up."

Steven's eyes begin to swell, and gulps loudly.

Steven: "I've just been feeling really alone out here, nobody likes me…. I thought I might gain some friends if I brought back someone from the Gophers, but apparently nobody really likes Doug, so…"

Alex avoids the boy's tear filled eyes, and continues to rinse his mouth out with water.

Steven: "I really need a friend out here… I just thought you could relate."

Steven lets out an over exaggerated sigh. Alex rolls his eyes and sets his toothbrush against the edge of the sink.

Alex: "I'm probably going to regret this but fine, I'll give you another shot."

Steven's alligator tears are immediately wiped clear from his face as he springs off the bathroom counter, and pulls Alex's body into a tight embrace.

Steven: "Oh heaven have mercy, you are the darndest, darn thing I've ever met if I ever met one!"

Alex's cheeks are bloated from the pressure Steven is applying to his airways.

Alex: "What….?"

Confessional Booth: Steven.

Steven is clearly irritated by the line of questioning production has ran by him.

Steven: "What? Playing nice for me is really hard, okay?!"

Confessional Booth: Alex.

The boy shrugs his shoulders carelessly.

Alex: "I don't know if Steven is being genuine or not but I do know that as long as Josh has his head up Doug's butt, I'm going to have to keep my options open."

The boys care-free facade is shattered when he addresses this topic.

Alex: "If Josh wants to align himself with my enemies, then fine. Game on!"

The confessional ends with these spite-filled words.

The Dock.

When the scene transitions, all that can be seen is the blaring sunlight, shining down onto the ocean below. When the camera begins to pan out, the sunlight begins to flicker as it's view becomes blocked by Wyatt's body. The boy can be seen standing on the dock, his face lifted towards the clear sky. His eyes are shut tight as he takes in the heat of the day, and falls into a reminiscent transe of the mornings he spent on this very dock with someone special to him.

Hector: "WYATT!"

The eager boy comes sprinting down the doc, hopping onto his friend's shoulders and knocking them both into the warm water below. Hector is the first to pop his head above the blue abyss, shortly followed by Wyatt. As soon as Wyatt emerges, a fountain of water spouts out of his friend's mouth.

Wyatt: "I missed you, buddy."

Wyatt gives a warm laugh.

Confessional Booth: Wyatt.

The corners of Wyatt's mouth are slightly arched upwards as he speaks.

Wyatt: "It's a weird feeling to be back on the island."

Wyatt begins to make comparisons in his mind of the days he spent at Camp Wawanakwa, to how the island has evolved in his absence.

Wyatt: "Before I left the first time, all of this just seemed like a summer vacation. But after talking to everyone at playa de losers, the game has clearly changed."

Wyatt laughs and hunches his shoulders.

Wyatt: "And now I have a lot of catching up to do."

The Dock.

Both Wyatt and Hector have removed their shirts, and are attempting to squeeze them dry.

Wyatt: "Hold on. So Josh saving you is the reason that Sam is gone?"

Hector nods happily in response, concluding the summary of events that have led to this point.

Wyatt: "Okay, so we can trust the other Gophers?"

Hector nods.

Hector: "But I trust Haley and Henry the most. They had my back the entire time you were gone."

Confessional Booth: Wyatt.

Wyatt: "With Sarah gone, my head is a lot more clear this time around."

Wyatt takes his right hand, and runs it along the top of his head, and then back down.

Wyatt: "I feel so fortunate to be one of the two people to return, that the last thing I want to do is waste this second chance because I couldn't evolve with the game."

The Dock.

Wyatt smiles at Hector, and gives him a friendly pat on the back.

Wyatt: "Thanks for bringing me back, bro."

Wyatt nudges his head to the left, motioning towards the cabins.

Wyatt: "C'mon, let's go get ready for today's challenge."

Hector gives him a huge grin, before cheerfully skipping off towards the camp grounds.

The Stage.

The twelve remaining campers slowly make their way to the stage, where the talent show was previously held, only this time several objects have intruded the area. Three picnic tables can be seen lined up in a bleacher like fashion. On top of these tables are various types of countertops and sinks that look as though they came straight from Chef's kitchen, or possibly a junkyard. Continuing this sporadic decour, several mismatching chairs have been placed in back of each "counter top".

Kristana: "This sight, it's very disturbing… I like it."

Kristana says this with no emotion, a reaction which evokes strange looks exchanged between Haley and Henry. Rounding off the first row, Nourhan sits beside the newly found goth.

Doug: "All right! Is this some sort of sports challenge?!"

Josh smiles and sits next to Doug. The cheerful boy watches as both Alex and Steven approach his row. When Steven sees the hopeful gleam in the boy's eyes, he grabs Alex by his forearm and directs him towards the final row.

Steven: "We should sit up here, away from the traitors!"

Steven ensures that the final part of his sentence is said loud enough for Josh to here.

Alex: "Uhm, okay. Sure."

Overcome with confusion, Alex follows Steven to the top row. This is visibly disappointing to Josh, who immediately looks down at his feet pretending as though he didn't notice that Alex had already arrived.

Confessional Booth: Josh.

Josh's eyes are still glued to the floor when he speaks.

Josh: "I know the whole Doug situation isn't ideal, but I didn't think he'd be this mad at me…"

The gloomy teen lowers his chin to his palms.

Josh: "I hope we can move past this whole thing soon…"

The Stage.

In Alex's absence, the second row is eventually filled by Hector and Wyatt. Jonathan and Vittoria are the last to arrive. When they both head towards the third picnic table, it is evident that Josh is not the only sad camper on this island.

Steven: "How about these crappy challenge props?"

Steven smiles and begins to nudge Jonathon with his elbow.

Steven: "Huh? Huh?"

The boys persistence gets no response what so ever.

Steven: "Really? Nothing?"

Jonathon opens his mouth as if he is about to speak, but lets out a large sigh instead.

Confessional Booth: Steven.

Steven: "I was expecting a snarky comment about productions budget, but nothing?"

Steven places his forefinger and thumb on his chin.

Steven: "Probably something Vittoria did."

The Stage.

After all the campers have settled into their seats, Chris approaches them.

Chris: "Welcome, campers, to your first official merge challenge!"

After Chris says this, Hector erupts into cheers. This annoys Vittoria, who simply rolls her eyes.

Vittoria: "Okay, yea, yea. Can we just get this over with already?!"

Chris squints his eyes at the girl before continuing on.

Chris: "Fine! Today's challenge is…."

Regardless of not being asked, Doug blurts out his own prediction anyways.

Doug: "Is it sports trivia?!"

Chris squints his eyes once again.

Chris: "No, Douglas, it's not sports trivia. That would be the worst challenge anyone could possibly think of."

After Chris says this, Doug mumbles a response under his breath.

Doug: "I'd like it…"

Steven looks over to see Alex growing more and more irritated with every comment.

Steven: "Well, no one cares what you like Doug!"

Alex raises his hand to his mouth, holding back his laughter. Steven smiles at the boy and gives him a wink.

Doug: "Hey! That's not how you talk to your al-"

Steven swiftly takes off his shoe and chucks it at Doug before he can reveal anymore. Chris rolls his eyes, aggravated that he is not receiving the attention he thinks he deserves.

Chris: "As I was saying…. In today's challenge, you will take part in different competitions that will require an extreme amount of endurance and will to survive the excruciating torture!"

Everyone, with the exception of Hector who is cheering, and Kristana who is doing nothing at all, looks mortified.

Kristana: "No amount of torture can compare to the gaping hole that is my heeeeeaaaarrrt."

Nourhan rolls her eyes and places her hand on the girl's shoulder.

Nourhan: "I doubt that will be your thought process in thirty minutes."

Chris: "One at a time, you will each spin the wheel of torture to determine your punishment. You will than have the choice to take the challenge on yourself, or give it to somebody else. You must last ten seconds in each punishment to move on. However, if the person you challenge successfully completes the task, than you will be eliminated. The winner of today's challenge will not only win immunity, but also…"

Chris turns the teens attention to a large, covered item, which Chef unveils.

Chris: "A new trailer!"

All of the teens, excluding Kristana and Jonathon, erupt in cheers.

Chris: "Now, lets get this show on the road! Haley, you're up first."

Haley turns to her boyfriend, who looks at her reassuringly.

Henry: "Good luck!"

Haley smiles back at him, and nods, before making her way to the poorly constructed wheel.

Haley: "Well, here goes nothing!"

The girl out stretches her arms , and grabs the top of the contraption. As the wheel begins to spin, Haley starts to bite her nails in anticipation.

Chris: "Oh, that is not a good one!"

Chris laughs when the wheel stops on a picture of a leech.

Haley: "Is that a picture of a leech?!"

Just as Haley says this, Chef brings out a barrel of leeches and sets it in front of her.

Chris: "It is! And your challenge is to sit in a barrel, full of lake leeches, for ten seconds!"

Haley says nothing. Instead, she simply stares at the barrel in fear. Her eyes are wide open, and her mouth slightly perched. When Henry sees this, he tugs at the collar of his shirt and gives a large gulp.

Chris: "So, what's it going to be? Play or pass?

Haley gives Chris a response, but it is inaudible and mostly filled with words not yet introduced to any known language.

Henry: "I'll take her place!"

The camera pans over to show Henry covering his face, and his hand already raised to the sky. When Chris sees this, he lets out a chuckle and Haley a gasp.

Chris: "And with that, we have our first challenger! Come on down!"

Henry wipes his hand down his face, and to his torso. As he makes his way to the barrel of leeches, he maintains this posture. When he reaches the impending barrel of doom, Haley whispers softly into his ear.

Haley: "You don't have to do this. I could just pass it off to Kristana or something. I'm pretty sure she's into the whole leech thing now."

Beads of sweat are now pouring down Henry's face. Nonetheless, he gives the girl a smile and places his hands on his hips.

Henry: "No way! It's a man's job to protect his woman!"

Haley clasps her hands together and looks at the boy, awestruck.

Haley: "Aww. That is the most romantic thing anyone has ever said to me!"

Henry shrugs his shoulders and looks off into the distance with a significant amount of pride.

Henry: "Well, what can I say? I'm a diehard romantic."

Although their words are exchanged in hushed tones, the camera pans out to reveal that Jonathan has picked up on their body language.

Confessional Booth: Jonathan.

Jonathon's brow is raised as he speaks.

Joanthon: "I'm no Romeo, and I don't exactly consider myself an expert when it comes to romance. But it doesn't take a genius to see that there's something going on between those two. How no one else has figured that out by now is beyond me."

Jonathon rolls his eyes at the thought of this.

The Stage.

When the challenge resumes, Henry has already gotten into the barrel of leeches. At first he seems unaffected by them, but as time goes on he begins to squirm.

Henry: "Hey, it's not that bad."

Henry says this while gritting his teeth and forcing out a laugh.

Henry: "Don't worry, Ha- OW!"

Henry slams his knee against the bucket when they begin to crawl up his legs. Haley watches in agony as her boyfriend's blood is consumed by the small, slug like creatures.

Henry: "Don't worry Haley, it- OW!"

Henry attempts to comfort his girlfriend are drowned out by his cries for help.

Haley: "It's okay Henry, just...hang in there.."

It's clear to everyone in the room that not even Haley believes what she is telling him.

Henry: "OH GOD! MY EYES! NOT MY EYES!"

Henry begins to tug at the leeches that have attached themselves to his eyeballs. After briefly struggling with them, he knocks the barrel over and the leeches come pouring out, covering every inch of his body.

Chris: "Ooooh, that looks painful."

Haley's screams pierce the ears of her fellow contenders, and she runs over to help her boyfriend. As she begins plucking the leeches off of Henry's body, they slowly begin to crawl up her arm, and loud wails emit from her mouth. The camera pans over to show a close up of Kristana's expressionless face.

Kristana: "I can't decide which is more stupid and useless: love or Haley?"

Everyone gasps at Kristana's bluntness. Kristana herself also looks shocked by her own behaviour.

Kristana: "Wow…. That was very rude…. I think the Krystal inside me has died."

Nourhan's face meets her palm.

Confessional Booth: Nourhan.

Nourhan is resting her hands on her knees as she speaks.

Nourhan: "I mean, it could be worst. I could still be stuck on a team with Steven and Vittoria…"

Nourhan's eyes dart to the ceiling.

Nourhan: "Although I am a little scared of Kristana now… It'd be nice to know why she brought a spell book to the island in the first place."

The Stage.

When the game resumes, Henry can be seen in a pillory.

Kristana: "Very medieval of you. I'd like to try one next."

Chris rolls his eyes and shakes his head.

Chris: "Sorry Gothic Krystal, but Alex is up next."

Alex walks past the muttering girl.

Nourhan: "What was that?"

Krystal looks up at the girl and blinks twice.

Kristana: "Don't worry about it."

Nourhan's eyes widen and she looks away.

Confessional Booth: Kristana.

Kristana: "I'd like to think of myself as a good witch, but I will not tolerate being referred to by my earth name. That's very disrespectful."

Regardless of what she has just said, Kristana does not appear to be phased.

The Stage.

When Kristana's confessional ends, Alex spins the wheel and awaits the reveal of his punishment. The unstable contraption spins around several times before stopping on a picture of a turtle.

Chris: "Oh boy!"

Chris laughs maniacally and rubs his hands together.

Chris: "I was hoping someone would get this on-"

Steven: "I'll take this one!"

The camera pans out to reveal that Steven has already left his seat, and is standing next to Alex by the wheel.

Alex: "Really?!"

Alex smiles, a kind gesture which Steven returns with a wink.

Confessional Booth: Alex.

Alex sits in the outhouse, smiling enthusiastically.

Alex: "Maybe Steven was telling the truth after all. Maybe he isn't such a bad guy!"

The Stage.

Chris laughs at Steven's valiant act.

Chris: "You're going to wish you didn't do that because your challenge is to stand in front of this hockey net while Chef attempts to make goals using angry, snapping turtles!"

Chris ends his sentence with yet another laugh. Steven's eyes wander over to Chef who is already preparing a turtle.

Alex: "Wow! Thanks Stevers!"

Oblivious to the teen's true intentions, Alex rubs the top of his head and wanders back to his seat. The camera pans over to show a snickering Nourhan. Steven glares at the girl before forcing a smile.

Steven: "What else are friends for?"

Confessional Booth: Steven.

The veins in Steven's eyes look as though they are about to pop out of his head.

Steven: "Thanks Stevers."

Steven's says this in an incredibly obnoxious tone, while using his hand to imitate the motion of Alex's mouth.

Steven: "You can thank me when I send the shaggy dog and that witch friend of yours down the dock of shame!"

The Stage.

When the scene transitions, Steven takes one last turtle to the nose before falling to the ground.

Chris: "And with that, Steven moves on!"

Everyone, with the exception of Alex and Vittoria, groan. Alex's broken office chair descends, and he returns in a pillory of his very own.

Kristana: "No fair. When do I get to be tortured?"

An exhausted Steven makes his way back to his seat, covered in bruises and scratches.

Alex: "Way to take one for the greater good!"

Alex winks at Steven, who replies through gritted teeth.

Steven: "No problem."

Chris: "Okay Nourhan, you're up!"

Nourhan smiles happily and walks on over to the wheel of torture. She spins it softly, ensuring that it goes slow enough that she can see where the arrow is landing. When it reaches the column she wants, she stops it with her foot.

Nourhan: "Oh, damn! Is that a python? Total bummer."

Steven begins to choke on his own laughter. Nourhan places her forefinger and thumb on her chin before snapping them together.

Nourhan: "Well, I guess I'll have to give it to Steven."

Steven clinches his fists, and stands up.

Steven: "WHAT?! But, Chris! I just went!"

Chris wags his finger at the angry boy.

Chris: "Rules are rules, Steven. But you can always cry uncle?"

Chris squints his eyes and grins.

Nourhan: "You could…"

Nourhan crosses her arms and shrugs.

Nourhan: "But I'm pretty sure everyone here hates you and is voting you out tonight, so…"

Steven rolls his eyes.

Steven: "That's not true! Everyone here loves me! Right, guys?!"

The camera pans out to show that everyone is avoiding eye contact and whistling. Steven stomps his foot on the ground like a child, and marches towards the boxed snake.

Steven: "Just give me the damn python."

Nourhan taunts Steven, making kissy faces at him when he walks past.

Nourhan: "Thanks, Stevers! Way to take one for the greater good!"

Confessional Booth: Nourhan.

Nourhan is in hysterics , wiping tears from her eyes as she laughs.

Nourhan: "Woo! I don't know about Kristana, but murdering Steven with a python is the best revenge I could've asked for!"

Nourhan slaps her knee and continues on with her fit of laugher.

Confessional Booth: Kristana.

Kristana stares at the camera lens and shrugs.

Kristana: "Watching a python smother Steven was okay. I would've preferred a sacrificial ceremony of some sort. Maybe if we had him eat Kimi's heart or something…."

Kristana looks away.

Kristana: "Just like he ate mine."

The Stage.

Kristana's confessional fuzzes out just in time to see Steven pass out from lack of oxygen.

Chris: "Well, Nourhan, I'm very sorry to say this…. No, seriously. This is very painful for me to say but Steven lasted eleven seconds, which means you're out!"

Nourhan smiles and shrugs.

Nourhan: "Totally worth it."

Nourhan walks past Steven, who is being bit on the back of the head. Chris takes in one last moment of Steven's torture, and then turns his attention back to the camera.

Chris: "Now, let's take a look at the contestants who weren't quite as brave, and cried uncle!"

With a white flash overtaking the scene, a montage of torture begins. Hector is first, who is shown to now be wearing wooden shorts with a padlock on them.

Hector: "Cool! I've always wanted wooden shorts, but my parents would never get them for me!"

Hectors optimistic attitude is shattered when Chef Hatchet holds up a small twig, with a woodpecker on it. The small bird begins furiously pecking at the twig, causing the terrified teen to shriek, and cover his crotch. Another white flash ensues as some catchy music begins to play, and the wheel begins to spin. Following yet another flash, Haley has melted marshmallows poured on her face, that muffle out her screams. The final person shown in the montage is Wyatt, who attempts to jump across a set of rocks, with skunks inbetween them. As he is nearing the end, the final skunk sprays him, and he falls, nothing but his unmentionables to cushion him. All the men on the stage "ooo" in unison, feeling his pain.

Chris: "Well Vittoria, you're up next!"

Vittoria rolls her eyes and makes her way down the set of picnic tables. Once she reaches the wheel, she gives it one big spin. After a few seconds, it lands on a picture of a box.

Chris: "Vittoria, your challenge is to last ten seconds in a wooden crate with Sasquatchanakwa! Assuming you don't want to die today, who would you like to inflict this torture on?"

Vittoria looks over to her competitors, and begins to tap her chin.

Vittoria: "Hmm…"

Everyone , with the exception of Jonathon and Alex, begin to chant Steven's name. A confident Steven props his feet onto the rusted sink in front of him, and puts his hands behind his head.

Steven: "About time some of you brats get some real tor-"

Before Steven can finish his sentence, Vittoria makes her decision.

Vittoria: "Steven!"

Stevens eyes pop open, and he bolts up out of his chair.

Steven: "WHAT?!"

Confessional Booth: Vittoria.

Vittoria shrugs carelessly.

Vittoria: "I probably would've picked Nourhan, but she was already out."

Vittoria looks down at her hand, and begins to file her nails.

Vittoria: "Besides, who died and made Steven king? If he's lucky, he can be my queen."

Vittoria looks up at the camera snidely.

Vittoria: "But only if he's lucky!"

The Stage.

Steven makes his way towards death's door, only stopping once he reaches Vittoria.

Steven: "You will pay for this!"

VIttoria rolls her eyes and shrugs.

Vittoria: "Eh. Doubtful."

The snooty girl walks back to her seat. Steven grits his teeth and clenches his fists, before giving a large gulp and heading into the crate.

Kristana: "I hope he dies in there."

Nourhan nods in her restraints.

Nourhan: "Yea, I think we all do."

After their brief exchange, screams begin emitting from the enclosed space. The crate begins to shake vigorously, with spurts of blood spraying out the sides. Throughout the entire altercation, Vittoria files her nails, making it incredibly apparent that she could care less what happens to her old ally. After ten and a half seconds, Steven's body is thrown through the crate, soars through the air, and lands in his rusted sink.

Vittoria: " At least he can rinse the blood off."

Jonathon gives Vittoria a cold glare.

Jonathon: "Really, Vic?"

Vittoria raises both her hands to her shoulders, indicating that she is unsure of what she has done wrong.

Vittoria: "What? It's true."

With only half of the campers remaining, a white flash illuminates the screen and the catchy theme begins to play. This time, the wheel stops on a picture of ice cream. Following the challenge's reveal, Doug is shown eating ice cream by the scoopful. Although there are several cartons around him, and he seems up to the challenge, he only makes it to the eight second mark before receiving the worst brain freeze of his life. Kristana is than shown to be having new age music torture inflicted upon her. She clenches her headphones in agony, wanting to take them off, but realizing that there are only three campers left, and Steven is one of them, she toughs it out. Josh is the next camper to be shown, who accepts his own challenge, and is electrocuted by eels several times until the ten second mark is reached. Next up is Jonathon, who takes on his first challenge in the form of a poison ivy facial. Although he gives it a respectable amount of effort, the itching becomes too much for him to endure, and he drops out at the nine second mark. The montage ends with what appears to be Steven wearing a jacket of bees, several of which have already stung him.

Chris: "Well Steven, since you haven't whined in the last half hour, I'll let you pick the next camper and their punishment."

By this time of the day, Steven's face is badly bruised, his clothes are torn in several areas, and many of his limbs look disfigured.

Steven: "I pick Josh, and the picture of the chain saw."

Immediately after Steven says this, Chef revs up his chainsaw, causing Josh to gasp loudly. Steven attempts to give a wink in Alex's direction, but puss begins to squirt out of his eyes.

Chris: "Your challenge, Josh, is to last ten seconds in Chef Hatchet's hair salon!"

Josh crosses his arms smugly, and shakes his head.

Josh: "Nu - uh. No way. I refuse to part with these luscious locks!"

Josh begins whipping his hair in all sorts of directions.

Jonathon: "To be fair, it looks like a furby died on your head."

Josh looks up at Jonathon angrily before being put in his pillory.

Chris: "With that, we are down to our final two contestants!"

Chris walks over to the wheel and rips off the final card.

Chris: "Kristana, your final challenge is to last ten seconds on this log…"

The camera pans over to the water where there is a long log resting by the shore.

Chris: "With this brown grizzly…"

The camera pans out to reveal a large, brown, grizzly bear.

Chris: "Who just so happens to be the European logrolling champion, for the last twelve years!"

Steven immediately begins to whimper under his blanket of bees.

Kristana: "Well, Chris. I guess I'm going to have to pass this one off to Steven."

Steven falls to his knees and begins to scream at the sky above.

Steven: "WHY GOD?! WHY?!"

The sudden motion from him dropping to his knees causes the bees to go wild and relentlessly sting him.

Confessional Booth: Steven.

Steven's words are hardly audible due to the severe swelling in his face, throat, tongue, and every other inch of his body.

Steven: "I did not get stabbed in the back by Vittoria, bitten by dozens of snapping turtles, assaulted by Sasquatchanakwa, nearly killed by a python, and stung by dozens of bees to lose now!"

The anger in Steven's voice continues to rise as he speaks.

Steven: "If I have to, I will win every last damn challenge until the final two! I will take them all out, one by one! They'll see. They'll all se-"

Steven's confessional is cut short.

The Stage.

Steven's confessional is interrupted by the loud thud his head makes when it smacks against the log.

Chris: "Congratulations, Gothic Krisco! You have won the first immunity challenge and a brand new piece of cra- I mean trailer."

Kristana walks over to Chris, and gives him a cold stare.

Kristana: "My name is Kristana."

Everyone erupts in cheers, elated that Steven has just lost what seems to be his only remaining hope. Nourhan runs up to Kristana and hugs her.

Nourhan: "Oh my god, Kris! You did it!"

Kristana's body does not move in the slightest.

Kristana: "Please no hugs. I wanted to know what it felt like to be in a pillory, so this entire situation is very upsetting to me."

Nourhan pulls away from the girl and gives a nervous laugh.

Nourhan: "Oh, sorry!"

Outside of the Cabins.

After the challenges conclusion, Doug, Jonathon and Vittoria can be seen sitting outside of what used to be the Screaming Gophers cabin. An angry, and now bandaged Steven, walks up the porch steps.

Steven: "Way to go Vittoria! Thanks to you, we lost today's challenge!"

Vittoria, who is sitting cross legged, rolls her eyes.

Vittoria: "Oh, don't get your panties in a wad. We would've lost anyways."

Steven rolls his eyes and begins to berate the girl.

Steven: "Even if we still lost, at least I wouldn't have to had experience what it was like to get an epi pen stuck up my ass by Chef Hatchet!"

Vittoria snorts at this revelation.

Vittoria: "I didn't give you the bee challenge, that's all on you."

It's clear by her tone that Vittoria is not taking the situation seriously at all, and actually finds it quite humorous.

Steven: "Oh, you're right. You just sent me into a crate so that I could be killed by a sasquatch!"

Although Vittoria is still laughing, there is now more anger than humor in her tone.

Vittoria: "Steven, you did all of this to yourself. You threw me under the bus to the Gophers and made me look like the biggest liar out here! And now, we're all on the bottom!"

Steven squints his eyes at her, before reaching to his left, and ripping a piece of parchment off the front door.

Steven: "Well, did it ever occur to you that we have to work together because there is a note taped to the cabin door that says: "DO NOT ENTER (If you are Vittoria, Jonathon, or Steven) - MAJORITY ALLIANCE MEETING IN SESSION :) " !"

Vittoria shrugs.

Vittoria: "So? It has a smiley face on it."

Steven stomps his feet on the porch, like a child, and begins to wail loudly. While he is doing so, Doug stands up and walks towards the cabin door.

Doug: "Sorry, I didn't realize my name wasn't on the note. So I'm gonna go…"

Doug quickly opens the door and slams it shut behind him. Jonathon says nothing, but buries his face in his hands.

Confessional Booth: Jonathon.

Jonathon looks incredibly glum throughout his entire confessional.

Jonathon: "At the food challenge yesterday, I realized that voting out Nathalie was a huge mistake."

Jonathon leans down, resting his chin on his palms.

Jonathon: "Not only do I feel like an ass, but my alliance has pretty much imploded so…"

Jonathon lets out a deep sigh.

Jonathon: "I'd say our odds of winning at this point are about .0005%."

Inside the Cabin.

All of the Screaming Gophers, and Nourhan, are gathered inside the tight space.

Henry: "So, we're all in agreeance than? Steven's going home tonight."

Everyone nods in response to his question.

Henry: "And, Nourhan? You're really with us, all the way?"

Nourhan confirms this with a nod.

Nourhan: "I'm done playing with them, I want to stick with this group until the very end."

Kristana looks over at the girl, then back to Henry.

Kristana: "You can trust her. I promise, her word is good."

Nourhan gives the girl a warm smile.

Henry: "Okay, then Steven it is."

Not everyone is feeling as warm and fuzzy as the honorary gopher. In the corner of the room is Alex, who seems rather upset with the decision made.

Confessional Booth: Alex.

Alex: "I would actually prefer to keep Steven tonight, because I think he could be really useful for me down the road, but my hands are tied in this situation."

Alex smiles, but looks very distressed under this misleading demeanor.

Alex: "The numbers are against him, and tonight's going to be a landslide. So, I'm going to have to just go with the plan. "

Inside the Cabin.

While the numerous allies hug each other and seem completely satisfied with their plan to oust Steven, a close up of Doug's face is shown. A face that seems anything but happy with the impending vote.

Confessional Booth: Doug.

Doug: "Tonight the Gophers want to get rid of Steven, but that doesn't really benefit me."

While Doug speaks, he is once again shown to be second guessing everyone else's plans. Through the reflection in his eyes, Josh can be seen hugging Kristana.

Doug: "I still don't trust Josh and waiting any longer to break up that trio, it only gives them more power. So tonight has to be the night we make our move."

The Woods.

After everyone has departed the cabin, Doug pulls Wyatt aside and the two venture off into the woods, where no one can hear them.

Doug: "So, where is your head at right now?"

While discussing strategy, the two returnees continue to walk side by side.

Wyatt: "I honestly never built a strong enough bond with these people to even say who I can trust. The only person I even talk to here is Hector."

Doug and Wyatt both stop dead in their tracks.

Doug: "That's just it. We've both been gone so long, that we aren't even part of whatever they have going on. Once we take out the Bass, you and I are going to be the first two to go."

Wyatt looks at the ground and gulps.

Doug: "And those three are really strong."

Wyatt meets Doug's gaze once again.

Wyatt: "Who? Alex, Krystal, and Josh?"

Doug nods.

Wyatt: "Well, what are you saying we do about it?"

Doug: "I think our best shot is with the Bass. If you and I flip, and you bring in Hector, we would have the votes to force a tie."

Wyatt lets out a deep sigh.

Wyatt: "But if we tie, than we have to draw rocks."

Doug shakes his head.

Doug: "Steven has been working on Alex, and he's pissed at Josh. I think he would flip at the revote."

Wyatt bites his bottom lip, pondering over the various outcomes tonight's campfire ceremony could have.

Confessional Booth: Wyatt.

Wyatt: "Everything that Doug is saying right now, it makes sense."

Wyatt holds up three fingers.

Wyatt: "Alex, Krystal, and Josh have been controlling the game this entire time. If we let them get anywhere near the end, they could take it all; And I know that Hector thinks Haley and Henry have his back, but what possible loyalty could they have for me?"

The Woods.

Wyatt takes in everything that Doug has told him, and begins to nod in agreement.

Wyatt: "Okay, let's do this. Let's make a move!"

The two join hands, and a grin spreads across Doug's face.

The Dock.

As the sun begins to set overhead, Wyatt and Hector relax at the end of the dock, their legs dangling over the edge.

Wyatt: "So, I talked to Doug."

Hector begins moving his feet in a motion that creates small splashes in the water.

Wyatt: "He thinks it should be Josh tonight."

Hector's fixation with the water is broken by these words.

Hector: "What?! No, I can't do that."

He begins to shake his head back and forth.

Hector: "I told you, Josh saved me. I don't want to vote him out."

Wyatt sighs once again, and looks off towards the pink clouds in the distance.

Wyatt: "I'm just worried that if we don't do something now, we're never going to have the numbers to do it."

Wyatt turns his attention back to Hector, who is still shaking his head.

Hector: "I just can't go back on my word to all of them. They've all done so much for me, and I just can't do that."

Wyatt speaks no words, but his eyes say it all. He's devastated by his friend's reaction.

Confessional Booth: Wyatt.

The boy's body language reads differently than it did in the morning. It is evident that he is stressed out, and worn down by the game.

Wyatt: "I ran the plan by Hector, and he shut it down almost immediately."

Sighs continue to pour out of his mouth as he runs his fingers through his hair, and along the front of his face.

Wyatt: "Which is just so frustrating because without him, there's nothing that I can do."

Wyatt throws his arms up into the air, and plops them back down onto his thighs.

Wyatt: "That's it."

The Cafeteria.

The campers begin to pour into the cafeteria for what will be someone's last meal at Camp Wawanakwa. As everyone settles into their seats, the cafeteria is divided by alliance lines. Doug, Steven, Vittoria, and Jonathon sit at one table, while Wyatt, Josh, Kristana, Alex, Nourhan, Haley, Henry, and Hector sit at another. After everyone has settled down, and is preparing to eat, Hector turns the tables.

Hector: "Josh, they're targeting you tonight."

Wyatt's eyes widen, bewildered by his friend's outburst.

Josh: "What?"

Josh's mouth drops wide open, a grain of rice still stuck to the edge of his bottom lip.

Hector: "It was Doug's idea. He wants you out. He isn't with us like he said he was."

An awkward silence ensues and everyone attempts to process this shocking news.

Confessional Booth: Josh.

Josh's eyes have bags under them and he looks slightly deranged, as if he's been pushed over the edge from all the stress.

Josh: "I'm in shock. I really wanted to work with Doug and I trusted him."

Josh takes both of his hands, and slides them under his glasses.

Josh: "Oh my god…"

His hands remerge from under his glasses and are now resting on his knees.

Josh: "I put my entire game in jeopardy aligning with him, I pissed Alex off, and now I could be the one going home tonight."

Josh smiles and shakes his head.

Josh: "This is just so unbelievable to me…"

The confessional ends with Josh's hands submerging beneath his glasses, once again.

The Cafeteria.

Alex rolls his eyes and shakes his head in disapproval.

Alex: "I told you not to trust him."

Josh snaps out of his trance, and begins to make his pitch in a hushed tone, despite the tension that has formed at the table.

Josh: "I know that the original plan was Steven, but we have to get rid of Doug. He's too dangerous and he's a lot more athletic than Steven is."

Wyatt cups his hands over his mouth, and closes his eyes. Avoiding the situation that is unfolding before him, not wanting to believe that his game is falling apart around him.

Hector: "I agree."

Everyone, with the exception of Nourhan, nods.

Josh: "Nourhan, I know you have issues with him, but can you agree to putting off Steven for one more vote?"

Nourhan sighs at the thought of having to put up with Steven for any longer than she has to.

Confessional Booth: Nourhan.

Nourhan: "It makes me really nervous to put off voting for Steven, because I think the others are underestimating what he's capable of. But I'm the one that has to build trust and fit in."

Nourhan sighs and covers her eyes with her palm.

Nourhan: "I just hope this isn't the decision that sends me home."

The Cafeteria.

Nourhan gives her new friends a grim smile, and reluctantly agrees. Across the cafeteria, Doug observes that the others are having a hushed conversation, and becomes increasingly worried of his fate.

Doug: "There's something going on over there."

Confessional Booth: Doug.

Doug: "Earlier today, I talked to Wyatt about voting for Josh. And now I'm thinking that was a colossal mistake, because Wyatt and Hector almost immediately ran back to the others, and now they're all whispering without me."

Doug lets out a laugh of disbelief.

Doug: "Oh my god, Doug. What did you do?"

Doug buries his face in his hands.

The Cafeteria.

The four outsiders have leaned into a small huddle, and are discussing possible options for the upcoming campfire ceremony.

Steven: "Can we all agree that no matter how much we dislike each other, we have to stick together?!"

Although everyone nods in agreement, it is clear that Vittoria is the most hesitant when doing so.

Steven: "Good, because now's the time to scramble."

Outside the Cabin.

A flash of the screen transitions the scene, and Steven is now shown discussing the vote with Alex.

Steven: "I know that you have a thing going on with the Gophers but you also know that if something doesn't happen tonight, then my days are numbered."

Alex takes a deep breath before shaking his head in response.

Alex: "I'm mad at Josh, but I can't go against him."

The loyal friend looks at Steven with pity in his eyes.

Steven: "It doesn't have to be Josh, we can vote for whoever you want. Just say a name and we'll change the vote!"

For the first time in the game, Steven is at the mercy of another, pleading for his life in the game.

Outside of the Girl's Bathroom.

As soon as Nourhan exits the restroom, she is stopped by Jonathon.

Jonathon: "Nourhan, I need to talk to you."

Nourhan crosses her arms and rolls her eyes.

Nourhan: "What do you want, Jonathon?"

Jonathon: "I want to talk about tonight's vote."

After he says this, Nourhan is immediately overcome with rage.

Nourhan: "Why would I talk any strategy with you at all after you lied to my face, time and time again!"

Nourhan turns around and attempts to walk away, but is once again stopped by the boy.

Jonathon: "Hold on, just hear me out!"

Outside of the Cabins.

Alex looks Steven straight in the eyes, the tears forming in them more genuine than ever.

Alex: "It's not you."

After hearing this, Steven shakes his head anyways.

Steven: "It doesn't matter. Whoever goes, I'll be next."

The conversation becomes increasingly unbearable for Alex, and he begins to walk away.

Alex: "I'm sorry Steven, it's just not in the cards tonight."

Steven runs to the edge of the porch and calls after him.

Steven: "Alex, wait!"

Outside the Girls Bathroom.

Nourhan rips her wrist away from the boys grasp, and turns to face him.

Nourhan: "No, Jonathon! You kissed Nathalie, and then voted her out in the same night! There's no way you will ever come back from that!"

With those final words, Jonathon watches shamefully as she leaves him behind.

Outside the Cabin.

Steven watches Alex leave, ignoring his pleas, and taking any chance he had left with him.

The Beach.

With the last glimmer of sunlight hitting a small patch of water, the Campfire Ceremony is just around the corner. Unable to rally the votes they need, Vittoria is everyone's last hope. But like the sun setting overhead, the ray of light is slim, and quickly fleeting.

Vittoria: "Okay, so here's the situation we're in right now."

Sitting beside the Italian on the sand, are Hector and Wyatt.

Vittoria: "I don't want to play with Steven anymore, and if you all want to vote him out, I'll do it."

Wyatt looks at Vittoria, dumbfounded by her betrayal.

Confessional Booth: Vittoria.

Vittoria: "Steven thinks I'm on his side, but I don't have anyones back but my own. "

Vittoria gives a snooty laugh, before flipping her hair over her right shoulder.

Vittoria: "In chess, everyone but the king is expendable. Steven has served his purpose, and I no longer need him."

The girl snickers once again.

Vittoria: "So, it's time to gather the troops because I'm starting an all out war."

The Beach.

Vittoria takes several rocks from the sand, and begins to lay out several scenarios for the two boys.

Vittoria: "If you don't want to get rid of Steven or Doug tonight, than we play with the four boys until the end."

Vittoria takes two rocks and separates them from the rest.

Vittoria: "You two can easily convince Doug that the Gophers need to go against the Bass at six. I'll vote with you three, and we take out Jonathon and Steven then. "

Vittoria rearranges the rocks to form a second scenario.

Vittoria: "Plan B, we go with the Gophers and vote who they want tonight. If we do this, all you two need to do is make sure that I have time to integrate with the group."

Hector and Wyatt both nod, processing the information she is providing.

Vittoria: "Over the next three campfire ceremonies we get rid of Doug, Jonathon, and Steven. After that, we use Haley and Henry to take out the other four."

Vittoria arranges the rocks once again , representing a 5-4 alliance.

Vittoria: "Then again, at five, we take out the other two. The final three is us."

Vittoria looks up at the boys, who are both impressed with her logic.

Vittoria: "This group can get to the end. Tonight is just deciding how we get there."

Wyatt and Hector both look at each other, then at Vittoria, and lastly, back at the rocks.

Vittoria: "So what's it going to be? The Bass or the Gophers?"

Wyatt looks up to the clouds, which are no longer pink in color, but have in fact become black.

Confessional Booth: Wyatt.

Energy and enthusiasm have returned to the boy's eyes.

Wyatt: "Tonight, we have a big decision to make; And at the end of the day, it's going to come down to the evolution of the game. "

Wyatts is now resting his forearms on his thighs.

Wyatt: "I came here, I made friends, and I lost. But, now I'm back."

A new determination is brewing within him while he speaks.

Wyatt: "I didn't come back to play the way I did before. Camp Wawanakwa isn't a summer camp anymore, it's a battleground and somebody's about to get blown up.

The Beach.

The black clouds grow darker overhead, and thunder begins to roar throughout the island, just as the final ray of hope submerges beneath the cloud. Night has fallen at Camp Wawanakwa, and there's about to be a storm…

The Campfire Ceremony.

The fire is burning bright tonight, but not as bright as the shine in Chris's eyes.

Chris: "Welcome, campers, to the first Campfire Ceremony of the merge!"

Regardless of his excitement, no one else seems enthused whatsoever. Tensions among alliances are higher than ever, and everyone feels as though they are in the hot seat tonight.

Chris: "Well, good to see you're all getting along…"

Vittoria rolls her eyes at Chris's obvious sarcasm.

Chris: "I'm sure it will make you all happy to hear that production has ran out of marshmallows, and so you're all safe tonight!"

Everyone's eyes light up and the remaining twelve erupt in cheers.

Chris: "Just kidding!"

Chris chuckles at his own joke, which no one else finds funny.

Jonathon: "Hilarious, McClean. Truly, dieing on the inside."

Chris continues to laugh hysterically, which only annoys the teens further.

Chris: "No, someone is still going home. Most likely Steven."

Steven glares angrily at the host, but this is one comment that puts a smile on most everyone's face.

Chris: "Since we are out of marshmallows, we will be going live to the voting confessionals!"

Vittoria's smile is wiped clean off her face as she shoots up out of her seat.

Vittoria: "WHAT?!"

Chris dismisses her reaction with a wave of his hand.

Chris: "Pipe shut, Vi-"

The girl ignores his gesture, and continues to yell at him.

Vittoria: "What if someone backstabbed someone else? You're just going to air it for everyone to see?!"

Jonathon raises his brow at the girl, and Steven's anger increases.

Chris: "Well, if I don't reveal it, you apparently would've anyways."

Vittoria's lips curl shut as she looks around, realizing what she has just done. The girl plops back down in her seat and begins to whistle innocently, avoiding eye contact with Steven who is shooting daggers in her direction.

Chris: "Now, back to the live voting confessionals!"

A crappy TV screen is wheeled in by a few interns, who leave immediately after. The first voting confessional to air is Kristana's.

Kristana's Voting Confessional: "Tonight, I am voting for Krystal."

Kristana holds up a picture of herself, which makes Chris roll his eyes at her.

Kristana Voting Confessional: "I no longer wish for that girl to be a part of me, and from here for-"

Chris ends her ridiculous voting confessional by fast forwarding through it.

Kristana: "Whatever. A statement was made."

Nourhan nods in agreement. The next voting confessional to air is Steven's.

Steven's voting confessional: "Tonight, I'm voting for the shaggy dog."

The boy is seen holding up a picture of Josh. Josh rolls his eyes at the comment made and turns his attention back to the television screen. Josh is up next.

Josh's Voting confessional: "I wanted to work with you, I really did."

Josh is shown to be holding up a picture of Doug. Doug is angered by this revelation , and turns his body to face Josh.

Doug: "So much for frien-"

Before Doug can finish his sentence, he is shown holding up Josh's photo on the television screen. Josh crosses his arms and stares at him through a small part in his hair.

Josh: "You were saying?"

Doug gives Josh a nervous laugh and than the two watch as the rest of the votes are aired.

Haley's voting confessional: "Sorry, Doug."

Henry is up next, and he also holds up Doug's photo and simply shrugs.

Henry's Voting Confessional: "You have no one to blame but yourself dude."

Alex is next up, and he has taken advantage of the situation by defacing Doug's photo. He has drawn a giant eggplant over his face.

Alex's Voting Confessional: "Because you're a dickhead!"

Alex begins laughing hysterically at his own joke. At the campfire ceremony , Doug turns his attention to Alex briefly. When he makes eye contact, Alex laughs nervously and waves. After this awkward encounter, Jonathon is shown voting for Josh.

Jonathon's Voting Confessional: "I don't think we've ever spoken. Pretty sure you have a weird obsession with cats, but that's just a theory."

Josh throws his arms up into the air.

Josh: "Okay, so does everyone here just think I'm a shut in freak?!"

Steven nods snidely.

Steven: "Pretty much."

Wyatt's voting confessional comes up next. His photo is face down and can not be seen.

Wyatt: "I'm voting for you, because moving forward, I need to position myself to get to the end of the game."

Wyatt holds up his photo to revel Doug's face. Doug sighs, knowing that this is the final nail in his coffin. He begins to gather his belongings, ignoring Hector's confessional as it airs. Vittoria takes the opportunity to make one last attempt at keeping her vote a secret.

Vittoria: "Okay, okay. We get it. Doug's going home. We can all go back to our cabins now! Okay, bye Chr-"

Vittoria has already stood up, and started walking out of the Campfire Ceremony when Chris interrupts her.

Chris: "For the last time Vittoria, SIT DOWN!"

Vittoria gulps before plopping back down on the stump, hanging her arms down in defeat.

Vittoria's voting confessional: "Tonight, I'm voting for Doug."

Steven gasps loudly when he hears this.

Vittoria: "What's the best part of tonight's vote? Pulling one over on Steven! That moron will never see

this coming!"

Vittoria's confessional ends what felt like an endless montage of slandering between different contestants.

Doug: "Well guys, it's been fun."

Doug gets up and makes his way down the dock of shame. Alex waves at Doug tauntingly when he passes, and a smile spreads across Josh's face, from ear to ear, as he watches him go. Jonathon is visibly upset by their failed plan, realizing that he is now on the bottom. Vittoria looks to her left and gives a wink in Wyatt's direction. The boy is smiling, and confident with the decision he made. When she looks to her right , however, she catches a glimpse of Steven's hate filled eyes.

Chris: "It's clear from tonight that the game is no longer the game it used to be."

The camera zooms in on Wyatt, who knows exactly what Chris is talking about. Camp Wawanakwa was once a camp where twenty-two campers befriended one another and worked together to achieve their common goals. Voting was based on challenge metrics, and who hurt the dynamics of the team. The game they once played formed friendships, and allies were something meant to lean on, not deceive. Now it was something else, something bitter, but most of all, something selfish. The bonfire in front of him no longer felt like the same fire that burned earlier that summer. No, that fire was now fueled by something else. It was now ignited by nothing but broken promises, bitter bloodbaths, and the friendships left behind; And that fire wasn't letting up anytime soon.

Outside the Cabins.

Following the conclusion of the most dramatic campfire ceremony yet, the eleven remaining campers are slowly making their way back to their sleeping quarters. Vittoria nearly reaches the cabin porch when she is stopped by a familiar voice.

Steven: "Hey!"

Vittoria smirks and turns around to see that Steven is angrily marching across the camp grounds towards her.

Steven: "Who the hell do you think you are?!"

Steven's screams catch the attention of several other campers, including Jonathon, who stops dead in his tracks, and Wyatt and Hector who stop at the doorway to watch the altercation.

Vittoria: "No , Steven. Who the hell do you think you are, walking around this island like you own it!"

Steven rolls his eyes and opens his mouth, but Vittoria does not give him the chance to defend himself.

Vittoria: "Oh, but it's justified, right? Because you're a poor abused child?"

Vittoria's voice has carried inside the cabin, and everyone is now peering out the window.

Jonathon: "Vittoria, stop!"

Jonathon has reached the two, and is now standing beside Steven. Vittoria makes a pouty face at Steven, who now looks like he is on the verge of tears.

Vittoria: "What's wrong, Stevie? You can dish it, but you can't take it?"

Alex watches sadly, as his new friend is demoralized in front of everyone.

Vittoria: "It's not just your daddy that would give you back to the hospital if he could. Nobody here likes you, Steven."

She shrugs coldly at the two boys.

Vittoria: "Except maybe Jonathon, but he's not a very good friend if you ask me. Who do you think told me about all the family drama?"

Jonathon hangs his head low.

Vittoria: "It was a cute sob story, though."

Vittoria smiles, and playfully taps Steven's nose with her finger. After doing so, she walks up the porch steps and opens the door.

Vittoria: "Just a little too cliche for my taste."

After saying this, she flips her hair over her shoulder and slams the door shut behind her. For the first time that day, Camp Wawanakwa falls silent. The only sound that can be heard in the dead of the night, is the growing rage of the clouds overhead. Now more than ever, everyone laid in their bunks, unsure of their fate in the coming days. So many of them were different in so many ways, but all of them shared one common fear… That they themselves would become lost in the storm, and lose who they were in their pursuit of the dimming light.
