Titans Are Going To War.
The episode opens with a wide shot of Chris , standing on the Dock of Shame, waiting for his cue so that he can deliver his opening lines."
Chris: "Previously on, Total Drama Island...Insanity!"
When the recap commences, Alex and Josh are seen fighting outside of the cabins.
Chris: "Doug's return created rifts throughout entire the campground."
As Chris narrates the events of the previous episode, Alex is shown gravitating towards Steven, completely blind to his antics.
Chris: "With a rivalry forming between his former ally, Alex mended fences with Steven and set his sights on other allegiances, but not everyone was as quick to fall for Steven's emmy winning performance".
Krystal, who is now driven by nothing but vengeance, is shown referring to herself as the newly born, "Kristana".
Chris: "But Steven wasn't the only one with tricks up his sleeve…"
Vittoria is shown re-aligning herself with Hector and Wyatt, on the beach.
Chris: "In the biggest move of the season, Vittoria took control of the game. Although unknown to everyone else, she has placed herself in the perfect position to make it all the way to the end."
The last clip shown is Vittoria turning everyone against Steven after the Campfire Ceremony, in which Doug was sent home.
Chris: "Only one vote remains before Vittoria, Hector, Wyatt, Haley, and Henry, make up the majority of the remaining campers. Will Vittoria succeed in her plan, or will the tables turn once again? Find out tonight on….Total...Drama...Island...Insanity!
The recap ends with one final close up of Vittoria's menacing stare, and maniacal grin.
The Boys Cabin.
The night is quickly fading at Camp Wawanakwa, as several blackbirds begin to take root on various tree branches throughout the Island. The logs are not enough to shield Josh's ears from their relentless chirping, but are successful in diverting his thoughts away from the previous day's events. He begins to hum along to their melodies in his head, fearing the guilt ridden thoughts that might cross his mind if he doesn't. After doing this for quite some time, Josh realizes that these chirps are, oddly enough, in near unison with Steven's whimpering. The possibility of the bird's mocking him bring him joy.
Confessional Booth: Josh.
The boy looks perplexed, and unsure of the validity of what he's saying.
Josh: "Voting out Doug last night wasn't ideal. I think I could've used him for a number, further down the road, but he ended up targeting me so I didn't really have a choice."
Josh shrugs his shoulders, helplessly.
Josh: "The only thing I can do now, is keep moving forward. Hopefully, now that Doug is gone, whatever spite Alex felt for me will be gone. "
Josh ends his confessional by letting out a deep sigh.
The Girls Cabin: Porch Steps.
When the scene transitions, so has the position of the sun. By the time Vittoria is seen, sitting on a poorly constructed wooden chair, daylight has now emerged over Camp Wawanakwa. The girl is impatiently tapping her foot against the wooden porch, and rolling her eyes in a snooty fashion. After waiting for some time, she finally hollers out to her minions.
Vittoria: "Hello?! I'm STILL waiting!"
After these horrible wails emit from her mouth, Wyatt and Hector both emerge from the woods running desperately towards her.
Vittoria: "Took you long enough! What's the hold up?!"
Hector and Wyatt drop a pile of sticks in front of her, and begin to frantically weave them together.
Wyatt: "Sorry, Vic! We're just super tired! We were up all night doing your laundry, an-"
Vittoria clears her throat, preventing Wyatt from justifying his actions.
Vittoria: "It was a rhetorical question! And what did I tell you to refer to me as from now on?!"
Vittoria grimaces at the boy, who looks down bleakly.
Wyatt: "Sorry… Queen Vittoria…"
Vittoria smiles snidely, pleased with the boy's response.
Vittoria: "That's more like it!"
Vittoria notices that Wyatt has stopped weaving the sticks together. She immediately picks up one of the sticks, and uses it to slap Wyatt across the palm. Wyatt cups his palm with his opposing hand, and whimpers in pain.
Wyatt: "Ow!"
Vittoria: "Keep working!"
Confessional Booth: Wyatt.
Wyatt is seen rubbing ointment onto his inflamed palm.
Wyatt: "Okay, so I know this looks bad but Vittoria is essential to my game! As long as we can make the others think that we're still "gophers strong", we can vote out Steven and Jonathon next, and then Hector, Haley, Henry, Vittoria, and I , can take out the others!"
After saying this, Wyatt raises his fist and brings it back down into his palm.
Wyatt: "OW!"
Wyatt begins sobbing silently, fearful of what Vittoria might do if she heard him.
The Girls Cabin: The Porch.
Dramatic music begins playing in the background, as Vittoria continues to watch the boys vigorously weave the sticks together. When their hard work begins to come together, a grin slowly spreads across the girl's face.
Confessional Booth: Vittoria.
The girl, now more cocky than ever, sits with her legs crossed over each other.
Vittoria: "Back home, I never take orders. People take orders from me."
The girl's eyes narrow, and her smile widens.
Vittoria: "My strategy coming into this game was to take control, but let others have the perception that they're the one's in the driver's seat."
The girl laughs and shakes her head.
Vittoria: "But I've always been the one who's decided who stays and who goes."
Vittoria flattens her palm, and holds it up to her side.
Vittoria: "This is it, this is everything I've been working towards since the beginning of this game…. I let that brat think he was in control for weeks, but now reality's setting in…"
Vittoria takes her hand, and flips her hair over her right shoulder.
Vittoria: "I'm the queen and I'm seconds away from executing the fool in front of the entire village."
The girl gives one final menacing laugh, before the confessional fuzzes out.
The Girl's Cabin: The Porch.
When the confessional ends, Wyatt and Hector have finished crafting their masterpiece. Each place one hand on either side of the object, and raise it into the air. When the camera zooms in to what they're holding, the object constructed reveals itself to be a crown made from twigs and several flowers weaved throughout. The camera follows the crown closely, as it is slowly placed on top of the ruthless Italian's head.
Total Drama Island: Insanity! Intro.
As the opening theme begins to play cameras begin to pop out of strange places, including an underground burrow and a tree. As the last camera comes out, a clapperboard is held in front of the camera and is slammed shut.
"Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine…."
The camera goes past the dock of shame revealing the Camp Wawanakwa sign. As the scenery continues to be shown, the camera rushes past Chris then continues up the ever so familiar mountain before going over the cliff and through the ring, venturing into the treacherous waters!
"….You guys are on my mind!"
Hector is shown happily swimming in the water before being frightened after seeing a shark and rushing towards the surface.
"You asked me what I wanted to be, and now I think the answer is plain to see…."
As Hector emerges from the surface, Wyatt and a crying Sarah are seen floating past him on an old, gray plank. From behind his back, Wyatt pulls out Sarah's teddy bear and holds it towards her, much to her delight. However, just as he does so, a hawk sweeps down and snatches it, sending Sarah back into hysterics.
"I wanna be famous!"
The hawk flies above Steven, who is in the forest surrounded by pumpkins. As snakes begin to make their way out of the pumpkins, Steven screams like the little girl he is deep down and begins to run. As the camera zooms out, Nathalie is seen holding a snake and smiling as Jonathon puts his hands on his hips and raises his left brow at her before the sun's vibrant light overcomes this view.
"I wanna live close to the sun."
As the sunlight retracts and a new scene is revealed, Josh and Doug are seen bickering at each other on a raft before going over a waterfall.
"Well, pack your bags 'cuz I've already won."
Matt is seen standing on a long and narrow log, with one hand in the air and one hand on his heart, reciting what looks to be a play in a rather over dramatic light.
"Everything to prove, nothing in my way."
Kelly swings by on a vine, grabbing Matt by the collar of his shirt and taking him along for the ride. As they rush past parts of the camp, she drops Matt into the outhouse which falls over because of this. Courtney tumbles out of the outhouse and walks around slightly dazed before falling over, hitting the ground rather hard.
"I'll get there one day."
The camera pans through the cafeteria window, showing Chef making some kind of disgusting grub before going over to Sam and Eric who are looking at each other dreamily before a spoonful of Chef's food is shoved between them. Looks of disgust are shared between the two before Nourhan and Noah are seen laughing together at a nearby table.
"I wanna be famous!"
As the scene changes to the outdoors, both Kimi and Vittoria are seen admiring Alex who is in the water looking at himself in a small hand mirror.
"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na…"
As Alex smiles at himself in the mirror it shatters into a dozen pieces, much to his dismay.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
The camera pans over to the Dock of Shame where the hawk drops Sarah's teddy bear into Krystal's arm. Krystal grins maniacally at this before pulling a lighter out of her pocket and setting the small girl's bear on fire. As laughter continues to erupt from her mouth, she throws the doll up into the air.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
As the burning stuffed animal falls from the sky, the daylight shifts to night. The bear falls down in between Haley and Henry, who are about to kiss when Brooke, whose hair is now on fire, pops up between them. As the camera begins to zoom out, the twenty-two campers are reveled to be sitting at the Bonfire Ceremony. All of them are whistling with the exception of Brooke who is screaming, Krystal who is laughing, and Sarah who is crying hysterically.
The Trailer.
At the edge of the glistening lake, Kristana's new trailer can be seen. All of the windows have been boarded up in an effort to keep the sunlight out. The lighting inside is very dim, and only emitting from a few candles placed throughout the camper. Kristana can be seen sitting criss cross applesauce, in the middle of the trailer. Her eyes are shut, and all that can be heard are her low hums. The silence is broken when Nourhan throws the door open, and interrupts the girl's meditation session.
Nourhan: "Uhm...What're you doing?"
Shocked by the trailer's decor, her voice tremble when she says this.
Kristana: "I'm trying to channel Sarah. I need to know how she died."
Nourhan crosses her arms, and rolls her eyes.
Nourhan: "Sarah isn't dead, Krystal! She's at a resort!
After Nourhan says this, Kristana shows emotion for the first time in two episodes, nearly shedding a tear.
Kristana: "I'm honestly not sure which is worse."
Nourhan plants her face into her palm.
Confessional Booth: Nourhan.
Nourhan crosses her arms and looks up, thoughtfully.
Nourhan: "Okay, so the whole Kristana thing was a little cute at first…"
Nourhan takes a brief pause after saying this. After pondering this thought for a few seconds, she shrugs her shoulder and arches her lips.
Nourhan: "No it wasn't. It's always been weird, and it needs to stop!"
The Trailer.
Nourhan throws her arms into the air, exasperated by Krystal's gothic persona.
Nourhan: "Enough, Krystal!"
The girl lets out a deep sigh, and places her hands on Kristana's shoulder. Her expression has changed, and she is now behaving in a sympathetic manner.
Nourhan: "I know that you lost your sister, and I know that it's been hard for you, but this isn't what Sarah would want! To be quite honest, she'd probably be terrified of the way you've been acting..."
Nourhan looks at the girl who is staring back at her, emotionless. She then removes her hands from the girl's shoulders, and begins to inch away.
Nourhan: "Honestly, even I'm a little scared of you right now…"
Without warning, a large cannon ball is hurled over the girls' head, and comes crashing down onto Kristana's shrine. The now destroyed trailer immediately bursts into flames, and continues to burn while the two friends hopelessly watch. Nourhan's mouth is wide open , but Kristana appears to be unphased by the destruction of her new home. A few seconds after the cannon ball's impact, Chris can be heard, shouting into his megaphone.
Chris: "Argh, campers! It's time for today's challenge! Meet me at the amphitheatre in ten minutes!"
Kristana shrugs and walks past Nourhan, who is still in shock.
Kristana: "That was pretty cool..I hope the destruction of my home is a sneak peek of what's to come… Maybe we'll get to shoot a cannonball at Steven next."
Kristana walks off, leaving Nourhan behind. As soon as she picks her jaw up off the floor, the girl stands straight up, clenches her fists, and begins to scream.
Nourhan: "That could've killed us!"
With those final words, a white flash overtakes the screen and transitions the scene.
The Auditorium.
One by one, the teens slowly make their way into their respective seats. Josh and Alex are the first to arrive. Both seem to be in much better spirits, chatting and laughing as they make their way to the bleachers. Kristana is the next camper to make an appearance, followed by Nourhan, Haley, and Henry. Soon, Hector comes running up towards the auditorium, and leaps onto the bleachers. He then proceeds to cup his hands, and make loud obnoxious sounds that resemble trumpets.
Hector: "It's the moment you've all been waiting for! Your queen has arrived!"
Everyone exchanges looks of confusion and concern as Wyatt makes his way into the auditorium. He is crawling on all fours, while Vittoria leisurely rests on top of his back. She begins to repeatedly whip him with a vine.
Vittoria: "Down! Down!"
Wyatt moans in pain and crouches down. Vittoria disembarks from the boy's back and takes a seat beside Hector. Instead of following the girl to her seat, Wyatt continues to lay on the ground, motionless.
Henry: "Are you ok, man?"
Wyatt lets out a small whine. Upon further examination, red marks can be seen all over the boys body.
Wyatt: "I could use a little help getting u-"
A lovestruck Haley interrupts the boy before he can finish making his cry for help.
Haley: "Oh my god, Henry! I love how concerned you are for others. That's seriously so sweet!"
Haley cups her hands together, and begins to bat her lashes at him. The boy blushes back at her and looks away shyly.
Henry: "Thanks… I think it's pretty sweet, that you think I'm pretty sweet."
Haley giggles obnoxiously and nudges her boyfriend's arm.
Haley: "Stop it! That's such a sweet thing to say!"
Not knowing of their relationship, everyone exchanges awkward glances as their conversation continues.
Alex: "Am I missing something?"
Josh shrugs carelessly, and responds sarcastically.
Josh: "I guess Henry is just a super sweet guy."
Confessional Booth: Henry.
While he speaks, his eyes are directed towards the ceiling. It's clear that he's in some sort of daze, thinking about Haley.
Henry: "Haley is just the best girl a guy could ask for! She's been there for me through thick and thin out here, and…"
The boy's cheeks light up like a firetruck, and his expression changes. He's no longer awe struck. He's fallen into a trance that is much deeper.
Henry: "...and I'm really starting to like this girl… like a lot.."
Shocked and confused by his own feelings, Henry rests his chin on his palms.
The Auditorium.
The last two campers to arrive are Steven and Jonathon. Steven walks over and sits beside Alex. His head and shoulders are hung low, and he is clearly still upset about Vittoria's comments the night before. Jonathon sits beside him, and raises his brow in Haley and Henry's direction. The two are still giggling endlessly at their own advances towards each other.
Confessional Booth: Jonathon.
Jonathon can be seen flailing his arms about, his appearance similar to a wide eyed maniac who has gone several days without an ounce of sleep.
Jonathon: "Are you serious?! How has no one noticed that they have something going on!"
Jonathon stands up, lifts the toilet seat, and angrily points to the letters carved on the inside of it.
Jonathon: "For god sake, their initials are even carved into the toilet seat!"
The camera zooms in to reveal that "H+H" has in fact been carved into the inside of the wooden toilet.
Confessional Booth: Haley.
After Jonathon's confessional fuzzes out, Haley can be seen humming and carving a heart around her and Henry's initials. The camera makes some noises when it begins to zoom in on her, and she is startled. After remembering that she is being filmed, her eyes begin to dart around the booth and she immediately takes a defensive stance.
Haley: "It's not my fault, Henry said that we have to keep our relationship a secret! How else am I supposed to express my feelings in an artistic form?!"
The girl becomes frantic after she realizes that she has been caught constructing artwork on the inside of a toilet seat.
Haley: "Just.. STOP FILMING THIS!"
The horrified girl throws her hands in front of the camera lens.
The Auditorium.
After all the campers have gathered at the auditorium, Chris makes his way onto the stage.
Chris: "Argh, Scallywags!"
Chris is wearing an eye patch, a bandana, a white slop, and brown buckle up shoes. To wrap up his appearance, he can be seen sporting a peg leg.
Chris: "Top of the mornin' to ya!"
A wide shot of the campers makes it abundantly clear that Chris is amusing no one but himself. The host frowns, displeased with his audience.
Chris: "Tough crowd."
Jonathon shrugs.
Jonathon: "Mediocre crowd, horrible impression."
Vittoria snickers at Jonathon's comment. Chris is quickly irritated by the boy's wit, and scowls at the snickering teens.
Chris: "Fine! I'll just get straight to it then!"
Chris crosses his arms and begins to pout like a small child. Vittoria dismisses this with a flick of her wrist.
Vittoria: Oh, boo hoo. Did the big, scary man take your rattle?"
Several campers begin to snort, in an effort to conceal their laughter. Chris chooses to ignore this, and continues on with his siphel.
Chris: "Today's challenge will be a treasure hunt!"
When Chris unveils a pile of treasure boxes underneath a large white tarp, Hector leaps out of his seat, eager to partake in the challenge.
Hector: "A treasure hu-"
Before he can finish his sentence, Vittoria whips him with her vine.
Vittoria: "Down!"
Hector whimpers and cowers below the bleachers. Wyatt's eyes slowly move towards the vicious dictator, and he lets out a large gulp.
Confessional Booth: Wyatt.
Wyatt is hugging his knees, and rocking himself back and forth.
Wyatt: " It's just part of the game, it's just part of the game, it's just pa-"
Vittoria interrupts the boy's rambling, and begins banging on the outhouse door.'
Vittoria: "Whose in there?! Wyatt, is that you?!"
The boy begins to tremble and sob silently.
Wyatt: "No…"
Without warning, Vittoria's arm bursts through the outhouse door, and grabs Wyatt by his collar.
Vittoria: "I already told you to stop stealing my air time!"
The boy immediately starts apologizing, but is dragged out of the booth regardless. All that can be heard are his horrendous screams.
The Auditorium.
When the scene resumes, Chris begins going over the instructions for today's challenge.
Chris: "Instead of looking for the treasure, you'll be looking for the keys!"
Chris picks up a small, wooden bucket. Inside, are rectangular pieces of wood, small enough to hold in one hand.
Chris: "You will randomly select a clue from this bucket; that will lead you to your key! Each key will unlock a treasure box that contains a prize for you land lovers! One treasure box will hold the best prize of them all… Immunity from tonight's Campfire Ceremony!"
When Chris says this, the contenders faces all light up, Steven being the only exception. Chris holds out his arm with the bucket of clues in his grasp.
Chris: "Come get your clues!"
One by one, everyone gets up , and retrieves a clue from the buket. When Vittoria sticks her hand in, the camera focuses in on her snide face.
Confessional Booth: Vittoria.
The girl is sitting on the toilet seat with her legs crossed, and her lips curved upwards.
Vittoria: "I've poised myself perfectly to take over this game. The only person left standing in my way is Steven. So winning today's challenge means nothing to me."
Vittoria shrugs carelessly.
Vittoria: "I just have to make sure that Steven doesn't."
The Auditorium.
Vittoria glares at Steven from the corner of her eye. Knowing that he is next in line, she places a clue with a picture of a bear on the top of the pile. She smiles deviantly, and whistles as she walks away. After she is gone, Steven carelessly approaches the pile of wood, and immediately takes the one on top.
Alex: "Hey!"
Alex nudges his newfound friend before grabbing a clue of his own.
Alex: "What'd you get?"
Alex peers over the boy's shoulder and gasps loudly.
Alex: "Is that… a bear?!"
Steven shrugs carelessly and tosses the wooden card over his shoulder.
Steven: "Might as well be. I've got nothing better to look forward to…"
Alex frowns and watches the boy walk away.
Confessional Booth: Alex.
Alex: "Before last night's vote, Steven asked me to vote with him but I knew that the numbers weren't there…"
He lets out a heavy sigh and looks down sadly.
Alex: "But now I regret not voting with him. Everyone has kind of isolated him at this point and besides Jonathon, he doesn't really have anyone to confide in."
The remorseful teen places his hands on his knees, and grits his teeth.
Alex: "I feel like I put him in a really bad position by not standing up for him, and now it's my responsibility to help him out."
The Auditorium.
Alex is still watching Steven walk towards almost certain death, when Josh approaches him.
Josh: "Pretty sure my clue is a tree branch."
Josh holds up the picture on his piece of wood, so that Alex can see.
Josh: "So that narrows it down to every tree on this island."
Alex, who is completely absorbed by Steven's display of emotions, doesn't even acknowledge Josh's presence.
Josh: "Are you okay? You seem kind of out of it.."
Alex turns to face Josh.
Alex: "I just feel really bad about what happened last night. Steven still seems really upset about the whole thing."
Josh lets out a small, and slightly hesitant laugh.
Josh: "Wait, are you serious?"
Alex shakes his head.
Alex: "Why wouldn't I be?"
Josh laughs again, this time much more cynically.
Josh: "Because Steven isn't our friend! He voted out Krystal's sister!"
Alex rolls his eyes.
Alex: "He isn't our friend? Don't you mean he isn't your friend, so he shouldn't be mine either?"
Josh, who is now confused, blinks several times and shakes his head.
Josh: "I don't even understand what that's supposed to mean."
Alex rolls his eyes again , and begins to run towards Steven.
Alex: "Just forget it. I don't have time for this."
With those final words, a stunned Josh is left behind.
Josh: "Wait! Who's going to help me look for this tree branch?!"
Confessional Booth: Josh.
Josh: "I thought that Alex was just hanging out with Steven to get back at me for being friends with Doug. But now that Doug's gone…"
It's clear by Josh's face that his confidence in the relationship he has built with Alex isn't as secure as it used to be.
The Woods.
All eleven campers have claimed their clues, and are in pursuit of their keys. In the middle of the woods are Haley and Henry, who are comparing her picture to a small hole at the bottom of a hill. As they are doing so, they watch a small skunk burrow its way into the hole . When she sees this, Haley lets out a loud groan.
Haley: "Do you think Steven would trade me for the bear?"
Henry laughs at the girls joke , and places his hand on her shoulder.
Henry: "Don't worry! I have an idea.."
Henry tucks her hair behind her ears, kisses her on the forehead, and runs off. By the time he returns, Haley's cheeks are still bright red from this gesture.
Haley: "So, what's your master plan?"
Henry holds up a bucket, that he has filled with water from the ocean.
Henry: "We're gonna flush em' out!"
Haley smiles shyly, and watches Henry crouch in front of the hole, and pour the water into the skunk's home. As the hole begins to overflow, a family of skunks come sliding out. Henry reaches his hand into the hole, and pulls out the girl's key.
Haley: "Henry! It worked!"
She runs over to him, and throws her arms around his neck. Now, it's Henry who has turned bright red.
Confessional Booth: Haley.
Haley has cupped her hands together, and is batting her eyelashes repeatedly.
Haley: "Henry is one of the smartest guys I've ever met. Every time we're in a sticky situation, he gets us out."
The lovestruck girl smiles.
Haley: "He never fails to impress me."
The Cafeteria Rooftop.
Vittoria's clue leads her to Chef's kitchen, which she taken refugee above.
Vittoria: "Okay, so here's the plan. You two idiots are going to lower me down.."
Vittoria holds up a rope, and hands it to Hector.
Vittoria: "..And I'm going to open Chef's fridge, and grab the key! Any questions?"
Hector, not understanding the rhetorical nature behind this, opens his mouth. Before he can speak, Wyatt clasps his mouth shut.
Wyatt: "Don't even bother…"
Vittoria smiles.
Vittoria: "Good! Now let's get this over with!"
Vittoria throws open the hatch on the rooftop, and peers down into Chef Hatchet's territory. To her relief, Chef Hatchet can be heard snoring loudly.
Vittoria: "He's sleeping, so let's make this quick!"
The girl throws the rope down, and begins to slowly slide down into the lion's den. Hector and Wyatt can be heard grunting above, struggling to hold the girl up.
Vittoria: "Be quiet! You're going to wake him up!"
Vittoria snaps at the boys in a very hushed tone.
Hector:"I'm sorry, it's just…. so heavy!"
Wyatt gasps and lets go of the rope.
Vittoria: "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?!"
As soon as she yells this, she realizes what she has just done. The camera pans out to reveal an infuriated Chef Hatchet is now inches away from Vittoria's face. He huffs loudly, steam emitting from his nostrils.
Vittoria: "Okay, plan B!"
The girl jumps down, and pulls on the rope as hard as she can. Hector, who is still holding onto the rope, falls through the hatch and lands on top of Chef Hatchet. The two hit the ground hard, and are stunned by the impact. Vittoria throws the fridge open, grabs the key, and runs as fast she can.
Vittoria: "Way to take one for the team, Hector!"
Before the boy can respond, Vittoria is long gone.
Confessional Booth: Vittoria.
Vittoria files her nails carelessly, while speaking to the camera.
Vittoria: "Some may call what I did to Hector mean, but I call it survival of the fittest."
The girl shrugs.
Vittoria: "You can't blame for me adapting to the environment."
The Woods.
Josh is shown walking through the woods, becoming more and more irritated with every tree he examines. Josh comes across what feels like his hundredth keyless tree, and kicks it.
Josh: "Don't worry about my safety. As long as we keep Steven, I'm totally fine!"
Without warning, Hector's screams pierce the air. He runs right by Josh, followed by Chef Hatchet. Chef throws a butcher knife at the boy, and narrowly misses , hitting the tree behind Josh. The boy turns around, and walks over to the tree. When he looks up, he sees a key hanging from one of the branches above. The boy's face lights up.
Josh: "Well, X marks the spot!"
Without another word, the boy begins to climb up the tree.
The Communal Bathrooms.
A white flash overtakes the screen, and transitions the scene. Jonathon can now be seen looking into one of the bathroom stalls. He holds up his clue, which is a picture of a toilet, and lowers it. Sure enough, he has pinpointed the location of his key.
Jonathon: "Well...Considering that I'm a piece of human waste for voting out Nathalie, this seems about right."
Jonathon shrugs, puts on a snorkal mask, and makes his way towards the dingy toilet.
Outside The Cave.
Steven is shown approaching the same cave that Sarah, Wyatt, Hector, and Brooke, slept in earlier this season.
Steven: "Well...This is it. Good game everyone."
Before Steven can step foot into the cave, Alex runs up behind him and stops him.
Alex: "Steven, wait! This is crazy! Immunity isn't worth your life!"
Steven looks at Alex, and then back at the cave.
Steven: "But what other chance do I have?"
Alex lets out a deep sigh, and gives Steven a look of desperation.
Alex: "Look, I'm sorry that I didn't vote with you at the last campfire ceremony! I was just afraid to go against my friends…"
Alex hangs his head down low.
Alex: "But I kind of ended up doing that anyways…"
A melodramatic Steven lets a single tear roll down his cheek.
Steven: "You're right, you did… And now I'm going to die."
Steven throws his arms open, and dramatically runs into the cave, facing almost certain death.
Confessional Booth: Steven.
In contrast to his previous appearances in the booth, Steven's energy has been depleted and his red eyes indicate that he has just finished crying.
Steven: "What Vittoria said last night was actually true… It's not just this Island either… I don't really have anyone outside of this game."
Tears begin to slide down the boys cheeks, and he rubs at his eyes.
Steven: "I don't know if I want to leave this game because everyone here hates me, or stay because of what people are going to say about me when I get back home."
The boy buries his face into his hands, and continues to sniffle.
The Dock.
A close up Henry's clue is shown. It's a picture of a small peg, in the middle of the ocean. When he lowers his clue, however, there is one substantial difference. Surrounding the wooden peg are several shark fins, circling the peg. In the middle of the peg, lies Henry's key.
Henry: "Water again… Thanks production…"
Paralyzed with fear, Henry lets out a large gulp.
Haley: "Hey…"
Haley takes the boys face in her hands, and turns it towards her.
Haley: "You've already done this before, remember?"
Henry nods, still concerned when thinking about having to face his fear for the second time this season.
Confessional Booth: Henry.
Anxious from all the anticipation, Henry is holding himself in the confessional booth.
Henry: "I've been scared of water and heights, ever since I was kid."
Trying to "man up", the young boy forces a smile across his face.
Henry: "Haley helped me face that fear at the very beginning of the game, but the thought of having to face it again…"
Henry sighs and shakes his head.
Henry: "It's honestly terrifying to me…"
The Dock.
Henry shakes his head, which is still in Haley's hands.
Henry: " I don't know if I can do this again…"
Haley smiles the boy.
Haley: "Do you remember when you helped me face my fear..?"
Henry says nothing, but nods.
Haley: "The thought of kissing someone… Sharing something inmate with someone… It was the scariest thing in the world to me."
Henry's eyes begin to swell as she talks.
Haley: "What if that someone leaves me, or what if I can't give them everything they need to be happy?"
Haley, not quite as good at fighting tears back as her counterpart, begins to cry.
Haley: "But being by your side made me unafraid."
She smiles warmly at him.
Haley: "You made me feel like together...We're unstoppable."
The girl leans in close, and kisses him. Pulling just inches away from his face, she whispers one last sweet nothing.
Haley: "And now I'll never be afraid again. You can do this, Henry. I know you can."
Henry , still fighting off tears, is now smiling back at her. He nods, now confident in his ability to make his way through the treacherous waters. He disappears for a moment, making his way to Chef Hatchet's kitchen, who is still distracted by Hector. When he returns, he is holding two large fish by their tails. He throws the two fish into the water, away from the pole. While the sharks are distracted, he rips off his shirt, and makes his way through the blue hell. Although afraid, his girlfriend's faith in him gives him the strength to face his fears and retrieve the key. Holding it up triumphantly, Haley begins to cheer.
Haley: "You did it! I knew you could do it!"
The girl, still crying and cheering, begins to jump up and down while clapping loudly. Henry is enchanted by the girl's infectious cries, and smiles. In that moment, he doesn't feel the waves crash against his skin, or notice the smell of the anxiety inducing waters. In that moment, there's only one thing in the entire world that can reach him...
Confessional Booth: Henry.
Henry's facial expression has now changed. He is no longer afraid, but something much more overwhelming has overtaken him…
Henry: "I really like this girl a lot…"
...Love.
Henry: "I think I'm in love with her."
The Woods.
Josh has now reached the tree branch that his key is dangling from. He slowly begins to inch his way across the branch, when his progress is halted by a woodpecker.
Josh: "That's not good…"
The woodpecker begins to slowly peck away at Josh's lifeline.
The Woods.
Elsewhere in the woods, are Kristana and Nourhan. The two of them are approaching Krystal's key, which is surrounded by a bright, purple snake.
Nourhan: "This seems really dangerous.."
Kristana shrugs.
Kristana: "I think it's pretty cute… It looks hungry."
Kristana reaches down, and grabs a jagged rock. She than proceeds to slice her finger, and wave it in front of the snake's face.
Kristana: "Come here girl, it's dinner time!"
Nourhan lets out a horrific gasp.
Nourhan: "What're you doing?!"
Krisana smiles grimly.
Kristana: "Feeding Violet."
Nourhan: "Who?!"
Kristana: "Violet. The snake."
Nourhan's jaw is still wide open when she grabs Krystal's finger, and drags her away from the snake.
Nourhan: "Okay Krystal, that's enough!"
Kristana rips her finger away in anger, and yells at the girl in a demonic tone.
Kristana: "MY NAME IS KRISTA-"
Before she can finish, Nourhan covers the girl's mouth.
Nourhan: "No it's not, it's Krystal! And I get it, okay! I really do!"
Nourhan removes her hand from the girl's mouth, and continues speaking.
Nourhan: "Your sister got voted out. It sucks, it really does, but now it's time to move on! You don't need her anymore!"
Kristana looks at the girl angrily, and snaps back.
Kristana: "How can you say that?!"
Nourhan exhales deeply, and takes the girls hands in her own.
Nourhan: "Because you don't. You're strong enough to do this on your own now."
Something hits home with Kristana, and for the second time that day, emotion can be seen on her face.
Nourhan: "Before coming into this game, I never did anything by myself. I never even knew that I was capable of doing anything by myself… But then I lost Noah early on."
Nourhan looks down at Kristana in a sympathetic manner.
Nourhan: "I was forced to play this game alone, and you know what? My game is a lot better off without him in it."
Kristana lifts her head up, and when she does, her tears are already smearing her gothic mask.
Nourhan: "More importantly, I'm a lot better off with him. I cared about him alot, and it still hurts that he's gone, but when I didn't have anyone to lean on is when I found myself. "
Nourhan uses her thumbs to wipe the tears off of her friend's face.
Nourhan: "This is your chance to find yourself, Krystal, don't waste it by putting on this charade that you don't care about anything. "
Kristana's tears are now pouring down her face at a much more rapid pace. The small girl clings to Nourhan's waist, and the two girls embrace.
Kristana: "I'm just so scared.."
Confessional Booth: Kristana.
The frail girl has her arms wrapped around her legs, which are pressed against her chest.
Kristana: "I've honestly never faced anything in my life without Sarah. We've always been through everything together."
Kristana begins to bat her lashes frantically, in an effort to conceal her tears.
Kristana: "It's one of the reasons I came out here, because I wanted a chance to stand on my own two feet, but now that it's the only option I have…"
Kristana takes her sleeve, and begins to wipe at her falling tears. As she does so , her makeup is smeared and her facade is broken.
Kristana: "I'm just so scared that I won't be strong enough on my own…"
The Woods.
Nourhan somberly rests her chin on Krystal's head.
Nourhan: "I know… But don't be. I'm here, and we're going to get through this together."
Krystal lifts her head, and the two girls exchange a smile. This touching moment comes to a sudden halt when Violet lunges at Krystal's finger, and sinks its fangs into her wound.
Krystal: "Ow…"
Krystal's body becomes limp, and she hits the forest floor.
The Woods.
In another portion of the woods, Hector has circled back to Josh's tree, still being chased by Chef Hatchet. Once he is directly under the branch Josh is on, the woodpecker finally manages to gnaw through the wood and Josh comes plummeting down. After Landing directly on top of Chef Hatchet, Hector has finally escaped the deranged man. Josh rubs his head in a daze, before seeing that the key is finally within his reach. The boy grabs the key, and his face lights up.
Josh: "Yes!"
While all of this is going on, Hector is still running, unaware that Chef Hatchet is no longer following him. When he takes a second to turn around, he sees that he is no longer being pursued.
Hector: "Whew!"
Not long after he lets out a sigh of relief, does he run into a nearby tree. The force of the impact knocks down a hornet nest, which lands on top of Hector's head.
Hector: "Hey! My key's in here!"
These are the last words Hector speaks before being drowned out by his own screams as hundreds of hornets begin to sting him, one after another. The only thing that can be heard, is Chris's voice over the loudspeakers.
Chris: "Argh, scallywags! Bring your keys to the auditorium in ten minutes, or ye'll walk the plank!"
With that announcement, a white flash over takes the screen and a challenge montage ensues.
Throughout the Campgrounds.
Alex is the first camper to be shown, frightfully standing in the middle of the woods, in front of a ring of fire. Dangling in the middle of the ring, is the key he needs to complete the challenge. A look of determination overcomes his face and he begins to sprint towards the ring, leaping through the center and grabbing the key in the process. The next camper to be seen is Nourhan. The girl is standing in the middle of a bridge, which has been constructed in the middle of the woods above a fake pond. In the pond below are alligators, who are protecting a golden key that is resting on one of the rocks in the water. Before revealing the outcome, the scene transitions to show Jonathon emerging from the toilet water with a key in his right hand. The teen raises his arm into the air, and smiles for the first time in a week. Next up is Wyatt, who is approaching a small bunny rabbit that has his key around it's neck. Wyatt lets out an "Awww", before realizing the rabbit's true nature. The rabbit opens it's mouth, revealing its set of monstrous teeth and horrific growl. Following Wyatt's horrendous screams, the screen fades to black and the challenge concludes.
The Auditorium.
One by one, the eleven campers make their way back to the auditorium. Most of them are shown to be injured in one way or another, badly beaten and bruised.
Chris: "Okay, campers! Did everyone have fun?!"
The camera shows a wide shot of the eleven campers, none of which are smiling. Krystal's finger is swollen and oozing puss, Steven has scratches all over his body and his clothes are badly torn, and Hector looks like a swollen blueberry.
Hector: "Ya know, I actually did!"
When Hector smiles, several of his wounds burst open and pus oozes out. Several campers exchange looks of disgust, notably Vittoria.
Chris: "Glad to hear it, because it's the moment of truth! Come up and claim your prize!"
Everyone begins to make their way to the treasure chests, and unveil their prizes. Josh is the first to find his treasure chest, and lifts up what appears to be a wooden carving of Chris's face.
Confessional Booth: Josh.
Josh is angrily holding up his carving of Chris's face.
Josh: "Are you freaking kidding me?! All of that for this ugly piece of crap?!"
The Auditorium.
After trying to unlock several treasure chests, Steven throws his key on the ground and kicks one of the chests.
Steven: "My key is defective!"
Chris laughs at Steven's revelation.
Chris: "Did I forget to mention that not all of the keys open a chest?"
Steven glares at Chris , crosses his arms, and rolls his eyes.
Steven: "Go figure. Way to kick a man while he's down, McClean."
Vittoria is also shown getting increasingly irritated when her key won't open anything. She begins to rattle her key in the lock and grunt loudly. Her attention is directed in Hector's direction, when he erupts in cheers. The girl's face lights up, and she rushes over to him.
Vittoria: "Did you win immunity?!"
The boy smiles, and holds up his prize.
Hector: "No, better! I won honey!"
Hector holds up a bottle of honey.
Vittoria: "Ugh! You idiot!"
Vittoria smacks the container out of the boys hands. The boy clenches his hand, and begins to rub it.
Hector: "Ow…"
As more campers open their chests, everyone beings to realize that their prizes are hardly prizes at all. Nourhan wins a lamp with a torn lamp shade, Haley gets a bottle of perfume, and Wyatt a toaster. Jonathon is the next camper to open his chest.
Jonathon: "...Seriously? Now, this is just cruel."
Confessional Booth: Jonathon.
Jonathon angrily holds his prize up to the camera lens.
Jonathon: "A picture of Nathalie?! Because I don't feel bad enough already?! Thanks a ton McClean!"
The Auditorium.
There are only two campers left who have not opened a treasure chest, or attempted to open one. Henry and Krystal both stick their keys into their respective padlocks. When Henry opens his, he is shocked to find a rolled up parchment inside.
Krystal: "I won! I actually won!"
Several gophers begin to cheer for the small girl when she holds up the invincibility pass, and everyone runs over to congratulate her. Nourhan smiles at her friend, and pats her on the back.
Nourhan: "Looks like things are starting to turn around for you."
Krystal smiles and nods.
Confessional Booth: Krystal.
Krystal is smiling throughout the entire confessional, feeling triumphant after her second individual win.
Krystal: "Learning to trust in myself and what I'm capable of is going to take some time, but after today I feel like I've taken a huge step in the right direction. Coming out here, I didn't think I'd win a single challenge but now I've won two in a row!"
The girl lets out a laugh of disbelief.
Krystal: "Every time I step outside of my comfort zone, I surprise myself. I still can't believe it."
The Auditorium.
While everyone's distracted by Krystal's win, Henry unravels the piece of parchment. The first thing he notices is the heading.
Henry: "Hidden Immunity Idol Clue…"
Perplexed by the title, he reads on…
Henry: "Safety lies underneath the losers feet…"
The boy's face scrunches up, and he ponders what this clue might mean.
Confessional Booth: Henry.
Henry is sitting in the booth, with the rolled up piece of paper in his hand.
Henry: "Truthfully, I'm still not really sure what this means, but I have a feeling it's a lot more valuable than today's immunity."
Henry is grinning from ear to ear, and shaking his head.
Henry: "I feel like I just gained a huge advantage in this game, and now I just have to figure out how I'm going to utilize it to benefit Haley and I."
The Auditorium.
After taking a second to think about it, he rolls the parchment back up and sticks it into the back pocket of his jeans.
Chris: "And with that, Krystal has won immunity! I'll see you all later at tonight's Campfire Ceremony!"
The remaining eleven campers begin to disperse, unknown to any of them that a gruesome power struggle is about to take place. The scene comes to an end with a close up of Vittoria's face, her smile more confident than ever.
Confessional Booth: Vittoria.
The young Italian is sitting up straight, with her hands in her lap.
Vittoria: "Tonight is the most crucial Campfire Ceremony of the entire game."
She gives a snide grin in the camera's direction.
Vittoria: "If everything goes according to plan, Steven will go home tonight and I'll be making a clean sweep to the end."
The cocky girl flips her hair of her shoulder, and re-adjusts her posture.
Vittoria: "And the best part of it all is going to be the look on Steven's face when he realizes that he was never the one in control."
After saying this, her snide grin turns into something much more devious.
The Beach.
Vittoria and her two boys are sitting at the edge of the beach, letting the water rinse the sand off their toes.
Vittoria: "I can't scramble, or I'll come off as a bigger threat. Especially with Steven throwing himself a pity party."
Wyatt shakes his head.
Wyatt: "You won't have to scramble, everyone wants Steven gone."
Vittoria begins to talk in a much sterner tone.
Vittoria: "And it's your job to make sure that his name is locked in for the vote!"
Hector: "What about me? Why what's my job?"
The boy's face is so swollen, that his words are nearly inaudible.
Vittoria: "Nothing! You're too stupid, you'll just screw something up!"
Vittoria flips her hair and it whips the swollen, pus filled boy, in the face.
Hector: "Oh… okay…"
Vittoria leans back on her palms, and continues to dictate both of their actions.
Vittoria: "Now braid my hair, I want to look cute for Steven's blindside!"
Both boys scurry over to the girl, and begin braiding her hair.
Confessional Booth: Wyatt.
After today's events, Wyatt is badly bruised in several areas. Without knowing any better, someone could easily draw the conclusion that he was on the losing end of a bar fight the night before.
Wyatt: "Vittoria is a pretty nasty human being, but I just have to keep sucking it up! Keeping her in the game is my only power play, and if it works out the way it's supposed to, I'll be leaving this island a hundred-thousand dollars richer, because there's no way that anyone is voting for her at the end.
Although badly beaten, it's clear that Wyatt is confident in what he's saying.
Wyatt: "So no matter how awful she is to Hector and I, I have to make sure that everyone's on the same page tonight. "
Wyatt flattens his palm, and begins smacking the back of his other hand onto it.
Wyatt: "Steven has to go!"
Outside the Cabins.
Alex is sitting on the porch, with his hands on either side of his face. In the distance, he can see Steven enter the bathroom. The boy lets out a loud sigh, and begins to ponder what his next move is.
Confessional Booth: Alex.
Alex: "Tonight's a tough call, because Steven is the easy vote."
Alex shakes his head at the thought of having to vote out his friend.
Alex: "But, I've already made the easy vote in the past and I'm still regretting it."
Alex takes his hand, and runs it down from his forehead to his jawline.
Alex: "I just…. I feel like there's something more that I can do to save him."
The Woods.
Alex and Jonathon are walking side by side, through the woods.
Alex: "I already tried to get through to him earlier today, and I just can't. But if he doesn't campaign for himself, he's going home!"
The two stop to face each other.
Jonathon: "After I told Vittoria about Steven's dad, I just don't think he's going to listen to anything I say anymore."
Alex shakes his head, and looks at Jonathon in desperation.
Alex: "Jonathon, he's the only name that's come up. Please. You have to at least try to get his gears going!"
Jonathon returns Alex's expression to him.
Confessional Booth: Jonathon.
Jonathon: "Steven and I were really close, but I really screwed up by telling Vittoria about his dad."
Jonathon is sitting with his legs spread open, and his forearms resting on both his knees.
Jonathon: "I don't know if it's possible to mend that bridge, but if there's a time to mend it it has to be now."
After saying this, he shrugs his shoulder.
Jonathon: "Him and I, we're a dying breed, and we've just got to do something."
The Dock.
Steven is laying on the dock of shame, with his legs dangling over the edge, watching the setting sun above.
Jonathon: "Hey."
Jonathon approaches the glum teen, and sits right next to him.
Jonathon: "I know this goes without saying, but you're going home tonight if you don't do something."
Steven says nothing, and continues to stare at the sun, which much like him, is fading into the horizon.
Jonathon: "So, what's the plan?"
Steven smiles carelessly and places his hands on his chest.
Steven: "There is no plan."
Jonathon's mouth is perched open, and he shakes his head angrily.
Jonathon: "Look, I'm sorr-"
Steven stops his old friend from finishing.
Steven: "It's done, Jonathon. We lost."
Steven turns away from Jonathon, and lays on his side. Jonathon shakes his head in disbelief.
Jonathon: "Unbelievable."
Confessional Booth: Jonathon.
Feeling more hopeless than ever, Jonathon maintains his posture from earlier but the emotions he's conveying are much less optimistic.
Jonathon: "I took a really big risk in keeping Steven over Nathalie, and…"
Jonathon shuts his eyes, and a moment of silence ensues. When it's over, he takes his thumb and forefinger and begins rubbing at his eyes.
Jonathon: "I'm just not sure it was the right decision to make… For the game or for me."
Jonathon runs his hands down his face, and over his mouth.
The Cabins: The Boys Side.
All of the screaming gophers, and Nourhan, have made their way into the boy's side of the cabin, where they're discussing that night's vote.
Wyatt: "So are we all in agreeance? Steven's going home tonight?"
No words are spoken, just nods exchanged. Nods from everyone… except for Alex.
Confessional Booth: Alex.
Alex: "I haven't heard back from Jonathon, and Steven's still moping around, so…"
Alex places his hands on his knees, and shakes his head.
Alex: "If I don't take matters into my own hands, then Steven's going home tonight. But if I speak up, I'm putting myself at risk…"
Alex bites his bottom lip, and considers his options,
The Cabins: The Boy's Side.
Josh notices Alex's hesitancy, and begins to question his opinion.
Josh: "Alex..? Are you with us on this one?"
Alex becomes increasingly nervous, and his eyes begin to dart around the room. With no route of escape in sight, he's forced to face the conversation at hand.
Alex: "I just don't really think Steven's a threat right now…"
Josh squints his eyes, and shakes his head in disagreement.
Josh: "He's the biggest threat here by far!"
Alex has now found his voice in the room, and becomes more adamant in his argument.
Alex: "No, he's not. He's done nothing but cry the last few days. Vittoria's much more threatening to me."
Before Josh can make a rebuttal, Wyatt interrupts both of them.
Wyatt: "It has to be Steven."
Now irritated, Alex begins shaking his head.
Alex: "Why does it HAVE to be Steven?"
Wyatt: "Steven's a bully! He's bullied Nourhan before the merge, he bullied Krystal's sister before voting her out, and he bullied Hector at the returnee challenge!"
Alex squints his eyes and tilts his head.
Alex: "So you're saying that Vittoria hasn't bullied anyone in this room?"
Wyatt rolls his eyes, and stands up.
Wyatt: "No, that's not what I'm sayi-"
Before he can finish his sentence, Alex talks over him.
Alex: "Okay, so why not Vittoria?"
Wyatt and Alex stare into each other's eyes, neither giving up their position in the argument.
Alex: "If Vittoria and Steven are both bullies, and Vittoria is the one who actually has her head in the game right now, why wouldn't we vote her out?!"
Wyatt continues to scowl at Alex, his fists now clinched.
Wyatt: "I'm not going to have this argument with you. We all voted, everyone here wants Steven out but you, Steven's going home. End of discussion."
Wyatt storms off angrily, leaving Alex to question his motives.
Confessional Booth: Alex.
Alex: "Wyatt's reaction to the point I was trying to make, was ridiculous."
Alex places one hand on the booth's seat, and smiles.
Alex: "There's no reason for him to get that defensive over Vittoria. It was shady as hell."
Alex maintains his smile, and shakes his head.
Alex: "If there was any doubt in my head about keeping Steven, it's gone. "
The Woods.
After the Gophers have dispersed, Nourhan, Alex, Josh, and Krystal have all gathered in the woods to discuss the impending vote.
Alex: "Okay, but am I the only one who thought that Wyatt's reaction came out of nowhere?"
Nourhan shakes her head.
Nourhan: "No, it was super shady. I've never seen him act like that."
Alex, now more enthused that his argument seems to be catching on, nods in agreement.
Alex: "Him and Hector have been following her around all day."
Alex peers behind the group, and gestures for them to do the same. When everyone turns around, Wyatt can be seen talking to Vittoria, who is clearly upset with what he is telling her.
Alex: "Wyatt and Vittoria never talk. There's something going on there."
Josh scowls at the other three, and begins to shake his head.
Confessional Booth: Josh.
Josh: " I don't know if Alex wants to keep Steven just to spite me or if he actually believes what he's saying, but it's a horrible idea.
Josh shakes his head angrily.
Josh: "I've worked way too hard to unify the Gophers, and create this alliance. If we were to blindside the others and keep Steven, it would ruin everything."
The Woods.
Josh: "We have to get rid of Steven."
Alex inhales slowly, and then exhales.
Josh: "I'm sorry, I've tried to be nice about whatever the hell you have going on with him but it's getting ridiculous."
Alex rolls his eyes, and begins to yell in retaliation.
Alex: "It's only ridiculous because he's my friend, and not yours!"
Josh holds his arms up at his sides, unsure of how to respond.
Josh: "What're you talking about?!"
Unrelenting, Alex continues to rip into Josh.
Alex: "You do this every time, Josh! Every time one of us makes a friend who's not you, you get pissed and vote them out!"
Josh is bewildered by Alex's accusations.
Alex: "You did it with Sam, and now you're trying to do it with Steven!"
Josh shakes his head, still unsure how to respond.
Josh: "That was one time!"
Both girls are shocked, as the boys continue to talk over each other.
Alex: "But you keep doing it! You're literally the only one who can talk to anyone outside of the three!"
Josh: "I just voted out Doug for yo-!"
Alex: "Yeah, because he was gunning for you! You didn't even give a sh*t when he was gunning for me!"
With those final words, a brief moment of silence ensues. Josh is the first one to break it.
Josh: "I'm done arguing with you."
Josh begins to walk away.
Josh: "I'm not keeping Steven."
After Josh leaves, Alex crosses his arms and shakes his head.
Confessional Booth: Alex.
Alex: "Josh, he's just on another one of his power trips."
Alex looks unamused, and irritated beyond belief.
Alex: "He's the only one allowed to have friends outside of the core three, because he just wants all the power all the time."
He continues to shake his head, and takes a deep breath.
Alex: "I'm done with it. This isn't Total Drama Josh."
The Woods.
The emotional aspect of the conversation has left with Josh, and talk turns back to strategy.
Alex: "If you guys let Josh dictate the vote, it could screw all of us. We need to think this through."
As he speaks, there is a lot of feistiness in his tone.
Alex: "If there's something going on between Wyatt and Vittoria, then he has half the island backing him and they'll outnumber us in a couple of votes."
Krystal crosses her arms, and looks down sadly.
Confessional Booth: Krystal.
The girl looks extremely perplexed, and lost in thought.
Krystal: "Getting rid of Steven tonight sounds really tempting. It would be the sweet, sweet revenge I've been waiting for. But if I'm ever going to move past the Sarah thing…"
Krystal frowns at the thought of having to keep Steven.
Krystal: "Then making the emotional move might be the wrong decision."
Krystal shakes her head, and rests her face on her palm.
Krystal: "I know that I can't trust Steven, but if what Alex is saying is true…"
The Beach.
Minutes away from the Campfire Ceremony, Krystal and Nourhan are desperate to find the right solution.
Krystal: "I'm just going to be one hundred percent honest, I don't think I'm the one that should make this decision. I just want Steven gone for other reasons."
Nourhan lets out a deep sigh.
Nourhan: "Yeah.. This is getting insane…"
Krystal laughs and nods in agreement.
Krystal: "I think I can convince either of the boys to calm down, and vote the way we want. I just need a name…"
The sunset can be seen in the reflection of Nourhan's piercing, brown eyes.
Confessional Booth: Nourhan.
Nourhan's eyes are glistening with excitement.
Nourhan: "I never thought I would be in a power position, let alone be the deciding factor in Steven and Vittoria's game. But as exciting as it is, it puts me in a really interesting position..."
A smile spreads across the girl's face and she raises one palm to her shoulder.
Nourhan: "On one hand, Steven has, up until this point, had complete control over this game. But now, he can't even get a grip long enough to plead his case."
She raises up her other hand.
Nourhan: "Then there's Vittoria, who's been pretty sneaky up until recently, but now she's getting way too cocky and screwing everything up. If what Alex is saying is actually true, then this is our only shot to take her down."
Regardless of the nature of the conversation, and the impending vote, she remains chipper and excited.
Nourhan: "This is where things get interesting. These are two monumental strategists, going head to head."
The girl lets out a laugh.
Nourhan: "The titans are going to war tonight, and it's going to be one hell of a show."
The Campfire Ceremony.
The daylight has retreated behind the dark clouds above, and the eleven remaining campers are awaiting the impending campfire ceremony. Chris's marshmallow supply has been restocked, and he can be seen holding his usual silver tray.
Chris: "This, campers, is the dramatic campfire ceremony."
Vittoria rolls her eyes, unimpressed with Chris's melodramatics. Her hair has been weaved into pigtail braids, but both are poorly constructed and it's clear that neither Wyatt or Hector have braided hair before.
Chris: "All but one camper will receive a marshmallow. The camper who does not receive a marshmallow, will be forced to walk the dock of shame, board the boat of losers, and say sayonara!"
Vittoria turns her head , and smirks down at Steven, who is sitting a couple seats to her right.
Chris: "However…"
With this single word, all eleven campers tune back in to what Chris is saying.
Chris: "From here forward, the eliminated camper will not be going home! That's because starting tonight, the campers voted out will become members of the jury! At the end of the game, this jury will decide who is worthy of the 100,000 prize!"
Realizing that they have hit such an exciting milestone, everyone's face lights up.
Chris: "With that being said, the first marshmallow goes to…"
Smiles slowly fade away, and the room becomes much more tense.
Chris: "Hector!"
Hector smiles, and Chris tosses a marshmallow his way. The marshmallow hits the boy in the face, and one of his inflictions burst open.
Chris: "Haley and Henry, you're also safe!"
The two lovebirds exchange smiles, and receive their marshmallows. Jonathon looks over at them, and rolls his eyes before receiving a marshmallow of his own. Jonathon is followed by Nourhan, who is also revealed to be safe.
Chris: "The next campers safe are…"
Alex looks over to his left, and locks eyes with Josh. The two are sitting on opposite sides of the room and are the next two campers to be declared safe.
Chris: "Alex and Josh!"
Alex eats his marshmallow angrily, and turns his head away from Josh. Instead of eating his gooey treat, Josh chooses to throw it at Alex's head.
Alex: "Ow!"
Alex grinds his teeth, and directs his attention back to Josh, who is now looking up towards the moon and whistling.
Chris: "Wyatt, you're also safe!"
Wyatt smiles, and catches his marshmallow in the palm of his hand.
Chris: "This campers, is the final marshmallow…"
The camera zooms in on the only remaining marshmallow, and dramatic music begins to play in the background. Vittoria's cocky grin has not changed in the slightest. Wyatt's smile has also stayed intact. Vittoria turns her head, and looks at Steven. The gloomy teen is resting his chin on top of his palms, refusing to meet her cold stare.
Chris: "The final marshmallow goes to…"
Alex looks over at Krystal and Nourhan, who are both smiling back at him. When Vittoria takes her attention away from her arch enemy, she notices the others are grinning at each other. Confused by their joy, her smirk slowly fades from her face, and she turns to her right. Josh is seen rolling his eyes, and this is the first indication that something in her plan has gone terribly wrong. The girl's jaw drops, and she directs her attention back towards Steven. He is now looking back at her, with deviance in his eyes and accomplishment in his smile.
Chris: "Steven!"
Steven looks back down, and intentionally lets the marshmallow hit him in the forehead. Haley lets out a loud gasp, and several of the remaining contenders begin exchanging looks of confusion and shock. Alex, Nourhan, and Krystal become much more stern, as the other's begin to look towards them for an explanation. Wyatt's jaw has also hit the floor, as he turns around to look at Josh, who is still shaking his head. Vittoria, although angry, curves her lips upwards into a smile. Looking back down at Steven, she speaks one final lick of Italian.
Vittoria: "Ben fatto."
With these parting words , the girl stands up and begins to make her way towards the dock of shame. More flabbergasted than herself are the remaining campers whose fates are left unspoken. Haley's expression becomes more bitter as time continues to pass, while Wyatt becomes increasingly concerned for his future at Camp Wawanakwa. Too distraught over the wool pulled over their eyes, the remaining campers are completely oblivious to the fire in Steven's eyes, and the slight curvature in his lips.
Confessional Booth: Steven.
Steven is seen sitting in the confessional booth with the same expression he has had on all day. The only noticeable difference between now and before is his overly exaggerated tone that he is purposefully altering to show the viewers that his emotions were just for show.
Steven: "It's just so sad! Everyone hates me so much!"
Steven begins snickering, pleased with his own performance.
Steven: "Thanks for the ammunition, cagna!"
Outside of the Cabins.
After the campfire ceremony, emotions are still running high. The campers all begin making their way into their respective cabins. Jonathon and Steven are trailing behind the group of teens. Just before Jonathon can step foot into the cabin, Steven grabs him by the arm and pulls him off of the porch.
Jonathon: "Jesus! Take it easy, John Cena!"
Steven hushes the boy, and crouches down low, indicating for Jonathon to do the same. Jonathon lowers his body to the ground, and sees that Steven is now smiling.

Steven holds his hand out to the boy. Jonathon looks up and gulps loudly, fighting back his emotions.
Steven: "Now we're in this together…. Till the end!"
Jonathon smiles bleakly, and gives in to his friend's words of encouragement. The two join hands, and reinforce their friendship.
Steven: "Now, we need something to cause a bigger rift in the alliance!"
Jonathan frowns for a second, before falling into deep thought.
Jonathon: "Well, there is one thing that I noticed…"
Hanging onto his every word, Steven looks to Jonathon for guidance. Jonathon raises his finger to the cabins direction. A maniacal smile spreads across Steven's face, and he is already planning his next move. The camera pans over to the cabin. Haley and Henry are seen walking up the porch steps, their hands intertwined….
