Chapter 15 - Ending

This was what had been missing.

Them being together had been missing. And not just the see each other on occasion and texts in between type but the forever and always until death will part them type.

When Jasper asked Eleanor to marry him he thought she'd call security on him but instead, after a couple of seconds of disbelieving silence, it all came so differently. Only a couple of hours had passed since then and it finally was time.

Time to turn things right.

Jo, once again, found it hilarious but was more then willing to help. Not that there was much to prepare, it's not like there would be an actual celebration. But luckily, they were able to find a registrar's office who had a free time slot in the evening. One can imagine their shocked faces when Princess Eleanor stood in front of the registrar.

"Are you sure you want me?"

Jaspers concern would have been sweet if they were not seconds away from being married so Eleanor laughed quietly, squeezing his hand tighter.

"100 percent. I am ready to share my life with you no matter what others think."

"They are gonna think we've gone crazy."

"Nothing new then. Right Liam?"

Her twin was standing not far from them shaking his head in disbelief.

"The two of you are maniacs but at least you're happy so what does it matter?"

"Well said."

Jasper and Eleanor were getting married. And they were sober and absolutely serious this time around.

Their vows were quick and simple. Both wanted to be married as fast as possible so no one – especially not themselves – could mess it up again. Eleanor could have exploded of joy when Jasper finally kissed her.

The marriage certificate was signed correctly by the happy couple plus their entourage which was only Jo and Liam.

Getting married was such a quick decision their priority had not been security or discretion. There would be quite a few paparazzi out there waiting to snap the perfect picture. Eleanor felt a little bit guilty about ruining her mother's vision, but every time Jasper smiled at her she knew it was all worth it.

Hand in hand the newlyweds left the office, followed by Jo and Liam.

This was nowhere near the grand lavish celebration Eleanor always envisioned she would have.

There was no designer wedding gown, no extravagant meal at the reception, no father to give her away. But she wouldn't have it any other way. What she had was her husband, the man who always had her back no matter what and who loved her more than she could ever have imagined and that was all she would ever need.

"I love you so much, Princess."

Standing on the sidewalk Eleanor and Jasper could hear cameras snapping pictures not too far away but they didn't care. Instead Eleanor just smiled and pulled her husband into another kiss.

"And I love you, Bodyguard."

Eleanor wondered how long it would take for her mother to hear about what they did but it didn't really matter. If she was with Jasper, there was nothing in the world they couldn't overcome. Not even the Queen of England.

Jo and Liam were waiting in the car for them, but the new Mrs. Frost had every intention of making her marriage as public as possible. Jasper was quite surprised when she spun them around, so the paparazzi would get the best shot possible of herself, her husband and – of course – the ring on her finger.

"Well if that won't be a headline."

The princess laughed and kissed him once more before getting in the car.

"Oh, it better be"

THE END
