Air rushed by Yu as he dug in his heels, watery eyes squinting as he tried to withstand the aerial assault by what could only be described as a ninja riding a large frog. Through the familiar lenses of his glasses, he could see the creature, a large four-legged beast covered in sporadic shades of brown and green camouflage, a V-shaped slasher grin hovering just below a pair of thin eyes, twisting into an expression of malicious glee.

A cackling that sounded all too much like Yosuke's voice echoed throughout the technicolor movie set they were fighting in, right as Yu began to slide backwards, blown back by the gale unleashed by the monstrosity he was battling. Falling forward, he scrambled for purchase on the smooth tiles of the floor before being lifted off the ground by the wind.

His disorienting trip through the murky air was cut short by his sudden collision with the row of refrigerators behind him, the glass door cracking under the impact of his body against it. He slid down into a sitting position, glasses perched haphazardly on the end of his nose, grip on the golf club loosening as he groaned.

Son of a bitch, that hurt. He thought, his grip tightening once more around the flimsy nine iron as he moved to get up once more. Another hit like that and I might be out of commission already.

He rose to his feet, looking up to see that the creature he had been fighting had disappeared. Panic rose up in his chest as he glanced around, desperately looking for the creature.

A shadow fell over his position, and he spared a glance up to see the bottom of the frog plummeting down towards him.

Oh, fuck me.

The silver-haired student took a few stumbling steps forward before throwing himself forward, the golf club skidding along the floor as he covered his head with his hands, eyes squeezed shut as the large creature crashed through the refrigerators, shattered glass and crumpled metal flying everywhere as the wall behind it buckled and splintered.

Lifting his head up, Yu spared a glance back towards the now massive hole in the set's walls as the glowing red of the monster's eyes peered back through, staring straight through him.

With a gasp, he scrambled to his feet, sprinting for his fallen weapon, diving for it just in time for the creature to ruffle his silver hair as it rushed by overhead, missing the student's head by mere centimeters.

He stood back onto his feet once more, readying his weapon into a combat stance as the creature rose out of the debris in response.

Panting, he stared down the amphibian beast as he desperately racked his brain for a plan, its slow, plodding footsteps shaking the floor with each step.

Yu's homeroom, like most days, was filled with the inane chattering of his fellow students. They gossiped freely, about various events and people, without regard for the others around them, spreading rumors and lies like a disease.

It was easy for Yu to resist the urge to groan as he entered the classroom, having perfected the ability to close off his emotions to the world. He couldn't help but frown, however, as he passed by the gossiping crowd, fragments of their conversation flitting in and out of his ears like a mosquito out for blood.

"I heard that Morooka was the one who killed that newscaster."

"Did you hear about the dead body?"

"I think her parents let her off from school today because of what happened…"

It was all so pathetic, Yu mused as he sat down at his desk. Couldn't they just leave well enough alone?

He spared a glance to the side during his musings, observing that Yukiko was, once again, absent, most likely skipping class to play "kid manager." His vision drifted further to the side to where Chie sat. Unlike the previous days that week, however, she kept her gaze forward, boring holes into the chalkboard as she tried her hardest to ignore the entire existance of her silver-haired "friend."

As he turned back towards the front of the classroom, he couldn't help but smirk to himself.

At least something's going right today, he thought, looking back over his shoulder at Yosuke, who was slumped in his seat, eyes glazed over, and to top it off, the ginger is strangely silent too.

Despite his apparent joy out of finally becoming free of his two "companions," he couldn't help but notice that a bittersweet feeling had settled in the pit of his stomach.

You covered your bases, Narukami. Stop feeling bad about it. The plan's back on track. He commanded himself silently, his hands balling into fists on the desk as he closed his eyes. He took a deep breath, willing himself to return to his normal neutrality.

"Did you hear about what happened with the transfer student?"

His meditation, of a sort, was interrupted, however, by the remnants of a stray thread of gossip entering his hearing.

"No, what happened with him?"

He glanced to the side as subtly as he could, giving a sidelong glance to a pair of girls, their mouths practically drooling over the prospect of a juicy piece of gossip.

"Well, someone told me he was seen leaving Junes late last night with Chie," The first girl began, her head low, hand covering the side of her mouth, "They had apparently been in there for hours."

"But what were they up to?" The other girl asked, head tilting to the side, a befuddled expression on her face.

"Nobody knows, but get this- Chie looked really upset when she left." The first one continued, her face lighting up conspiratorially, "I bet that Narukami kid broke her heart."

"I can't imagine anyone wanting to go out with a dyke like her, though," her friend responded, a mirthful smile on her face, "So I don't blame him!"

Yu's frown deepened into a scowl as his brow furrowed, an acidic retort resting on his tongue. Before he could let it fly, however, he felt movement beside him.

Looking over at the green-coated girl, Yu noticed that her intense gaze had slipped, and now she was staring glumly at the surface of her desk, the bags under her eyes becoming plain under his scrutiny.

His face softened as his shoulders slumped, and he followed Chie's example as he stared at his desk, the acid on his tongue fading away, forgotten.

What the hell am I doing? Yu thought, the student's once stony demeanor breaking down in front of his eyes. He only felt worse as the bittersweet feeling returned once more.

The monster approached Yu's position at a leisurely pace, its dark reprisal of Yosuke's laughter echoing throughout their battleground.

His mouth drawn in a firm line, Yu's mind raced, formulating a plan. Without warning, he sprinted straight for the creature, who scrambled a couple steps backwards in order to keep its prey in sight.

With a wicked cackle, the monster swung its front leg in an arc at Yu, who dove forward to avoid the strike, rolling to a stop underneath the creature. Springing to his feet, Yu ran ove to the closest leg, swinging the golf club at it as hard as he could.

He stumbled back, the impact of the attack reverberating back down his arms. Glancing down at the club, he gaped when he saw that the club's shaft had bent slightly.

A rush of air was all the warning Yu had before he was pushed back down to the floor by the creature's winds. He scrambled back to his feet, sparing a glance upwards to see the creature soaring through the air, having used its control over the air to give it a significant lift into the sky.

He stumbled as he took off at a run, clamboring over fallen debris littering the battlefield. He glanced around the arena, spotting the hole that the monster had created in the wall.

With newfound determination, he sprinted for the opening, weaving around the obstacles in his way.

However, he never reached the opening. As he neared his escape route, the monstrosity landed, sending a shockwave through the floor, launching Yu into the air. He yelped as his feet flew out from under him, the golf club flying off as his arms flailed, failing to find anything to hold onto.

He landed with a thud amongst a pile of barrels, liquor spilling out onto the floor into a puddle around him. Yu groaned as he rolled off the barrel, liquor splashing as he stood back up, his legs unsteady underneath him.

As he got to his feet, he turned towards the massive creature just in time to catch a wooden chair with his torso, the creature having used it as an impromptu missile. The impact threw the silver-haired student backwards, sending him skidding along the ground before he came to a stop a few feet away from where his weapon had landed.

He struggled as he attempted to stand back up, only to fall back down when his foot slipped on an errant puddle of liquor.

With a groan, he closed his eyes as the monster's laughter echoed throughout the small arena, the sound of the whipping wind ominously framing the creature's glee.

Damn it. I'm not making it out of this, am I? He wondered, blindly reaching out for his weapon as the monstrosity prepared its next attack.

Yu felt numb. He had no idea how Yosuke was feeling right about now.

There was a second body found this morning. The body of Saki Konishi, a girl Yu had only met mere days ago.

The students filed out of the gym, the gossipers buzzing about the stunning turn of events as Yu blindly followed the crowd to their lockers. They were shutting down the school early in light of the murder.

As he opened his locker, he couldn't bring himself to move as he stood, shell-shocked at the revelation given to him by the principals. Not only did this explain Yosuke's awkward silence that morning, but it also established that Inaba wasn't dealing with a simple murderer.

They were dealing with a serial killer. And no one had any idea of who might be targeted next.

His mind raced with the implications. Could Yosuke be next? Chie? Would they target Nanako? Or even… Yu himself?

"Hey." A tired voice said from his left, making Yu jump out of his skin for a second, only to find him face-to-face with Yosuke's sad expression.

"I… I need your help." Yosuke stated, rubbing his arm awkwardly.

"Why me?" Yu asked instinctively, swallowing the lump in his throat, "I'm sure Chie will gladly help if you asked."

Honestly, it's surprising he's even willing to talk to me after the last time we spoke, Yu mused, a sinking feeling coming over him at the thought.

"She'll be here in a bit, I'll ask here then," Yosuke answered, putting a hand on Yu's shoulder, "But this is something I need your help with. It's something only you can do."

Oh. That's why. Yu thought, his stomach dropping at the realization.

"I'm not going back in there. Not after what happened last time." Yu stated, shaking his head.

"I thought I would be the one saying those words," Yosuke spoke, a dark expression on his face, "But that was before midnight."

Before Yosuke could elaborate, Chie walked up to the pair, a small frown on her face.

"You didn't tell me he'd be here too, Yosuke." Chie said, keeping her eyes glued on Yosuke. Yu felt his shoulders slump a little further as he realized that she was refusing to even say his name. He coughed to cover up his frown before continuing.

"Yosuke here needs me to get him back inside. You know, that back room?" He elaborated, his neutral expression returning, "The one where only I have the key, so I'm the only one who can let people in?"

Chie wrenched her gaze from Yosuke to gape at Yu, her mouth open in shock.

"Are you crazy, Yosuke? We almost died in there last time!" She yelled, giving the ginger-haired student a disapproving look. "We won't be as lucky the next ti-!"

"I saw Saki on the Midnight Channel last night." Yosuke interrupted her, his eyes screwing shut as he grimaced. "She was in pain. You could see it on her face."

"It terrified me. I nearly threw up because I had this terrible feeling come over me after seeing that." He continued, opening his eyes to stare directly into Yu's eyes. "And then I wake up and found out she's dead."

"What does that have to do with that other place, Yosuke?" Yu asked, meeting his stare with a look of confusion.

"The day Miss Yamano died, I overheard a kid claiming that she was his soulmate because he saw her on the Midnight Channel." Yosuke replied, sighing. "And then we saw her 'room' inside of… there."

"You think that there's going to be something related to Saki inside the TV…" Chie murmured in understanding, her eyes going wide.

"There's no guarantee that we'll even find anything, though, Yosuke." Yu countered, putting his hand on the other student's shoulder. "It's not worth the risk."

An awkward silence fell over the group as Yosuke stared at his shoes, before sighing and looking up at Yu, his gaze bearing down on Yu's own, making him shrink back.

"There's only one way to find out, huh?" The ginger-haired student murmured, a determined look on his face.

Get up.

Yu groaned as the voice echoed in his head, the throbbing of his limbs becoming more apparent the longer he laid on the floor, liquor lapping at his shoes.

You need to get up.

Pulling himself up on a barrel, his hands slipped as he pulled himself to his feet, sending him crashing back down to the floor.

Damn it, I'm too weak now. I can barely move. I'm… I'm fucked.

Only if you give up. Inside your pocket.

His hands numb, it took a bit of fumbling before Yu was finally able to reach inside his pocket, finding the small bottle of medicine that Yosuke had given him before entering the TV once more.

Absorb its essence. It will heal you.

Wordlessly, Yu listening to the voice's commands, opening the bottle and popping a few of the pills into his mouth. Swallowing, the effect was near instantaneous. The feeling returned to his limbs as the throbbing dulled as adrenaline re-entered his bloodstream.

Now get up. Now.

Hold on, I'm still sore, I might need a minute. Yu argued, the deep voice growing agitated as it echoed through his skull. He brought himself unsteadily to his feet, glasses perched precariously on the tip of his nose as he reached down to grip the golf club in a tight hold as he glanced around the arena.

Your enemy is behind you. Preparing to strike you down.

Alright then, asshole, Yu thought, turning towards the monstrosity lying in wait, time for round two.

Do not be foolish. You will not survive without my help.

The monstrosity cackled, its voice a twisted imitation of Yosuke's as wind whipped around its arms, gathering in its hands as it prepared its next attack.

You know what to do.

Gritting his teeth, Yu planted his feet as firmly as he could, reaching up towards the sky, his palm open as a blue, ethereal card came into existence above his waiting hand.

Now. Unleash me!

With a feral growl, Yu's hand jumped, enclosing around the card and crushing it, a familiar feeling of cathartic power rising up within him as he felt the air around him shift. Lowering his fist, he slid his glasses back up to their proper position in front of his eyes, his mouth growing into a twisted grin.

"Izanagi!"

"This is crazy, guys! Don't do this!" Chie begged, desperately glancing between Yu and Yosuke, who were standing near the flatscreen Yu had entered the previous day as Yu tied one end of the rope around Yosuke's waist.

"We have to, Chie." Yosuke reminded her, looking slightly nervous as he glanced around the store, golf club in one hand, baseball bat in the other, "It's the only way we'll know for certain."

"Please, Yu, talk to him!" Chie continued, turning her attention to the grey-haired student, "You were so against this before, why are you going along with it now?"

If it were up to me, Satonaka, I wouldn't be setting foot in that place ever again. Yu thought grimly, tugging on the knot he had tied to make sure it wouldn't come loose. But it's not. Not anymore, at least.

"Yosuke's right," Yu admitted, begrudgingly, "If we don't investigate this, then we potentially let a killer get away."

"But it's a slim chance as it is, Yu!" Chie argued, throwing her hands up, her expression fearful, "It's not worth dying over!"

"What if the killer targets your friend? What would you do then?" Yu countered, looking up at her, his gaze impassive behind his glasses.

Her protests grew silent in response as her shoulders slumped, her gaze shifting downwards as she admitted defeat. The feeling in the pit of Yu's stomach returned as he watched her change in demeanor.

I'm sorry, Satonaka. If there was any other way, I'd take it, he mused, closing his eyes in an attempt to steady his nerves, But I will not let my uncle or cousin get hurt, even if it's a slim chance.

"Do you at least have a plan?" The green-coated girl asked, gazing up at the duo.

"I grabbed these to defend ourselves," He replied, gesturing to the sporting equipment in his hands, "And some medicine in case we get hurt."

"But what's the rope for?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked over the pile of rope coiled near Yosuke's feet.

For the first time that day, Yosuke grinned, his normal shit-eating look banishing his tired expression as he tossed the golf club to Yu.

"That's in case we can't find that bear to let us out." He explained, scooping the pile up and holding it out to her, "If you feel a tug on the rope, you'll have to pull us out!"

"Are you insane?" She asked, dumbfounded, "Do you not realize how stupid this plan is?"

Yu only raised an eyebrow at the scene, placing one hand on the television's screen to open the portal as Yosuke chuckled.

"Remember- hold onto the rope!" He joked, mirth in his voice, "Our lives are in your hands!"

Chie spluttered, staring at the rope in her hands as she stumbled over her words. Yosuke turned away from her, walked up to the television, and placed his hand on the top of it.

"That was mean." Yu commented, his expression having returned to its neutral state.

"I'm just getting even for the kick the other day." Yosuke replied, his expression sobering, "Ready?"

Yu could only shrug as Yosuke ducked his head into the portal. Taking a deep breath, he ignored Chie's nervous stammering as he stepped in line behind Yosuke, closing his eyes as he felt the ground disappear beneath him.

Here goes nothing…

The effect was instant. No soon had he called out the name did his persona respond, reaching its left hand out, electricity leaping from its fingertips into the monstrosity.

The whirlwind it had been creating died as the bolt hit its mark, the electricity sending waves of pain through the monster's body.

It yelled in agony, but Yu ignored it, running up to the stunned form of the creature as his persona, Izanagi, flew overhead.

Charging its naginata with electricity, Izanagi brought down the bladed weapon with a roar, slamming it into the frog's rider, sending the frog's face into the dirt as the rider scrambled on the floor, its hands searching for purchase amongst the scattered debris.

Yu was on him in an instant, cracking the rider across the face with the business end of the golf club, putting as much force behind the strike as he could, the blow sending the monstrosity reeling.

"Again!" Yu yelled, his command ringing out firm and true as Izanagi stabbed its naginata into the frog's back. Instead of just wrenching it out, however, the persona jumped back, calling electricity down to strike the makeshift lightning rod, sending every ounce of energy straight into the creature's spine.

With a growl, the creature called upon the winds, summoning a whirlwind around him, sending Yu skidding backwards, his golf club held up to defend his face from the winds buffeting it. Izanagi was likewise blown off course, his flight going awry before he disappeared, his weapon likewise fading away as he did.

The monstrosity rose to its feet once more, its posture tense and angry as it stared down Yu, the prey that bit the predator back.

"You'll pay for that you son of a bitch!" The creature screamed, its imitation of a voice cracking as it did so.

It jumped forward towards Yu, using its wind to boost it forward at a blinding speed. Faster than he thought he could, however, Yu sprinted for the creature and dove right under its path, narrowly avoiding another collision.

Before he even came to a halt, he was already calling upon Izanagi once more, the blue card floating above his palm before being crushed by his fist. He need not speak a word this time, however, as Izanagi knew what its master desired.

With a beastial roar, it electricuted the monstrosity, before slamming into it shoulder first, sending it skidding into the wall. It rose to counterattack, but Izanagi was faster, slamming the naginata into the creature blade first.

Pulling it out, he slammed it into the creature's back again and again, providing an ample distraction for Yu to rush the monster once more. Clamboring up its leg and onto its back, Yu positioned himself behind the rider before letting out a feral yell of his own.

He slammed the golf club into the back of the rider's head as hard as he could, repeating the process over and over until the gold club was practically ruined.

Caught up in the moment, he never noticed that Izanagi had faded away, or that the creature had stopped moving until he was gasping for breath, the golf club in his hands bent into an L from the abuse it took.

He wordlessly scrambled off the creatures back as it dissolved into an inky mist, a relieved smile splitting his face as he panted.

Holy shit. I actually did it. I fucking did it!

His bewildered laughter intermixed with Teddie's awed congratulations as Yosuke stirred, a groan on his lips.

"What…" The ginger-haired student croaked, "What happened?"

Yu wasn't sure what he expected to find when he exited from the… TV World, he assumed they could call it, and reentered Junes with Yosuke slung over one shoulder.

A sobbing Chie Satonaka was not what he expected at all.

"Y-you guys…!" She hiccupped, twisting the rope in her hands, "You c-came back!"

"'Course we did," Yosuke stated in an attempt to seem confident, "What did I tell you?"

"You d-didn't tell me the rope would break!" She wheezed, tears welling in her eyes.

"How was I supposed to know it was going to break?" He asked, his voice sounding annoyed despite its tired tone.

"I-it was your s-stupid plan!" She screamed at him, throwing the rope at the duo as hard as she could.

"Ow!" Yosuke yelped, wincing more than he probably would have without his lethargy, "What was that for?"

"Y-you just- of all the-!" She spluttered, her devastated expression morphing into one of pure malice and rage.

This looks… really bad. Really, really bad.

"You s-scare me like that and t-then you have the nerve to ask w-why I'm upset?!" She yelled, stamping her foot as hot tears spilled down her face, "I thought you two were d-dead!"

"But-" Yosuke opened his mouth to retort, but Chie ignored him and continued her rant like he hadn't even attempted to speak in the first place.

"I nearly p-puked because I thought I was gonna see your stupid b-bodies hanging like Saki was!" She rounded on Yosuke, putting her face right in his as she continued her tirade, "And then you have the nerve to act like this, this pompous ass who's completely innocent! I can see why Saki thought you were an annoying piece of shit!"

Yu's eyes grew wide in shock as Yosuke paled a bit at that statement, Chie's comments unknowingly hitting harder than she meant them to thanks to his experience in the TV.

"And as for you-" She continued, turning on Yu, oblivious to Yosuke's sudden mood change, "You have been doing nothing but being the most frustrating, callous jerk I have ever met!"

Yu gulped as Chie's face grew close enough that he could feel the hot breath steaming out of her nose as she panted with rage.

"We tried to be nice to you and you treated us like shit!" Chie yelled, staring Yu down, "If you hate this town so much, like you seem to act like, then why don't you go back to where you came from?! No one here would miss an asshole like you!"

Yu's shoulders slumped and his mouth hung open slightly as Chie finished her tirade, her shoulders heaving as she fumed with excess rage.

"Screw both of you assholes." Chie stated, just loud enough for them to hear over her clenched teeth, "I'm going home."

Without another word she turned and ran off, leaving Yosuke and Yu standing there in silence. Yu stared off into the distance, watching where Chie had disappeared to.

Yosuke coughed, breaking the awkward silence.

"We should probably be getting home, Yu." He murmured, shuffling awkwardly. "After a scene like that I don't think I can handle talking to other people right now."

"...We're just going to leave her then?" Yu wondered out loud, his gaze unwavering, "Shouldn't we apologise?"

"Apologise?" Yosuke asked, incredulous, "Listen, everything will be alright in the end- me and Chie have fought before and we always make up afterwards. She just needs to cool off."

"I should… I should apologise." Yu stated, ignoring Yosuke's explanation as the bittersweet feeling in his stomach returned, "I need to apologise to her."

"You can apologise tomorrow, Yu," Yosuke countered, looking down to pick up the rope, not noticing that Yu had already taken off.

"Wha- hey!" Yosuke began, looking up at Yu's form retreating into the distance, "What about this crap?! Are you leaving me to take care of this by myself?! Some friend you are!"

Sorry, Yosuke, but this is more important. I messed up. Big time. Now I have to make it right.

"Satonaka! Satonaka!" Yu yelled, running after the green-coated student, weaving between the rows of cars to reach her before she left the Junes parking lot.

Why am I even doing this? He asked herself, panting as he chased after the student, her green coat visible as she ran past the gaps between the vehicles. She probably hates me now after all I've done.

She had made that clear from the way she had ignored him all day, only acknowledging him when Yosuke told her his stupid plan. Then she cursed him and Yosuke out for nearly getting themselves killed and worrying her half to death.

But she did worry. Why would she worry about an asshole like me? She still cares… somewhat.

He recalled her tear-streaked face and enraged expression when he left afterwards, just turning and running off, fresh tears in her eyes. She didn't seem like the type to get overwhelmed by emotions, so to see her this worked up was a surprise. Honestly, though, he didn't expect to get anywhere with his olive branch. Why was he even trying?

Damn it, stop thinking that way, he thought, his shoulders sagging slightly, I need to make amends. I need to apologise. That's why I'm trying.

"Satonaka!" He yelled again, turning the corner of the row she was walking along, "Hold on!"

The green-coated student stopped upon hearing her name, turning to fix him with a furious glare. Yu slowed down, coming to a stop a couple feet behind her, mostly out of fear more than anything else.

"What?!" She asked, practically spitting the words out at him, "What in the hell do you want? Haven't you done enough already?"

"Yeah," he began, slightly out of breath, head drooping, "I have. But I shouldn't have."

She cocked an eyebrow at him, confused, as he took a few tentative steps towards her.

"You've done nothing but try to be nice to me," He continued, his voice growing quieter, "And all I did was spit on what you were trying to do."

The anger drained out of her face as tears continued to roll down her cheeks.

"I… I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry." He trailed off, awkwardly scratching the back of his head before continuing, "I just wanted to tell you that I won't bother you anymore if you do hate me now…"

"I d-don't hate you," She began, sniffling, "But you do frustrate the crap out of me."

"I can only imagine how bad I can be," He continued, nodding, "Want to start from the beginning?"

She wiped her nose with the back of her hand before smirking.

"How am I supposed to know if this'll be a repeat of last time?" She asked, looking at him with a stern expression.

"Trust me," he answered, chuckling, "I promise I'll do better. I'll at least try my hardest to."

"Hmmm…" She murmured, appraising him with a critical eye, "I guess that'll have to do for now."

He stuck his hand out, mimicking her gesture from the other day. She looked down at his hand for a moment before looking back up at his face, a grin growing on it as she reached out and grasped his hand with enthusiasm, shaking it jovially.

Something odd happened to him when she did so, though. It felt as though time stopped, and a sense of clarity came over his whole being. His breath hitched for a second before he blinked, and with it the illusion was broken. He shook his head to clear his thoughts as she glanced up at him, amusement lighting up in her eyes.

"Maybe you can tell me why you were acting like that at some point?" She asked, wiping her tears off her face, "I mean, it was kind of a dick move."

"Maybe some day," he replied, looking off wistfully as he began walking in the direction she was going.

They walked side-by-side for a while in silence, enjoying the other's company, and the cool night air.

"Y'know," Chie began, sticking her hands in her coat pockets as she glanced over at Yu, "You guys are still assholes for that whole rope thing."

"Yeah, we are." Yu agreed, a small smile on his face for once, "I'm sorry, Chie."

"Oh, by the way, don't worry too much- I forgive easily." Chie replied with a smirk, "The price of m my forgiveness is a meal at Aiya."

"Of course it is." He chuckled, feeling happy for the first time in a long while.

Author's Note:

Oh my god, new chapter, double the length of the story thus far. Ooh baby I feel woozy now.

So, in this chapter I tried a little switcheroo, swapping between a fight and some quieter drama scenes for a really meaty chapter. I feel really good about the last scene in particular, so let me know what you think.

God, getting strep throat is great, I wrote most of this chapter on my lonesome today and I made some major progress in SMT IV! Woo!

Oh, and before I forget, I might have another Persona story idea bouncing around my head, and it may or may not be published around the time that Chapter 5 of this comes out. Stay on the look out for it!

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the new chapter, I put a lot of work into this one so I hope it's good.

Sentinel07 - Glad to see you returned to read Chapter 3, here's hoping that Chapter 4 is up to your high standards as well.
