Dean knew that she was going to be far from happy that she was going to be on research durty for the next couple of months and he was going to try to make it as entertaining as he can for her. He knew that she was not the type of girl that would be happy that she won't be able to go out and hunt like she uses to for a few months. He already had a few ideas on his mind that he could do to keep her busy apart from research, taking her out shooting would help some of the built up anger that was going to happen. He let out a small sigh of relief as he continued to drive down the road towards Bobby's house, he knew Bobby would be happy to see her. It had been a good year or more since the father-daughter duo had seen one another. The hand of his that was wrapped in her hair, stayed there as the other tapped out the beat of the song over the stereo system. Dean had wondered what she was dreaming about as she laid there against him as he drove down the road.

Eleanor was happy there in the Impala as it drove down the road towards her father's house, she hadn't been this happy in a long while. She hadn't felt pure happiness since the day Dean, Cas, and Dick hitching a ride on the train to purgatory, that was the day that she lost her happiness. She didn't know back then if she'd ever even see Dean again if he would even make it back. She had nightmares of him not making it back, of him dying in purgatory.

He looked down at her, feeling at peace for once. He could tell that she was at peace, at least for the time being she was and Dean knew that could change at any given moment. There could be a call for a case they get and she'll be worried sick until he returned home safely to her. He also knew that he wouldn't always be able to keep the promise of returning home safely to her, not in their line of work. He moved his arm slightly to turn the stereo down a little, Ellie shifted slightly against him. It was then that he noticed the scar she had at the base of her neck, one he hadn't seen before. One that was more recent than her other ones, one that caused a red flag to go up for him. Dean swallowed the lump that was forming in his throat as he did his best to push the thoughts that were threatening to race into his head out before they could enter. He took a deep breath as he pushed some of her red hair from the area, glancing at the road once in a while. His rough fingertips gently brush up against the scar on the woman next to him.

"Crowley made me a blood slave to a handful of vampires he had working for him. Nothing to worry about, Dean," Ellie's soft voice broke into Dean's head before she sat up with a small yawn. She moved her hair and head so he could get a better look at the scar. "Before you ask, Sammy took care of the vampires so they haven't been out looking for me or stalking me."

Elle ran a hand through her hair as she looked out the windshield as they passed a sign for Sioux Falls and she couldn't help but smile at the thought of seeing her dad and the house she grew up in. A small sigh left her lips as she watched the familiar trees go by the window as they drove down the road. It didn't take them long to get into Sioux Falls and Ellie's eyes scanned every inch of the town that her eyes could as they drove through on their way to Bobby's house. She had her bottom lip drawn between her teeth as they pulled into the driveway that she was all too familiar driving up and down.

"Everything is going to be fine, Ellie Mae, I promise," Dean said as he reached across and gently squeezed her hand. He parked the car before glancing over at her, tucking some of her red hair behind her ear before kissing her softly. "You are his daughter, he's going to be happy to see you, babe." His thumb brushed against her cheek as he watched her look out at her childhood home. Dean knew she was a little nervous, it had been over a year since she had been in Bobby's house, over a year since she even talks to her father or sister.

Ellie ran a hand through her red hair as she glanced over the house and yard that she knew all too well, the memories that came flooding back to her from her childhood. She let out a soft sigh before looking over at Dean and opening the car door, putting on foot out on the dirt of the driveway. Her eyes closed as she got out of the Impala and took a deep breath in, taking in the scents of her childhood. The fresh air and motor oil hitting her nose first, then the smell of stale beer and cornbread, a smile spread across her face. As she started to walk up towards the house, she got a gut feeling, one that she couldn't shake no matter what she did. Eleanor drew her bottom lip in between her teeth as she walked up to the door, Dean hot on her heels as she knocked on the door.

A very tired Bobby answered the door and the look on his face was one of shock, confusion, and anger mixed together on his aging face. He wasn't sure what to make of the scene in front of him, his daughter and Dean standing on his doorstep, together. Bobby moved aside to let the pair into his house, his eyes moving to Dean before moving back to his daughter. He knew whatever happened, whatever was going to happen, was not going to be good. Bobby just wanted to know which one of the two to blame for dragging Ellie back into this life after she managed to get out of it for as long as she had been.

"Dad, before you speak, Dean isn't all to blame for me being here. Long story short would be about a year ago I was at out at a bar with some friends when I saw Dean's ghost or at least I thought it was, but a gut feeling told me differently. I'll give him credit because he did stay away, or at least at a distance, for a while. He stayed in my shadow for a while, always staying two steps behind me, only showing up once a month. At least, he did until my ex-fiance left for a tour in Iran and I seek Dean out, had a moment of weakness. Everything was fine after that until I came home this morning to Ryan in bed with his best friend's wife." Ellie sighed softly before her gaze move towards her father, her eyebrow raised slightly. She was worried that her father might not take the news well and she was afraid if he didn't take the news of Dean stalking her for like six months than she knew Bobby wouldn't take the news of his daughter carrying Dean's unborn child.

Bobby's face was stern, hard, and even a little cold as he stood there and listened to his daughter go on about how Dean had stalked his way back into her life, dragged her back into the life that he never wanted for her. He let out a sigh when she finished, understanding why she was here now, she didn't really have anywhere else to go after finding out her fiance was cheating on her. Bobby ran a hand down his face before he walked over to the refrigerator and grabbed three beers and walking back over to the pair. "You're welcome to stay here, Ellie, you know that," he started before opening his beer and taking a long swig off of it and looking between Dean and Ellie. His eyebrows perked up slightly when Ellie set her beer down without even opening it, he knew by the expression on her face that there was something else she wasn't telling him, something she left out of the story. "What is it, Ellie? What are you not telling me?"

Swallowing the lump that had now form in her throat, Ellie looked at Dean before glancing over at her father. Dean merely nodded his head at her before sitting down on the couch and opening his beer. She sighed softly to herself before taking a deep breath in before looking up at Bobby. "I'm pregnant with Dean's baby," her voice was soft as she spoke, her eyes moving to Dean who was looking at the floor between his boots. Well, that was now out in the open for her father to process and hopefully, he'll take that news better than when he got the call that she had to have her stomach pumped because of the amount of whiskey she had drunk and would be spending a night in the Sioux Fall Hospital. Elle wasn't sure how her father was handling the news that he was going to be a grandfather soon, she took her eyes off of Bobby to look at Dean who was sitting there sipping his beer.

Bobby let out a sigh as he looked at his daughter and Dean, he knew it was bound to happen at some point. He could see the signs of the two of them falling in love when they were kids and into their teenage years. Bobby had sent them on a few hunts by themselves and he was always worried about her coming home pregnant. A small yet happy smile spread across Bobby's lips, he was happy that he was going to be a grandfather and that his daughter was happy. He walked over to the pair of them and gave each of them a hug. "Congratulations, guys, I'm happy for you," he said with a bright smile as he ruffled Ellie's hair. He knew they'd have a lot to do to get ready for the little life that was going to be here soon, that Ellie wouldn't be out hunting like she'd probably like to be. Bobby looked over at Dean before glancing around the room, expecting Sam to walk in at some point now. "Where's Sam?"

"On a case, a state over or so, a werewolf or two. Nothing that Sammy can't handle," Dean said with a small smile as he ran a hand through his short blonde hair. He took a swig off of the beer as he looked at the Bobby and Ellie, the small smile getting slightly bigger when they fell on the redhead. He reached over and grabbed her hand with his softly before moving closer to her as she moved closer to him. Dean put his arm around her shoulders as Ellie put her head on his shoulder, her forehead against his neck gently.

Sam was able to handle the gig with the werewolf on his own, Dean knew that and he was that if things even went an inch sideways that Sam would call. It was a simple job, one that Sam would be in and out of in a matter of a few days. Dean was planning on checking in with his brother in a day or two, make sure that the gig was taken care, that Sam was all right. The brothers had handled werewolves before, they were usually a quick and easy job for them. His eyes moved over towards Bobby who merely nodded his head before he took another swig off of his beer bottle.

Ellie and Dean sat in the room as Bobby went into the kitchen and started to make all of Ellie's childhood favorites; apple pie, bacon cheeseburgers with tater tots, along with chili and cornbread. She put her legs over one of Dean's legs as she glanced around the room, memories of their childhood running back to her. Memories of her and Bobby, her and Dean, her and Sammy.

"Eleanor Mae, get your ass down here. We need to get going," Bobby's voice rang from downstairs up to his daughter. Ellie had been in her room, stubbornly getting ready to head out with her father to see John and the boys, well to pick the boys up so John could go off on a hunt. She sighed softly to herself as she pulled her boots on and stomped down the stairs.

"Daddy, do we really have to go and get them, have them stay with us?" A ten-year-old Ellie asked Bobby once she was on the first floor, standing next to him. She ran a hand through her red hair before she grabbed her jacket and started for the door, glancing back at Bobby as he spoke.

"John needs me to keep an eye on the boys while he hunts down this werewolf over in Montana. It'll only be for a couple of days, Ellie, okay? Then the boys will be back with John and things will be back to normal," Bobby spoke firmly as he opened the door that she was standing next to and motioned for her to walk out towards the car.

Elle rolled her eyes as she walked over to the car, her arms folded across her chest as she kicked the dirt as she walked. The last time she saw Dean and Sam, things ended a tad rough between her and Dean. He ended up going back to John with a busted lip and a black eye, which Bobby had to explain that Dean wouldn't leave Ellie alone and she punched him twice trying to get it across to him that she had had enough of him in her space. Once she got to the car she opened the door and got into the front seat, her arms still crossed over her chest firmly.

Bobby got into the car and started it up, glancing over at his daughter, a small sigh escaping his lips as he ran a hand over his face and down his beard. "Look, Ellie, we'll stop and get a couple bacon cheeseburgers and an apple pie on our way home, all right?" He asked her as he backed out of their driveway. Bobby hoped that offering her food, for the time being, would get her off the subject at least for a little while. He knew how his daughter was currently feeling about the eldest of the Winchester children, but there was nothing he could do. He had to keep an eye on Dean and Sam for John, at least until John got back from the hunt.

"I don't see why I can't just go stay with Ellen and Jo while they're here. I at least get along with Jo," Ellie said under her breath as she watched the trees go by her window as they drove down the road. She had hit Dean pretty hard the last time she saw him and she didn't feel bad about it, she just didn't want to deal with him. Eleanor sighed as she saw her dad shake his head at her suggestion. Ellen would have taken her in and kept an eye on her for a few days until John could get back from his hunt.

A small, yet heavy sigh escaped from Bobby's lips before he could even think about it, he knew that Ellen would be more than happy and willing to take Ellie in for a few days while he watched the boys, but he wasn't raising someone who ran from her problems. "Listen, Ellie, I know you're not happy about Dean and Sam coming to stay at the house for a few days, but you don't have a choice. I told John I'd keep an eye on them while he was hunting this werewolf down, besides I have a plan to keep Dean busy with working on cars with me. You'll just have to keep an eye on Sam and keep him entertained, think you can do that if I make all of your favorites while they're here?" He asked with a small hopeful smile on his face. Quickly glancing over at his daughter, he saw that she nodded her head slightly, still unhappy with it all.

The rest of the ride to the motel in a few towns over was in silence, neither of the two of them said anything else to the other. He parked the car next to the Impala before turning it off and gazing over at his daughter. "You can stay here while I go and get the boys, and, Elle, try and be nice," he said before getting out of the car and heading over to the door that had a silver number 5 on it, while she sat in the front seat waiting for them all.

It hadn't taken long before the door opened up to show a tired-looking John Winchester, who looked out at Eleanor before nodding and slightly closing the door. She sat there in the car, her eyebrow perked slightly when she heard Dean's voice come through the cracked door.

"I'm not going anywhere with her! My nose is still busted from the last time I saw her," Dean's voice came, causing Ellie to smirk as she uncrossed her arms slightly as she kept her eyes on the door. Dean's frame came into view causing her to smirk more and wave a little at him, trying to play nice.

"Dean, you're going with Bobby and Ellie. You can't come with me, that's an order, son." John's voice carried to her ears, causing her to flinch slightly. She knew that tone the Winchester father used on his son, it wasn't one she heard him use often, but when she did it scared her. "Get your ass in Bobby's car. Now, Dean, move!"

It wasn't long after that, Ellie saw Dean and Saw standing in the door to the motel room, Dean looking pissed as he made his way towards the car. He flipped Ellie off before getting into behind the driver's seat, glaring at the back of her head. Sam getting in behind Ellie, smiling at her the whole way from the motel room to the car.
