I own nothing.

Sorry I've been away so long.

Last Time

Rogue smiles, "Kagome actually goes through blankets like you do Logan. You both actually are a lot alike."

"Yeah and no one should have to go through that."

"How did you sleep? Any of your usual dreams?"

"No, once I went back to sleep I was out."

"Then you both should talk to Professor Xavier about it when we get back and see what he says about it, maybe you two can sleep together after all."

This Time

The ride back to the mansion was quiet as they both thought of how to bring up the topic to Professor Xavier. Turning up the drive Kagome gives a growl as she slides back in the seat, away from Logan. He turns to her in question.

"Jean has apparently been waiting for us." She trails her eyes up to the big windows at the top of the stairs.

Logan looks up as well, he scoffs and shakes his head, "We should have stopped for a drink."

Kagome giggles, "Yeah like that would help. Even if we came back before 10 they would probably just assume that we went somewhere you got me drunk and took advantage of me. I don't think they would guess that I'm more likely to take advantage of you."

Pulling into the garage they both climb off the bike, "Go with the others and put your things away. I'll meet you downstairs when you're done."

Kagome nods and gets her things together before heading upstairs with Rogue and Kitty. As they walk through the door Jean and Scott pass them.

Logan doesn't look up as he steps out onto the driveway and lights a cigar.

Like always Scotts the first one to start in, "Why wasn't she wearing a helmet? If she's going to be riding that thing she needs to wear protection."

"Yeah well, she didn't want to."

"Oh she didn't want to. That sounds like a fantastic reason for someone to be hurt or killed, sorry but she didn't want to wear a helmet so I didn't make her. What if you got in an accident?"

"We didn't."

Jean steps forward, "Yes but what if you did. You're in charge of her Logan."

"I know what I'm in charge of, she wouldn't have gotten hurt."

Scott scoffs, "And how do you know that."

"Look bub. We have the same mutations that's how know. I have experience."

"It's still stupid and reckless. Why was she on the bike anyway, she could have rode in the car with the others. And even more so, why were you even with them?"

"She wanted me to go so I went, it's no big deal."

"It kind of is a big deal, you've only been here one day you shouldn't be that close to her."

"Is that really what this is about?" Logan turns to face them, "You're upset because I got her to start talking and relaxing and neither of you had been able to do a damn thing for her."

"And what do you think is going to happen when you leave? Who's going to get to pick up the pieces?"

Logan swings, his fist connecting with the wall by Scotts head, "As long as she's here I'll be here prissy boy and you can either get the hell over it or get the hell out of the way." Jean and Scott stand there shocked as Logan removes his fist from the newly cracked wall and walks into the house.

Kagome was coming down the stairs as Logan came in, "You're upset."

He scoffs, "I'll be fine. Let's go talk to Wheels."

Walking next to him down the hall she lets her arm and shoulder brush against him. He looks down at her with a smirk, visibly relaxing, before shaking his head again. Getting to the door he knocks and waits for permission to enter.

"Come in you two." was heard on the other side before Logan opened the door, letting them both in.

"We need to talk Wheels."

"Yes, I understand. But first you've made your decision correct?"

"Yes, we have professor, we would like to go during winter break that way it won't interfere with schooling."

Charlies nods, "That is very wise reasoning, I shall get everything taken care of on that subject. Now onto the next. I'm truthfully not sure how to go about this subject with Jean and Scott, but as far as I am concerned you have my understanding and approval on sharing a room."

"So what happens then?" Kagome asks.

Logan growls, "Are we just supposed to let them walk in and make a big about it?"

"No, you're not, that would just end in fighting amongst the team. I'll call a meeting momentarily to let all the other instructors know, Jean and Scott included. However, Logan, I do want to add another bed to your room. Weather you use it or not is no one's concern but your own, but I'm hoping that it will lessen their anger."

"And if it doesn't?"

"Our number one priority here is to educate and help the younger generation of mutants. In Kagome's case, you have been the only one to get any true response from her and you've been here just over 24-hours. There truly isn't a way around that fact and everyone here knows that. And if we are being perfectly honest here, I thought something like this may happen if she were to meet you."

"You thought what?"

"Even upon first meeting Kagome it was plain to see that your mutations were extremely alike, but where you are harsh and outspoken she was timid and empathetic, at least she was until she ran her first test in the danger room. Do you know what Jean and Scott agreed upon as she was finishing her drill? They both commented and agreed that Kagome was just like you and that you would be the best to train her. And I will be sure to mention that in the meeting."

"But do you think that it will get them to leave us alone?"

"I can't know that for sure Kagome, but I will try to make them understand as best as I can."

"And if it doesn't work?"

"If it doesn't work and they continue to act as they have, you can both agree to let the instructors know about you or you can continue as you have, trying to ignore them as best as possible."

"What about if we let the other professors know first and get their 'okay' about it first, then when everyone else knows we let it slip to them. Then if they get angry about it the other professors can talk them down."

"So you plan on using peer pressure to get them to cooperate?"

"If that is what it takes, yes."

Logan smiles at her, "I like it. Let's call the others in first, explain the situation to them, then call in the other two and tell them all about the room thing."

Professor Xavier looks at Kagome, "Are you sure that you're comfortable with that?"

She nods, "Yes Professor."

So how do you think the other professors will take it? And how long until Jean and Scott find out?

You know what to do RR&R.
