A/N: Hey guys, Nightstalker here with an update and I hope it was worth the wait. But first some announcements:
I am going to be focusing on this story a lot more now, seeing that I really want to get it finished as soon as possible. That means I will not be updating "HALO: The Andromeda Chonicles" for a little while. HTAC was originally meant to be a side project where I could post one shot stories for the "Andromeda" universe I created. I not gonna abandon it, I just not going to be focusing as much time on it as I did before.
I redid the intro for "A Demon in Crystal Tokyo" (Still working on a new title) since some of you were not happy with what I had originally written down and after reading it, neither was I. Now it has more information for you to go on, so you may what to take a look. I also recently stumbled on an Anime called "Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri" and after binge watching it, I have been inspired to try my hand at doing a fic. That may not happen for a little while, but I suggest you check out the anime at least once, but watch it from the first episode or you won't have a clue as to what is going on.
And 3) I have to confess that a couple years ago, I got diagnosed with anxiety disorder which was one of the major reasons as to why I changed jobs. So if you wondered why I don't update as much as I did before, well there you go. I have been going to a clinic to help with it, but its a uphill climb to at least manage it. I know it's weird for me to come out with this, but I finally decided to let let you all know that even real life has kicked me in the gut more than a few times in the last few years.
Anyway... that's all for now, so on to the story...

{ Battle of the Daedalus Pt. 1}
Something was wrong... very wrong, and Galaxia could feel it in her very core.
First Lead Crow had seemingly vanished without a trace, now Tin Nyanko had gone missing as well. This was a situation the evil senshi was not accustomed to, sure she had lost many in her personal army over the years, but they were all "killed" by her own hand for one reason or another. This time though, was diffirent.
This planet, called "Earth" by the natives, was proving to be more than a challenge to destroy due to the world's resident Senshi. It were these senshi which had forced her to dispose of both Sailor Iron Mouse and SailorAluminum Siren, but now two of her senshi had more or less vanished without a trace, Galaxia could not even sense them even with her great power. For the first time, Galaxia did not know what had happened to her minions.
It was then a thought came to her twisted mind, or rather... a recollection. During her genocidal crusade across the galaxy, Galaxia would sometimes hear a name being used by the people she would ultimately destroy. The name of a group who exploits had become legendary and were said to have made the Gods themselves tremble in fear. The Tau'ri.
From what she could remember hearing over the years, The Tau'ri were a group of skilled yet unconventional warriors who traveled throughout the Galaxy and helped those who were in need. All the while, not shying away from battling those who seeked to do harm. They had earned the respect and friendship of the most powerful civilizaitions galaxy, while many others feared and resented them.
Galaxia knew it would have been a matter of time before she would finally encounter this "legendary" group, and was confident that she would have no problem with either destroying them outright, or convincing them to join her. But now there was a complication.
Was it possible that this Tau'ri and the Senshi of this world had now joined forces to defeat her? It would explain just why the Star Lights were now here as well. They couldn't save their planet, so they went in search of the Tau'ri to help them. Maybe... the Tau'ri were the ones responsible for Lead Crow's and Nyanko's disappearance. If that were the case, then these Tau'ri could be more problematic than once previously thought.
Suddenly within the darkness which surrounded Galaxia's throne, two figures emerged and walked towords their master. Both beings had pink hair with matching hair styles and wore similar, dress like outfits. Though one wore green and the other, pink.
"Galaxia-sama, in what way can we serve you today?" the twin sisters said in unison, as they knelt down before their master and bow their heads.
"Sailor Lethe, Sailor Mnemosyne." the gold cladded senshi addressed her minions. "Your comrades Sailor Lead Crow and Sailor Tin Nyanko have gone missing."
"What do you think has happened to them?" Sailor Lethe asked her master, sounding completely un-phased by the loss of her fellow Animamates.
It was at this point that Galaxia stood up from her Throne and began to walk down towards the two women. "I believe that a group we have heard of during our travels, may not have been stories after all."
"The Tau'ri?" Mnemosyne asked, as both herself and her sister were well aware of the legends. "They are here?"
"And have teamed up with the Senshi of this world." Galaxia finished.
"Do you need us to locate the Tau'ri for you, Galaxia?" Lethe asked, both thrilled yet apprehensive about going after a group who were known to make "Gods" tremble in fear.
"Yes, but I want to be the one who ultimately destroys them." Galaxia said in a cool, almost sinister manner. "These... Tau'ri... They give this galaxy hope, even to those they have never directly encountered. When I destroy the Tau'ri, then the Galaxy will lose that hope and know that when I come, their will be no one who could save them, nor stop me."
A wicked smile formed on the twin's faces as they knew just what their master wanted to do, and they could not help but to feel a bit excited. It was not often that Galaxia requested their assistance but when she did, the twins enjoyed it. Now they were going to help her destroy the one ofe the very last bastions of hope the galaxy had.
"So where do we start?"

Although officially designated as Battle Cruisers, both the Prometheus and the Daedalus acted more like "Aircraft" carriers thanks to their compliment of F-302s. With Galaxia poised to attack Earth, both warship had begun to launch their fighters in an attempt to locate evil senshi before she arrived.
Thanks to the information given by Nyanko, both the USAF and the Senshi knew that Galaxia herself had still yet to arrive on Earth. They did not know how long it would be before she'd arrive, but hopefully they would have time to prepare a plan of attack. But there was one individual who was on board who was still finding it difficult to adjust to her new found freedom.
From her vantage point on board the Daedalus, Nyanko could see the warship's compliment of fighter craft launch into space. But her mind was deep in thought. Memories long suppressed while under Galaxia's influence, memories of family and friends long gone, came flooding back. Memories she had problems dealing with, now that she was fully aware of her actions. Maybe she would be able to forgive herself one day, but to Nyanko, that day may never come.
"Hopefully with the adjustments we made to the sensors, we should be able to detect any unusual energy signatures." Carter explained, as both herself and Ami addressed the assembled senshi and SG-1. "The earlier we are able to detect Galaxia's approach, we may be able to create a plan to deal with her." Ami commented, as the display behind the duo began to show just how wide an area the sensors could cover.
"With the F-302s acting as amplifiers for the screen, we would be able to see her long before she could see us." Carter replied, "Or at least, that's the hope."
"Still better than nothing." O'Neill stated, "Great job, you two."
"I have to say, I am highly impressed." Kakyuu replied. "You were able to create such a sensor screen in such short space of time."
"I can't take all the credit." Carter replied, "Miss Mizuno here helped a lot in the calculations."
"That's our Ami." Makoto replied proudly, as the blue haired girl herself blushed a bit.
"We may now be able to see her coming, but we still need a plan of attack for when she finally arrives." Sailor Star Fighter stated.
"We tried to face her head on when she first arrived on our world." Star Healer stated, "But... but we were unable to stop her..."
"She is quite powerful." Kakyuu added, as she could remember seeing the destruction first hand. "She has not just destroyed planets, but entire civilizations as well."
"Then maybe we should try to fight harder, but smarter." O'Neill stated, which gained everyone's attention. "Instead of fighting on her terms, maybe we can make her fight on ours and on our turf."
"Lure her into a environment we control, then throw everything we have at her?" Morrison asked curiously. "Maybe if we could like, trap her long enough Sailor Moon to defeat her?"
"But how do we do that?" Rei spoke up.
"We could MacGyver something up." Sam replied, "We could rig some field generators to trap Galaxia in a energy field."
"But we still need to find a place to lure her so we can do this." Ami stated. "Somewhere far away from the population so no one else can get hurt."
' General O'Neill, sensors are picking up an unknown object on a course to intercept us. '
A new voice suddenly announced over the intercom system, a uneasy feeling suddenly falling upon everyone that was there. No one needed to say it, but they knew Galaxia had found them.
"All hands, battle stations! Have the F-302s shadow, but do not engage. Activate defense grid." O'Neill ordered, before he turned to the senshi and said, "Looks like the party is coming to us. If you want, we can have you back in Tokyo before the attack begins."
"No..." Usagi stated firmly. "We are going to face her eventually, might as well be now."
"She's right." Kakyuu replied. "I.. we are tired og hiding, we will stay and fight." To which both the Starlights and the Senshi nodded in agreement, their facial expressions showing that they were not going to stand by and allow their new friends to face Galaxia alone.
"Very well. Morrison and McKenzie will join you as well, seeing that you have worked well with them in the past." The General replied, to everone agreed. Before they filed out of the breifing room and got ready to face this new threat.
Meanwhile in space, the F-302s were doing as they were told and keeping their distance from this new threat. But all of them had their missile payloads armed an ready just in case their new guest decided to focus their attention on them. Soon the hulking mass that was the Daedalus came into view and the beam of golden energy began to "dive" towards the battle cruiser. It was at this point that the vessel came alive, as the numerous rail guns came to life and began to fire on the intruders. But the hyper sonic shells had little to no effect on the target, as the distance between them became shorter and shorter.
But where the rail guns failed to stop the object, the Daedalus' advanced shielding didn't. Glowing brightly as the would be attacker slamed into it, before bouncing off of it harmlessly and back into space. But it was quick to recover and contine it's attack.
Meanwhile back on board the warship, the senshi had transformed and were waiting for Galaxia to show herself, but they were not alone. The the battle cruiser's internal security team, as well as members of SG-1 had joined them as well and they were all armed to the teeth. Most notably, Morrison was armed with a M249 light machine gun, sometimes known as "The SAW", while McKenzie had grabbed a AA-12 Automatic Shotgun which was fitted with a "Drum" magazine. These were unconventional weapons, but then again they were facing off against an unconventional enemy.
Even though she no longer had the ability to transform into a Senshi, Nyanko still felt she had a duty to protect her new friends. After some pleading, General O'Neill allowed her to carry a Beretta 9mm pistol, which was the standard side arm for the USAF. After a brief lesson on how to use it, the former senshi was now with the security team and was waiting for their enemy to arrive.
"What are those sounds?" Sailor Moon asked curiously, as every so often the Daedalus would shudder and moan.
"The railguns." a member of the security team replied, "They are opening fire."
"So you think they will drive what ever it is off?"
'INDRUDER ALERT! Deck 4!' A voice suddenly announced over the com system.
"I guess not." McKenzire replied, as he switched off the safety on his shot gun. But just as the group was about to move out...
'INTRUDER ALERT! Hanger 1!'
"Two of them?" Morrison asked, a confused expression forming on his face.
"Sailors Lethe and Mnemosyne..." Nyanko suddenly squeaked out. "Galaxia's twin assassins."
"What?" Jupiter asked, "assassins? How do you know this?"
Nyanko just nodded somberly before she said, "I don't know, but its them. They are Galaxia's attack dogs as it were. They were the one who were normally sent out to... to neutralize senshi who were problematic."
"Then I guess we should go and be problematic?" Morrison quipped, which caused Jupiter to smile a bit. Soon the group had split into two groups and were now on their way to meet their wold be attackers. With the security teams splitting up into two groups, Morrison had gone with teamed up with Sailor Moon and her Senshi while McKenzie remained with Princess Kakyuu, Starlights and Nyanko. It may have been risky to split up, but if they were able to engage the twins separately, then they would not be able to help each other. Divide and conquer.
Within a few minutes Sailor Moon and her group arrived at their destination, hanger bay one. This was just one of the two flight decks which the Daedalus used to launch its compliment of fighters, but now a deadly senshi was using it to hide. The area itself had been evacuated when the alert first went out, only a few 302s and equipment remained in the crew's place.
"Sooo... how we doin' this?" Morrison asked the group of senshi, as she held up his SAW and scanned the open area.
"I guess we have to lure her out." Moon replied, before she walked out into the center of the hanger and called out... "We know you're here! Show yourself, so we can talk! We don't want to hurt you!"
No sooner had the senshi finished her sentence, a ball of energy shot out from the darkness and struck the area the young woman stood. It was only her unatural speed which may have saved her life, as she was able to dodge the unprovoked attack.
"Your first mistake, was thinking I want to talk." a new voice echoed through out the metallic room, before another ball of energy suddenly appeared and shot towards the senshi and the security teams. Diving for cover, the Sailor Senshi were quick to recover and got ready for the next attack, while Morrison and the rest of the Security team took cover where ever they could.
"Come out!" Sailor Mars called out. "We don't have to fight!"
"But I want to fight!" The voice replied in an almost child like manner. "You have been causing my master some trouble it seems. You eliminated two of her top senshi and she believes you can now be a threat to her, you and your Tau'ri friends."
"What?"
"The mighty Tau'ri!" the voice shrieked, "The ones who make gods tremble in fear and the savior of many civilizations! When our master destorys you, the galaxy will have lost their heroes and will have no choice but to bow down to Galaxia!"
"There will always be persons willing to stand up to Galaxia." Moon replied. "There will always be people, men and women, who will be willing to protect the ones they care about!"
"And by doing so, they will only cause more pain and suffering!" Mnemosyne shot back, as she launched another ball of energy at the senshi, with explosive results. But this time she was sloppy and revealed her position to the Americans, which allowed the men to zero in and fire their weapons at her location. But the evil senshi was quick to recover from her mistake, and was able to dive out of the way before she vanished once again
It was at this point Mercury brought out her computer and activated her visor. She began to scan the hanger bay for any irregularities or anomalies which the two teams could take advantage of. It was not long before the blue haired senshi began to notice that there would be momentary energy spike in certain areas before an attack. She then ran over to Morrison and said, "I think I know how we can get her. When I tell you to fire, aim your weapons and fire!"
"Understood." the Airman replied, as he knew better than anyone that it was an wise idea to listen when a senshi gave advice.
"But how does hurting innocent people and destroying lives stop it?" Sailor Mars shot back. Her eyes scanning the hanger, as both her and Jupiter walked passed a parked 302.
"I doubt ANY of you would understand!" Mnemosyne roared back, just as another energy ball shot towards the two women. But they were quick to evade the attack and said ball ended up striking the space fighter, with predictable results.
But no sooner had the evil senshi launched her attack, her actions were rewarded with a burst of automatic gun fire. Compliments of Morrison and his machine gun. But Mnemosyne was quick and was not only able to dodge the airman's attack, but sent another attack towards her would be assailant. But in her attempt to strike down the Tau'ri, there were several loud explosions and the woman suddenly felt a burning sensation in her abdomen. In her rage, Mnemosyne had forgotten that there were other Tau'ri there with her and now one of them had managed to strike her down.
The pink haired woman fell to the ground with a loud thud, a pool of blood forming around her body as she laid on the metalic surface motionless. A somber feeling soon fell upon Sailor Moon and her friends, as the realiztion of what they had just witnessed soon took effect.
"They..." Moon tried to speak, but was unable to.
"Is she alright?" Morrison asked Mercury, as he had recovered from the blast and saw the strange look on the Senshi's face.
"She has never been comfortable with the idea of killing." the blue haired senshi replied, as she worried for her friend.
"Usagi.." Mars spoke up.
"They had no choice..." Moon finally said, as she and everyone there circled the motionless body of Sailor Mnemosyne. A small tear escaping one of her blue eyes and rolling down her cheek. "Why would she stop?"
"I... Don't know." Mars replied, as she too was not sure why the now dead senshi did not relent and as a result, the Security team was forced to do what they did.
But before anyone else knew what else to do, the Daedalus suddenly rocked violently. Knocking everyone off their feet and onto the ground, just as a voice over the PA system yelled out...
" HULL BREACH! DECK 4!"
