{ Operation Endgame pt. 3 }
(Somewhere beyond the Sol system...)
The request had come from one of their closest, yet unlikely of allies...
In the past, this group of humans had saved their race from an enemy that almost drove them to extinction. Despite being rather "primitive" and young on the galactic scale, these humans from Earth had shown great honor and courage in protecting both their people and anyone else who asked for help. The Tau'ri had always been willing to help anyone in the galaxy and had bravely fought against an enemy that had attempted to subjugate the Milky Way Galaxy and all its inhabitants. An enemy that the Tau'ri ultimately defeated.
But now the Tau'ri were faced with a new threat that apparently had them worried. So much so that a message was sent through the Stargate asking for assistance. Obviously they agreed to do so and did not hesitate to send 3 of their most powerful vessels to aid their ally in their time of need. It was the least they could do, considering their history. But what was really troubling was the supposed identity of this would be threat.
In their history, there was a legend of an individual who left their people to protect the Universe thousands of years ago. An individual who fought against an great evil that existed which threatened life as they knew it. But ultimately fell into darkness herself after she supposedly defeated an entity known as Chaos. But these were just legends from a bye gone era, surely this could not be the same young woman that was once the Milky Way's greatest champion. Could it?
What ever the case, the Tau'ri were not known to make things up and from what data they had sent, it looked as if this ancient legend was true. If this were the case, then the Tau'ri would need all the help they can can get. They just hoped that it would be enough against Galaxia...

( Meanwhile, back on "Earth")
An overwhelming sense of disbelief and despair fell upon the Princess, as before he was the apparent grave of her most beloved. Mamoru... her Mamo-chan, had been killed by Galaxia and from the looks of things, he had been dead for a while. No wonder he never called her or sent her a letter, he was dead all this time. Another victim of this evil senshi's madness. For a moment Usagi wanted to be happy, Mamoru had not forgotten her as she once feared. But the reality of the situation soon caught up with her and her mood sunk.
Mamoru was dead... he was killed... no, murdered by Galaxia and now, his grave was not apart of this garden of the dead and white head stones.
"Sailor... Moon...?" Fireball asked fearfully, as she could see the the distressed yet somber expression on her friend's face. "Usagi...?"
"He's dead..." Princess Serenity said in a soft, emotionless voice. Tears rolling down her cheeks, as she slowly stood up from her position. Her left hand resting on Mamoru's headstone, as she turned to face Kakyuu. "He's dead... Galaxia killed him... he never even made it to America."
"Are you..." Kakyuu asked frightfully, not sure as to what to expect from her friend. Obviously this individual in the grave was very important to her friend and seeing it here now was having a grave effect on her.
"We have to stop her... here and right now." Serenity suddenly announced. Her voice still emotionless, matching the expression on her face. The tears were gone, but Kakyuu knew that there were something still not quite right about her friend. Kakyuu knew her friend was in pain, but she was now trying to hide her sadness with another emotion. Anger.
What was even more disturbing, was that Kakyuu knew just what her friend was going through. It was not too long ago Kakyuu lost someone she thought she would spend the rest of her life with. She would never forget his last words, before he was killed. He was a knight within her planet's military and like many others, he fought bravely against Galaxia and her minions. But his fight came to a tragic end when a section of palace wall he was standing under, came crashing down on top of him and his men. In one swift yet violent moment, she had lost the love of her life and what ever future the royal had hoped to come, now laid dead and buried in the ruins of her home.
Kakyuu wanted to die right there and then but her senshi, her friends, reminded her that her love would want her to continue on and fight for her people. Though the pain was still there, it was a constant reminder that she could not give up.
Kakyuu was about to talk to her friend, when suddenly there was a blinding bright light which filled the entire area, forcing the two women to shield their eyes. They did know just how long the light lasted, but when it finally vanished, the two women now found themselves standing in an open, grassy field.
All the grave markers were gone, including Mamoru's. Now there was nothing but grassy fields upon rolling hills under a now blue sky. Gone were the "planets and stars" that had first greeted them in the begining, now it were as if they were on another world. As far as they knew, they already were.
The air was thick with the sent of freshly cut grass and moist earth, as a gentle breeze blew through the air. The only sound which could be heard at that moment were the occasional gust that caused the knee high grass to dance in the wind. If the circumstances were different, the sight would have been a welcomed one. But all it did was confuse the two women even more.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" A voice suddenly spoke, catching the two senshi off guard but gaining their attention at the same time. Both women scanned the area to see where the voice was coming from, only to discover that they were all alone.
"This is what my world once looked like, many millennia ago... Back when I was human."
Suddenly, a young humanoid male came running pass the two women. He did not seem to notice the two senshi standing there, he just continued to run happily. Moments later, three small children appeared and looked as if they were chasing the first man from earlier. They too seemed to be in a joyful mood, as they caught up with their would be target and tackled him to the ground. The quartet laughing happily, as a woman soon came up and helped the man to his feet.
"I had a life once... on my world. I was a simple creature with simple desires. I had a wife, who bore me two sons and a daughter. In return, I always made sure I provided for them. It was not an easily life, but it was one I once enjoyed."
The sky suddenly began to change, as storm could began to blanket the sky and block out the sun's rays. The air suddenly became cold and darkness fell across the land, as the family huddled together and looked fearfully on at what was happening. Suddenly, there was a strange metallic sound that came from the darkness and filled the air, filling the family with even more fear.
"They came in the millions... the destroyed everything and everyone I cared about." the voice stated, as thousands of metallic spider like creatures appeared over a hill and destroyed everything before them.
Serenity and Kakyuu could only look on in shock an disbelief, as the family took off running as fast as they could and towards what looked like some sort of vehicle. But no matter how fast they ran, these "creatures" quickly closed the gap between them and the now doomed family.
"I should have died there... I should have died with my family... but I didn't. I heard everything... I heard my wife screaming for me. I heard my children screaming in pain, I heard everything those things did to our bodies when they finally caught us. But I will never forget what I saw next..."
What the two princesses saw next would forever haunt them. The scene had now changed, the rolling hills were now bare of life and the blue sky was now replaced dark and foreboding clouds. The wind howled and moaned as it blew across the dead landscape, as the ominous sound of thunder could be heard in the distance. But what really disturbed the two women, were the five bodies which now laid before them.
"I should have died... but I didn't."
Suddenly, a dark mass emerged from where the bodies rested and began to ascend into the dark sky. "I did not know what had happened to me or how it even happened... but the the life I had worked so hard for was gone and I was alone. Or at least I thought I was..."
Soon, the two women began to hear voices coming from the darkness. At first it started off as a whisper, but it gradually became louder and louder... Screams, mournful wails and horrific cries filled the air. It sounded as if billions were calling out from the darkness, but their source still reamained unseen.
"I could hear them... trillions of them. Thoes who had been wronged in life, much like myself." the voice continued. "They had all died in pain and miserry... robbed of a life they tried to live. But the universe had treated them unfairly... treated ME, unfairly. It was not fair! But we are expected to accept it as it is?"
It was at thst moment that the ghostly image of the "dead" humanoid began to change. His body began to bend in unnatural ways, as he floated through space. "If the Universe could not give justice to those it had wronged in the pass... then it did not deserve to exist..."
It was at that point the humanoid had change completely and in his place, was an being that for a very long time, Kakyuu thought was only a legend. A creature that for a long time, many thought had been destroyed. The humanoid that had been killed with his family was now long gone and in it's place...
"Chaos..." Kakyuu gasped out frightfully... as both herself and Serenity found themselves looking at the creature that had destroyed countless billions.
"The universe is flawed!" the demonic entity pulsated as it spoke. "The universe is guilty of destroying lives and causing needless suffering! It deserves to be destroyed, so I can create a new world where such needless malice would not exist!"
"But... but... you're supposed to be dead!" Kakyuu shouted back, "You were destroyed-"
"By the Galaxy's greatest warrior?" Chaos finished her sentence, a hint of amusement could be heard in his deep voice. "She did, but not completely..."
Then... the demonic mass cleared away to reveal a figure laying motionless on a crystal altar. Reddish blond hair flowed freely from the top of her head and touched the ground, as she held on to healthy looking sword which rested upon her gold clad body.
"Galaxia...?" Serenity gasped out in shock, as her eyes fixed on the motionless senshi. "How..."
"She tried to seal me away in her body after our faithful encounter... foolish little girl. She was so easy to corrupt and she let me do it." Chaos explained, sounding as he was proud of his accomplishment. "Once I entered her mind and learned of her tragic past, it was easy to use her to complete my mission."
"To destroy the universe and everyone within it?' Kakyuu asked Chaos, sounding less that convinced that the creature's motives justified its actions. "You have become the very thing you accuse the universe of being."
"But in the new world I create, I will be its master." Chaos replied. "In my new world, there will be no death, there will be no strife, no suffering."
"And no free will, no freedom." Kakyuu shot back. "The histry of my people and that of this world, is filled with individuals like yourself! You say that you are doing what you do for the benefit of the people, but in the end you have become nothing but a selfish being who could care less about the suffering they are causing."
"This is not right!" Serenity shot forth, "Do you think what you are doing is fair to the families you have destroyed? The lives you have taken? The Universe may have its faults, but-"
"SILENCE!" Chaos roared, as "he" sent a wave of energy that sent both senshi flying into the dark void.
"How dare you talk to me about morality! I have encountered Senshi before on many worlds, and they are no diffirent. I have seen them destroy entire cities while 'Saving' their worlds. They too are responsible for the deaths of many, yet are seen as heroes! In the new world... I will be their hero!" Chaos exclaimed, as his mass began to expand and her got bigger and bigger.

As this was all going on, the combined Senshi and USAF force watched the energy shield shimmer and dance. As the alien devices continued to contain Galaxia ( or what ever it was now under it ), both the Senshi and the USAF maintained their positions and monitored the devices. The senshi, both Usagi's and Kakyuu's, stood anxiously near a camp site which had been set up by the Americans.
Around them, the two groups could see military personnel going about their duties and setting up weapons emplacements around the shield. In the air, both the Prometheus and Daedalus hovered near their position. While F-302s circled around them. It was an impressive show of force, to say the very least. Even the Star Lights had to admit that seeing this display before them, made them feel a little bit better. The Tau'ri had proven to be the most capable and cunning of allies, even if their methods were rather... creative.
As for the senshi of Sol, their thoughts were with their friend within the shield. These last few days had been a roller coaster of emotions and surpise, now culminating with them teaming up with the American military to stop the destruction of not only earth, but the entire universe. But what really stood out from these recent events, was the fact that the United States and other nations were well aware of the dangers that laid beyond the solar system and were actively defending the planet well before any of them discovered they were senshi.
But while everyone was either lost in their own thoughts or busy carrying out their duties, they were completely unaware that a young child with bright pink hair had infiltrated the camp. Her eyes wide with wonder as she darted from hiding place to hiding place, making sure that she would not be spotted by anyone. Even since the SGC had made itself known to the senshi, Chibi Chibi had to use her powers to cloud the minds of both the Senshi and the Americans. As she did not know if this SGC could be trusted or even if the Senshi would betray her existence to these Americans. She did just floated out of the sky after all.
But after watching their actions over the last few days, the young "child" had to admit that this SGC were most honorable and brave. They had gone out of their way to help the senshi of both this world and the Starlights, and had even brought a former foe under their wing after Sailor Moon was able to save her. But now it was time to continue with her mission.
She was sent out into space many years ago when her "mother" realized that the evil she thought she had contained, was actually taking over her body. Chibi Chibi knew that with Chaos not contained, not would be her chance to rescue the person who brought her into the world. But as she made her way closer and closer to the force field, alarms began to go off, as the ground crew ran to their assigned stations.
"What's going on? Mars asked frantically, as she saw the shield buckle.
"It's failing!" Carter replied, as she furiously typed away at her keyboard.
"What ever is inside, is beginning to expand!" Sailor Mercury explained, as she used her visor to scan the shield generators.
"Can't you increase the power output from the generators?" Star Maker suggested, as she and the rest of the Starlight prepared themselves for what was to come.
"It's expanding to fast!" Carter replied, "The generators are at maximum! They cant keep it up!"
At that moment, it looked as if all their planning was going to be for naught and Galaxia was about to break free from her prison. But as everyone there prepared themselves for battle, the sky above suddenly became dark.
Dark clouds had suddenly appeared above the site and blocked out the sun as a result, as what sounded like thunder echoed through the cold air. But as rhe sound got louder, it became very clear that something else was happening. What happened next, shocked everyone.
Three massive alien ship, all of which were of the same advanced design, broke through the cloud cover and hovered just above the failing shield generators.
The Asgard had arrived...
