Yes, jasper and Alice have already met! He is in her class at school! didn't you pick that up in the first chapter?! She thinks Jasper is too enclosed in his own ego and stuck up because all the girls fancy him and he's in a band :P

They have known each other for a while, hence being in each others class, but Jasper is really just noticing her now, and he likes her a lot!
