Jean, eager to redeem herself from her near failure, volunteered to go first. She was wearing a tasteful tiger-print bikini, showing off her flawless figure. Her gorgeous red hair was up in a braided ponytail, and she had a set of black sunglasses pushed up in her hair.
Roberto was sitting next to the stereo. With a nod from Jean, he pressed play. She strode down the aisle, swinging her hips as 'Burnin' Up' by the Jonas Brothers played. There were a few short whistles, followed by several resounding slaps from the boys' girlfriends. Jean stopped at the end of the makeshift runway, sliding her sunglasses down over her eyes. She stuck her left hip out, blowing a kiss towards the football team before strutting back down the runway.
Rogue was up next. Since no one was actually going to touch her, she felt safe enough not to wear a completely skin-covering outfit. She had a one-piece tie-dye suit with the sides cut out of it. She also had on a pair of red flip-flops, courtesy of Tabitha. In her hands she held a beach ball. She swaggered down the runway to the tune of 'Don't Cha' by Pussycat Dolls. When she got to the end, she tossed the beach ball up, serving it into the crowd. She spun around, jogging back.
As Roberto played 'Kiss the Girl' from the Little Mermaid soundtrack, Rahne came out. Timidly, she walked down the runway in a black-and-white checkered bikini. She spun around at the end and almost ran backstage.
'Do You Believe in Magic' by Aly&Aj could be heard next as Kitty strode down the catwalk in her green bikini. She had her hair in two bouncing ponytails, though she had added blond highlights. She blew a kiss to the X-guys, sitting in the middle of the auditorium. Then she skipped backstage.
Wanda stepped onstage. She had a red bikini top and a black sarong on, showing off her flat stomach. Everyone was staring at her.
"Hit it," she growled irritably at Roberto. He hit the play button, and the song 'One-Girl Revolution' by Superchick started playing. Wanda strode down the runway, ignoring all the eyes on her. At the far end of it, she untied the sarong and threw it to her brother, Pietro. The bottom half of her bikini was red, like the top. Wanda turned, throwing a smirk over one shoulder, and walked back down the catwalk.
Amara was the last one, but when Roberto started playing her music, she didn't come out. There was something going on backstage.
"I can't go out there in this!" Amara said, staring down at her purple bikini. She grabbed her purple bathing suit cover-up, slipping it over her head.
"Come on Amara!" Jean urged, trying to take the cover-up off her friend. "Everyone's waiting!"
"I can't have that many people staring at me!" Amara complained. "I can't do this. I forfeit!" She ran out the exit.
Principal Kelly walked onstage, sighing, to give the contest results.
