Kiss
It was Valkyrie's 18th birthday party and she was having the time of
her life.
She was on the dance floor when she noticed him sat in a corner.
Perfect.
She idled towards him and sat down on the seat next to his. He looked
at her and she felt butterflies in her stomach because of what she was
about to do.
"Listen. I've been holding this in for quite a while, and seen as I've
come of age, I need to tell you."
"What is it? Is there something wrong?"
"No, erm, there's not really any other way to put this. I love you."
"Really?"
"From the deepest depths of my heart."
A smile appeared on his face and he looked happier than Valkyrie had
ever seen him.
"I love you too." was all he said.
And then he kissed her.
