Chapter 1
I lay awake wondering how it feels to sleep and dream of stuff coming true. Also how humans can lay still and actually sleep gosh it makes me so mad cause when I was born I was born with a disease that I could have died from. But luckily my doctor, doctor kai changed me into this soulless creature that I am.
I can't say that I don't appreciate the fact that she didn't let me die. I have lived for 100 years and I have not yet slept all, I have done was fill journal after journal. I finally decide to get dressed and ready for our daily feeding. I walk down stairs to the living room. "GOOD MORNING KELSEY!" Chey screams at me "GOSH DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO FREAKIN LOUD!" "Yes and I do it just for you" Chey says "YOU FREAKING BUTTHOLE CAN YOU EVER SHUT THAT BIG FREAKIN MOUTH OF YOURS. JEEZ!" I walk over and sit by my big brother Chris he is awesome; he always knows how to make me happy.
"What's wrong lil sis?" Chris asks softly "Nothing…." I answer "Is it the wishing of being able to sleep?" Chris asks "*sighs* yea I just wish for once in my 100 years of living I want to sleep." I answer "Listen I know that you are probably mad at me for being and butt but I just want you to know that I am here for you and I always will be." Chey says softly.
"Yea I know that you will always be here for me but it's not your fault I want to sleep for once in my life." "Well who's ready for something to drink this lovely morning?" Ashton cuts in. "That sounds like fun I answer." "Yea I am starving let's eat" Chris says. So we all ran out the house and to the border and to the middle of the country we see some little deer but they are satisfying so we move on to drink the blood of the mountain lions and they are most definitely the most satisfying animal besides a bear.
I was the first one to get one it tasted like a warm wine on the tip of my tongue. Next not even a yard away Chris catches his and since he is older than me it took him less time to drain his than it did for me to drain mine. "CHRIS!" I scream he runs over to me "what is the matter lil sis?" "You wanna know what the problem is; the problem is that you can still drain yours faster than me."
"I also have more experience than you do." Next thing that happened was that another vampire comes into the clearing and kills the mountain lion that he had been chasing all the way here there is no telling where he came from or how long it took him to kill that mountain lion. For all we knew he could have been chasing that lion all the way around the state. I think the boy is pretty cute I think inside my head I hope that Chris does not find out because he is liable to kill the dude if he even steps a few feet near me.
"Stupid over protectiveness" "what are you talking about lil sis?" Chris asks me oops did I say that out loud I thought for a min then he finally cleared his throat and demanded an answer "it's nothing bubby" I answer softly "well it has to be something otherwise you wouldn't of said it…is it the fact that you like the little boy over there and you are worried that I will kill the dude without a reason of why I decided to kill him."
"No I don't like him I don't know what you are talking about" I could feel my cheeks start to blush. "Kelsey I know that you think that little boy over there is cute and you want to meet him and know his name and everything…I know you too well." Wow does he know me that well? I think inside my head that sounds smart I mean he is my brother and I cannot change that so …. I don't know what to do now umm maybe I should make an excuse of why I do not like this boy even though I really do think that boy does look cute.
