A/N: This is for those who read my stuff. This is to reassure you that I am alive, but haven't gotten around to finishing Chapter 4 of Love of Darkness until tonight. Again, I'm sorry that I haven't kept a regular schedule in updating and now I will begin something new.
Valtiel followed Heather as he was commanded to do. He was the one that would ensure the birth of the Holy One. The birth of God. He watched as the woman fought the monsters to advance, watching her hit and get hit. There were times where she looked down for the count, but he would be surprised to see how Heather kept getting up. She reminded Valtiel of one monster that was created to judge.
The Red Pyramid was a feared thing in the Otherworld and the Fog world. His determination to kill couldn't be matched. Once he was given his order, he wouldn't falter until he finished. That was one good attribute about him, though he was easily distracted. Mannequins were his weak spot. The Order gave the Red Pyramid the benefit of the doubt, trusting the judgment he passed. Then that man James Sunderland came and killed the Red Pyramid because he felt he didn't need the monster's judgment. But what James should have thought of was the people of Silent Hill needed judgment. James was nothing but a selfish bastard.
With the Red Pyramid gone and the Butcher before him, that left Valtiel, though he wasn't as strong as the two before him. So The Order gave him the duty to ensure the birth of a new, more powerful God that will create new leaders for Silent Hill.
Valtiel learned one thing from the Red Pyramid: that determination can give you power, yet if you live by it, it will end up killing you.
Valtiel hoped that he wouldn't end up like Pyramid Head.
