CeCe's PoV
I can't wait to see Deuce!
I have to tell him how I feel!
'Beep-Beep-Beep-Beep-Beep-Beep'my phone went.
It was a text from Deuce.
Deuce: Hey, meet me in the park at 5, ok?
A while later I arrived, after asking Ty to give me a ride in his new car.
It was a little awkward so we just ate in silence. After I finished eating, I decided to break the ice.
"Say, Deuce I have to tell you something…" I started nervously.
He replied with an obviously nervous, "Oh, me too." There was a dramatic silence and we both broke it by saying, "I like you!"
I couldn't believe my ears!
I cant wait to tell Rocky!
I was actually going to text her, but I didn't want to interrupt her date with Gunther.
Then it dawned on me. What does he mean likeme? "So, you like, like me or you like me as a friend." I said hopefully, preparing to feel humiliated.
Deuce smiled sweetly and replied, "Yeah, I like, like you."
Before I knew what was happening, Deuce pulled me toward him and gave me a soft short kiss.
Deuce's PoV
I cant believe she liked me! I've been dying to ask her out, for forever!
I felt like I was in heaven, kissing her!
I was so relieved she liked me back! She even said it first, sorta…
We walked around for a while, hand in hand, eventually ending up at my place.
She stayed for a while, talking to me on my porch.
A few minutes later, CeCe said, "Well, I should get going."
She stood up getting ready to leave. I stood up abruptly, startling her.
"Sorry," I apologized for surprising her, "Um, you wanna go out tomorrow? Ya know, on a date…
"Uh, yeah, sure, ok!" She said nervously, still startled.
I was psyched, "Good, I wouldn't have taken no as an answer." I said smiling.
She laughed and I kissed her forehead.
"Well, I gotta go." she said smiling. "See you tomorrow, then?"
"Yeah, see you later!" I shouted, waving, as she walked off.
I watched her till all I could see was an empty dark spot.
