Kagome shivered, clutching her soft, and warm blanket closer. The power just had to go out on the coldest day of winter. Quickly realizing she needed something warmer before she froze, the young miko looked about her room finding some books, a computer and…Hiei? What in gods would he be doing here, at this time of night? Kagome coughed quietly gaining the hybrids attention from the book he had been looking at.
"D-did you need s-something?" She asked, her teeth chattering lightly.
"Hn." He took a quick glance over her shivering form and strode over, gathering her in his warm arms. He would never admit to coming over when he had felt her distress through their bond.
"Hiei?" She looked up at him with lowered lashes. "Are you able to warm up anything?" He tilted his head sending a silent question at her.
She nibbled on her bottom lip, "Because I could really use a cup a hot chocolate."
