A new take on what happened when Din returned to Mandalore to bathe in the Living Waters of the mines. Things don't go as smoothly as they do in the show and Bo-Katan has to make a difficult choice in order to save his life. Spoilerish for S3E2 "The Mines of Mandalore". Featuring a fair amount of Din whump, a bit of angst, and just a touch of father/son fluff for good measure.

When collecting a standard bounty Mando finds himself unexpectedly the owner of a slave. Searching for a way to free her, he finds himself irrevocably drawn into her life, and she into his. Now he must answer a question for himself: given the chance will he set her free or claim her as his forever? *Special appearances by Baby Yoda for extra cuteness galore! I know I'm great :P

Will she help Mando get the kid back to his own kind or just get in the way? Slow burn, explicit language, enemies to friends to more, violence, eventual sex

'The entrance hatch fell audibly shut behind him, and that was cue for Din's strength to give out on him completely. He sank to the floor with a whimper in pain. The hand he had pressed against the wound to his side as he had struggled back to the Crest, came back worryingly bloody.' Din is injured during a mission. Please R and R.

This is a very silly follow-up drabble to the latest episode (S3, E4, Ch.20) of The Mandalorian and in no way should be taken seriously.

Sometimes everyone's not at their best all at the same time...but that doesn't mean they still won't look out for each other. (A mindless friendship/hurt/comfort one-shot.)
