Living is difficult, having so many responsibilities, so many suffering, so much pain to endure, Why? Why do we have to feel everything? Why do we have to go through this much of a challenge? Why did we work so hard for something that doesn't benefit us but someone else? Why were we born in this world? Someone says that our difference between animals is an ability to express itself but without that, we are only animals that are worse than animals. Why? Expressing yourself have different meaning is to manipulate or to know other feelings. The heart of humans is an empty and complete darkness and loneliness, that's why we're once called demons. We are reasonable beings because, We don't do action without its purpose whether it's consciously or unconsciously. We lived because we served purpose to this world, good or bad? Evil or good? That's only words and We Are the personification of those words.
Hikigaya Hachiman, born on August 8th 2XXX and 17 years of suffering.
Why suffering? You ask? Simple, it's because I am just an average guy with a dramatic past.
Fuck why do I keep remembering those days? Cursing you said? Hahahah I am not the one you used to know, Everything will change but nothing will perish, except for my ability to love.
Love? What love? This world means power, power means status, status means money, money means love, I am so naive for thinking that this world will give me GENUINE when I am nothing, Worthless, Piece of trash. That's why I chose to be something I hated for my own benefit because, when you are A MAN you will only be acknowledged by the world around you when you have Money, Status, Power And Courage this is the only thing you can build in yourself because when you have this without having Courage to be the fundamental pillar of your accomplishment will fall.
I am now in Third-year in Sobu High School, a prestigious school and after the hard work I do in my studies I attain the title of Top Honour student that don't belong in the International class of Rich families but I don't care. At first the student body doesn't believe that I manage to beat all Top-student and they believe I have someone mafia in my back blackmailing the school's principal but after some periodic tests and presentations they all acknowledge me. Ridiculous thinking something like that but can't blame them even for me I want to beat my old self because of the choices he makes. But past is past after all there's no point beating living in the history of your life, live your life at present and you will be at peace, don't listen to people who are not in the position you want to be in your life and you will live a life that no one can exchange.
"Hikigaya-san" Some girl called me pulling me out of my reminiscence, this is annoying
"What can I help you with?" I replied masking my annoyance towards the anonymous girl
"Uhmm..uhmmm.. please can we meet after break!" She screamed at me, fuck this is library for fuck sake lower your voice or we will gonna kick out of here
"Why? If there something you need from me, you better to say it now because, I am busy person you see" I said while looking to the girl, I notice that she have black hair and a cute physique that everyman that should protect except for me
"Uhmm..uhmm..It's …it's… Can we please go out!" She exclaimed, hahh another day of pain in the ass that's why I hate being stand out of fhe crowd
"Sorry but I solely focus on my study so I have no time for relationships right now. I hope you can understand the burden of being student" I said to her, adding a slight guilt trip to ensure she will not do this again
"O..okay, I understand hikigaya-san" The girl replied that looked like she will cry at any second
"Thank you, but we didn't introduce ourselves. My name Is Hikigaya Hachiman please to meet you Ms.? I introduce myself to change the topic while avoiding me, looking like an asshole after rejecting the her
...Wait, is she smiling? and what's up with that look? Fuck this girl giving me a YANDERE vibe! I must avoid this shit if I want to stay alive!
"Uhmm.. I am Horikita Shizune, Pleased to meet you Hikigaya-san! even though I know you hehe" she replied meekly changing her expression like its nothing
"Hahaha of course, the most hated man in the Sobu no wonder! Hahaha" I said cautiously while giving her a test
"No, no it's not because like that! I know you because you are the Brother of Hikigaya Komachi and as the top-student in the whole school!" She answered, what?
"Wait, what year are you?" I asked the suprise masking my voice
"I am a first year! and a classmate of your sister!" she exclaimed, God now I am paedophile shit I didn't notice, maybe someone is trying to frame me! To ruined again my reputation! Those bastard!
"Well my time is running late, this is my goodbye now Horikita-san pleasure to know you" I said my goodbye, now time to get out of here!
"Well then goodbye! Hikigaya-san" she said after bowing to me
"Yeah" I said while repeating her action as a respect and walking away although I notice her ragged breath like she's run all the way to the fourth floor of the building
'Those girls are really annoying but her she exceptionally scary!'

Well, I hope nothing will bothers me no-
"Well, well, it isn't Hikigaya-kun!" My god I am not finished with my prayers but the demon king appears! Just Cursed my luck
"Hello! Yukinoshita Haruno" I said in cold and serious manner
"Ho ho What is this? A new persona Hikigaya-kun?" She said playfully
"Persona or acting doesn't matter, What do you want Yukinoshita-san" I asked her firmly
"Hmm.. Are you still upset after the Yukino-chan decision?" She said playfully but with seriousness behind those playfulness tone
"Her decision doesn't require my attention, and our past is history of our connection its basically useless" I said
"Pretty harsh aren't you Hikigaya-kun! To someone you love with everything?" She said in serious manner
"Reality is harsh, Yukinoshita-san you should know that more than me." I said before walking away
"Hmm.. Interesting, looks like my intuition are right! She always makes poor decisions whenever she makes them! That's why she suffers every time she does! Hahahaha she choose the rock over a diamond Hahahaha" She said while laughing that you will not expect in a mature woman to act that way although we are now alone in the hallway so I can't blame her
"Hikigaya-kun, I have suggestion for you?" Yukinoshita-san says with a tone of proposing to someone
"What is it? If that suggestion is about your sister then forget it" I said while looking back to her
"No, No, I wanted to find a talented worker for my business and you happened to be exactly what I was looking for!" She said
"Hmm, how much is the salary? What type of work will I do? How many hours? I need information" I confront now straight looking at her
"You will act as assistant manager in my business and It's only depends on schedule that customer wants and for the salary, let's say 1,000$ A month" She states
'God a 1,000$ a month?? and the exchange value of 1 dollar is equivalent to 134.40 yen!
I will basically a millionaire in a year
"Is this legal or illegal?" I asked praying that it's not
"No, it's not we are basically wealthy for that reason" She flex
"I will think of it" I said
"Well you have three days to make a decision, and contact me if you already make the decision, well then see you Hikigaya-kun!" She said while giving her Business card to me
"See you! Yukinoshita-san" I said, while thanking buddha for this opportunity to get rich and this time of annoyance I need in my life! Not for such trivial matters
*Sigh*
Such tiring day but this day have something new opportunity for me to work on
But this opportunity requires thoughts and planning because this will change my life once I accept it
I'll just wait this thoughts until I get home, it's dangerous if I being occupied by my thoughts and have no attention to my environment while riding my bike back home
"I'm Home!" I said after opening the door
"Yeah, Welcome Back!" My little sister said in monotone
"Yeah" I replied in same way

".." Walking towards my room to get a new clothes for me to use on while cleaning my used clothes then walking to the bathroom to wash, because feeling sticky is disgusting. After bathing I walked to the mirror in our bathroom and checked my physique, I have a physique of callisthenics that has a balanced portion Of muscle in every part of my body. It's not like I am bragging but I think puberty hits me hard, the unhealthy hair I have now are healthy, silky pitch black and the face who always have frowned, are now lose all fats and have define shape of the face that every man dream of.
"Hmm..Looks like everything is at ease" I said feeling satisfied of what I see
"Oni-chan? what are you doing in the bathroom!" My little sister asked
"Nothing you have to worry about, so go away!" I said dismissively
"...Mom and father said they will be at home tonight so we can eat dinner together! Are you gonna join us?" My little sister propose
"...Yeah, Now leave." I said completely ending our conversation
"...I am sorry Oni-chan" She weakly replied before walking away
'You're sorry you said? Hahaha' I said to myself while snickering
After a couple of minutes of showering, I left the bathroom with a towel on my waist that showed all my gains. Well no one's looking so I'm free to do what I want to do! Taking a comfortable clothes before going to kitchen and preparing the dishes for tonight's dinner
Taking my Wireless Earphone to listen to some music while preparing the dishes.
'What happens? why our parents, who prioritise their own work than their own children decide to have dinner together? Such a mystery.'
After an hour of preparing dinner, I am finally finished and now I am just appreciating at the masterpiece I made myself while waiting for our parents to come
"Komachi! You can eat now! You don't need to wait for our parents to come home!" I mildly screamed at her because she's in her room by the time I am finish speaking, the time I hear opening of our door and hear someone womanly say "I am home"
"What's the cause of screaming Hachiman?" My father demanded while glaring at me, Hoh such a doting father I see
"Nothing, I'm just worried about my sister health" I answered looking him dead straight in the eye, My father is Tall Man, Wide body, a comb-back hairstyle and dead eye fish that always frowning that suit him as a mafia boss
"Hmph" He said dismissively
"Komachi, come down here! I have present for you" My father said
"Yayy!! Tou-san!!" Komachi said while running in stairs to come down
"My little angel!!" My father said in disgustingly manner
The two of them began to hug each other like they do not have tomorrow to come,
My Mom just stared at them then at me
"Are you not gonna join them?" She asked, My mom appearance are look like a professional woman that have strict aura in her surrounding but disappeared when she are in home, and yes she definitely MILF she is gorgeous despite her AGED
"No Ka-san, I am old enough to embarrass to something like that." I said firmly
"And for added I do not insult you because Of your AGED I just merely surprised that you maintain that gorgeous look of yours after your Golden Age!" I stated saving me from the wrath of Mother
"Hmm, A simple words won't sway me Hachiman but I will let it once although where do you learn to say this? Are you a player perhaps?" She confront while narrowing her eyes on me
"Maybe, Maybe Not" I said to her uninterested about the topic although she want to say something but stop herself

"Let's start to eat, it's bad omen if the food is waiting" My mother said taking out the both my sister and father in their own Imagination
Our dinner is completely at peace, No one talking, No one Gives a fuck but let's comeback to reality. Our dinner is completely full of noise, but thank god the topic is not about me because its only will added to my annoya-
"You hachiman!" My father said taking me to their conversation
Just greatttt!!!
"What?" I said masking my annoyance for the second time of the day
"Do you want a part-time job?" My father said

"What job? How much is the salary? What is the time of shifts??" I asked
My father smiled and simply said
"You will be tutoring the Four Daughters of our Boss in the company. He said he's looking for suitable tutor that will teach her daughter" My father states
"No, I refuse" I quickly reject the suggestion of my father
"Why?" My father while frowning
"I am not simply suitable to handle that much burden!, I am just an average student?" I said
'And Girls? As Much, As I wanted to earn money, I want to avoid drama in my life'
"Hah, But we're having a financial problem paying to your tuition and now Komachi will join you in the prestigious school" My father retorted
"Ryosuke! We talked about that we never let them know that!" My mother exclaimed
"We cannot keep secret forever this to our children, Maria" My father confront
"I know but that's not the reason you need to tell them this! You will only add to their burden!" My mother demand
"We are-" i cut my father speech
"You don't need to worry about me anymore."

They completely caught of guard by my statement, but I continued despite their reactions
"Komachi, If you are finish eating your food you can get the dessert in the refrigerator and go upstairs, Mother, Father and I will talked about something" I ordered her
"...Okay" Komachi stare us before walking to fridge to get her Dessert then going to her room
"Now, You don't need to worry about me anymore Father, Mother But I want you to solely focus on Komachi because She needs your attention and guide to make her decisions right" I demanded to them
'I can't afford her to be someone that I thought the one can help me.'
"What are you planning for Hachiman!" My father confront
"No need for you to worry like that, what I am Planning is only to focus on me and I want to be something I will be proud of and if we stay together without taking the risk will cause the family to fall apart because of the burden. " I replied looking at him in the eyes so that he will know I am not playing and completely serious about what I am talking about
"..." My father just nod at understanding
"Hachiman! You don't need to do this!" My mother exclaimed
"Yeah, I don't need to this but the situation we currently in demands it" I said justifying my answer before
*Sniff* *Sniff* "...Hachi" My mother weakly replied while crying
'Shit this is hard even for me and you only make it worse by crying Mom!' I thought making my eyes felt burn
"Excuse me Father and Mother, I will take a call" I said before getting up and leaving the house for me to have privacy
"Hello, Yukinoshita-san" I said
"Oh, Hikigaya-kun its much faster than I expected! What are your decisions now?" She replied
"I will accept your suggestion although I have a favour!" I said
"And what will it be? My sister's hands? Probably Kyakk!!" She replied
"No, I want you to provide a protection to my family and for my sister" I firmly stated
"Is that all? Hmm, …alright!" She said
"You have my gratitude, so when can I start working?" I asked
"Right now! I will send people who will pick you up!" She stated
"What? Wait! Wait!" I exclaimed completely shock by what she said
"See you! Hikigaya-kun" The last thing I hear before cutting the call
"That woman! Seriously!" I said while small smile grace my lips
"Well better to prepare my things, and said my goodbyes to my family."
