Have you ever heard the sound of someones ribs shattering? The deep, gutteral groan as the air from their body is practically pushed out completely in a hefty gasp?

BPHFT!

A single hook, twisted from a low angle, the knuckles implanting themselves into the stomach. The equivalent force of a small car slamming into a tree at 30 MPH funneled through her body like a shockwave. The wall behind her braced herself from falling over. Saliva and blood drizzled from her lips before a huge glop of blood made its way up her throat, coughing it out with fear ridden on her eyes.

The other effect of ribs being broken? Internal bleeding.

BMMPH!

PHPHT!

A one two combo, A left hook to the cheek, setting up for the right hook straight to the jaw. The right hook sending her straight to the ground. Out cold. Her body twitching as the spasms of pain surged.

"Shit. She's taking less and less punches every day."

The boy standing over her simply shook the blood off his knuckles before unwrapping his hands. Rolling it up as his friend placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Tch, actually pathetic. Imagine if a real villian even looked in her direction."

"I try to tell her man, she should listen to her brother..."

BPHFFH!

"For once."

His foot slammed into her stomach, causing her body to heave as it sprawled over the cold concrete.

"Its like she's trying to make Mom worry. Fucking quirkless shithead. Lets go Kaachan."

He jestered Bakugou to follow him and leave the alleyway.

"We hitting the corner? Those fuckers probably are waiting for us."

The two left, leaving the girl unconscious on the ground. This was everyday, everyday she had been left in this alleyway.

Minutes pass by, a few dry heaves as her eyes opened slowly. Rolling onto her back as the grey sky stared back at her. The cool solid concrete against her bruised back, the smell of iron from the blood clogging her nose. Numbness.

"I... can't move my body..."

She gasped out to no one but herself. Her arms twitching as her fingers tried to move. Everything begun to feel blank, empty.

Everything since that day her diagnosis as quirkless came flooding into her mind. The look her mother gave her, the look the doctor gave her. What filled her mind soon after, that feeling of...

Unrequited love

Unrequited attention from reality itself.

Her brothers quirk being revealed right beside her, a blooming flame that immediately turned green within his palms, surging with light and potential. Flowing between his fingers almost as if it could mold and change shape at a whim.

"A flame quirk, just like your father."

Her tone lightened as she spoke to her son, that warmness from her had clearly awoken the boy even more than his quirk manifesting. He smiled back at her.

"Ill become a hero, the greatest hero ever!"

"Im sure you will, my baby boy.."

She hugged him close , not sparing a glance further at her own daughter who sat idily staring at them. Tears built up on in her eyes. What was a hero with out a quirk... Her dream...

"Y-you have a cool quirk brother..."

She said with a soft smile towards him. To which, he simply asked

"Mom? Whats wrong with Inka?"

Inko Midoriya, their mother, simply brought both of her children into her arms as their doctor documented the results.

Inka Midoriya- Quirkless

Izuku Midoriya - Building Flames.

Anger

Anger at things simply because their different from you.

Jealousy

Pity

Ignorance.

With the birth of the luminescent baby, the first ever human with a meta ability, dubbed "Quirk", ordinary and unordinary eventually switched after generations of quirk users being born. The majority of humans on the planet now all had abilities. Society has changrd to accommodate to this, the creation of Heroes to fight against malicious quirk users, jobs all centered around what your ability could do.

Not having an ability means your place in society was at the bottom. You were most likely incapable of competing with people who possed the ability. Perhaps you weren't subhuman, But life was incredibly taxing on every aspect with out being born with a quirk. Countless examples of quirkless people working hard, just to barely make do working with quirk users, being treated with pity or even looked completely down apon because they were different, and weaker.

And when a pitiful creature attempts to step into the world of lions. The lions do not respect a creature below them.

Inka Midoriyas dream still remained even after her diagnosis , she wanted to be a hero. A hero who could be there and smile as she saved people. Just like the greatest hero of all that she looked up to, Everyone looked up to.

She made sure she was at the top of the class in grades, she worked her body for a long time to attempt to reach great physical strength. It still wouldn't compare to strength inhancer quirks... But everything mattered. She needed to be peak "normal" human

Until.. that day in first year middle school.

A older former villain had attacked their neighborhood, attacking a popular area for kids to hang out. The reason was because the boys were constantly harassing him for his looks, they thought it was fun, going as far to break into his home to wreck his entire home after discovering he was a villain years ago.

His quirk completely devastated the area. Heroes were called but while they were on the way...

Inka attempted to save someone for the first time, her eyes watched as her brother fled, who was among those boys who harassed this old man to this point. The villian stood, eyes long sense lost in rage. A girl attempting to crawl away from him , injured by the initial explosion of his attack, he approached closer and closer..

"What do I do..."

Her eyes quickly gazed at his arms, they were covered in veins thay traveled across his body. A strength enhancing quirk, aslong as she could keep a distance... Maybe stealth?

Dust and smoke from the flames that currently were engulfing a small building nearby was enough she thought. She ran into the cloud of smoke, skidding to the side .

"I just need to grab her and run... I cant take him on..."

He didn't seem to be in his right mind, this was the best case scenario in her mind.

She dashed quickly , her arm reaching out to the girl . She was close, her fingers were in distance..

Looming dread, the feeling of destruction consumed Inka. Bloodlust she couldn't dream of comprehending washed over her

Her fingers simply twitched at empty air, her face had lost all color. The girl was grasped in the hands of the villian. Held up into the air as his eyes , glazed over , stared at Inka.

"H-HELP ME!"

The girl wailed out as she struggled in the villains grasp.

"Green haired runt..."

The scratchy voice had put fear in Inka's mind, trembling as the villains eyes looked down at her . His jands trembling as he held the injured girl up, Trembling with anger and instability.

"All I need to do is make you suffer..."

He chuckled

"You... evil brat.. how could you do that to her, the last image of her.."

Flight or Fight response.

Inka's body moved purely off instinct, the smoke clouded her senses, desperate, fumbling the switch blade she always kept on her person she plunged foward and...

The ink trailed off on the page, the journal that she had in her shirt pocket flipping back to being closed after falling out as she laid there.

"Why..."

She asked to nobody. No one would bother anyway.

"Why what?"

Inkas green eyes slowly looked around, trying to find the source of the voice. Meeting eyes with someone who looked just as worn down as as she was. Messy blonde hair...

". . . Who are you... "

Inka gasped out between her words and painful exhales from her ribs being crushed. The blonde girl simply walked up to her, crouching down as they stared at eachother for a moment.

"Your savior."

She said , pulling out and pouring a can of crushed up medicine into her open mouth. The powder flowing down as Izuka felt her body reinvigorate.

"H-huh.."

It didnt feel painful to breathe anymore, the feeling of pain was mostly subsiding , breathing became easier.

"This medicine pretty much makes your natural healing factor much, MUCH faster."

She said , putting the rest of the powder back in a container and shoving it in her very torn up sweat pant's pocket. Inka sat back up, taking the back of her hand and wiping the blood that stained the bottom of her chin and lips.

"I can feel it mending my bones... Thats amazing, i-is the medicine apart of your quirk?"

She inquired.

"Yea , My own blood holds the components of every drug ive ever consumed. Producing it even better."

She said with a grin.

"You basically just chugged down my dried up blood."

Inka nervously sighed at how weird that sounded, getting off the ground, attempting to straighten her attire out

The blonde however, gazed at two things. Her longhair, and the fact her body looked so.. frail.

"You have really nice hair for someone who gets beaten up everyday."

She leaned up against the wall behind her.

"O-Oh..."

Inka fidgeted as she ran a couple fingers through the dark green strands that hung down to her back.

"It used to be alot shorter.. but."

"Green Haired Runt."

"He confused me with my brother...ive taken my mothers hairstyle since.."*

She thought before replying.

"I wanted to grow it out and take care of it... Its sorta how I pass my time now."

"I see, atleast you have somthing to cope with."

She said with a nod, walking towards Inka with a hand raised.

"My name's Hira. I think we get along well so far."

Inka stared for a moment before retuning the gesture, holding her hand and shaking it.

"Inka... M-my names Inka."

Hira nodded but infact, she already knew after having witnessed what just happened minutes prior.

" Oh I know, your brother, apparently, already called you that."

Inka nodded, rubbing her right arm, bruised all the way down to its wrist.

This had started only recently. Her brothers disdain for her had only grown tremendously after what happened during that first year of middle school.

"Y-Yea... Hes not the biggest fan of me, considering I just released from juvenile detention."

Hira looked a bit taken back by this, this girl was a felon? She could see however, those big green eyes hid an indescribable amalgamation of emotion whenever she spoke.

"S-Shocking isnt it.."

"little bit.. But we actually have more in common than I realized."

Inkas eyes widened a bit as she looked at the blonde.

"Im on the run. Turns out this quirk is certainly a popular one..."

"O-Oh... I can see why too.."

A quirk that could theoretically create an infinite supply of constantly evolving super drugs of every type...sounds like immense trouble for the person who owns it. Inkas mind was busy formulating just how many scenarios shes seen of this exact situation when Hira spoke up.

"Yea , ive had to jump to many areas before this. Ive pretty much lost any identity I had. "

She said with a surprising lack of care in her words. Inka glanced back at her now, studying this girls expression as she spoke.

"Do you still go to school? Even after being locked up for.. how long was it?"

"O-Oh, Yes. 2 Years...I was still given access to the materials luckily so I managed to merge back into a class after I was released."

She explained.

"As you could expect... Im not welcome however. "

Grief did lace those words as she shook a bit where she stood. Specifically holding that arm which she did seem to do often from what Hira had seen so far. With a simple nod, She begun to walk away. Gesturing with her hands for the green eyed girl to follow

"Where??"

"Who knows, Got any money on you?"

The blonde asked as Inka trailed behind out of the alleyway.

Days Later ALDERA JUNIOR HIGH- MUSUFATSU- JAPAN

"The term "Singularity" represents numerous concepts. From what the center of a blackhole is ,"

He held a hand out to the classroom, a phone in his hand.

"Hey, Supportbot."

At the command to his phone, a robot formed infront of the class from a box laid on the ground, Sparking to life immediately.

"How may I support you?"

The teacher smiled and shook his head, the robot taking that as a no and forming back into the box with out hesitation.

"And the concept that humanities own technology will surpass humanity itself. The technological singularity."

Quickly sketching a road map of the concept on the board. Tapping on it to alert the class to look forward.

"Everything stems from zero. Zero is the most powerful concept of all as it literally means a point of nothingness, neither positive or negative. It is above the realm of plausibility and implausibility."

He took his pointer and pointed away from the "everything" line that stemmed form a big , circle zero on the board.

"Singularity is right alongside. The center of a blackhole is a realm beyond even spacetime itself. It is functionally the point of zero and infinity-"

He soon noticed absolutely no one was paying attention...

"You kids... This is actually interesting you know. A nonexistent point in reality essentially holds infinity. This applies to the technological stuff as well. One single ai could create its own ai which will spiral and creates an infinitely super intelligent neuro god. Ehh? Ehh? Pretty cool right??"

Inka scratched her head at the thought of what she was hearing at the corner of her mind, of course, also not really paying much attention as she reviewed her notes about other heroes and their quirks in her "Hero" journel.

She had started writing alot more during her time juvy in general.

"Whatever... You guys ready to pick your schools of choice for graduation? The high school examinations are coming up quicker then you think."

With a hefty , cocky grin, The class "ruler" Katsuki Bakugo put his arms behind his head.

"I WILL be heading to U.A. Thats the school for non losers unlike most the clowns in this class."

Bakugos crownies all simply smirked alongside him. A certain green haired boy scoffed and shrugged off his friend.

"I better not be apart of those clowns you mentioned Kaachan. Ill be going to U.A. too, I might just rob your spot.

"Are ya kidding Izu? Your the biggest clown here."

Bakugo said as they bantered back and forth for a moment before the teacher threw in his own few words.

"Oh, Arent you also signing up for U.A. Inka- Oh wait..."

The class went silent immediately, the eyes were somthing Inka was all too used to.

The piercing glare of not only resentmemt, but disgust. Perhaps a little fear mixed in, Inkas eyes stayed on her journel. Hot sweat tipped her chin before she felt her head suddenly jolt straight into her desk. Her face smashed into the journel as her own brothers eyes stared down at her.

"Noooo way.. Kira wants to go to U.A?? Why in the ever living fuck would you even dream of going to a prestigious hero school with a record..."

Kira...the nickname that was now tied to her.

"A literal fucking murderer... You havent gone around killin have you?"

Bakugo came up and questioned with a smirk as Izuku simply tossed her to a wall as the rest of the class chuckled a bit at Bakugos line.

She may have killed someone , but in their eyes at the moment, she was nothing but a joke, scum at the bottom of a shoe atleast when Bakugo and Izuku were around.
