"We gotten closer and closer to finding the location of the lost city, but it turns out we have been looking in the wrong place all along." Daniel said as he walked inside the room.
"We?" Rodney questioned as he walked into the room with Elisabeth by his side.
"Heya Rodney." Camilla Richard said with a smile on her face.
"You still here?" Rodney said as he crossed his arms.
"yep." Camilla answered whit a smile on her face.
Rodney stared at Camilla for a few more second before he turned to Daniel and said. "So, you said something about you been looking in the wrong place?"
"We thought we had a stargate address, 6 symbol representing space coordinates, the location of the planet the ancients when to after they left Antarctica. Now recently we determined a seventh symbol." Daniel said before he turned towards the white board and drew a symbol on it.
"The point of origin, Earth." Elisbeth said.
Camilla looked towards Elisabeth." That´s not it."
"Then your address must be incorrect." Rodney said as he looked between Camilla and Daniel." What?" He questioned when he sees the look they were given each other.
"Not incorrect," Daniel corrects." incomplete." Daniel said as he turned back to the white board and draws a second symbol in front of the other.
"What are you saying Doctor Jackson?" Elisabeth questioned with a smile on her face
"It´s an eight-symbol address. What we are looking for may be further away then we imagined, but not out of reach."
"Atlantis?" Rodney questioned quitely in disbelief.
"Atlantis." Daniel looks towards Camilla as he said." And we think we can go there."
"That´s great and all, but i still have a doctor to force into a chair." Rodney tells them
"Yeah." Elisabeth agrees, shaking her head." And i have to finish preparing for General O´Neill´s arrival."
"Then what´re you waiting for?" Camilla asked as she sees Rodney still standing there.
"He´s afraid of the dam thing!"
"For heaven sake." Camilla said as she pushed her chair away from the table and stood." Come with me." She said as she walked out of the room with Rodney following her.
"Carson." Camilla sings as she corners him inside the infirmary." There´s no getting out of it." She tells him as she pulled him out of the infirmary by the arm.
"No, I cannot do it." Carson tells her as they walked towards the chair room.
"Yes, you can." Camilla tells him as they entered the room.
"Look, we have been through this. I´m a medical doctor." Carson reminds her.
"Carson." Camilla stopped them right in front of the chair and makes him face her." I know you don´t want to do this, but it is mandatory for everyone who has the ATA gene."
"Then why don´t, you sit in it." Carson questioned.
"You have the ATA gene?" Rodney asked as he turned towards then with a look of disbelieve on his face.
"yeah, she does."
"he´s right." Rodney said as he crossed his arms." Why don´t you sit in it?"
"Because bad things happen." She said.
"How bad can it bee?" Rodney questioned.
"Why don´t you shut the hell up!" Camilla said as she turned towards Rodney." Do your dam job."
"You don´t have to yell." Rodney told her.
"This has survived for thousands of years intact." Camilla said as she turned back to Carson." And it will survive thousand more after you." She pointed her finger at him as she said. "Now shut up, and sit down."
"Urg." Carson groaned as he sat down in the chair. He waited a few second." Again nothing." He said as he stood only to be stopped by Camilla.
"Just try to imagine where we´re in the solar system."
Carson sits back down on the chair, and he closed his eyes in concentration. Rodney focuses on his tablet to read the data coming from the chair. Carson clenches his eyes and said." Wait, i think I´m doing something." He opened his eyes and looked at Camilla." It could be lunch related."
Camilla looked at him in irritation." Shut up, and concentrate."
Carson closed his eyes, and a few seconds go by before the chair lights up, and reclines back. Carson´s eyes open in surprise and he looks around. Rodney catches sight of an ancient device that was being studied light up at the same time. The device rocked off the table it had been on and started to ricochet off the walls, before it flies up the elevator shaft to the surface above.
"What did i do?" Carson questioned as he watches the device leave his sight.
Rodney rushed over to one of the computers that had been set up inside the room.
"I told ya i was the wrong person." Carson said as Elisabeth rushed into the room.
"It doesn´t matter, just do something!" Rodney said as he looked over at him.
"Like what?"
"Move." Camilla said and he scrambled out of the chair in a hurry as Camilla takes his place in the chair.
"Camilla you." Before Elisabeth could tell her off, she had closed her eyes and the chair once again lights up and reclines back, and a few minutes go by before she opens her eyes." It´s done."
Everyone is tense until a young lieutenant, name Ford, comes up behind Daniel, who had stood in the archway to the room as he watched Camilla with worried eyes.
"The major piloting General O´Niell´s helicopter reports that the drone appears to be incapacitated, and that General O´Niell´s helicopter was unharmed and it´s on it´s way." Everyone lets out a sigh of relief." He says that they´re 7 minutes out."
"Thank god." Elisabeth sighed.
"Holy crap." Carson gasped out as he turned back to Camilla." You okay, love?" He questioned as he sees her sitting there with her eyes closed.
"I´m fine."
"The hell you are." Daniel said as he walked into the room." There´s a reason why you don´t sit in the chair."
"Well, it worked." Camilla said.
"I´m telling Jack." Daniel told her as he turned around, and hurried out of the room.
"You´re such a child." She shouted after him.
"You gonna be okay?" Elisabeth questioned.
"Give me five minutes, and i will be good as new." She said with a smile on her face.
"Okay." Elisabeth said before she and the others walked out of the room.
Camilla had been sitting in the chair for a few minutes before she stood." Oh shit." She said as she felt her legs give away from underneath her.
Rodney, Elisabeth, Daniel, and Jack were standing around the table talking when Camilla walked into the room, and Jack turned towards her. You sat down on the chair even after i told you not to go near it?"
"You´re welcome." Camilla told him before she turned towards Daniel and gave him the middle finger.
"Are any of you gonna tell me why I´m here. Because you know i don´t like this place." Jack said as he turned towards Daniel.
"Oh, right. We figured the ancients picked up their entire city and left somewhere between 5 and 10 million years ago."
Jack turned his head towards Camilla as he questioned." In their flying city?"
Camilla nodded her head at the same time Daniel said yes. Jack turned back towards Daniel and he was looking at him like he had finally lost his mind.
"What?" Daniel questioned as he sees the look Jack was given him.
"Flying city?"
"Jack, this is the people that built the stargate, they did everything big." Camilla said.
"Then why did they leave?" Jack questioned as he looked between Camilla and Daniel.
"We know the ancients on earth were suffering from a plague or maybe some of them were trying to start over in a new galaxy." Daniel started to explain, until Camilla cut him off.
"The point is, Jack. We know where they went." Camilla said as she walked over to the white board and pointed her finger at the symboles on it.
"And where is that?" He questioned.
"The Pegasus." Camilla answered before she sees the confused look on his face." It the name of a galaxy in the local group."
"Ahh, good old Pegasus." Jack said like he knew what they were saying.
"After all this time, is there a chance of actually meeting them?" Rodney questioned as he looked between Camilla and Daniel.
"I have been choosing members for this expedition for month´s, doctor. I´m not the one, who needs convincing." Elisabeth said as they all turned towards Jack.
"Well, I´m convinced." He said as he looked towards Daniel and said." Have fun."
"It´s a little more complicated then that." Camilla said as she looked towards Daniel.
Jack groaned as he sees the both of them nodding their heads towards him. "You two do know i don´t understand what you are saying most of the times, but this..." He said nodding his head." Is just annoying the hell out of me."
"We need a Zed-PM to power the gate." Rodney told him.
"A what?"Jack asked in confusion.
"Zed-PM." Camilla whispered across the table." And he´s Canadian."
"I´m sorry." Jack tells Rodney.
"The Zero point module, General. The ancient power source you recovered from the Proclarush Taonas. It´s now powering the outpost defenses." Rodney said as he starts moving his hands as he gets further into his description." I have since determined it derives it´s power from vacuum energy from self-contained region of supspace time."
"That was a waste of a perfectly good explanation." Jack tells him before he turns back around and faces Camilla and Daniel." The answer is no."
"Jack, you know gating to another galaxy requires and enormous amount of energy." Daniel said.
"Yes i do." Jack tells him." Find another way."
"There´s no other way." Camilla told him.
Jack looked around the room before he spoke." You think there are more of these." Jack looked towards Rodney." Zed things, in Atlantis?"
"Yea, and who knows what else we could find. This isn´t just some civilization. We´re talking about the gate builders." Daniel said.
"Not to mention the potential wealth of knowledge and technology, it´s outweighs anything we have come across since we have stepped through the stargate." Elisabeth tells him.
"Well." Jack said." With the amount of energy you need to make this trek, odds are it will be one way."
"Yes, General." Elisabeth agrees." We know, but the benefit to humanity is far greater than any risk General. And it´s a risk everyone of my expedition members is willing to take."
Before anyone can say anything else, Carson appears in the doorway." Doctor Weir, ya need to see this.
"Now what?" Jack questioned as they all followed after Carson into the chair room, and they see the chair is activated. Rodney rushed to one of the computers and looked at the data showing on the screen.
Camilla walks into the room and she heard Elisabeth ask." Who is this?"
"I said don´t touch anything." Jack said.
"I..I just sat down."
"Who is that?" Camilla asked Daniel.
"Major Sheppard, he´s the pilot." Daniel answered.
Camilla looked at the man, and before she realized what she was doing, she was walking towards him, and she knelt down on her knees beside him." Major Sheppard.
Sheppard turned his head, and he sees a red-haird woman with blue-green eyes looking at him. "Think about where we are in the solar system?"
Camilla looked up and she sees a picture of the solar system appeared in bright blue lights, over heir heads." Did i do that?" He questioned as he turned his head towards the woman beside him.
"Yeah, you did." She tells him with a smile on her face." Can we have the Zed-PM, now?" Camilla questioned as she turned her head towards Jack.
"You can go." Jack tells her before he turns and walks out of the room, and the others followed after him.
"What just happned?" Sheppard questioned with a confused look on his face.
"Because of you, we get to go" She tells him.
"Go where?" Sheppard questioned as he gets out of the chair and turned towards her, and he held his hand out for her to take
"Atlantis." Camilla tells him as she takes his hand and she´s pulled to her feet.
"Atlantis?" Sheppard questioned.
"Yeah."
"Atlantis is not real? Is it?" He questioned as he sees the look on her face.
"Atlantis is very real."She told him.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Really?" He asked again.
Camilla smiled at him and said."It´s very real, Major Sheppard."
"John."
"What?"
"My name is John." He told her.
Before Camilla can tell him her name, Daniel walked back inside the room." I need you." He told her before he turnes back around and leaves.
"I should go." Camilla told John.
"Yeah...What?" John questioned as he sees the smile on her face.
"I can´t leave untill you let go of my hand." She told him.
"Oh." John quickly lets go of her hand." Sorry."
"It´s fine." Camilla told him as she start to walk out of the room, but stopped when John asked her to wait, and she turned back towards him.
"What?" She questioned.
"I didn´t get your name?" He tells her.
"Camilla." She said before she turns back around and leaves the room.
"The best-case scenario, we meet ancients who´re willing to help us. But if we don´t." Elisabeth said as she stopped in front of him." General we need him."
"Sorry doc. I need Daniel here." Jack told her as he started to walk towards the elevator.
"I´m talking about major Sheppard." Elisabeth said.
Jack stopped walking and turned towards her and said." Don´t you have like a dozen or so people, who can use the ancient technology ?"
"Yeah. But John Sheppard he does it naturally."
"I´ve checked his record." Jack said.
Elisabeth held up her hand to stop him." I know about the whole supposed black mark in Afghanistan. He was trying to save the lifes of three servicemen."
"Disobeying a direct order." Jack said.
"I have seen your own file General, please." Elisabeth tells him with a smile on her face.
"It´s your expedition, you want him you ask him." Jack told her as he turned and steps into the elevator.
"There is one more thing General." Elisabeth said as Jack turned around to face her.
"Yes."
"I want Camilla."
"Really?" Jack questioned as he steps back out of the elevator." You want Camilla and not Daniel?"
"Yeah."
"Why?" Jack questioned.
"She reads and talk ancient, and i know you saw what happened between her and major Sheppard.
"I will talk to her." Jack told her as he gets back into the elevator." But i wont promise you anything." He said as he closed the doors.
