Well, I have watched Owl House, mostly through clips because my country's Disney + only decided to add the Owl House THIS MONTH! So yeah, I'm rewatching the show and possibly going to write fanfics to help ease the pain, but I couldn't wait to show this one I had in mind since watching this scene.

Also be gentle with me, first time writing an Owl House fanfic.

In front of Luz, the small remnants of Belos' goo mash together, slowly turning into Philip.

"Luz... Luz, I'm- I'm free. Thank goodness you saved me from…" He pauses his speech as he sweats nervously "...from that horrible curse."

Luz does nothing but look at him with a blank expression. Her long hair and dress slowly bounce off and back into the wind.

"Yes, I-I was cursed with a terrible, terrible sickness, by... by dark magic, just like your mentor." He said.

Oh he did not just try and use Eda to convince her. The sky slowly turns dark, signaling the fall of boiling rain. Luz somehow can feel it through her bond. It's King's dad, wanting to punish Belos for everything he's done.

But is a little rain enough for him to pay?

"It forced me to do all those horrible things, but now, I'm free." He talked, as if he could convince her.

A drop of boiling rain falls and he screams in pain, the part that the rain touched on his hand becoming green. Boiling rain starts to fall from the sky.

"AH!" He screams in pain at the rain touching his skin. He slowly crawls towards Luz, his face begging for help. "Quickly, now! Don't you want to make peace, Luz?"

He slowly reverts back to his goo form due to the boiling rain. Luz's expression remains unfazed, the rain turning to sparkles on her hair as the boiling rain does not affect her, most either due to her connection to the Titan or her magic is subconsciously covering her. She was curious about it, but didn't have the luxury to divert her attention.

"Don't just stand there!" He says, half his face already turning back into goo. Soon his body decomposes as he is fully back to goo form and starts to crawl back to Luz, half of his body fully gone. "You'll be just as bad, just as conniving, just as evil, and just as unforgivable as those witches!"

So in the end, he still thinks everyone but him is evil. Guess King's dad was right. He really does think himself as a hero in his delusion.

Philip, or in this case now, Belos, holds Luz's leg in an attempt to convince her. "We're human. We're better than this!" He shouts at her.

Honestly, he was so weak, she didn't even need magic to finish him off. The rain would be more than enough to finish him off, but… why does she feel like it isn't enough?

"...You're right." She finally spoke. "I am only human." She reached her arm out.

Belos formed what was the equivalent of a deformed smile, thinking she was going to grab his arm, when in fact she grabbed his head.

"...which means even I can be a little selfish." She said. Using her other hand, she began conjuring a glyph he was not familiar with. "And I know the perfect fate for you."

Before he could ponder what she meant, he was engulfed in a black orb.

"Huh?" Belos looked around. He was now in some sort of forest, one that looked ancient. He looked at himself, seeing he was in human form again. "Did that stupid girl actually help me!?"

He laughed at the naive attitude of Luz. But there was something bugging him about his attire. "Aren't these clothes-"

"Caleb!"

Belos looked behind him and saw… Philip!? Before he could properly deduce what was going on, he felt pain coming from his stomach. Looking down, he saw a knife was stuck in his stomach, a red spot beginning to form

"What is-"

Before he could continue, he was pushed down to the floor and repeatedly stabbed. He screamed out in pain until he died.

Belos gasped again.

He looked around.

This time, he was in a cave. But wait, he remembered this cave! This was where he created the Grimwalkers!

He was snapped out of his thoughts as he saw he wasn't alone. He was once again greeted with the sight of himself, this time, looking more Emperor Belos than Philip. "Tch. Another failure. At least this time I managed to create a conscious one, though I doubt he will stay that way for long" He said, as if not noticing him.

"Hey! It's me! I'm you! Can you hear me!?" He yelled at… well himself, but he was ignored, or wasn't heard. His former self left, leaving him alone in the dark

"What is going on?"

Belos heard giggling. It was… "Luz!" He shouted "What have you done with me, you little girl!?"

Luz came out of the shadows, a smile on her face. "To simply put: It's a Jojo reference." She said.

"A Jojo what?" He asked, not familliar with these things Luz was talking about.

"Nothing for you to worry about." Luz said. "Essentially, I used a spell on you that will make you relive every single death that has occurred in your presence."

Belos widened his eyes. "What?" He asked, as if he didn't hear her right. "That's impossible! There is no magic like that!"

"Yeah, but it looks like King's dad was keeping a few secrets to himself. I mean, this was the same guy who sealed away the Collector, so I don't doubt he has a few trick ups his sleeves."Luz explained.

She casually twirled her cane, walking around. "Now, some people would be lucky and only have to experience one or two deaths in their lifes. But you, Philip or Belos…" Luz stopped twirling her cane and rested her hands on it. "You've lived a long life, haven't you? And I bet you witnessed a lot of death, almost all of them caused by you no doubt, which in my opinion is the cherry on top."

Belos began to hyperventilate as he thought of the number. How many? How many people died on his watch? It must be in the hundreds!

"You're probably starting to count on your head. And I bet it's a lot." Luz said, counting with her fingers. "All of your Grimwalkers, people around you, Palismen…"

"Those aren't living beings!" Belos snapped, stopping his thoughts.

Luz frowned for a brief second, before gaining her casual attitude again. "To me they are, and honestly, your opinion doesn't really matter in this situation." She answered

"Why are you doing this?" Belos asked. "What did I do to deserve this?" He asked, as if not realizing the hypocrisy of that question.

"Oh gosh, countless moral reasons could have applied. As well as the fact you made the lives of everyone I care about a living hell. But honestly…"

Luz face began to form into a dark smirk, one Belos never saw on the girl. Her eyes glowed with a sinister light, her teeth now like fangs. He doesn't know if humans were capable of expressing such expression r if her new form allowed her to change her facial expression so much.

"...I just want to watch you suffer."

"W-What?" Belos said, terrified of the girl in front of her for the first time.

Luz walked towards him, standing over him, the lights of the cave forming a shadow in front of her, further adding a scary aura to her. Her cane disappeared, the weird snake Palismen hissing at him.

"I want to watch your pitiful struggle in trying to change your fate, scream as you realize you're about to die, the despair when you go into the next life, seeing how long it takes until your mind breaks from the cycle, and finally, when this is all over, watch as you beg for the sweet release of death." She explained. "To the outside world, it's just 5 seconds, but to us… well, we got 400 years of death to catch up on, so we better start now."

"Y-You're a…" Belos stuttered, unable to finish the sentence.

Luz shrugged. "It's just like you said: We're human." She said, before she cheerfully waved. "See you in the next life. Bye!"

Belos screamed as his countdown began.

Do I think Belos death was good enough in the show? Yes.

Do I think he deserved more? Yes

Do I think Luz would do this in the show? Nah, but I like writing nice characters be vindictive.

Also, for my readers of other stories, don't worry, this is merely a one-shot.

I still have to rewatch the entire series to properly write a story if I wanted to.
