After talking to my best friend, Kaley about RJ whose is Rocket's adorable and awesome Therian cub in the Guardianscomics and she saw a theory for Volume 3 involving Adam Warlock and RJ, I felt like writing a story about him and Rocket bonding and the Guardians are like his family.

So in this story, Rocket ends up becoming a foster-daddy to RJ otherwise known as Rocket Junior which helps him feel better about Emily and Shocket his daughters leaving the nest however Groot has some big feels about his new brother

"RJ, that's what I wanna call him, RocketvJunior, you know." Rocket said gently holding the infant-cub in his furry arms seeing the infant-cub smile at him despite Quill being the cub's biological daddy but had given Rocket the blessing to adopt the male-cub making Rocket emotional, his daughters, Emily and Shocket had left the nest and he missed them, so RJ was fillijg that void in his heart besides Nebula being his sister only the blue-skinned woman was grinning at the male-cub in her brother's furry arms as he was feeding RJ milk then burping him makijg Rocket laugh hysterically, relieving her and the others seeing Mantis checking his emotions sensing happiness from Rocket surprising her and the others only this was a good thing, a miracle.

"I love you too, buddy and welcome to our crazy, wonderful family." he said kissing his lil snout making Nebula realise something, RJ was something special, a Therian making Rocket curious wondering what that was looking it up on his tablet amazed by this knowing RJ was a Therian but a raccoon one mak8ng sense that the kid had imprinted with him grinning mischievously knowing they were gonna have fun as he grew up, dressing him like a raccoon which the others found adorable, even Nebula as the cub was like her cub too which Rocket liked that she could be his mommy as he didn't have one, he could explain it when RJ was a lil older to understand seeing him wanting to snuggle with him hoping there weren'tvany missions makijg that cross Rocket's mind, he couldn't take a baby on missions despite the fact lil Groot went on missions all the time, that was different.

"I am Groot, I am Groot." Groot told him.

"You going on missions is different buddy, you can take care of yourself, RJ can't." Rocket said to him seeing RJ curious about Groot making Rocket chuckle but Groot was annoyed by the infant trying to tug on his vines even though Rocket had did the same thing as a toddler, that was different as he loved his fur-daddy, this new cub he wasn't so sure of yet but knowing his dad loved RJ, he would try.

"I should make a baby holder, like Terran parents do, and he needs a bed." Rocket said which the others agreed with.

"And diapers, your foster-cub isn't shipbroken or housebroken, he's peeing." Drax pointed out as RJ was peeing on Rocket's furry feet making Drax laugh hysterically and Groot was grabbing a diaper putting ut on RJ impressing the others especialky Rocket, wondering how he'd did it making the treelike being grin at his friend's question because he'd had practice pointing at him, making Nebula surprised, forgetting Groot had taken care of Rocket when he had been a baby and was super curious to hear about that sometime.

"I am Groot, I am Groot." he told him while rocking the infant-cub in his vije-like arms

"He's just markijg his territory and I'm part ofit, which is awesome." Rocket replied taking RJ from his best-pal heading to his room making a crib for him which was cosy like the one the High Evloutionary had made for him as a baby smiling at that memory knowing RJ was royalty just like him besides being a Therian tucking him ijto it with a blanket seeing him out like a light, after he kissed his heas working on the papoose but also a holo glider stroller the cub could stroll around in but would protect him from danger working through the night, alomg with feeding RJ as he woke up various times during the night hoping the others would get it, if they were woken up because of RJ

"Whoa, you alright, as you look tired but happy, let me get you some coffee, really strong coffee, how late were you up and guess RJ needed you." Nebula asked seeing Rocket feeding RJ and makijg faces to her him to eat which made her grin trying not to laugh knowing he was being encouraging like when Emily was that age seeing the others entering, wondering what was so funny.

"Oh nothing, just somebody encouraging his cub to eat breakfast." she told them, seeing Rocket's furry cheeks go pink at her answer seeing RJ being happy about being with his new family, only Groot sighed knowing his new lil brother needed attention so was keeping how he was feeling to himself getting his headphones listening to music in his room only Nebula saw Rocket sighing holding RJ in his furry arms.

"Don't worry about your big brother, he just needs time to adjust to you and once he does, you guys will be good friends." he reassured him hearing the male-cub giggle which was melting his heart a bit like when his lil inkblot, Emily had been born so was sighing working on fixing things making RJ curious but he was keeping him safe deciding to make a playden for him so he couldn't get hurt or into trouble seeing Mantis wanting to snuggle him.

"Mantis be careful, he's still getting used to things but understabd you wanna snuggle him." Rocket told her.

"Awwww RJ you're so cute and probably gonna be a Guardian when you grow up." she told him hugging him.

Rocket smiled at this, hoping that RJ would grow up well and loved like how the High Evloutionary has given him love growing up on Wondergore getting him food, as he was hungry letting Mantis help him feed RJ but she was helping him despite RJ was being a messy eater just like Rocket making her giggle hearing him laughijg at this not noticing Groot making a face which Mantis noticed guessing he was not used to having to share Rocket with somebody else.

"Come with me, Groot, maybe I can help you feel better." she told him making him curious.
