Author's note: Welcome! If you want to see the complete work on Ao3, then the link is on the Profiles! It's really tough to figure out a way to put it even in the summary.

If you decide to follow it here instead, then by all means! This'll be a version posted bit by bit as it'll be more polished and adapted to the format. Basically, it covers the plot of ARC-V with the what-if of Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir being Yuzu's Duel Spirit, starting from Episode 29 of the original anime: The Fusing Maestras. Some twists are to be expected but it'll follow the original plot as close as it can be. No plot changes will be made, just some corrections, especially from the earlier phases.

Last but not least, huge credit to Yume_Sekaii for the Cover Art! Link on Profile!

With all that said, I hope you have fun! Comments and criticisms are appreciated!

The Maiami Championship's Junior Youth division has opened with a fated rematch, staged on an Action Field of intricate pathways and poles, on top of what seemed like an abyss:

YUZU VS MASUMI

A Fusion debut by Yuzu vs the training and experience that LDS' Masumi holds, and the scene has Yuzu on the ropes, having barely hung on from the assault of the Gem-Knights, thanks to her summoning Crystal Rose, originally owned by Masumi, on her side of the field in response to Masumi's Fusion Summon, knowing it would happen due to her pride as a Fusion Duelist.

YUZU LP: 100

0 cards in Hand

Crystal Rose (Level 2/LIGHT/Rock/200/200)

1 set Spell/Trap

MASUMI LP: 2900

0 cards in Hand

Gem-Knight Lady Brilliant Diamond (Level 10/EARTH/Rock/Fusion/3400/2000)

Gem-Knight Zirconia (Level 8/EARTH/Rock/Fusion/2900/2500)

1 set Spell/Trap

Brilliant Fusion

"Don't get optimistic just because you barely survived!" Masumi remarked coldly. "Show me if you can do anything more than just fight back in vain next turn!"

"Of course. My turn!" Yuzu responded.

As she was to draw, memories of motivation and growth came in.

She reminisced of Yuya handing over her Polymerization card: "With that card, you're working hard to change."

Next, Yuto reassuring her: "Wanting to change and become stronger for your friends isn't wrong."

Lastly, herself. "I decided to become stronger for my friends."

With that, she proceeded: "I DRAW!" As she drew, a bright pink pentagram followed her hand, colorful notes and a bright melody accompanying the draw, revealing the card. It was exactly what she needed.

"I'll now show you my radiance!" Yuzu declares. "I Summon Soprano the Melodious Songstress!"

Shortly after Yuzu placed Soprano on the Duel Disk, the green-skinned, blind fairy sporting red long hair with numerous tails came to present herself to the audience with an operatic ascending scale, earning Sora's approval on the spot.

Soprano the Melodious Songstress (Level 4/LIGHT/Fairy/1400/1400)

Yuzu continued: "If I use Soprano to Fusion Summon, I can Fusion Summon without a Fusion Spell!"

"Is she going to use my Crystal Rose?" Masumi deducted, knowing its effect.

"Crystal Rose can be treated as another monster that's required for a Fusion Summon." Explained Yuzu. "I treat Crystal Rose as Mozarta the Melodious Maestra!"

An image of Mozarta, Yuzu's trusted ace, shone with Crystal Rose as its center. The audience was moved by the beautiful sight, like they witnessed the Fairy being born out the rose. Yuzu then continued.

"Due to Soprano the Melodious Songstress's effect, Soprano fuses with Crystal Rose!" As her monsters lifted in the air, converging into a blue and orange Fusion portal, Yuzu placed her arms on her chest, readying her Summoning chant.

"The angel's song! The supreme genius! Follow the Baton and stack your power! Fusion Summon! Take the stage with the song of victory! Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir!"

A lotus flower appeared onto the field, its center gradually blooming to reveal a silver-haired humanoid female wearing a white dress, golden hair clips shaped like treble clefs, and a pink scarf floating around her body as yellow petals circled her. She too sang an operatic ascending note, like Soprano's, but more delicate, as she posed with open arms, revealing her whole azure eyes with lines coming out from below them running down her cheek, as well as pentagram-like patterns on her arms, adorned by yellow flower bracelets.

Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir (Level 6/LIGHT/Fairy/Fusion/1000/2000)

Her new ace monster, proof of Yuzu's growth and Sora's training, had appeared on the stage. Fully determined despite Bloom Diva's low ATK, Yuzu charged ahead.

"Bloom Diva attacks Gem-Knight Zirconia!" She declared. Bloom Diva follows her lead, preparing her voice as a petal circle swirled right in front of her. Zirconia lunges at her, attempting to hit her frame with a crystal mallet-like arm, only to get blocked with seemingly just the Fairy's voice.

"Bloom Diva cannot be destroyed in battle against a monster that was Special Summoned. You take the battle damage, and your monster is destroyed! Reflect Shout!" As Yuzu declared, Bloom Diva unleashed a green petal tornado via her voice alone, felling Zirconia right on the spot and knocking Masumi down.

MASUMI LP: 2900 - 1000

"How dare you..." Masumi growled as she got up: "But that will lead to your downfall. I activate the trap Brilliant Spark! When a Gem-Knight monster is destroyed, you take damage equal to its ATK!"

A lethal amount, should it work, but Yuzu was prepared for it. "I activate the trap Melodious Illusion! It negates your trap that activated during my battle phase, and one Melodious monster can attack again!"

"Brilliant Spark's other effect!" Masumi declared as she hurried to pick up an action card next to a pole, Yuzu preparing to follow suit. "By sending a spell from my hand to the graveyard, it negates a trap-negating effect!" She almost managed to reach the Action Card, the Spell she needed to discard to seal the victory...

But was stopped in her tracks when Yuzu dove past her, nabbing the card with a diving catch. In a coordinated effort, Bloom Diva flew below to catch her, a holy choir sound accompanying her descent, then put her on a safe landing ground.

"When it comes to action, You Show School won't lose!"

A surprised Masumi asked: "No way! She jumped down from that height?"

Yuzu replied: "Becoming one with my Monsters is how You Show School duels! Due to Melodious Illusion's effect, Bloom Diva can attack again!"

The Choir surged with energy from Melodious Illusion's pink aura, the earth trembling as she readied her voice, like a power up.

"This is the end! Bloom Diva attacks Brilliant Diamond!" The two declared monsters charged at each other right after Yuzu's declaration, ready to attack at full force.

"Reflect Shout!" That was the cue for Bloom Diva to unleash her singing tornado, destroying Lady Brilliant Diamond and knocking Masumi off the walkway and seemingly into the abyss.

MASUMI LP: 1000 - 0

"Masumi!" Shouted Yuzu, horrified at the sight. At that moment, it seemed like Yuzu and Bloom Diva's thoughts were in complete sync. They would not allow Masumi to fall! Bloom Diva promptly flew towards her, weaving between the sea of floating roads ahead, and finally managing to catch her, with a look of relief at the tragedy avoided, directed towards the brunette.

"You saved me?" Masumi asked at the hands of the Choir, and Yuzu confirmed from far away with a nod. Bloom Diva redirected her gaze towards her Master, not noticing Masumi's aggressive blush at the save.

The duel was decided, and the reactions varied. Shuzo was possibly the most excited he's ever been, the You Show School students cheered, Sora proudly smirked, and Hokuto and Yaiba, Masumi's LDS companions, breathed a sigh of relief.

As sunset drew, that being the last duel after the Junior division's opening Duels, the You Show group left the stadium, all congratulating Yuzu on her victory. Shortly after, they heard a voice:

"Yuzu Hiiragi!"

They turned around to see that it was indeed Masumi, pointing at Yuzu with a serious expression on her face. "Since you defeated me, you better keep winning." She declared, approaching the girl somewhat menacingly. "I couldn't stand it if I lost to someone who couldn't win the tournament! So take this." She pulled a card out of her case, and Yuzu instantly noticed it.

"This is Crystal Rose, why?" Yuzu asked, almost shocked by Masumi's sudden kindness. The brunette flicks her hair backwards in return.

"You need that card to show the brilliance that you displayed in today's Duel. See you." Masumi then turned around to walk off into the sunset. "I won't forgive you if you lose!" Were her last words.

As Masumi leaves, Yuzu swore : "Masumi, thank you! I'm going to shine even brighter!" A soft, unfamiliar voice came out of the ether for Yuzu to listen:

"How wonderful! This will be the beginning of a beautiful duet!"

Yuzu's open smile of victory became a confused look. She felt like she heard that voice before, but wasn't sure of who it belonged to. She frantically looked around to see if anyone was around to talk to her, but it was just the You Show Duel School group.

"Yuzu, is something up?" Yuya asked as Yuzu kept looking around for a short while.

"Didn't you guys hear something?" Yuzu replied to the confused faces of the group. Upon getting a negative reaction, she put off what she just heard for now. "Hehe, maybe I was just a bit tired... It's been an intense day out there, you know!"

Sora remarked, getting out the lollipop he had in his mouth: "Yeah, I gotta say, your Duel was impressive. But if you're worn out already, you won't go very far. Just go get some rest, I wouldn't want my pupil to flop on her second round..."

Yuzu was understandably miffed, but Sora was not completely wrong. She felt a ton of pressure during that Duel. However...

"Look, I had a lot to prove there! Of course I was nervous back there, but I... just had to prove myself, to you, Masumi, and everyone else! I'm sure my next matches will go much smoother!"

"If you say so..." Finishes Sora, putting his lollipop back in his mouth.

Shuzo patted Yuzu on the back: "You have done a fantastic job out there! I cannot stress this enough! But it's best to not push ourselves, eh? C'mon, let's go home."

Yuzu nodded to her comforting father, then saluted her friends before separating from the group alongside him.

Some time after a celebratory dinner, courtesy of Shuzo, when everything was settled and she was alone, she started thinking: "OK, I am SURE I heard a voice back then, it's not my mind playing tricks on me! Was it... Nah, it couldn't have been! Why would she suddenly talk to me like that?!"

"Um..."

Yuzu froze. The voice came back. That dulcet tone came out almost like a quiet, delicate note. She could not believe any of this, but had to confirm. She frantically looked around her cards, to then stop at the sight of who the voice might just belong to...

"...B-Bloom Diva? Is that you?"

"Yes, it is I who spoke back then after Crystal Rose was gifted to you. I apologize if I startled you."

Stunned at the revelation, and still holding Bloom Diva in hand, Yuzu walked a few steps backwards until she fell onto her bed. Kidnappings, boys with the same face, incidents at LDS, and now this. It looked like her days of crazy happenings were far from over.

"How is this even a thing...? How do I handle this?!" Yuzu cried in her thoughts.

"I can only imagine the ordeals you have gone through in these past few days, Yuzu." Bloom Diva responds concernedly. "I do not blame you for having these thoughts, but please believe me... We have seen you are determined to do all you can to protect those dear to you. We have finally managed to reach you in spirit, and are here to help."

"We...?" Yuzu wondered. "Well, you have always helped me as Cards. I have Dueled with the Melodious monsters since I was a child and had many experiences with them, and you were how I finally managed to beat Masumi and prove myself to everyone... But this spirit stuff, the mere fact that all of you have a soul... Is this even possible?"

"Hmm... Tell me, how are us monsters seen in this world? Please do not hesitate to tell me anything you know." Bloom Diva asks.

Yuzu was puzzled at such a question. Whether or not this was all a trick of her mind, it couldn't hurt to answer, it'll probably make it go away sooner.

"Well, what I know is that Reiji Akaba is the president of Leo Corporation, which created the Cards and the Solid Vision System. That allows the Monster holograms to actually be solid, so duelists could interact with them. In short, you are considered as fictional holograms. He even managed to create Pendulum cards after Yuya suddenly had them... Wait."

Bloom Diva understood what Yuzu was referring to, she subsequently thought: "Well... maybe it's true that we were created by him. If so, I should thank him whenever possible for being our Inspiration."

Yuzu interjected: "Inspiration?" Shortly after, a short, awkward pause ensued. If she were visible to Yuzu aside from her Card form, Bloom Diva would have looked visibly embarrassed at that slip-up.

"...! Sorry, I... Meant not to say that. Let us explain this later." Bloom Diva admitted. "But you have told me that we were both created by corporations... And generated by individuals as Cards. As for being generated, I understood from your duel with Yuya that he originated this type of Card... Pendulum? Well, would you not say he managed to generate it with his own spirit, if it was previously unknown?"

Yuzu had to take in what she just heard. Yuya did in fact create a new Summoning mechanic seemingly out of nowhere. Not only that, he also managed to Summon a new Fusion with that Pendulum effect without aid of the corporation; with the card she gave him, no less.

"Tell me, Yuzu..." Bloom Diva continued: "How did you get me, as well as Schuberta and Soprano, by your side as cards?"

Yuzu answered: "Well, Sora gave them to me. They told me these were new and made just for me. Would you tell me... I was the one who created you? Because I asked Sora to teach me how to Fusion Summon?!"

Bloom Diva couldn't help letting out a small giggle at that realization. "We believe so. Your will to protect has led you to the path of Fusion. First, it was Soprano. Thanks to her, Schuberta and I could finally exist."

Although all of this was starting to sound more plausible, Yuzu was still unsure, so she forwarded more of her concerns. "You're probably right that I could have let you into this world... It almost seems too much of a coincidence for you to arrive when I needed you the most. And you also saved both Masumi and me... But you directly talking to me via Telepathy... Isn't this going a bit too far?!"

"Your soul must be resonating strongly with my Duel Spirit. This is who I am in my current form and why I can feel like you do. We all have them in our own world, and we bring them to this world when manifested through Dueling. I believe you proclaiming that You Show Duel School's motto as "befriending your own Monsters" is what triggered our connection..."

Yuzu was still a bit confused from Bloom Diva's essay, but could at least feel that those thoughts weren't her own; that she wasn't going crazy. Still, she had one last question.

"If you said all Melodious monsters were watching over me from their world... How come it was you who managed to reach me? You have been in my deck for much less time than most of my Monsters, who have been by my side as I Dueled, since I was a kid!"

"Well, we may have been together for much longer than you think." Bloom Diva responded. Upon feeling Yuzu's stunned silence, she quickly explains: "You see, I am a Fusion Monster. Most precisely, I have been created from the fusion of Soprano and... Mozarta."

Yuzu, still at a loss for words and in shock at that last mention, quickly checks out Bloom Diva's card artwork. She could definitely see what the Fairy was saying: while Mozarta is significantly bigger than Bloom Diva, and also looked significantly older, her arms were still quite small compared to her frame. She also recognized her azure, whole eyes with lines coming out from beneath them. She assumed they had a similar type of skin, with Mozarta's neck and Bloom Diva's arms featuring pentagram-like decorations. Seeing this, she couldn't help but deduct...

"So... You are Mozarta? Or is Mozarta a part of you?"

"Mozarta's spirit dwells within me." Confirms Bloom Diva. "As such, I also retain her memories of your times spent together."

Yuzu was slowly realizing how things are playing out. If her Ace Monster was truly in her mind and willing to help her, she would appreciate it. She was also quite curious of how her Monsters could feel, following that revelation. However, she was not fully convinced. Bloom Diva had to back up what she told, after all. Regaining her thoughts and freeing herself from the shock, Yuzu demands, with a bit of bark: "Well then, since you claim to have Mozarta as part of you, you wouldn't mind me to verify it, would you?"

"You are more than justified in questioning all this. Please ask away, I will only answer sincerely." Bloom Diva calmly responds.

"Do you know when I first got my Action Card?"

"Indeed I do. Mozarta helped you reach it on top of a tree while you were sparring with your father. It was a crucial moment, as you were defending against a powerful attack, and that Action Card managed to protect you just enough."

Yuzu couldn't believe it. Bloom Diva had responded perfectly, as if she were Mozarta herself remembering that moment clearly. In an instant, memories flew in her mind...

YOU SHOW DUEL SCHOOL (A LONG WHILE AGO)

A grassy meadow surrounded the two duelists, with a few trees standing amidst the bed of flowers that almost stretched to the horizon. A much younger Yuzu, wearing a frilly pink dress with a darker flower pattern following her neck and waist, and her signature bracelet tied with a collar around her neck, was standing with 300 LP, with Mozarta and Sonata on her field in attack position.

Mozarta the Melodious Maestra (Level 8/LIGHT/Fairy/2600/2000)

Sonata the Melodious Diva (Level 3/LIGHT/Fairy/1200/1000) (NOT Special Summoned)

Opposite of her was Shuzo, wearing the usual outfit you'd expect, with a single Guts Master Heat on his side of the field.

Guts Master Heat (Level 4/FIRE/Warrior/1600/1600)

Shuzo was quite fired up, despite this only being a sparring match. He really meant to show how hot-blooded he could be.

"Yuzu, you risked too much by putting Sonata in Attack Position! You always need to watch out for your life points. Now this... if it goes through, you will lose! Prepare yourself!"

Yuzu started panicking at Shuzo's explanation and frantically looked around for something... anything that could help her out.

Shuzo declares: "Here goes! Guts Master Heat, attack Sonata the Melodious Diva!"

Sonata stood at the ready, bracing herself for what seemed like the finishing blow on that duel. Mozarta could only watch, without showing much emotion, until a moment later, when she suddenly felt her gigantic dress pulled a bit. It was a somewhat panicked Yuzu, who quickly said: "Mozarta! I found an Action Card up there! Can you help me get it please?"

Sure enough, Mozarta looked up for a moment to see an Action Card stuck between branches of a tree next to her position. Sonata followed suit, and sang a tune to the charging Guts Master Heat, almost as if signaling that Yuzu had a response through her melody. The attacker promptly moved in slow motion, like it was playing along to this.

Mozarta gave a tender smile to the young kid and quickly picked her up with her arms, making sure she'd be in a good position to get the Action Card.

Meanwhile, Shuzo was wowed by the Fairy's gesture. He had hardly ever seen a gesture like this in a while: politely asking a Duel Monster, just like that, for help... And it working perfectly. During this moment, he was not-so-secretly rooting for Yuzu to get it.

Sure enough, thanks to Mozarta's help, Yuzu managed to pick up the Action Card as the two battling monsters almost collided. Sonata stood there singing her tune, even as it was resisted by Guts Master Heat as his fist was about to reach her face.

"Action Card! Miracle! My Sonata cannot be destroyed by battle and I take half damage!"

Upon activation, the punch connected, but Sonata managed to hang in there and push the attacker back a bit. But the damage was not nullified, and a shockwave would have sent Yuzu falling.

"YUZU!" Yelled Shuzo, as he realized that danger, but Mozarta quickly clutched Yuzu on her chest, protecting her and letting her hang on from the blast.

YUZU LP: 300 - 100

The dad was stunned. Yuzu had managed to get the help of her monsters to save herself so cleanly... at such a short age. He witnessed Mozarta protecting her as if she were her daughter, and that brought tears to his eyes.

"Yuzu... You managed to be a pal with your ace so quickly...! Thanks to that, you came out victorious! That is what You Show's all about!" He said, teary-eyed throughout all of this.

Mozarta checked on Yuzu to see if she was okay, to hear immediately after: "Thanks Mozarta! You did it!" The big Fairy could not help but let out a gentle chuckle at that. Yuzu didn't pay mind at that time, being a kid and all, but it was clear that Mozarta was moved by such sincere joy. Following this, she gently accompanied Yuzu to the ground, so she could begin her turn safely.

YUZU'S ROOM (PRESENT DAY)

As Yuzu had stopped reminiscing, everything went quiet. When she stared back at Bloom Diva's card, she could then almost feel like she's facing Mozarta, her ace which stood by her side since she was a child. This all seemed strange to her, it was far from the first strange happening that occurred in these last times. As such, Yuzu finally believes the Diva.

"Sorry that I doubted you for so long." Yuzu told the Fairy with a smile: "It's just that a lot has happened today, I really thought my mind was playing tricks on me!"

Bloom Diva let out a sigh of relief. She could now see that Yuzu was convinced and at ease.

"I should be the one apologizing. I understand that such a happening would be tough to fully accept, but I am glad everything worked out! Now... I offer my assistance to you. I would be glad to follow you as you bring your wonderful song of smiles to the world. But, if you are not comfortable with my presence in your mind, you may just say so. Whatever the answer, the Melodious will stay by your side, always."

Yuzu thought about it for a second. For sure, having a voice in her mind could be quite troublesome, especially one that might witness... her outbursts, but it doesn't look like Bloom Diva would be bothered. In fact, she has been almost very polite, almost overly so. Plus, she just couldn't really say no to her Ace Monster; she felt that both could grow from this.

"Very well, Bloom Diva! I accept your offer, welcome to my... Um... Mind!"

Bloom Diva was glad at Yuzu's approval. She was about to thank her, but Yuzu continued talking on the spot: "But... There is one main rule you need to follow! You don't need to stay in here all the time, there are some moments in which I implore you to stay quiet, like in the classroom, when I'm dining with my dad and especially in the shower! Also, please don't interrupt me while I'm talking to others unless absolutely necessary. You really scared me when you first did, you know?"

Bloom Diva understood all of that. "Of course, it would be rude to interject like that, so it is best I will leave you be when you need to. Besides, we can only communicate as long as you are close to my Card, whether in a Duel or not."

"You know what? I'm sure we'll get along great!" Yuzu reassured her.

"I too do believe our duets will be wonderful!" Yuzu was somewhat befuddled by the Fairy's musical pun. After a bit, Bloom Diva continued: "Now, shall I be off then? I am certain you need some rest." Bloom Diva asks.

"Yeah, I definitely need it. Ah, one last thing..."

"...Hm?"

"Thanks for your splendid performance out there in the tournament! Thanks for sticking with me until the end! Just... Thank you!"

"Do not undersell your performance, Yuzu. While I battled, it was you who ultimately led all of us to victory. We just helped you out as you requested."

Yuzu blushed a bit at that remark, but Bloom Diva would not stop there.

"Yuzu, you are the one who conducts your plays, the songs that all of us share for the world to enjoy. You, Yuzu, are our Maestra."

The "Maestra", for hopefully the last time of the night, was stunned. But she recovered quickly.

"Ah, you say so? It's a bit weird hearing this from one who has... Mozarta's spirit inside her! The Melodious Maestra!... At least, I think I remember correctly."

"But it is only right. Very well then, I hope you have a pleasant and serene night."

"Well, thanks. Good night to you too, Bloom Diva."

Yuzu put Bloom Diva's card right on top of her deck and quickly went to bed. She did feel exhausted from all the happenings of today, but she also felt a strong sense of relief.

"Well, huh, what a day. I still wonder if I'll actually have Bloom Diva in my mind from now on. She'd be surely tired of me still doubting her... right?"

Yuzu turned her head to face her deck. She was trying to see if the Fairy responded, but to no avail.

"Uh, Right?

Rig..."

It understandably did not last long at all, as she fell into a deep sleep immediately after. It was clear that Bloom Diva was not in her mind, tricks or not. It is unknown whether spirits could even sleep or not, or whether Bloom Diva would be de-fused when coming back to her own world or she would stay whole. As far as Yuzu saw, she was the Card currently on top of her Deck.

After a rather quiet night, morning came. Yuzu woke up fairly early that morning, so she had some more time to prepare than usual; not that there were any classes for today. Instead, she had to cheer on her friends performing in the Maiami Championship. Those matches wouldn't be something to write off either, as Gongenzaka and Yuya will face bitter rivals, and Sora will duel against Shun, the catalyst of many woes around LDS. But that could wait, as she had to make sure what she witnessed yesterday was not a dream or anything like that. She sat down on her desk and quickly checked out her Deck with Bloom Diva on top, as she left it.

"Good morning, Yuzu. I hope you slept well."

Yuzu could confirm that, indeed, none of this was a trick. It looked like she had found a new companion after all.

"Good morning, Bloom Diva. Yes, I slept like a rock tonight, thanks for asking!"

"I am glad. Now, I forgot to ask, what are your programs for today? This tournament is continuing, is it not?" Bloom Diva asked.

"Well, yeah. Masumi and I were actually the first match-up, so all that I can do is spectate the others. You know what, if you want, you're welcome to join me so you can see them in action!"

"Ah, that would be wonderful. I had not really watched how your friends conducted their "Entertainment Duel" lately, aside from Yuya... attempting to perform his plays."

"Ah, that! Well, that was just a fluke. I'm sure he will amaze you this time, he has improved a ton, especially on using Pendulum. His Odd-Eyes even managed to transform and become a Fusion, kinda like you... Mozarta did."

Bloom Diva couldn't help but let out a giggle at Yuzu's sudden stop. "You will get used to it, I am sure. It looks like Odd-Eyes has a strong bond with your dear friend as well. I look forward to hearing their songs in harmony... Ah! Speaking of Fusion... would you mind checking your Deck now, please?"

Yuzu promptly looked through her cards at the Fairy's request. "Well, what do you want me to look for, exactly? It's not like it has cards missing, rig...

OH."

That sudden stop was prompted by an unfamiliar sight in her deck. Upon closer inspection, she found out about two new Monster cards that looked like kids, one with a pink hair with a tuft on front and two side drills, wearing a frilly purple dress and angel wings, almost as if she were a ballerina; and one with similarly styled gray hair and a green and white uniform, displaying a scarlet mallet and a single red drum.

"Opera the Melodious Diva? Tamtam the Melodious Diva? I don't remember seeing these two cards... ever! Were they generated just like you told me Yesterday?"

"Indeed they were. These two new members have joined our band, willing to help you out however they can."

Following Bloom Diva's remark, Yuzu inspected the two cards further, one at a time.

"Opera's attack stat is really impressive for a level 4! That must mean... ah yes, there's a drawback. She cannot attack whenever she's summoned. What, does she have stage fright or something?" Yuzu asked rather jokingly.

"That is correct. Her talent is remarkable, but she takes a bit before cleansing herself from her anxiety on the set."

Yuzu then said no more; she really had trouble following up with such a candid response to that joke.

"Tamtam has as much defense as Canon, and she can... Lower the ATK of the Monster she is used as Fusion Material for... This is tailor-made for you, isn't it?"

"Tamtam has managed to create a melody that perfectly resonates with me. She truly has a unique style."

"Wait, both of them have effects when used as Fusion Material! I see what you meant!"

"Your will to pursue your career as a Fusion Duelist has allowed their talents to truly shine. And perhaps... even your bond with your master, Sora."

Yuzu could see where the Fairy was coming from. Her Melodious Divas have always had the appearance of young adult women, but now there were two Divas who were essentially children, displaying carefree attitudes, as the only monsters who had effects activated after a Fusion Summon. It didn't really help that Opera's hair resembled cotton candy and Tamtam's stick, one of the lollipops Sora loved so much.

"Ah! It's almost time." Yuzu exclaimed. "Bloom Diva, we're headed for the Maiami Stadium. I can't have the others wait for me, let's go!"

"Right behind you." Bloom Diva followed up, as Yuzu quickly grabbed her things and walked off to meet her friends. The matches were all high stakes for them, so she will support them with everything she's got! Bloom Diva would do what she could to help both her, and by proxy her friends, out.
