Chapter 1: Don't Make Puck Angry

Noah Puckerman was driving past the park when he saw his niece, Liza Marie Anderson, running from a group of kids. As soon as he stops and gets out of his truck, Liza Marie runs to him, crying, "Uncle Hulk!" repeatedly.

Then the kids froze, and some of them peed themselves. Noah smirks as he holds Liza Marie in his arms and says to the other kids, "Don't make me angry; you wouldn't like me when I'm angry." then the kids run away crying.

Soon Noah is taking Liza Marie home, and he says," Let me guess, those little jerks were bullying you for having two dads."

Liza Marie looks down as she says, "They always do, and I was always able to handle it until today. There were too many of them this time, and they scared me. Then I saw your truck. I am glad you stopped, Uncle Nono."

When they got to her house, they saw Blaine outside yelling at another man, saying, "I didn't send anyone to scare your son, and I'm sure he deserved it! He has been bullying my daughter for weeks now!"

Then the man's son started to cry when he saw Noah getting Liza Marie out of his truck. Noah recognizes the man immediately and says, "Hey, John, I see you met Congressman Hummel's son-in-law!" Then John's face goes white before he grabs his son and heads to his truck.

Soon Blaine is chuckling as he says to Noah, "Let me guess, you're the one that scared his son. Ha, Liza Marie has been calling you Uncle Hulk for a while now. She begged me to tell you about the bullying, but Kurt wouldn't let me and said she didn't need your help."

Then they see Kurt coming outside with Burt, who says to Noah, "God, Puck, I think you made that guy piss himself. Carole went shopping for a few things and will return soon with Rachel.

Then he leans in to whisper, "Rachel went to a Build-A-Bear shop and made a Hulk doll with a mohawk."

Noah chuckles as he looks at Liza Marie and says, "Good thing she's Blaine's daughter, or I would have to rib Kurt over the fact I'm her first crush."

Then they all go inside and see Santana feeding Quinn as she sits in her wheelchair. Quinn had a stroke that left her crippled and half of her face paralyzed.

Noah then retires early from the Air Force and buys Burt's old shop from his buddy Mick.

When Quinn sees Liza Marie, she says, "Hey, you! Happy birthday, Liza Marie. Big girl!"

Then she looks over at Burt and asks, "Talk, now? Your Beth? Good time?"

Burt looks over at Noah and says, "Sure, Quinn. What do you want to know?"

Quinn looks over at Liza Marie as she says, "Know what happened?" Scared too?"

Burt takes her hand before saying, "Quinn, do you want to hear me say what Kurt would always tell me?"

Quinn looks at her belly and says, "I'm scared!" Told abort! Save self! I didn't listen! Now, this! Hurt Nono! Beth Shelby's! New daughter! Me, this! Nono's dreams! All gone! No, Beth! I don't want! Him, you! Single father!"

Then Burt chuckles before saying, "Yeah, well, Puck has way more guns, and already scares the piss out of kids. Besides, Quinn, if I'm still around when your daughter starts to date boys, they won't have a chance."

Burt then puts his hat on Noah's head while Noah has his arms crossed. Before Quinn looks at Blaine, then says, "So glad Kurt has you! Ha, God! Nono gay! Kurt dead!"

Then she looked at Burt and said, "Or you, kill Nono! Before they date, haha."

Soon Liza Marie says, "Auntie Queenie, you should have seen Nono at the park earlier. It was awesome!"

Then she touches Quinn's belly and says, "If the kids tease her over having you as a mom, I bet Nono will be like Grandpa Burt. Ha, I might be like Auntie Tana too!"

Quinn looks at Burt and says, "Me, your Beth, same. Read her diary was in Finn's stuff. Outside, Rachel, inside me Ha Liza, inside Rachel, outside like Kurt."

Liza Marie glares at Quinn before she says to her, "Sorry, Liza, no Tana."

Then Liza Marie glares at Quinn and clenches her fists. Before Quinn says, "Ha see, no Tana, That's Nono, not Tana!"

Then Blaine says, "Hey, now, Quinn, hold on, that is my daughter, and I was a fighter too."

Quinn giggles as she says, "Yea, but. Nono, crush. You, Papa."

Then Quinn laughs before she says to Santana, "Remember Kurt dating Brittany?"

Kurt started to blush as Burt said, "I sure do."

Before he looks over at Noah and says, "Finn wasn't his first crush, and your teasing him drove him crazy,"

Kurt glares at Burt and yells, "I did not have a crush on Puck, Dad!"

Burt chuckles as he says, "So, I just imagined seeing you at your mother's grave, telling her about a Mohawked Neanderthal that was starting to remind you of me."

Before Quinn asks, "When was crush?"

Burt chuckles and says, "The last time you were pregnant."

Then Quinn says, "Tana, get my purse."

As soon as she gets her purse, she says, "Give Burt fifty dollars."

Then Quinn says to Burt, "A bet's a bet."

Kurt storms out, and Noah tells Blaine, "I got this, man." As he follows Kurt outside.

As Kurt sits on the porch swing, he says, "I know, I know, you don't swing that way. I'm not mad at Quinn, Puck. I'm mad at myself. I have wanted someone like Dad for years, and you were the straightest guy around at the time. Plus, the only one that fits the bill. So, I moved on to Finn coming up with the craziest scheme to get him to be my boyfriend! I should thank you, though. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have found Blaine, and if it weren't for Santana, we wouldn't be married."

Soon they hear Rachel say, "And if it weren't for me, you wouldn't have Liza Marie as a daughter."

Then she showed Noah the Hulk doll and said, "Puck, I'm so glad you are straight, and Liza Marie's crush started before she could talk. Puck, there is a reason I made this doll."

Noah chuckles as he says, "Rach, I know; she calls me Uncle Hulk, and no offense. But if I were gay, Quinn would have got to be the baby mama."

Before Rachel can respond, they hear Liza Marie scream, "Queenie!"

And Burt yells, "Call 911!"

Later, when Quinn wakes up in the hospital, she hears Noah yelling at someone, saying, "That is my wife in there and my baby! You better do whatever it takes to see she carries my daughter to term!"

Then she sees Liza Marie holding the Hulk doll from Rachel as she stands in the doorway of Quinn's hospital room. Before Liza Marie says, "Queenie?"

Quinn tries to speak, but can't and begins to cry, and when Noah comes in, she says, "Bbbb."

Then Burt enters and says, "I'm here, Quinn."

Quinn shakes her head no before Noah says, "She's on her way, babe."

Quinn looks over at Burt, then back at Noah, before breaking down as she cries herself to sleep.

Later, when she wakes up again, Burt is still there, but Noah is gone. Burt takes her hand and says, "Puck had to go outside to make a phone call.

Then they heard Noah scream, "Goddamn it! Beth, I'm not asking for much here! I want you to come to see Quinn!"

Soon he screamed a guttural roar before saying, "Fucking bitch!"

When Noah returns, Burt says, "God, Puck, I heard that from here! I take it Beth isn't coming to see Quinn."

Noah fluffs Quinn's pillow and says, "I don't want to talk about it, Mr. H."

Before Quinn elbows him hard in the stomach, he says, "Okay, babe, geez!"

Then he says to Burt, "Basically, Mr. H. Beth refuses to come to see Quinn and is being a total bitch about it."

Burt squeezes Noah's shoulder and says, "I'm sure she'll come around, son." Then he leaves the room to get some coffee.

When he returns, he hears Noah saying, "You are not going to die, Quinn! Now, come on! Stop this! You have been like this ever since you found that goddamn diary! You are not Elizabeth!"

As Burt enters the room, he says, "Quinn, Puck is right here, and might I add, you are stronger than Elizabeth too. In the end, she just gave up. You better be thankful Kurt didn't try to get me to go out with Norah."

Soon they are all laughing before Noah says, "Ha, I told Ma about Kurt's crush, and she is glad Sarah doesn't know about it. She wanted it to happen more than Kurt did."

Then Quinn yawns, and Noah says, "Okay, babe, we'll let you rest." Before he lowers the head of the bed and tucks her in.

When Quinn woke up in the morning, she heard Liza Marie yelling, "Aunt Beff, Auntie Queenie needs you! Goddamn it, Aunt Beff, get your ass down here now! Queenie needs you! Mama Rachel is here, and so is Nana Shelby! Now you come to see Auntie Queenie or I'll put Uncle Nono back on the phone!"

Then there was a pause before Liza Marie screamed, "I have a dada, and Nono is your dada, not mine, and that shouldn't keep you from seeing Auntie Queenie! God, you big meanie!"

After this, Liza Marie stormed into Quinn's room, followed by Noah, Kurt, Blaine, Burt, and Carole. Before she climbs Quinn's bed and says, "Beff is a big meanie!"

As soon as Liza Marie calms down, Quinn says something as she looks at Burt. But it was hard to understand, and Liza Marie says, "Grandpa Burt, Queenie wants to know if Dada was acting like Aunt Beff when he was a boy."

Kurt answered her, saying, "I didn't start acting like that until after my mom died, and I hated God for years. You helped me see that what happened to my mom and dad wasn't God's fault. You helped me believe in him again, Quinn."

Quinn looks at Liza Marie, then at her belly as she breaks down crying, and says, "Why?!" repeatedly.

Soon Noah lies on one side of Quinn, and Liza Marie lies on the other. Then Burt goes out of the room, followed by Shelby.

Fifteen minutes later, the others heard Burt yelling at Beth, saying, "I can't believe you would hurt Quinn like this! She needs you, and all you want to do is hurt her! Shelby might be your mama now, but Quinn is the one who gave birth to you! Goddamn it, she needs you, Beth!"

Then Santana is heard saying, "Get your ass down here and show Quinn; you still have a heart! She could die, and she needs you here! Now, stop being a bitch and come see her!"

Shelby is the next to yell at Beth as she says, "Did you know Quinn was going to be Liza Marie's mama?" But Rachel donated her egg so Kurt could be a dad. Quinn needs you here; now you better find a way, young lady!"

Then Quinn says something to Liza Marie, and she says to the others, "Queenie is tired and needs a nap. She wants me and Nono to stay." Quinn holds Liza Marie as they sleep. As Noah watches them until he falls asleep, too.

An hour later, Noah woke up and heard Burt say to Beth, "Do you know how scared Quinn is right now? She has been asking me about my first wife since she got pregnant. Way before she found her diary and way before she had the stroke! Do you know why she gave you up was that she feared dying and leaving Puck to be a single father, like my first wife?"

Beth tries to speak, but Burt cuts her off, saying, "She was ashamed of what she did, not of having you. She was ashamed of tricking Finn and breaking his heart. Did you know Puck was the only one who wanted you, and he was the one who thought it was best that you stayed with Shelby? They loved you, but they were too young to raise you."

Soon he heard Sarah say, "He was ten when I was born, and he was helping my ma. He wasn't raising me alone like Mr. H. did Kurt. Mr. H. only did that for six years until Kurt got him together with Mrs. H."

Then he walks out of the room and sees Rachel talking to Kurt before he starts yelling at Beth, "Shelby might have raised you, but that is your mother in there, and your sister! I lost you to Shelby, Beth! I am not losing the only daughter I have, Beth! I am not like Mr. H! That is all I have heard from everyone since Quinn had the stroke, and I am sick of it! The only person I can stand to be around that doesn't say that! Is a six-year-old little girl that calls me Uncle Hulk! Did you know your niece has a crush on me and has loved me since she was a baby? I am lucky if I get to see you for more than five minutes! You have tried to avoid seeing us for years, and now you might lose the chance to get to know Quinn!" Soon Noah started to cry as he headed toward the maternity ward, followed by Kurt.

As Kurt approaches Noah, he says, "Your dad is right. Quinn has been afraid to die since she got pregnant. I used her finding your mother's diary from her second pregnancy as an excuse to argue with her. I don't want to lose them, Kurt; they are my world. Would you or your dad mind if I named my daughter after your mom? Ha, God, I just realized I'm going to name my second daughter after another song, Sarah Beth."

Kurt chuckles as he says, "Another Beth. Huh? God, I am glad I have Blaine now and that you are straight. Ha, and we both know you'll be worse than my dad. Quinn showed me your gun closet before her stroke, and I wonder if Dad knows you named a gun after my mom too."

Then they heard Burt say, "I do now, son."

Before he says to Noah, "Your best friend is yelling at Beth again for Quinn."

Before long, he takes them back to Quinn's room, and they hear Liza Marie say, "Queenie loves and misses you every day, Aunt Beff!" Then they watch Beth walk out crying before Liza Marie runs after her, followed by Blaine.

Soon they heard Blaine yell, "She is my daughter, Beth, not Kurt's, and she loves your parents more than you! She looks up to Quinn and thinks Puck is the Hulk! How can you do this to Quinn and Liza Marie?"

There was a pause, then Blaine yells, "How can you say that? You better be glad Puck didn't hear that!"

Then Liza Marie screams, "That was mean, Beff, Queenie will not die, and you are a fucking bitch! I hate you! I hope you never come back!"

When they return, Liza Marie is still crying, and Noah tells her, "You're right, Squirt. Aunt Quinn will live."

Then he puts her on Quinn's lap, and she says to the baby bump, "Sarah Elizabeth Puckerman, you have the best mama in the world and the greatest dad too."

Then she looked at Noah and said, "Aunt Sarah followed you and told Queenie, what you said to Dada. Queenie is okay with it because she wants another Beff too.

Quinn starts to cry and shakes her head as she shakes her finger at her chest. Noah raises her head and kisses her lips before he says, "You are perfect to me. I love you, Quinn."

Then Quinn looks at Burt with a puzzled look on her face. Burt takes her hand and says, "I retired too, and asked someone for a job." Soon Quinn starts having a seizure, and Burt runs to get a doctor.

When Quinn was stable, Burt returned and said, "Sorry if I upset you, Quinn."

Quinn uses a laptop to talk and says, "You better leave Liza Marie and Sarah Beth alone! Puck is like you already; I don't want to be like Kurt's mom! Go!"

Then Quinn gets red in the face before screaming, "Go!"

Although it sounded more like a roar to Burt, who leaves the room and hears the laptop's voice say, "I'm not her, goddamn it!" Burt stayed away from Quinn after that.

The next day, Burt and Noah were working on a truck when Noah said, "I was outside Quinn's room when you talked to her after the seizure. She was still upset that night and kept asking for Kurt. He is with her now, and he texted me earlier saying that Quinn wants to see you and Mrs. A. alone." Then they hear Nancy Abrams clear her throat. As they look up to see Nancy with her hands on her hips.

Then she says, "I just saw Quinn, and she told me she was afraid of you being more like your dad than being like Burt there. Did you know that Artie's dad left me after his accident, Puck?"

Then Noah gets in Nancy's face and yells, "Mrs. A, I'll tell you like I told Quinn! I'm not leaving her or my daughter! I changed my whole life for her, Mrs. A! I'm not a heartless dick like my dad, and I'm not that guy I was in high school! Okay? You don't think I hear what everybody is saying about me, Mrs. A? My friends are comparing me to Mr. H, while people around town are saying I'm just like my dad, and I will leave Quinn when the pressure starts getting to me! Well, I can tell you right now! It has already gotten to me, and I have thought about leaving! But I stayed because my love for Quinn is stronger than the urge to leave! Now, you can tell everybody in this goddamn town that they can kiss my ass!"

Nancy sees Burt trying to stifle his laughter as she says, "Okay, Uncle Hulk. I was there when Liza Marie was chased on her birthday. I was about to help when you stopped."

Then she whispered in his ear, "Stop worrying, if you keep worrying. You'll give yourself a heart attack." lightly hitting his arm as she left.

Noah sees that Burt is the only one working before he yells, "Get back to work, guys! You think Mr. H is the only one that can get that mad!"

Then he storms into his office, and one of the guys says to Burt, "I'm glad Puck is straight, and Kurt has Blaine. I swear, Puck is just like you, Burt." Burt says nothing and chuckles as he continues to work.

The next day, Artie shared a video on Facebook that Nancy made of Noah yelling at her and scaring off Liza Marie's bullies, but he hears the intro to The Incredible Hulk TV series. When Noah saw it, he shared it on his page with the message, "Thanks, Mrs. A., I needed that. Liza Marie will love it when she sees it. LOL, Kurt, do you have any videos of your dad yelling at me or the guys on the football team? Just kidding, but we both know your dad had a temper too."

Burt replies to the post, saying, "I'm with Quinn, Puck, and I showed her the post. She almost choked on her breakfast laughing. I'll be a little late today, boss."

Noah replies, "I'm having Rodney open the shop today. I'm not missing out on my girls coming home, and I bought Mrs. A's van from her. Ha, we made a trade: my truck for her van. She doesn't even want the muffler fixed. Hey Artie, what do you think about that?"

Artie replies, "She wanted your truck for a while, man. And people have said things about both of you for years. If you know what I mean?"

Then Noah posts on Facebook, "Hey everybody, I had a legit pool cleaning business in high school, and my dad beat me up! I never slept with Shelby! Or Mrs. A, either! I will never leave Quinn, and I'm nothing like my dad! Did you think the rumors in high school were true? If they were, Sarah would have been taken from my mom, and I would have been put in jail for being a gigolo! God, you are all morons!"

When Sarah Beth was a month old, Noah and Quinn had a fight, and she ended up in a coma. As Noah held her hand, Burt came in with Noah's guitar, and Kurt came in behind him with song sheets. Then Burt says, "I heard this song on the way here and asked Kurt if he had the song sheets."

As Nancy walked in with Tina and Artie, Noah said, "I know this song by heart, Mr. H. I'd sung it to Quinn twice before Sarah Beth was born." Then he took his guitar and sat by Quinn as the others came in quietly, as he sang, "I Won't Give Up." by Jason Mraz.

Then Noah says, as he keeps his eyes on Quinn, "Rachel, Mrs. A, and Mr. H can stay. The rest of you can go to hell! I know you are the reason those rumors started." The others left, but Santana, Artie, and Tina stayed for about ten minutes, then left.

Rachel was holding Sarah Beth and sitting on the other side of Quinn as Nancy walked out. Then Nancy is heard yelling, "I'm ashamed of you guys! You didn't act this way when Rachel lost Finn! Why would you hurt Puck like that or add me to those rumors?"

Artie was about to say something when Nancy cut him off and said, "Do you not remember your comment on Facebook, son? Go, all of you! Carole, you can go, too! I heard you tell Rachel that Puck brought this on himself for his past! Correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't Burt have the same past?"

As Nancy entered, Rachel said, "Mr. H, don't worry, I yelled at her too, and Puck, I yelled at the others. After Tina told me the truth and tried to apologize." Then Rachel hands Sarah Beth to Nancy, while Sarah cries as she yells at the others.

When Rachel shuts the door, she yells, "Puck is Finn's best friend and Quinn's husband! Do you think they would be happy about the things you guys have been saying?"

Santana is about to speak when Rachel yells, "I have been more of a friend to them than you have, Santana! That is your best friend in that bed, and she could die! You and I know you weren't helping them because you are friends! You were helping out of guilt! Liza Marie was the one who told Puck the truth because she was his best friend! She is not here because she didn't want to cry in front of Puck! Now, will you all please leave?" Soon, Rachel stormed back in and sat beside Quinn as Nancy handed Sarah Beth back to her.

An hour later, Liza Marie enters and says, "Papa Blaine is with Sarah. She is still mad at the others and is in the ICU because she can't breathe. Uncle Sam brought me here and wants to talk to Uncle Hulk outside."

Then Noah went to talk to Sam, and they heard him yell, "Man, look at where I'm at! Does it look like I'm ditching Quinn or Sarah Beth? That is my girl in there, and I'm not giving up on her!"

Soon something hits the wall before Noah screams, "Quinn will not die like Kurt's mom! Do you hear me? Go! Get the hell out of here!" Then Noah stormed back in and looked out the window as Liza Marie takes Noah's hand and sings "Once Upon A Dream" to Quinn.

As the song ends, Kurt walks in with Blaine. Noah was still looking out the window as he said, "Kurt, I get it now. I get why you're an atheist. God took the one person who accepted you for you and broke your dad's heart."

Noah soon looks at Quinn as he says, "I don't want Sarah Beth to be without a mom, Kurt."

Noah leans down to kiss Quinn before looking at Liza Marie as he says to Kurt, "I'm not the Hulk, and I'm not your dad, Kurt."

He looks back at Quinn as he says, "I'm her prince, and I'm not giving up on her."

Liza Marie looks towards Quinn as she says, "So you don't turn green when you're mad or have a haircut like Bruce Banner." She soon stands in the chair by Quinn's bed and puts her hand on Noah's chest.

Then continues, saying, "But you're strong in here, and you are willing to fight to keep Queenie alive. Don't tell me you're not Uncle Hulk! Because you are Uncle Hulk to me! Yeah, I had a crush on you. But I got over it, and I know Queenie is your person! Now, stop crying and show everybody that you are Uncle Hulk!"

Noah then grabs his guitar as he looks at Quinn and has Liza Marie move. Soon he says, "Mr. H, I don't know if you have heard this song before, but my Nana would sing it to Sarah to get her to sleep as a baby sometimes." He soon started playing "Love Me Tender" by Elvis Presley, as he is focused only on Quinn. Then some of the hospital staff come in recording the moment on their phones.

Noah's voice cracks at the end, then Liza Marie takes his guitar before giving it to Burt and gets on Noah's lap to hug him as he breaks down crying. Burt soon had the others go outside and squeeze Noah's shoulder before he sat on the other side of Quinn. Then Liza Marie asks, "Grandpa Burt, do I hurt your heart when I mention Nana Beth? She was never really my nana, but Dada Kurt has talked about her since Queenie got worse. Did you know he stopped talking to the others last week? Because they were comparing Sarah Beth to him." Then, Noah has Liza Marie get up before he storms out.

Fifteen minutes later, Rachel walks in holding Sarah Beth as Kurt calls Burt, and the moment he answers it, He soon hears Noah yell, "You can say all you want about me, but comparing my daughter to Kurt is where I draw the line! Quinn will live, goddamn it, and I don't want to hear that shit again! I wonder how many friends Mr. H lost after he lost Kurt's mom!"

Then Kurt says, "The guys at the shop were the only friends he had left after mom died, Puck."

He soon yells at the others, "I'm glad you guys didn't talk like this behind Rachel's back when Finn died. Puck has changed so much! Before Liza Marie was born, we could barely stand each other. Blaine and I have been better friends with Puck than any of you! We all know Quinn is a fighter, and I doubt she wants to know that her so-called friends don't believe she will live."

Soon the call ends, and Rachel looks at Quinn as she says to Burt, "Mrs. H is with Sarah and Puck's mom in the room across the hall; Sarah had a heart attack due to stress." Burt says nothing as he looks at Quinn.

Noah only let Norah, Sarah, Burt, Rachel, Kurt, Liza Marie, Blaine, Carole, or Nancy come to see Quinn after Sarah got released from the hospital. One day, Kurt got struck in the head by a book. As he picked up the book. He noticed it was Liza Marie's Sleeping Beauty storybook. Kurt sits on the other side of Quinn's hospital bed as Noah says, "Beth finally apologized after your dad yelled at her when Sarah had her heart attack. I found that book an hour ago and couldn't get past the first page without looking at Quinn. I made you and Blaine, Sarah Beth's godparents. I don't know if Quinn will live, but I get how, Rachel, your dad, or Mrs. H felt. Look, I know you have better things to do than stay here and watch me go through the same thing your dad did."

Kurt looks at Quinn as he says, "After you bought the shop, Quinn didn't talk to me for a month. I came to see her the day she had her stroke, and Liza Marie came with me. Quinn called her Beth for days during her first week in the hospital. When she got home, she asked me about my mom until Dad and Carole started visiting you. Dad planned to step down before Liza Marie's birthday. Then, when Quinn returned to the hospital, I found Dad at Mom's grave, but he was looking up at the sky, yelling at God to let Quinn live. I haven't told Quinn or the others about you coming to my mom's grave or that you were there to see her on Liza Marie's birthday. Mrs. A saw you there and followed you to the park."

Noah then says, "Yeah, I was there to yell at her. I stupidly blamed your mom for Quinn's stroke and was about to scream at her grave. Then it dawned on me that God had the power to do it, not your mom. So, I walked to her grave to yell at God because I didn't want to go to the synagogue to scream at him. You better hope Quinn lives so Sarah Beth doesn't try to do what you did."

Kurt lightly hits Noah and remarks, "I'd be more worried about her doing what Quinn did, Puck." Noah said nothing as Burt entered with Liza Marie, who was asleep.

Burt looked at Quinn as he explained, "Liza Marie wanted to see Nono's Sleeping Beauty and wouldn't back down until I brought her here."

Noah takes Liza Marie from Burt and tells Kurt, "Kurt, I need to talk to your dad. Could you give us some time alone? I have some questions I'm sure you don't want to hear, okay?" Kurt looks at Liza Marie but says nothing as he leaves.

Noah looks at Liza Marie as he asks, "Mr. H, did you ever have days you couldn't take being without Elizabeth?"

Burt looks at Quinn as he replies, "Yes, Puck, but I'll tell you like you told Quinn. You are not me, and Quinn is not Elizabeth."

Noah keeps his eyes on Liza Marie as he yells, "Look at where I am, Mr. H! I don't know how you got through a day at work when Elizabeth was in the hospital! I yell at the guys to keep from trashing out the shop! Coming here doesn't help because all I want to do is scream at Quinn to wake up!"

Noah's yelling wakes Liza Marie, and she slaps him. Before getting up and yelling, "Nono, that is your princess in that bed! You can do this! You are Uncle Hulk, remember? You have to show them how strong you are! Keep holding on, Nono!" Kurt returns and hands Noah his guitar, that was resting against Quinn's bed. Noah wipes his tears away and looks at Quinn while singing Keep Holding On by Avril Lavigne.

Then Noah kisses Quinn's lips and whispers, "Wake up, Quinn!" Quinn didn't move, but Noah felt better after singing the song.

The next day, Noah woke up to Liza Marie yelling, "I knew you would wake up!"

Quinn looks at Liza Marie confused and says, "Beff?"

Then Rachel comes in, and Quinn asks, "Where's Finn?"

Beth soon walked into the room, and no one answered her. Quinn looked at Liza Marie and then back at Beth before looking at Kurt and asking, "Is Finn dead?" Kurt nods his head but says nothing.

Quinn then looks at Liza Marie and says, "Mr. H, stay; others go," as Burt comes in holding Sarah Beth.

But when Kurt tries to take Liza Marie, Quinn says, "No, she stays."

Quinn looks at Liza Marie as the others leave and says, "Watch Nono like a hawk. I know I could get better. Just do this for me, Liza." Liza Marie says nothing as she looks at Sarah Beth, trying not to cry.

Quinn then looks at Burt and says, "Listen to anything Nono says and tell him any secrets you have kept. I could get better, but my heart isn't like yours. I'm worse, and we both know that. I've been here too many times and almost died." Quinn soon had Liza Marie lie down with her while Sarah Beth was between them.

Quinn looks at Liza Marie as she says, "Mr. H, go, girl talk."

As soon as Burt leaves the room, Quinn says, "Keep Beff away from Sarah Beff. I know she's still mad at me. I know you are just a kid, but I don't want Nono here like this. Beth almost hurt Sarah. I don't want her to hurt Nono. I kept a diary for Sarah Beth. I gave it to your papa on your birthday. You're my best friend, not Nono's. So, you better do this for me. Now, sing to Sarah Beth." Liza Marie glares at Quinn before singing Baby Mine from the Dumbo movie to Sarah Beth.

Quinn cries until she falls asleep as Noah returns and takes Sarah Beth from her. Quinn soon woke up to see Burt sitting by her bedside with his arms crossed. Burt looks at Noah, who just returned and says, "Quinn, are you crazy? Why would you scare Liza Marie like that? You are not like Elizabeth, and you will live." Quinn says nothing as she drinks her meal replacement shake.

When she finished her drink, she said, "Mr. H, I know I could live, but look how many times I've been here since I got pregnant. I can only move one arm. I have to wear a diaper. What if Sarah Beth gets teased for having me as a mom? I mean, listen to my voice. I sound like Minnie Mouse!" Burt chuckles, but says nothing as Noah walks in with Sarah Beth.

Then Noah says, "Quinn, do you want me to say what Kurt would tell Mr. H? Besides, you saw how I scared Liza Marie's bullies. Living in a wheelchair will suck, but if Artie can do it, so can you."

Nancy, Artie, and Tina walk in after this before Quinn asks, "Tina, do you regret that Artie can't walk?"

Tina looks at Noah, saying, "Quinn, Puck is still here. Plus, to answer your question, No, I don't. Quinn, I faked a stutter to keep him as a boyfriend. It doesn't compare to you lying about who Beth's dad was, but it still hurt Artie. Look at what Puck has done for you, Quinn. We all thought he would leave you when the pressure got to him. But he didn't. He has shown us how strong he is. You are here, and you are alive now. Show Sarah Beth that you are strong too!"

Quinn glances at the others. Then Blaine walks in, holding Liza Marie, as Kurt walks in behind them, wiping his eyes as he breaks down. Kurt begins to cry as Quinn takes hold of Kurt's hand and says, "Leave us alone." Quinn has Kurt lie down with her, and Kurt begins to sob. Then Noah returns holding Sarah Beth, followed by Santana and Brittany, who saw Kurt and Quinn asleep. Brittany starts to cry, and Santana takes her out of the room. Soon Noah looks at Sarah Beth as he hums.

Quinn asks Noah to take her to Elizabeth Hummel's grave when she is released. Noah didn't want to, but he did it anyway. Noah carried Quinn to the grave at her request, then Quinn looked into the sky and yelled, "Fuck you!" until she cried.

Kurt was there with the guys from the shop and Artie when they got home. Then Noah says, "I finally fixed the house, so you or Artie, don't have to be carried to the bathroom. I know you told me not to, but I want my girl to feel independent and not worry about a thing. Kurt and Santana are taking nursing classes. Kitty is helping Brittany with the Cheerios, and Mrs. H agrees to help with anything. She is shopping right now and will be here soon."

As Noah unhooks Quinn's wheelchair, Quinn says, "Where's Mr. H?"

Burt soon pulls up in his truck with Carole. Burt helps Quinn out of the van as Noah, Artie, and Kurt help with the groceries. Quinn watched Artie the whole time he was there and broke down. Quinn soon wheels herself into the bedroom as Noah follows her. Then she yells, "Look at me! Artie can feel his chest and move both arms! I can only move one hand! I can't spend the rest of my life giving you hand jobs!"

Tina enters and storms into the bedroom, yelling, "Quinn, I haven't had sex since I was with Mike, but you don't hear me complaining about what Artie can't do for me! Puck has been here for you and has changed his whole life! If Puck didn't love you or Sarah Beth, he wouldn't be here now! Puck has called me, asking for my advice since your first stroke!" Then she gets Artie and storms out.
