The New Era

The original gang grow up and become adults, the Neverseen defeated. Or so they thought... They find out that darkness can hide in the most unexpected places, and when they start targeting their kids, it's up to them to fight back with all they have. 1. Chapter 1

A/N: Hi! I'm new to fanfiction, but I'm an author, and I loveee Kotlc so I thought, why not? This is the first chapter of many, so I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 1

Keefe looked up at his beautiful children. Despite the fact that the Elven world despised twins, Keefe loved them. One was a boy, the other was a girl. "Hewo," his son said. The way he said it made him want to strangle him with hugs. "Ok, Keefe," Sophie said, disrupting his thoughts. "We need to decide on names."

"I thought we agreed on Keefe junior and Keefarella?" Keefe asked, jokingly. Sophie hit him on the arm playfully. "We know we aren't going to name them that. How about…" Sophie thought for a moment. "Well, the boy has green eyes, so how about we name him Emerald?" she asked. "That's actually a good idea!" Keefe exclaimed.

"And the girl has purple eyes, so how about Violet?" Sophie was really good at naming kids. Keefe's mind flashed back to the time she had named Silveny's and Greyfell's twin children, Luna and Wynn. "Well, it's settled then. We have Emerald and Violet," she said. Keefe was very pleased with his new children's names. Just then, Elwin walked into the room. "Your friends want to see the kids, who do you want to meet first?" he asked.

"Fitz," Sophie and Keefe said at the same time. Elwin walked back out the door, and a few moments later Fitz came in. Keefe could feel a huge amount of emotion coming from him. Some of it was easy to decipher, like relief and love. But another emotion was stronger than the others. Keefe focused on it. It seemed like… Jealousy? How could he be jealous when he already had a kid? And that's when it hit him. Fitz was jealous because of sophie. Really, after all these years, Keefe thought Fitz would have gotten over him being with Sophie. He also was already married, so the fact that he was jealous… Wasn't Linh enough? She was perfect for him in so many ways, so why would he still want sophie? And if he did, what lengths would he got through to win her over?
