AN (read groveling apology): So, I finally managed to get myself in a headspace to put some work in on making this a fic more fitting to my vision for it. I am deeply sorry to all of you who followed and liked this story and the 9 years it took me to get this new version posted. The original first chapter will remain up, but will always be at the end of the chapter list. I didn't post this sooner, even though Ch.1 was finished months ago, because I was having issues with how I wanted scenes and events to go in the second chapter. There are a LOT of changes, and I may have gotten wrapped up in many of the scenes, making them too long. Now, that I've figured a lot of my plotted events and changes organized, I'm comfortable enough with what I've completed of Ch.2 so far to post this new version of the first chapter.

I appreciate and adore all of the reviews, comments, and follows this fic has gained over the years. Even though the story quality makes me cringe whenever I re-read the original version. With all of that out of the way, please enjoy the revamped version of Ranma-CHAN.
