It was a bright, sunny, day at Kelly's a nice little diner in Port Charles. The beautiful Liz was cleaning up the counter. The lovely Sam McCall enter's to discover Liz working as always she wanted so much to do a ladies night out but Liz didn't think she'd be up to it by the end of the day. So Sam tries to pick another day they both had lost someone that meant something to them Jason Morgan his death was tragic and sad especially for the beautiful Brenda Barrett who knew him. She too enter's Kelly's for some coffee and a little breakfast. Jason's death changed some things especially for the lovely Carly. She did at first blame Liz, and Sam for Jason's tragic end. She however had to come to the realization that nobody could've prevented what happend to him. An extremely handsome guy named Sonny Corinthos enter's Kelly's on the phone with his buddy Antonio Vega who was moving to help Sonny out with a Pizza and Italian Restaurant to be built in Port Charles. They did other things lawn service and janitorial type stuff. Sonny was once a Mob Prince and worked for an evil Mobster named Joseph Sorel. Sonny knew he had to get away from the person he once was not knowing what all Sorel was about. Sonny traded his Mobster lifestyle for a normal one and gave away his riches to the poor. Brenda noticed Sonny and liked what she saw. Sam remembered seeing him at Jason's funeral service.

Sam was surprised to see Sonny still in Port Charles. She had wondered what he was doing at Kelly's. Carly liked him as well but could see that Brenda had her eyes fixated on him. Suddenly a handsome guy named Lorenzo Alcazar enter's Kelly's and happens to join Sonny. Carly found this to be rather interesting she thought to herself this fella is just another Jax or AJ but Lorenzo was a bit different. Another handsome fella named Aidan Devane enter's Kelly's. He knew about Sonny and knew he was no longer a Mobster. Aidan was also good friends with Antonio and Lorenzo he has never met Sonny personally but today was an opportunity.

Lorenzo: Aidan it's sooo good to see you.

Aidan: How was Europe?

Lorenzo: It was good but I had to come to Port Charles to bring new businesses. I understand Jax was in control of that until Sorel kind of destroyed his places of business.

Aidan: Yeah that Sorel was evil wasn't he Sonny.

Sonny: Yeah he was something I would stay but I have to meet Antonio at the train station. Um it was nice meeting you face to face Aidan.

Lorenzo: Perhaps we could work on a business partnership together.

Sonny: Will see I have to go do some lawn work for Jax I don't like him either but he pays well so. I'll see you guys.

Sam: Did you see that Sonny talking to guys like that wow maybe it's because of his friendship with Jason.

Liz: Well let's go save Brenda from herself you can tell she likes Sonny.

Liz and Sam go over to join Brenda as Carly sit's alone unbothered. Lorenzo happens to notice her and she was definitley his type. It was just what he was planning on doing finding his future wife having some businesses and settling down in a house he would have built. However for now he was living in a luxurious penthouse and loving the view.

Sam: Liking Sonny I see.

Brenda: He is so going to be my boyfriend just wait and see.

Liz: Don't rush it Brenda take your time. You just got over a breakup with Jax.

Brenda: I know I care about Jax but this Sonny is so dreamy and...

Sam: You know he worked for Joseph Sorel right.

Brenda: Sonny is a Mobster?

Liz: I understand he was but gave it up infact I think he helped in putting Sorel behind bars.

Lorenzo goes over to introduce himself to Carly as Aidan leaves because he was now part of the PCPD department. Carly was impressed he was very handsome. She however still saw Jax and AJ all over him. So she tries her hardest not to fall for his act. She however was about to learn he was different.

Lorenzo: Is this seat taken.

Carly: No it's not but why would you I'm sure you have better things to do.

Lorenzo: You would think so but um I'd really like to get to know you I'm Lorenzo you are.

Carly: Carly it's nice to meet you but your in for a rude awakening if you are anything like Jax or AJ I'm not interested although the brunette over there Brenda just might think differently considering she's dated or was involved with Jax.

Lorenzo: I actually prefer you I take it you don't like Brenda. You should have female friends.

Carly: Yeah well I'm just not the type.

Lorenzo: Oh I doubt that you should try pursuing a friendship don't you like female friends.

Brenda notices Lorenzo talking to Carly and wondered if it would be best to make friends with Carly. She no longer wanted to have beef with her.

Brenda: Looks like Carly has a boyfriend.

Liz: Yeah so it seems.

Sam: Join Liz and I for a girl's night out.

Brenda: We should invite Carly I know she's not the best of company but things could change.

Liz: Talking about Carly here things don't ever change with her.

In another part of Port Charles Sonny was at Jax's with Antonio taking a break from working on Jax's yard. Luke stop's by to invite Sonny over for dinner and Antonio as well. Sonny accepts Luke's invitation. Sonny and Luke were the best of friends Luke knew about Jason and knew how Sonny viewed him as a friend as well. Jax decides to give Sonny the financial means to get started on his restaurant business. However Jax had to be head of such a place even though Sonny was good at what he does. Jax had to make sure no Mob activity would become of such a place. Sonny has let him know on many occassions it was just a restaurant and nothing more. Jax however was fearing for the town of Port Charles and he had to continue being the main man running the show. Plus he was perfectly picked by Edward Quartermaine and he needed something to get back what Sorel destroyed.
