Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon Crystal, but I do own Etsuko Chiba.

Authoress Note: I know that I shouldn't be writing more stories, but I kind of figured that I've been getting into Anime once again that I should maybe try my hand at writing some Anime/Manga stories. This one is for Sailor Moon Crystal, which I adore, and I'm excited to write this story. I have to admit that I'm curious about how this story is going to go. I know that Mamoru Chiba doesn't have a sibling and this is more of a what-if type. I hope that you guys enjoy this series. It'll be split up into sections of course. This one will be set during the first part of Sailor Moon Crystal during the Black Moon Arch. I can't wait to show you guys what is in store for this story. Without further ado the Prologue. ENJOY!

Prologue

A young woman with red hair shifted in her bed, her brows pinched together as if she was having a nightmare. She gripped her pillow tightly with her right hand, knuckles turning white. A soft whimper left her lips as sweat beaded up on her forehead. "Kun…" A scream left her lips as she shot up in bed. Tears slid down her cheeks as she shakily went running her hand through her hair.

There was a loud rap on the door only to slide open not even a second after the knock. Fast-paced footsteps could be heard on her floor as the person rushed to the bed. A man sunk on the bed next to the red-haired woman. His arms went around her trying to soothe her. He pulled her close to his body. "Etsuko."

"Mamoru…" Etsuko whimpered softly as Mamoru held her even closer, rubbing her back in hopes to calm her down.

Mamoru kissed the top of her head softly in a soothing way. "You had the dream again?"

Etsuko's red eyes met up with his worried blue ones. "Yes." She admitted softly sniffling a little bit.

"That's the third time this week." He said softly knowing that this wasn't a good sign.

Etsuko nodded her head weakly. "It seems like it is every night." She said softly as she wiped the tears that slid down her pale cheeks.

"I had the same dream…"

"About the Silver Crystal?" She asked softly her brows furrowed together in concern.

Mamoru nodded his head. "Yes, I keep hearing a woman telling me to find it."

Etsuko took a shaky breath. "I don't understand what the Silver Crystal could even accomplish…"

"Suko…"

Etsuko looked up at her brother tilting her head to the side. "What?"

"It could help us regain our memories."

She swallowed the lump that formed in her throat. "Moru… I don't know if we would ever find it." She admitted softly. "To regain our memories from our childhood…" She shook her head lightly. "You don't have any memories before you were six… and I don't have any since I was five… I know you want to remember our parents… but is it worth it?"

"Suko, it's worth it. Our memories are ours… we truly need them." He admitted softly. "I want to remember who we were."

Etsuko took a soft breath and nodded her head.

"You should get ready for school."

Etsuko carefully got up off of her bed running her hand through her red hair. "I think the school would be upset if I missed a day of school again from having a rough night."

"I'm sure that the principal from Keio Girls Senior High would understand."

"They didn't last time." She said as she smoothed out the wrinkled black nightgown, she had worn to bed. "You can't miss your classes either."

Mamoru let out a soft hum. "I'm not planning on missing out on school. Just like you."

Etsuko nodded her head. "Let me guess you're going to walk me to class?"

"I was…"

"Moru," She said letting out a sigh and shaking her head lightly. "You don't have to walk me to school. I can get there alright." She looked at him over her shoulder. "You do trust me don't you?"

Mamoru let out a soft breath rubbing the back of his neck. "Promise that you'll be alright walking to class?"

"Moru." She turned to look at him seeing the worried gaze on his face. "I'll be fine brother. I promise."

Mamoru nodded his head. "If you say so, Suko."

Etsuko gave him a small smile. "I promise that I'll be alright. You'll most likely get me from school." She pointed out looking at him her brow quirking a bit. "I know you too well, Moru."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

This is the end of the Prologue. I hope that you guys enjoyed this chapter. I tried my best to do the prologue justice, but we're just starting with the Manga/Anime of Sailor Moon Crystal. I didn't want to dive headfirst into the story just yet. Who do you think Etsuko was dreaming about? I promise that it will be revealed soon. It might take a bit for me to get there, but I promise that it'll be revealed shortly. Please leave a review and let me know what you think of this chapter and I'll try to update next week with the newest chapter. Until next time.
