A/N: After initially posting my first story, I decided to take it down and start all over again as I wasn't happy with the first one. Reading many great AGU Fanfiction it has inspired me to write stories that provide a continuation for the series, with the aim to engage with the readers imagination.
Update: 25/07/22 – Would just like to say many thanks for the kind reviews, I have so many ideas I am working on right now and I will be posting more related stories in the near future. I know where I want to take this and I am excited to be able to share my ideas with my fellow fans. I've wanted to go back on this story to make some tweaks by brushing up on grammatical errors, etc.

Chapter 1
The gang are sitting together in the school cafeteria eating their lunch.
"Are you feeling any better since Rachel broke up with you?" asked Kimi
"I'm well over her now, time's the number one healer as they say" said Tommy
"Very true, Tommy" said Lil
"Yo Chuck, what's tripping your face?" asked Phil
"I have to report to detention yet again after school" said Chuckie
"What did you do this time?" asked Tommy
"I put fake ice cubes into his glass of lemonade, you know the prank ones with the flies in them" said Chuckie
Everyone laughs out loud with amusement except for Chuckie, as he has barely eaten his lunch.
"Well Pangborn didn't take the joke too lightly, let's put it that way" said Chuckie
"Oh Chuckie, always getting yourself into detention" said Tommy
"It's not funny, Tommy!" said Chuckie
Lil noticing there is three kids looking for a table to sit at.
"Look over there guys, I don't recognise their faces" said Lil
"Do any of you recognise that dude with the two girls?" asked Tommy to everyone
"Can't say that I have" said Chuckie
The three new kids notice them and walk over to the table.
"He is kinda cute" said Lil
She dreamingly gazes at the boy wearing all denim, cool shades with a curtain style haircut perfectly slicked.
"Did I hear what I think you said?" asked Kimi
Lil is too distracted, staring at the boy to even take notice that Kimi is speaking to her.
"We can't find a table we feel comfortable sitting at and you guys seem cool, can we join you?" asked the boy
"Sure, that's fine with us" said Tommy
"Alex Kilwolski" said Alex
"Tommy Pickles" said Tommy
They both give each other a firm hand shake sealing an acquaintanceship. Tommy, Lil and Kimi shuffle to the side to make more space for them to sit down.
"These are my two sisters" said Alex
"Hi, I'm Beth. pleased to meet you all" said Beth
Beth has long wavy hair, covering her left eye and facial features Phil is memorised by.
"And this is Allie the baby sister" said Alex
Allie is 11 years old and a Tomboy. Her hair coving both eyes, wearing a black beanie hat, black vest over a white t-shirt, baggy distressed denims with a chain in the pocket.
"Hows it going?" asked Allie
"I'll introduce you three to the rest of us, this is Kimi" said Tommy
"Hello" said Kimi
"Chuckie" said Tommy
"Please to meet your acquaintance" said Chuckie
"Phil and Lil, the twins" said Tommy, "Hi" said Lil ,"Hey" said Phil.
"My brother Dil" said Tommy, "Salutations" said Dil.
"Are you like the leader?" asked Alex
"No, I wouldn't say that we are all equals in this group" said Tommy
"You sure sometimes swagger about like you are one" said Phil
"What did you say?" said Tommy
"That's enough from you two, we don't want the new kids to have a first bad impression of this school" said Dil
"For once your brother actually makes sense" said Kimi
"Shake hands you two and put this silliness behind" said Chuckie
"I'm sorry, Tommy" said Phil
"I'm sorry too, we are lifelong friends. We shouldn't fight like this" said Tommy
"Agreed" said Tommy
"Where you originally from?" asked Lil
"Hillwood, we moved in only yesterday" said Beth
"Never heard of Hillwood" said Phil
"It's a city in the east coast, not the most desirable place to live in to be honest" said Alex
"Is it a rough city?" asked Tommy
"It's dark and gritty place but the people we knew were good too us" said Alex
"I like it better here, I never seen a palm tree in my life before coming to California" said Allie
"We got plenty of them here, nice beaches too" said Kimi
As everyone continues to chat away amongst each other, Dil and Allie talk to each other.
"What you into?" asked Dil, "Trying to look for Aliens or dinosaur fossils and trying to communicate with fish" said Allie.
"No fooling!, I'm into those things too!" said Dil, "I'm not your typical type of girl, I'm a tomboy, I have guys interests but I like being different" said Allie.
"Nothing wrong with standing out of the crowd" said Dil, "Indeed, wouldn't the world be a boring place if we were all carbon copies of each other" said Allie.
"I'll drink to that" said Dil
They both raise their milk cartons to each other.
"I can see there both getting on like a house on fire" said Tommy
"It's safe to say I've found the male version of my sister" said Alex
"Tell me a bit about yourself Alex" asked Lil
"I'm into car restoration, listen to rock music and I play the guitar" said Alex
"That's super cool and I like your shades" said Lil
"Thanks, Lil. My grandparents got them for me as a birthday present" said Alex
After lunch, the gang head outside to enjoy their the rest their recess. Time goes by very quickly and the bell rings for second half of the school day.
"Alex, Beth and Allie do you want to join us for smoothies after school at the Java Lava?" asked Kimi
"Yeah, sounds like a great idea" said Alex
"Our Dad owns the shop and we sometimes help out" said Chuckie
"Our Mom helps run the shop too" said Lil
"Oh wait… I have detention after class… but go on without me" said Chuckie
"We better get to class pronto" said Tommy
Everyone splits up to get to their respective classes, Chuckie knowing he has detention after-school feels no reason to look forward to the end of the school day.
"Detention feels like an eternity" Chuckie thought to himself.
Meanwhile Lil and Alex are in the same class, before they go to class. Lil tells Alex places of interests around town.
"There is a lot of places of interest you might like" said Lil
"Would be nice to get to see more of this town" said Alex
"I could show you around?, there's a nice beach which is only a thirty minute bus ride" said Lil
"Hanging out with a pretty thing like you, now there's an offer that's hard to refuse" said Alex
"Stop it you, your making me blush!" said Lil
Alex writes downs his cell number on a piece of ripped paper.
"I know we will still see each other after school but here is my cell number" said Alex
"Number saved and I added a smily face next to your name" said Lil
"I'm making you smile?" asked Alex grinning.
"Your doing it right now" said Lil
"Alex, I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation but we are going to get detention like my brother unless we make it to class on time" said Kimi
"It's okay, we were just finishing up our conversation" said Alex
"I'll see you after school, remember meet us by the school gate" said Kimi
"Okay Kimi, have a good class" said Alex
"Thanks Alex, I'll try too. If I don't fall asleep that is!" said Kimi
After school
"The school day is finally over, let's get some smoothies!" said Kimi
"Oh wait... Chuckie is still in detention" said Tommy
"We got to bail him out somehow" said Phil
"Look over there, at the teachers car park" said Alex
"Pangborn has got some car trouble by the look of it" said Dil
"My front tyre is deflated… Why didn't I just pay the money for a brand new one at a reputable garage!" said Pangborn as he rants and raves.
He gets more wound up, kicking the tyre out of frustration while trying to figure out why his tyre keeps deflating.
"Yo Mr. P you got some car troubles?" asked Alex
"You must be the new kid, what's your name?" said Pangborn
"My name is Alex" said Alex
"Well Alex, I'm having a bit of car trouble with my front tyre, it keeps deflating every time I fully inflate it" said Pangborn
"My Grandpa taught me out to fix tyres , let me have a look" said Alex
"A twelve year old kid fixing a car, don't make laugh!" said Pangborn
"Do you want this tyre fixed or not?" said Alex
"Okay… Okay… have a look and tell me what your verdict is" said Pangborn
Alex carefully inspects the tyre to find out what the root of the problem is.
"Ah ha found it, there is a small hole" said Alex
"That explains it" said Tommy
"Can anybody get me a hammer and nail?" asked Alex
"There should be some in the janitors closet" said Pangborn
"I'll go and fetch them" said Kimi
"Here is my key, this key opens every door within the school" said Pangborn
"Thanks, I'll get the nail and hammer then" said Kimi
"Who knows what could happen if this key were to fall in the wrong hands" said Pangborn
"Hey Tommy, I got an idea… you thinking what I'm thinking?" asked Phil
"Oh, I know what your thinking" said Tommy
Meanwhile Kimi passing by Chuckie, tries to speak to him without getting caught.
"Hey Chuckie" said Kimi
"Hi Kimi, what are you doing here?" asked Chuckie
"I think Alex has got your ticket out of this joint" said Kimi
"Oh really?" asked Chuckie
"Yeah, hang tight bro" said Kimi
Kimi brings back the nail and hammer and gives it to Alex.
"Can you inflate it again?" asked Alex
Pangborn reinflates the tyre with a tyre pressure machine and then Alex hammers the nail into the tyre, preventing it from deflating again.
"That ought to do it, it's a temporary solution but that should it keep it inflated" said Alex
"You have saved my heinie!" said Pangborn
"Well what can I say, my grandfather was a mechanic. He taught me a few tricks" said Alex
"What can I do to repay you young man?" asked Pangborn
"Can you let Chuckie out of detention?" asked Alex
"Hmm... normally I wouldn't cancel a students detention but in this case I'll make an exception... consider it done!" said Pangborn
He gives Alex a hearty pat on the back, thanking him for fixing his tyre.
"Alright, way to go big brother" said Allie
Beth gives him a high five, a victory the gang can celebrate at the Java Lava, Pangborn heads to the detention room to see Chuckie.
"Finster, your off the hook this time!" said Pangborn
"I am?!" said Chuckie acting surprised.
"Yes you are and you got the new kid Alex to thank" said Pangborn
"I'm free!" said Chuckie
"You can go now and if you pull a stunt like that again, not even your new pal can save you next time" said Pangborn
"Understood..." said Chuckie
"On your way before I change my mind" said Pangborn
"Yes sir" said Chuckie
The rest of the students still stuck in detention give him a threatening stare prompting Chuckie to make a quick escape.
"I best get out of here" said Chuckie, he regroups with the gang all waiting for him outside.
"Alex thank you so much for getting me out of there" said Chuckie
"No problem Chuckie,I would feel bad if we left without you" said Alex
"Smoothies are on me, my treat everyone!" said Chuckie
