One week after Goku landed on earth, he was talking with his grandfather Gohan, talking about KI and KI Control, Gohan decided to actually write a manual to help people be able to train and use KI since this book was initially written as a means to train his new adoptive grandson, in much-needed things.
After months of reading it and following the advice on it, Goku is so impressed that he asked his grandfather to share it with the rest of the world, by publishing it. Grandpa Gohan tells him that they don't have the money to publish the book, to which Goku told him they could sell his armor and the Saiyan pod that he used to get to Earth to Capsule Corp for money to publish the book.
"We do need a person who knows about business and you did say your master had a sister who knows about business, so let's leave the negotiations to a professional, and she can get us a good deal on the sale, she can keep twenty percent of the money as commission."
The next day, they decided to go to Master Roshi's and found out that he was having a little reunion with his former students. As they arrived Gohan introduced his adoptive grandson to Master Roshi, the Ox King, and his family, Chi-Chi and Ki-Ki.
The Ox Queen noticed that Goku has a tail, and she asked if he was a Saiyan, to which he asked how did she know about Saiyans, to which she told him that she was a Saiyan and her twin daughters are half-Saiyan. This surprises Goku, "This is interesting, I think Vegeta will be very interested when he comes to this world." Which makes the Ox Queen very worried.
The Ox Queen looked at Goku and asked him if he and Vegeta were planning to destroy the planet? Goku smiled at her, "No actually I am here to see if this world is a good place for our people to settle, Planet Vegeta apparently was destroyed by a meteor, but both Vegeta and I think it was destroyed by Frieza under the order's of Lord Beerus."
The twin girls decide to stop hiding behind their mother's skirt and see a boy with a tail like them, and Chi-Chi decided to try and grab his tail as he gets weaker and falls face-first on the ground.
Chi-Chi asked her mother why did he fall down? Her mother tells her that she and her sister have been playing around and are used to having their tails grabbed, but apparently, he didn't get used to such a thing. Her mother was trying to get her daughter to let go of Goku's tail but apparently, she kept saying that she didn't want to.
Goku is looking at his grandfather asking him to cut off his tail, to which Gohan told him, he would if he could, but he doesn't have a sword, Goku then told him to use a KI blade, to which again he said it would be too dangerous with Chi-Chi so close, the Ox Queen finally got her daughter to let go of Goku's tail.
Goku rolled into the fetal position holding his tail like he was trying to protect it. Chi-Chi told her mother that she wanted Goku, which made her start crying and this caused her sister to cry too. Goku finally gets up and walks over to her and his tail wraps around hers to try and stop her crying.
Which actually works and her sister stops crying as well. Goku reminded his grandfather that they came here for a reason, "Oh, right, Master Roshi, we would like to ask your sister to negotiate a sale for us, we will be willing to give her twenty percent of the sale as a commission."
The Ox King asked what exactly are they selling? Gohan told him that Goku apparently heard of a company called Capsule Corp and he wanted to sell his armor and space pod to the company that way Gohan would have enough money to publish and sell his brand new book.
A few hours later an elderly woman that was dressed as if she was a witch arrived flying through the air on a crystal ball. After explaining what they wanted, she said that she would be delighted to help. "Twenty percent, agreed, I like you Goku, you never met me before but somehow you know how to motivate me. It will take a few days so you will have to wait but Goku is correct that Capsule Corp would pay top price for such things."
A few days later Baba, Goku, and Grandpa Gohan went to meet with Capsule Corp, the owner, his wife, and their three daughters. A few minutes later the Ox Family showed up since they became sort of curious about the sale, Gohan invited them, as they reached the front yard they saw that the Brief family is quite happy to see them.
Baba introduces everyone, Gohan and his grandson, the Ox Family, and both the Ox Queen and Bikini decide to go to the side and have a little talk. Dr. Brief is actually wondering where is the ship and armor, to which Goku told him it was in his inventory, what does he mean by that the Doctor asked?
"Well, I have something that pretty much lets me store anything I want in a sort of pocket dimension." Doctor Brief said that sounded kind of like the capsules he invented. Goku tells him technically yes. Bikini and the Ox Queen apparently are laughing about something as they return to them.
"So this is little Goku, hi, I am Bikini, the young lady near you is my daughter Tights, and behind me are my twins, Bulma, and Leggings. I am honestly happy to see another Saiyan, there are apparently so few of us left."
Goku smiles and she tells him not to worry, her girls know better than to grab a boy's tail. Which immediately makes Goku blush and hold his tail. The Ox Queen smiles as she tells her, "See, just as cute as I told you, isn't he?" Bikini said that he was so adorable, so she could just eat him up.
As they got to know each other, and apparently Tights was curious about what else did Goku know about when they heard something crash land near their property. It was a spaceship but nothing wasn't like any spaceship they have seen before or like the pods they used to land on Earth. A small blue-skinned person came up to Doctor Brief.
"Excuse me, sir, my name is Jaco, and I am a galactic patrolman, as you can see my ship is a little banged up and according to our database, you are the nearest person able to repair it. Which is kind of convenient since I was sent to capture a dangerous criminal that supposedly is the only Saiyan on Earth."
"He is apparently a male Saiyan who is apparently three to four years old, I would appreciate your assistance." That is when he saw Goku and Goku saw him and they both freaked out. "By the authority of the Galactic Patrol, you are under arrest." Goku ran to hide behind his grandfather.
"I did nothing wrong, leave me alone you idiot." Jaco tells him he was told to arrest him for trying to conquer Earth, "I am not here to conquer anything, I was sent here to save my life because my parents thought something bad would happen." Goku begins to cry, "and my parents told me if nothing bad happened they would come to get me, but our planet is gone and they are dead." Goku now starts to cry louder and louder.
"And you are nowhere trying to take me away from my grandpa, that adopted me." Jaco begins to try and get Goku to calm down and tells him well, if he is innocent he could get him into the Galactic Patrol. He tried to grab Goku by moving so fast he disappeared and when he was about to grab him, he found himself standing before three upset women.
He asked them how did they move as fast as he did since humans' power level on average should be three hundred. They looked at him and the hairs on their tails are bristling. "How? We three are adult Saiyans." Jaco couldn't believe this he was told that the boy would be alone and he was the only Saiyan on the planet.
"Wait, you mean there are more Saiyans, and you two have blonde hair, that is odd, Pure blooded Saiyans have black hair and black eyes, are you hybrids?" Bikini tells him that her daughters are but she is pure-blooded, then tells him that what he is seeing is what Frieza fears the most, and asks him if he heard the Legend of the Super Saiyan?
"Oh, that is just a myth, ridiculous like there is an actual feline god of destruction." Goku tells him to be careful, "You don't want to talk about Lord Beerus like that, he tends to get rather upset, and if he is upset, your ass is grass." Out of nowhere a blue man wearing robes appeared, and he walked over to Goku, "Goku, so nice to see you again, I am here for the food you promised."
Goku asked Whis if Lord Beerus was asleep yet, the man tells him he is actually waiting for the food, he will sleep after he eats it and gets ready for bed. Goku pulls something out of thin air and gives the box to Whis, "Ok, here is your pizza, send my regards to Lord Beerus hope he likes it." The man smiles, and tells him he will and he disappears.
They all asked Goku "Who was that?" he looked at them as he smiles, "Oh that was Whis, he is the attendant angel of Lord Beerus and the big brother of that guy's boss." He was pointing at Jaco. "I sort of have an arrangement as long as we give him something good to eat, the planet Earth is pretty much safe."
Doctor Brief begins to laugh and says that actually if the only thing that cost them was a pizza that is dirt cheap. Goku said No, it depends on what he wants to eat and it is every single time he shows up on Earth, for Kami's sake don't feed him Hawaiian Pizza. Jaco didn't know what was going on anymore, he did know his ship needed repairs but that was about it.
So Jaco went to see his ship when he saw a little girl with blue hair and a blue tail messing around with it, he was about to scream that she shouldn't touch things like that when the ship took off with another girl with a purple-haired girl driving the ship as they flew a circle around their home and landed.
Jaco asked what was that? Bikini told him that their daughters were just done repairing his ship and needed to do a test flight. The two girls get off the ship and they see Goku and ask their mother if they can experiment on him? Chi-Chi immediately goes in front of Goku and screams, "No, he is mine." To which the two mothers begin to laugh and mention that they remember when they were young innocent like that.
"Well this was a lot of things but can we please get back to the sale, I am a busy witch I don't have a lot of time to waste." They finally got the ship and armor Baba finished negotiating for the sale, they get 40% percent for each ship, and each piece of clothing and armor that is made, plus two hundred million Zenni.
Baba was very happy with all the money and now she has a steady income. As this was done grandpa Gohan and Goku go to a publisher and pay to have their book published, asked his grandfather to enter into the next World Martial Art tournament to promote the book. The publisher liked the idea and it would help immensely with the sales, lucky the tournament was happening that year on Papaya Island.
Master Roshi was not expected to enter but it was a major shock that his student Gohan would enter, which made Shen curse saying that if he knew, he could have gotten his brother to enter the tournament and crush the Turtle House, in the end, Son Gohan won the tournament and it was made public that he has published a book about how to train to use KI, which got the attention of many people since it is the highest form of martial arts that he claims to know.
Surprisingly enough every single book was bought in a year, and a million copies were sold, but the max number the publisher estimated that would ever be sold is fifty-two million, one out of two hundred and fifty people would come to own one of these books.
Thirteen years at the twenty-third martial arts tournament Goku finally returns to meet with his friends, Yamcha is still the same as ever, Bulma, and Leggings were his constant helpers in their adventures in their childhood, sadly even though he wished for his grandpa to have his youth again, he died trying to seal King Piccolo in the end.
His grandfather said that he met a woman in the spirit world and he was happily married. His friends were shocked after they saw how much taller he has become, everyone was much stronger than he remembers. Chi-chi asked him if he remembers her, to which with his tail wrapped around his waist said, "Why wouldn't I remember one of the women I am engaged to marry?"
Goku looked at his friends and said, "You and Leggings have become quite beautiful since last I saw you, just like Chi-Chi and her sister, I have a good friend that is coming to participate in the martial arts tournament, I met him a year ago while I was training with Kami. My friend should be arriving soon, I think you guys are going to like him, he is sort of a cool guy in my opinion."
Goku looked at Bulma and smiled, "He is very excited to meet you Bulma, I told him a lot of wonderful things about you." Bulma said that it was at least good timing since she dumped Yamcha for constantly cheating on her with other girls, she mentions that thanks to a lot of people learning to use KI he was able to become quite the successful baseball player.
Oolong went back to school and managed to become a Master in using transformations, and he and Puar finally buried their old resentments and admitted that they were nasty to each other, because they have feelings for each other, and during a particularly nasty fight they ended kissing and they finally admitted their feelings for each other and became a couple. Goku said, "Aren't they both boys?" Bulma said that Puar was actually female.
They are currently dating, and they seem happier for it. They signed in for the tournament, and they met a young man that looked like he was the son of King Piccolo. As Goku asked the person handing the papers if a person named Vegeta signed in? She tells him yes, he did an hour ago, he signs his name and tells the others he needs to find his friend.
Before he went to look for his friend, he asked her if a person named Upa signed in, and again she told him that he signed at the time Vegeta signed in. He thanked her, as he left the desk he decided to look for his friend, and he was in the waiting area where the other competitors were, as was the green-skinned man, "Vegeta, I see you are here with Upa, how you been buddy?"
Upa looked at Goku, "I am great Goku thanks for the book, because of it my dad and my family are doing a lot better now. I got strong enough to come and compete at the tournament." He tells him that he is impressed with his power of two hundred and eighty.
Vegeta was apparently talking with the green-skinned man, apparently, this green-skinned man was trying to figure out who Vegeta was and trying to avoid Goku as much as possible. Vegeta asked the green man if he knew what he really was? To which the green man said demon which made Vegeta laugh.
"You are far from being a demon, you are an alien from the planet Namek, you are a Namekian. I happen to know where your planet is located, should you ever want to go and visit it, it is quite a lovely place."
Through the mental link, Kami heard everything and he was shocked to hear that his people still survived after the terrible storm that supposedly had killed everyone. Vegeta said that it was kind of sad to see how weak he was compared to the other Namekians, considering that the average Namekian has a power level near the three thousand level range, Goku then tells him.
"The dragon clan are Namekians who are efficient in combat but are not the warriors of the race, but warrior clan can reach up to nine thousand to ten thousand in power for the average warrior Namekian, and there are elites who are forty-two thousand to six hundred thousand power level that was before the crisis happened."
How do you know this? Piccolo asked and Goku said "The room of spirit and time creates a dream world of the past, present, and future, I went back in time to meet the ancient Namekians, even Vegeta met them. King Piccolo and his kids, we're really not much of a threat compared to them, and they were, for the most part, peaceful and they had incredible power levels. You are kind of lame!"
Piccolo gets angry, "Just you wait Goku, I will show you who is lame. I had enough." As he walks away from him.
Vegeta looked at him, "That was cold even for me, why did you have to do something do like that." Goku told him because he wanted Piccolo to see that he is not that different from Goku, since he was considered quite pathetic back on Planet Vegeta, and once he beats him in the tournament he will explain this, to motivate him to reach higher levels than before.
Vegeta simply said that this doesn't make it alright, Vegeta would have him go to the planet where his people are and learn from them, but no, Goku had to rub salt in the wound. As he realized that other people were not listening, "But really Vegeta how did convenience Frieza to let you off?"
Vegeta looked at him and became rather quiet for a second, "Well first he was rather happy that at long last I was claiming my vacation days, and then I decided to sweeten the deal by offering him some wine, some steaks, some milk, and tasty shellfish. So I was allowed to go on vacation as long as I brought the food back with me."
Goku decided to ask how long is that vacation? Vegeta told that once every year he could come back for one month. "So what will you be doing this month?" Vegeta tells Goku that he needs to introduce him to Bulma, and he will spend time getting to know her better and buy groceries from the best place possible.
As they were talking who just happens to come by? Goku's little buddy Krillin, "Honestly Kakarot why do you call him little if he is almost the same height as I am?" That is actually something that made Krillin look at Vegeta and ask, "Why did you call Goku, Kakarot?" Vegeta told him not to worry about it, he will find out when he actually needs to."
"So who are you up against?" Krillin tells him that it was another fight with Chiaotzu, at least he doesn't need to fight Yajirobe, he is shocked that nobody can tell who he really is even wearing that mask, which even Goku found funny.
They each fought in the preliminaries, with Upa having lost against Goku, Ranfan having lost against Chi-Chi, Krillin having won against Chiaotzu, Vegeta winning against King Champa, Yajirobe losing against Tao, Tien winning against, Hercule Satan, Piccolo won against Nam, Yamcha won against Panputto.
As these came to end they took some time to wait for the next area to be ready, while they wait Chi-Chi spent most of the time either talking with Goku or holding his hand, while their tails intertwined. Finally, Krillin asked what the deal about the tails doing that, Vegeta told him a public display of affection, it's a mating thing.
It is a sign that they have accepted each other, and will eventually mate in the future, Krillin was in tears for some odd reason, "That is so beautiful, I hope I am like Goku." Vegeta asked him does he like tough, no-nonsense blonde girls? Krillin said that is kind of specific and said that he wouldn't mind, but asked why did he ask?
Vegeta told him that he sort of saw the future, and he told him that he was particularly happy with this lady, and they end up having this simply adorable little girl together. Goku asked Vegeta why did he tell Krillin that Vegeta said that he simply wanted him to know to give him something to look forward to. "I do try to be nice, unlike someone I know." Goku flat outglared at him and told him, "Bite me."
They had to get to another area where the main competition would happen, there were crowds of people sitting in stands around the arena, and there was a man who needed no introduction for he was the referee of every single world martial arts tournament, he practically dedicated his life to it.
"Welcome everyone the preliminary matches have ended, and our competitors have been chosen, with this I like to say that the 23rd world martial tournament is truly about to begin, remember the rules, no weapons, no killing, and if you are knocked out or get sent out the arena you will lose, let's have a clean fight."
The first match was Piccolo or Ma Junior against Tao, with Tao beginning the fight using long-range KI blasts, and he basically spammed his second most powerful technique, Dodon Ray, to Piccolo it looked sort of boring, he evaded every single blast and when he finally got the chance he did a low kick that tripped him and hits him hard enough to send him out of the ring. Tao got pissed, and uses his ultimate attack, "Super Dodon Wave."
Piccolo laughs sensing how low the power was and hits it up into the sky. Master Roshi appears out of the crowd and used Kamehameha Wave against Tao and he was sent flying due to the blast. After the arena was repaired the next fight would begin between Goku and Chi-Chi, the fight was particularly passionate, as Chi-Chi clearly wanted him to notice how strong she was, and Goku simply evaded every attack for ten minutes.
"I am impressed Chi-chi, a power level of three hundred, but I am a sorry sweetheart but this fight is over." She looks at him, and pretty much gives him the look of giving me your best shot, and pulling back his hand and with a punch forward he caused a wind to send Chi-Chi out of the arena and hitting a wall and falling out of bounds.
"That is strange that last attack reminded me of something my family could do." Piccolo said having watched the fight intently, After he was declared the winner went over to where Chi-Chi was, and helped her up, kissing her on the lips, "You are even stronger than what I remember, I can't wait to see how strong our kids will be." Causing Goku to blush as she said that.
The next match was announced to be Tien Shinhan against Yamcha, the fight was closed and in the end, it was Tien who won the fight after he used an attack to blind him, and knocked him out of the arena, it was an epic battle as their KI attacks cancel each other, and it was only thanks to that Solar Flare that Tien won.
The arena had to be repaired again but luckily there was a weird old man in a cloak that kept repairing the arena, no one knew who he was except for Goku and Vegeta, it was Kami, Goku and Vegeta knew thanks to the training they received and watching Kami repair the area like it was nothing.
Vegeta went to the arena and Krillin fought with everything he had, but Vegeta held back, only blocking and sending Krillin's attack back at him, he send KI blast but only to nullify the attacks headed his way, and then disappeared for a second and punched him so hard that he was sent flying out of bounds, but the last second Krillin managed to land on the border of the platform and ran towards him to attack him once again, and he didn't realize that it was an afterimage the person he attacked before feeling a kick that caused him to fall out of bounds.
Piccolo and Goku fought as many expected but the real shock was when Piccolo used a technique to grow the size of a giant, and when he wasn't big enough he grew to barely fit into the ring and Goku was constantly mockingly attacking him, for some reason every blow that was strong enough for Piccolo to defeat him, nothing happened and the only response was Goku's smirk.
Vegeta smirks, thinking it was pretty funny how Goku is using the wrathful form, just to block attacks and turn it off so fast that not even the annoying robots in the arena that Gero was using could detect it. Goku decided to hit him hard enough to knock him out, shrinking back down to normal size. Bruised and beaten, he asked why didn't he kill him?
"There are several reasons, the first reason is you are not as evil as your father, the second reason you will make a great rival, the third is I would end up killing Kami and you know what that means, and finally I don't want to be disqualified. So how about it, get stronger, and maybe we can have a rematch later?"
Piccolo begins to laugh, and everyone is wondering why is he laughing so hard, when Goku decided to shock Kami by giving Piccolo a Senzu bean, "We are not so different you and I, back in my world, I was the weakest, if I can becoming this strong, there is no reason why you can't do the same. You now know who your people are and how powerful they are, you know now how to be and that you have plenty of room to grow, so come on Piccolo, I might even help you if you ask nicely."
Vegeta against Tien Shinhan was the next fight and after ten minutes of showing his multi-form, he knew that it divides the power of the person by the number of copies he makes, but he decided to use this against him and after he won, he walked over, "I know the weaknesses of that form, but also know of a technique that could help you. It is fusing two people together and makes the fused person many times stronger, but it is only temporary."
Tien smiles and asks him to teach it to him, Vegeta tells him that sadly he can't, because he simply doesn't have enough time, and it is too embarrassing. As the fight ends Vegeta helped Tien up in the spirit of sportsmanship.
The final fight between Goku and Vegeta was about to begin, and their fight ends after fifteen minutes, they were fighting each other with such powerful punches and kicks that made the audience speechless, and as the last attacks were about to connect Goku's punches Vegeta and as they are sent to opposite sides of the arena, Vegeta is sent out of bounds and Goku is sent up in the air.
Goku is declared the winner by ring out and he ate a Senzu bean, he gave one to Vegeta, "You are lucky that I was holding back, but you are going to pay for that cheap shot. By paying for my groceries considering you won all that money." Bulma runs into the arena as she slaps away the guard that tried to stop her and just hugs Vegeta right where he is. "Bulma, this is Vegeta, the prince of our kind, and the guy I told you I would introduce you to."
After the tournament was over Hercule Satan is feeling disappointed he never managed to get justice for his master who was killed by Tao, but as he was about to get in his car he saw two people dressed in cloaks walk over to him, one was a woman and the other a tall man, "Hercule Satan, we been waiting for you, we have come to give you something to help you punish the man who murdered your master. This book."
She handed him the book and he immediately knew that he has seen something like it before, He asked if this wasn't the book written by Son Gohan? She laughed and said technically it was, but this one is an improved version that the book he held is more focused on the science of KI.
Hercule going through the book just looking it over asked them why would they help him? What was their real reason for doing this, "We desire Justice my brother was killed himself, by someone you will eventually meet." As he began to read the book they simply disappeared as if they had never been there at all.
In the time nest the Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa, could not figure out what was wrong with the current timeline she was looking at, there were too many changes, but they didn't seem changes that were disruptive, in fact, if anything they improve the situation around them. "Is Fuu messing around with the timelines again? Well, there is nothing we can do about this, the two Xenos did mention to let this happen. I guess I will just keep an eye on it for now."
She licked her lips as she saw an image of Goku, and puts the scroll down as Chronoa in her adult form walked away, "A cross-over timeline, very interesting."
