Was It My Choice?
"Rin"
"Rin!" Kaede said, trying to get the girl's attention.
"I am sorry Lady Kaede I must of been day dreaming" Rin said with her usual smile and chuckle.
"Aye girl, ye must keep ye focus. Otherwise ye will ruin thee herbs, what has ye so deep in thought?" Rin knew exactly what was on her mind.
It has been 3 year's since she has came to live in the village with Lady Kaede. She has not seen her Lord Sesshomaru in 3 year's. Ever since she was forced to live in this human village.
"How is this for the best my lord?" Rin said to herself as she stared into the bright blue feathery sky.
"How was this my choice? My choosing? When it was a choice made by another?" Rin mumbled to herself.
"Rin, what is on ye mind?"
"I miss him Kaede." Rin trying everything in her power to not shed any tears.
The pain of not seeing him, ate away at her 17 year old heart. She was not a young girl anymore. Rin understood the feelings of love and emotions.
She had watched Inuyasha and Kagome re-unite and fall in love with each other all over again. She also watched Miroku and Sango start a family together. Rin was not blind when it came to understanding the love for another being.
"It has been 3 year's today that I have been in this village, and Lord Sesshomaru has not come to visit me once." Rin said with a sigh.
The closest thing I have to my Lord now, is the kimono's that were delivered for me that came from him, but yet he has chosen to not see me. He must really hate me for what I said to him 3 year's ago, Rin thought to herself.
"Ah Rin I am sure he has his reason's as to why he cannot visit ye. Remember he is patrolling the western land's. Ever since Naraku has perished from this world, demon's have come out of hiding so he must protect his land's from those vermin's." Kaede said to try to help comfort Rin.
Surprisingly, Kaede wondered as well, why the demon has not come to visit with Rin.
"That heartbreaking, last farewell between thee both of them made this old lady shed a tear."Kaede thought to herself.
Kaede reminisced back to that night 3 year's ago. Three day's after Naraku was defeated and Inuyasha came back through the bone eater's well alone, without Kagome.
"Ah Sesshomaru may I have a word with ye in private?" Kaede asked Sesshomaru quietly.
Rin and Jaken were being nosey about the return of Inuyasha alone, without Kagome. Rin had a lot of question's concerning Kagome, as Kagome was a dear friend to her. Rin was extremely worried sick and her heart sank to her stomach when she notice Inuyasha returned by himself.
"Hmph." Sesshomaru replied wondering what this old hag wanted to speak to him about.
"Come Sesshomaru to my home so we can talk." Kaede nudged her head forward, hinting to Sesshomaru to start walking in that direction.
Sesshomaru frowned but did follow the old hag into her small dingy hut.
He stood in the door way, refusing to enter such a place.
"How can human's just live in anything. Pathetic." Sesshomaru thought to himself.
"What do you wan't priestess." Sesshomaru said with annoyance in his voice.
"It is about thee girl." Kaede swallowed hard, fearing how Sesshomaru will react about this touchy subject of Rin.
Sesshomaru lifted his brow slightly, wondering why the old hag wanted to discuss Rin.
"What about Rin." Sesshomaru said with sternness.
"Now that Naraku has been defeated, what are ye plans with thee girl now?" Kaede knew Sesshomaru was starting to get suspicious.
"That is non of your concern." Sesshomaru said with coldness in voice.
Sesshomaru turned to face the old woman. Staring at her with nothing but cold emotionless eyes.
"Oh but I think I do have some concern." Kaede said, feeling disrespected by Sesshomaru.
"Rin has been traveling with ye for a while now, ye saved thee girl from death two times already. Life is not a game to be gambled with. A human life is precious and also not long." Kaede stated firmly.
"Tch, what are you trying to get at here." Sesshomaru had a feeling what the old hag was going to tell him. Sesshomaru was not ready to hear what he already knew and feared.
"Aye Sesshomaru I believe ye already know what I am trying to get at here." Kaede said with attitude.
"Rin see's ye as her savior, her lord, her whole world. Thee girl know's nothing else. Rin fears human's, thee girl has no trust in human's. Rin only know's ye. A world with ye only in it. Rin need's to learn to live with her own kind. She need's to learn how to trust her own kind." Kaede's tone in her voice, was proving she was not backing down from this subject.
"It need's to be her choice that she will make when she's grown into a mature woman." Kaede looked at Sesshomaru making sure the dog demon is still listening.
"Rin is almost 14 now, thee girl's body is starting to change. She need's human's to help her with these changes." Kaede said a bit awkwardly.
Sesshomaru was not a stupid dog demon like his half breed of a brother. He knew exactly what kind of changes the old priestess was trying to get at. Sesshomaru started to sense the changes in Rin as well.
"Rin need's to decide, in time, if she want's to be with ye or be with her own." Kaede stared at Sesshomaru.
"How can thee girl make that choice for herself when ye are the only thing she know's?" Kaede said with emotion behind her voice this time.
She know's this is going to be painful for the both of them, especially Rin.
Sesshomaru stared down to the floor board's of Kaede's hut. His bang's shielding his eye's. His teeth clenching together, as he feel's his blood start to boil.
Sesshomaru clenched his hand into a fist knowing that he is going to have to let his Rin go and make the choice for her own self.
He wondered why he feel's this way? He knew one day this was going to come, her short life was nothing compared to his. Rin's entire life span was just a blink for Sesshomaru. Yet this heavy feeling in his chest was pissing him off.
"What is this!", "Is this a pathetic human emotion?" He yelled to himself.
"I Sesshomaru, will not follow into my pathetic father's foot step's, or that half breed bastard!" Sesshomaru said to himself.
Sesshomaru started to loosen up his clenched fist, knowing the old hag was watching his body language.
"Thee girl will be safe here. Now that Naraku exists no more; demons will start to come out of hiding. Rin will not be safe traveling while ye are out slaughtering demons." Kaede realized, maybe that was not the right thing to say to Sesshomaru, especially in the kind of mood that he was currently in.
"Are you trying to tell me that I am incapable of protecting Rin." Sesshomaru snapped at the old priestess.
"I am not saying ye are not capable of protecting Rin, I am saying Rin does not have a third chance at life, as her life is already a gift from coming back from thee dead two times." Kaede said with seriousness in her voice.
"If something were to happen to thee girl, she would not be saved a third. Could ye live with ye self, if such tragedy were to bow-stow thee girl?"
Sesshomaru's blood started to boil again. How dare this old hag question his abilities to protect Rin.
Sesshomaru then remembered back when he was at his mother's palace, trying to fully unlock tenseiga's full power. They were sent to the underworld unexpectedly and Rin ended up losing her life.
Sesshomaru's mother brought Rin back to life for the second time and also the final time. His mother gave him his warning that this was the girl's last chance at life.
Sesshomaru placed his hand on her soft rosy complexion. Her beautiful brown fiery eyes staring into his own. The joy he felt knowing that she was okay even though in his nature he could not show much.
The pain he felt when he thought he lost Rin forever. Nothing could be worth more than her short, human life. Nothing at all. Even if it mean't sacrificing his own happiness.
Sesshomaru knew then it was best if Rin did reside in the human village. He at least know's, she would be mostly safe with his half breed of a brother living in the village, as well as the monk and demon slayer. Sesshomaru let out a deep sigh, knowing his mind was made up now. Rin will reside in the human village.
"Aye at least let thee girl learn how to live with her own kind again and trust human's again. Then let thee girl choose when she is a mature woman to make her own decisions."
"Then she can choose if she wishes to return to ye or stay in thee village." The priestess said with tenderness this time.
"Rin will remain in the human village, until she is capable of making her own decision's." Sesshomaru put his head back down with his bang's covering his eye's.
He did not want the old hag to see the emotion's that was shown all over his face. His pride will not yield to such a human as herself.
She was taking his Rin away from him, but he knew it was for the best. Rin needed to learn that life is not just about Sesshomaru. She need's to be-able to find happiness in other thing's. There is beauty in this world, worth to be seen and explored; that it is also not just revolving around Sesshomaru.
Lady Kaede was in complete shock that Sesshomaru finally agreed to her request.
"Thank ye Sesshomaru, for accepting my reques..." Lady Kaede tried saying before Sesshomaru cut her off.
"I am not doing this for you or any other pathetic human. I am doing this for Rin and Rin only. When she makes her choice I will be there." Sesshomaru yelled at the old woman.
"I will be able to visit her, or am I going to have interference with the like's of you every-time I decide to come around?" Sesshomaru said with a growl.
"Thee less thee girl see's of you, thee less it will hurt thee girl in thee end, but it will hurt Rin more if ye stop coming around entirely."
"Ye understand What I am trying to say?" Kaede trying to hint to him its okay to come seldomly.
"Tch.. I will do as I please old hag and no-one will stop me."
"I will kill anyone who get's in my way."Sesshomaru said snipping at Kaede.
Sesshomaru understood exactly what she was trying to say. He could not be apart of her every-day life anymore. Rin had to live for herself and no-one else.
Rin had to find her own happiness, which did not completely involve Sesshomaru anymore.
"I shall inform Rin of her new living arrangements." Sesshomaru said coldly as he disappeared from Kaede's Hut.
Lady Kaede finally released her breath she was holding, fearing Sesshomaru was going to kill her for even bringing up a conversation like this.
"I wonder how thee girl is going fare with thee new's. Rin will most likely put up a fit." Kaede sighed with a frown on her face.
Sesshomaru walked out of Kaede's hut. Upset and hurt that he has to tell Rin she cannot travel with him any longer. Sesshomaru know's it need's to be done but every-thing inside of him, does not want to let her go.
How can he possibly tell her without breaking her heart? He does not want her to cry, and worse of all watch her beautiful brown fiery eye's, that are full of life and happiness, completely burn out into emptiness.
For the first time in his long demon life, he feared, the only person he ever truly cared about, was going to hate him.
Sesshomaru made his way over to Rin and Jaken. He waited beside a tree until Inuyasha and his companions went into the Hut.
It was time now, to tell his Rin goodbye.
"Rin." Sesshomaru called out to her.
"Where have you been my Lord! This human girl is nosey and will not shut up with all her questions!" Jaken yelled.
"Silence or I will kill you." Sesshomaru told Jaken firmly. Jaken bowed his head down and quickly hid behind Sesshomaru quietly.
"Yes My Lord!" Rin ran up to Sesshomaru with her usual cheesy smile.
Her brown eye's lit up like a candle. Every-thing about her was like a fresh breath of spring. Her presence was just relaxing and comforting. Rin's scent was of flower's and fresh water.
Her beautiful rosy cheeks, her beautiful fiery brown eye's staring into Sesshomaru's eye's. Sesshomaru started feeling that pain in his chest again.
The hurt and pain he is going to cause Rin, is bringing unbearable emotion's that even Sesshomaru could not understand.
Sesshomaru did not want to tear his Rin's heart apart. He knew this was the best for her. She needed to know that there is more to life than just himself. Rin needed to make this choice on her own without the influence of anyone else. Especially himself. Apart of him wishes he could just grab her and leave this human filled village but he cannot be selfish. Not this time.
"Rin, you will be staying here in this village from now on" Sesshomaru said, while staring into Rin's eye's, trying every-thing in his power to not let his emotion's peak through.
He watched her fiery eye's, slowly burn out from the word's that just left his lips, and at that moment a sharp pain throbbed at his chest. He did not want to see her eye's lose that happiness she showed him every-time she looked at him. He did not want to see her flame burn out. It was all his fault and he knew it.
"Damnit!" He yelled to himself.
"Wha... What?, Why lord Sesshomaru!" Rin said, full of anxiety and fear.
Tear's started forming in her eye's and she was trying to choke down the burning sensation she was starting to feel.
"You need to be with your own kind, it is not appropriate at this time for you to be traveling with me any longer." Sesshomaru said.
He did not mean those word's he spoke. Not at all. Rin was alway's welcomed to travel by his side, but he cannot be selfish with her any longer.
"No!, I want to be with you Lord Sesshomaru! Why are you doing this! I do not want to live with human's! They are cruel!" Rin said angrily at Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru was extremely surprised at Rin's response. She has never spoken to him like this before.
He understand's why she feel's this way, she was betrayed by her old village. She was beaten and completely abused by the other villagers.
Sesshomaru remembered seeing her bruised faced for the first when she tried to nurse him back to health.
That sweet innocent smile she gave him when he asked about her wound's. Rin was just happy, someone cared enough to ask how she gotten hurt. Sesshomaru knew though this village was safe for Rin and he must not yield to her cries of pleas. Even though he never wanted to leave her here. He wanted her with him knowing she would be safest at his side, but was she truly?
Sesshomaru thought hard for a moment but he told himself again and again he cannot be selfish. Not with her. This is Rin's life, she has to choose her own path and need's to find her own happiness.
Sesshomaru had to remain stern, even though he wanted to place his hand on her cheek to bring the light back into her eye's.
"Rin, it has been settled. You are remaining here." Sesshomaru wished he did not have to do this.
"Why? I thought we were going to stay together, for as long, time would allow it?
"What did I do wrong Lord Sesshomaru?" Rin said panicking.
The throbbing in Sesshomaru's chest started to intensify. How could she think she did anything wrong? That girl only brought peace with her presence.
"You have done nothing wrong."
"As I stated moment's ago, it is not appropriate for you to travel with me any longer." Sesshomaru said, trying his hardest to stand his ground. He was fighting himself on the inside. He did not want to do this to her.
Inuyasha, the monk, and the demon slayer came out of their hut to hear the pleading Rin. She was begging her Lord to not leave her. They watched in shocked as Rin fought with Lord Sesshomaru.
"How could you do this to me?"
"After everything we have been through together."
Rin's tears that were forming, finally fell from her eye's. The burning sensation over took her, after numerous attempts to choke it down. Sesshomaru thought to himself "please do not cry."
He wished he could just wipe her tears away. He wish he could just hold her and tell her she can stay with him. He just wanted to see her happiness return.
"I need you Lord Sesshomaru! Please do not leave me!" Rin ran up to Sesshomaru and grabbed on-to his mokomoko. Her fist turning completely white from holding on so tightly. Everyone looked like they were in utter shock.
"Rin release me." Sesshomaru said looking down with his bangs covering his eye's. The pain in his chest was growing stronger and stronger, he thought it couldn't possibly hurt more than it was. He was completely wrong.
Sesshomaru knew he must leave. He must go before it becomes impossible to leave her. He did not want her to release him. This was the first time Rin has ever held on to him like this, he was confused on what he was feeling for her. Why didn't he want her to let go? Was he enjoying this affection he was receiving from her? At this moment, he wanted her affection forever.
"How selfish I am." Sesshomaru thought to himself.
"She is a human, why am I feeling this attachment!" Sesshomaru yelled to himself.
"I will not be a fool, I will not submit to these human feelings." He thought to himself.
"No! I refuse!" Rin shouted.
Jaken was in complete shock by the way Rin was talking to his master, but Jaken knew better than to say anything or else Lord Sesshomaru might give him a good beating or worse, kill him.
"Rin this is the last time I am going to tell you."
"Release me now." Sesshomaru said completely stern and emotionless.
That is not how he felt on the inside though. He was getting dangerously close to losing his composure, he refused to show the emotion's he had been trying to fight away. He could not put his pride at stake, especially in front of his half breed brother and Inuyasha's group of companions.
"Yo, Sesshomaru take it easy on the girl. Don't you care she is crying? At least give her a good explanation as to why you are leaving her here you bastard." Inuyasha said with a growl.
Of course Sesshomaru cared. He cared so much that he wanted to lose control. He did not want this. Sesshomaru wanted to transform and kill everyone so he did not have to break his Rin's heart anymore, but he could not be selfish. He could not back down either, he refused to let his pride be hurt.
"Half breed with your human emotions."
"Stay out of it unless you have a death wish." Sesshomaru growled back.
Rin slowly let go of Sesshomaru's mokomoko. Her arm's fell to her side, she was completely broken and confused.
"Why does he want to leave me?"Rin kept pondering and pondering in her head on why he does not want her around anymore.
It started to make sense to her. It's because she's human she kept telling her self. She completely backed up from Sesshomaru and went silent.
She felt so much rage and hurt. Once again Rin felt like she had no one and she was being abandon, left alone again. She had no one.
Her family was completely murdered. She had nothing and Sesshomaru was the only thing she had left in her life that brought joy to her.
He protected her, he cared for her, he always listened to her ramble on even if he did not say a word or even if he truly was listening to her chattering.
"All for it to end like this?" She thought to herself.
Rin had enough of being thrown out, abandon like trash. What was the point of living, when you're never wanted?
When you are easily thrown away and not needed. How can you be something to someone one day and the next you are nothing? Rin had enough.
Rin clenched her teeth so hard you could hear them grinding. Rin clenched her fists so tight her nails broke open her skin. She let the blood drip down her fists like a flowing river. Rin shot her head up and looked straight into Sesshomaru's eye's and yelled-
"Is it because I am human? Because I am just a weak being? Because I am like an insect in your eye's, that you could easily squash with a tiny bit of pressure?"Sesshomaru's eye's grew large in shock and disbelief.
"Because she is human? Because she is an insect in my eye's?" That is far from the truth! Sesshomaru said to himself.
"Because my life is only a moment compared to your eternity? Because I have, what you call, pathetic human emotion's?"
Sesshomaru for the first time in his life he had his breath taken away. He never thought of her negatively like that ever.
"All the time's I called human emotion's pathetic right in front of her. I never even considered, if it would hurt her." Sesshomaru said to himself.
He never thought of her feelings as a burden or annoyance. If truth be told, her emotion's and feelings were the only one's he ever gave a damn about.
"I was abandon like trash, abused like I was nothing."
"I was treated like I was an outsider."
"Human's did this to me!"
All the heart breaking memories that Rin suffered, started flowing through her, She could not hold back any longer.
"Now it's not appropriate for me to travel with you anymore?"
"You must abandon me to?"
"All my life, before I met you Lord Sesshomaru, I lived with sorrow and pain since my parent's were massacred by bandits, which were human's!"
Sesshomaru stared into Rin's, heart broken eye's. Regretting every-thing.
She was so broken and destroyed. He helped her heal through it, by letting her accompany him on his travel's, for just being there for her even though he was a man of few word's. Simple thing's he could do for her and it would light up her entire world. Bring her complete and utter bliss.
Now all of it was destroyed and broken because of him.
"Why did you even save me if you were going to abandon me in the end?"
"Or else I really was just a test for your sword!" Rin shouted.
Sesshomaru was starting to get really pissed off at her nonsense. Rin was never just a test. She knew that back when she died in the underworld. Nothing was worth losing her. Nothing at all. Even now.
Sesshomaru started to clench his teeth at her. Of course Rin noticed this but she was too angry to care. Rin and Sesshomaru did not break eye contact. Rin's goal was to upset him because he broke her heart. For making her feel like they would be together no matter what. Rin wanted him to feel something, just something so she was not alone in this never ending nightmare.
Little did she know that Sesshomaru did feel something. He felt every-thing. It tore him apart knowing this is what she believes, that he think's of her this way. Rin was never a piece of trash to him. She was never just a test to him. He was not abandoning her, he just wanted her to live a life that she completely wanted. That is was her choice and no-one else's. He wanted her to have a chance at a human life, because what if that's what she truly wanted? Sesshomaru did not want to be selfish with her.
You're just like the rest of the human's, Lord Sesshomaru!"
"I hate you!"Rin screamed at the top of her lung's.
Everyone was in total complete shock. Sesshomaru's eye's filled with fire, his pupils dilated when Rin told him she hated him. A part of him snapped and broke.
"She hate's me?" Sesshomaru thought to himself.
"She hate's me!" Sesshomaru yelled to himself.
Sesshomaru feared she would hate him. Sesshomaru was starting to feel himself lose control. He was beyond pissed off. All he wanted was to let her have a choice and a chance at a normal human life.
"How dare she say that to me." Sesshomaru thought to himself. Sesshomaru's eye's started to turn red. He knew he had to leave now before he completely transformed. Rin's word's completely set Sesshomaru over the edge. All the emotion and confusing feeling's he was trying to keep hidden, he did not have the strength to control his anger emotion's.
Rin grabbed her mouth in shock. How could she say she hated her Lord Sesshomaru after everything he has done for her? Rin was angry of course, but to say she hate's him when in fact, it is the complete opposite on how she feel's.
"Lord Sesshomaru I, I, am sorry. I did not mean that!" Rin said, full of anxiety and fear. Rin was afraid her Lord would never forgive her for saying those two awful word's to him, especially after everything he has done for her. She could never forgive herself for being so selfish. For being so hateful.
"Who have I become?" Rin thought.
Sesshomaru looked into Rin's eye's. Rin seen his eye's turn red. She became afraid, not because she thought Sesshomaru was going to hurt her. She was afraid he was going to lose control and hurt someone else. She knew now that she really pushed him past his snapping point. She regret's even saying anything to him. She should of just let it be and listened to his order's, instead of retaliating against him. She just wanted to be with him that was all. She feel's strongly for her Lord Sesshomaru and never wanted to leave his side. That is all she truly wanted. Now her selfishness lead to this.
"Rin, I did this for you!" Sesshomaru yelled at Rin for the very first time.
"I wanted to give you a chance at a human life, be with other human's!."
"I wanted you to make your decision at your own pace. I wanted to make sure you lived a happy life because you chose that path, not because of someone else's influence!" Sesshomaru said with complete rage.
"Lord Sesshomaru I am so sorry, my happiness is with you!" Rin responded with her voice crackling. Lord Sesshomaru never yelled at her before. Rin was in total shock and was at a loss for word's.
"You don't know that truly, if your happiness is with me. That is why you must remain here for the time being, until you are fully able to make that decision, Rin." Sesshomaru calmed down and his eye's went back to the normal beautiful sun set eye's that Rin fell in love with. She already knew what wanted and time would not change that. Rin wanted to be with Lord Sesshomaru for the rest of her life. She truly mean't that.
"Farewell, Rin." Sesshomaru said quietly. He looked at Rin's beautiful fiery eye's one more time. Examining every detail of her entire body. Most of all, the complexion of her soft rosy face. He got one more close look at her, knowing this will be the last time they meet face to face, until Rin makes her choice and walk's the path she most desires. Sesshomaru started to transform into his orb ready for departure. To leave his Rin behind to find her own place in this world, without him. The pain Sesshomaru felt in his chest, began to intensify again. He knew he needed to go then, before he destroyed her heart even more. Also before he made a fool out of himself even more. He did not want to damage his pride anymore, then it already was. Sesshomaru let his guard down a little bit that night and Inuyasha noticed that. Inuyasha was completely stunned by Sesshomaru's word's. Most of all, to Sesshomaru's action's, he almost lost his composure and transformed. Inuyasha sensed that it was extremely close to happening. He even noticed Sesshomaru's eye's turned red.
"Lord Sesshomaru! Please don't go! Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin yelled as loud as she could to her Lord. To her entire world.
As he was about to disappear within his bright orb, Rin jumped up trying to grab a hold of him. From what Rin could tell, Sesshomaru gave her the tiniest, slightest smile. She even thought she heard him say "Till we meet again, my Rin."
He was gone. Sesshomaru and Jaken were officially gone out of her life, as of now. Rin collapsed to the dirt and dug her fists into the ground. Tears streamed down her face like a water fall. Her screams and cries broke everyone's heart. Especially the heart of Kaede. She knew this was her fault. Now this young girl is laying in the dirt completely heart broken. Kaede knew though, it unfortunately had to happen. Kaede just wished it would have ended on better terms and not in disaster. Kaede had a lot on her plate now; from teaching this young girl to live with human's and once again become familiar with her kind, but now she also has to try to mend Rin's broken heart.
Kaede remembered that horrible heart breaking departure. Rin's heart never fully healed since she has been apart from her Lord Sesshomaru, but she learned how to manage this new life.
"I wish I could tell him, I am sorry for all the awful thing's i've said to him Kaede." Rin said with tears in her eye's, trying everything in her power to swallow away the burning sensation she was starting to get in her throat.
"I regret everyday, that I told Lord Sesshomaru that I hated him. I wish I could see him, even if it's the last time I ever lay my eye's on him; just to tell him how sorry I truly am." Rin said with complete pain.
"I just want to see him again! it's all my fault Kaede!" Rin yelled, with complete heartbreak. She was hoping just maybe, her voice would travel to Sesshomaru and he would hear her apology. That he would hear how much she misses him, how much she want's him. She already knew what her choice was. She want's him, and only Lord Sesshomaru.
"Aye Rin I know ye do. Sesshomaru will be back I am sure Rin."
"Ye must not blame yourself so much. Ye was hurt and said thing's ye did not mean."
"Human's do that girl, we make mistakes and say things ye don't mean."
"If he truly cares, he will be back for ye. For now live your life until it is time for ye to make that decision Rin."
"Ye have been becoming a great demon slayer, and learning how to make medicines with thee herb's I've showed ye. Ye are doing great for ye-self so don't bring ye-self down so much, okay? Kaede said with a sweet tender, mothering voice.
"Okay." Rin responded quietly.
Rin understood what Kaede was trying to tell her. It is true she is only human. She felt all those emotion's at once, and it came out so fast before she could even stop herself. The thing is though, Rin already made her choice long ago. How could she just go on living her life without her Lord Sesshomaru? Rin already chose her path and will forever remain with Lord Sesshomaru. He is her happiness, the person she want's to spend the rest of her life with. She will wait for him till the end of time. She just hopes he does not hate her for the awful thing's she said. She pray's he will come back for her, one day. Rin sighed and stared back into the bright blue feathery sky. "Please come back soon my Lord. I miss you." Rin whispered to herself.
