Well, I know it was only a matter of time before I wrote one of these.

We see a boy in a forest, walking alone. They have blonde hair, silver eyes, with markings underneath their eyes. Their most striking feature were the horns on their head, similar to antlers. They wear the standard school uniform, which is a gray tunic with a dark gray belt, cowl, and boots. They had orange sleeves and leggings belonging to his track.

He spotted someone in front of him and began running towards them.

"Yo, Amity!" He greeted his childhood friend, who was on top of a wagon, being pushed with magic.

Amity is thin, with pale skin, bright golden eyes, and pointed ears. Her hair is chin-length, with a ponytail pulling the front hair out of her face, and a mostly covered undercut visible at the temples. Amity's hair is two-toned, composed of dyed shades of aquamarine with brown hair—her natural hair color—visible at the roots.

"Oh hey Brooke." She greeted him with a smile.

He knocked on the pot she was sitting on. "Let me guess: Abomination assignment?" He asked.

"Yep." She said. "It's going to be easy."

Brooke rolled his eyes. "Of course it will be, Miss Top Student." He said.

Amity gave her a cheeky smile while flexing her badge.

They decided to walk in silence towards the school as Amity read a book.

Suddenly, Brooke stopped Amity's wagon. "Amity, careful not to run over anyone." He said, pointing at someone next to them.

Amity raised an eyebrow and looked away from her book and at the ground. "Willow!" She said as she hops off the pot. "You're so unnoticeable I almost rolled into ya."

Willow is a shorter-than-average, plus-sized and stocky girl who has light skin, pointed ears, olive green eyes, and short, neat, dark navy-blue hair with a few loose strands. Willow wears a pair of round gold-framed glasses. Her uniform was the same colour as Amity's, indicating they were on the same track.

"Hi, Amity." Willow says, standing up. "Hi, Brooke."

"Hey, Willow." He greeted her.

"Uh, shouldn't you get to class early to prep your…" Amity started, but rattling cuts her off. They turn to Willow's pot as it spills, pouring out a purple substance and an eyeball that blinks and groans.

"Yuck…" Brooke says, stepping away a bit.

"Oh, Willow. You don't have anything to show, do you?" Amity asked.

Willow pulls up her hood as she blushes out of embarrassment.

Amity sighs "This is why people call you 'Half-a-Witch Willow'." She said, before they heard rattling again.

"Oh, looks like someone wants to say something to you." Amity says as she takes the cover off her pot and snaps her fingers. "Abomination, rise."

Her abomination rises, becoming more solid until it's humanoid in shape. It bends out of the pot to poke Willow's forehead, leaving behind mud in a star-shape.

"You're a... star." It groaned out.

"Aw. It's like mine." She said, readjusting a star shaped badge that reads 'Top Student'. "But much smaller and meaningless. As a top student, it's my duty to tell you to keep at it. Even you can get a passing grade someday. Abomination, cower."

It groans as it melts back into the pot. Amity places the pot lid and takes hold of the cart once more.

"See you in class, superstar." Amity said.

"Uh, bye Willow." Brooke said, before running to Amity.

"Did you have to be that mean?" He asked as they reached the school's entrance. They were at Hexside School of Magic and Demonics, one of the three greatest schools in the Boiling Isles.

"She's the one in the Abomination class when she is great at plant magic." Amity said.

They soon reached the halls. Given that they were on different tracks, with Amity being in the Abomination track and Brooke being in the Beast Keeping track. Naturally, since they had different classes, they had to split up.

"See you after class." Brooke said. "Good luck."

"I don't need luck." She said confidently.

He walked towards his classroom, which was titled 'Beast Keeping 101', and sat down. Hopefully nothing weird is going to happen today.

It was now lunch time and Brooke was eating, waiting for Amity to show up. "That's weird. It's not like her to be late to something. I wonder if something happened in class…"

He was interrupted by a tray being slammed onto the table. He looked at the person and saw a very annoyed Amity.

Uh oh.

"I take it didn't go well?" Brooke said, sipping on some apple blood.

"What do you think?" She asked, sarcastically, as she sat down. "Willow created a perfect abomination, one even more better than mine! And worst of all, she took my badge!"

Uh oh once again. Brooke knows how… obsessive Amity can be over her studies and accomplishments. If someone managed to take her off her metaphorical throne, well... He was pretty sure the Blights could hide a body.

"It just doesn't make sense!" Amity said. "We saw her this morning! Her abomination was almost mud! How did she create an abomination from that, and make it talk!? It took me months to make mine talk!"

"You think one of the students helped her?" Brooke asked her

"The only student who can make an abomination that good in this school is me." Amity said and while she sounds like she is boasting, she is actually telling the truth. "And I know for sure my advice didn't help her."

She looked at her side and gasped. "I knew it!" She said, before quickly getting up and running towards a table.

The one where Willow was at.

Uh oh for a third time. "Amity, don't-" Brooke tried to stop her. Howerver, it was too late and Amity literally jumped on the table.

"I saw that! Abominations don't eat! I know you're in there! You can't hide from me. What are you? Who are you? I want answers!" She said as she reached into the pot and grabbed the abomination and shook it violently.

Now that Brooke had a good look at it, he had to admit, the abomination looked odd.

For starters, it looked thin. He has seen abominations and all of them were big and dense (you had to be if you were a golem made out of goo), so already that's a red flag. Not to mention the weird colors it had as he never saw an abomination with the colour brown and a almost normal face, but Willow could have changed its shape so he won't argue against that.

He began to look around, noticing they were getting people's attention.

"Uh, Amity… people are staring." Brooke said, but was ignored by her friend, who kept shaking the abomination.

"Amity Blight." A simple voice spoke.

The person who spoke was Professor Hermonculus, the Abomination teacher here in Hexside.

"Huh?" Amity stopped shaking the abomination as the professor called her.

"I suspected a twinge of jealousy, but this is just sad." He said with a disappointed tone.

"But I—No! Look at it." She tried to defend herself.

The abomination groans as its head falls back.

"Report to Principal Bump's office." The Professor ordered.

"But—"

"Now!"

Amity drops the abomination and runs off.

Brooke waited outside the door as he heard the conversation inside.

"I must say, Miss Blight, I never expected you to be in my office for something negative." Principal Bump said. The Principal always freaked him out, with his Palisman basically eating his head. Was it not painful? And why did he let it do it in the first place?

"But Principal Bump, that Abomination is clearly a fake!" Amity argued. "Willow cheated!"

"Miss Blight, accusing a student of cheating in a school assignment is a very serious offense." Principal Bump said, frowning. "Unless you have evidence of what you claim, I will have to claim your accusations mere acts of jealousy, not to mention I will have to inform your parents of this."

Brooke frowned. He knew how Amity's parents were. If they found out she got in trouble, not to mention lose her badge…

He knocked on the door, before opening it, peering his head in. "If I may, Principal Bump?" He asked. "I apologize for intruding, but I believe I have a solution."

"Of course, Mr Whispers." Principal Bump said. "Do you wish to add something?"

"Well, I was just wondering, considering the abomination is so special, perhaps we could dissect it to find out what ingredients Willow used." Brooke explained.

"I will admit I am rather curious…" Principal Bump said.

"This could also show Amity the error of her ways." Brooke added.

"Hmmm." Principal Bump thought for a moment, before getting up. "Very well. Follow me."

As they all left the office, Amity turned to Brooke.

"What are you doing?" She whispered.

"If the Abomination is a fake as you say they are, there is no way they are letting themselves getting stabbed." Brooke explained. "Willow gets exposed, you get your badge back and everything goes back to normal."

"So you believe me?" Amity asked.

"Of course I do. I'll always believe in you and I'll always have your back." Brooke said.

Amity responded by hugging Brooke. "Thanks, Brooke." She said.

"Anytime." He said, trying to ignore the blushing on his face.

They opened the door to the Abomination classroom.

"Good afternoon, students." Principal Bump greeted.

"Principal Bump." Willow greeted. She was there along with her abomination, but there was also someone there as well.

It was a young boy, noticeably shorter than him, Amity and Willow, with brown skin and dark brown hair with lighter shades. His upper lip is curved, and his eyes are dark blue. His uniform suggests he is on the Illusion track. He believes his name was Gus, and he was part of some society about humans?

The abomination flops to the ground Principal Bump steps closer to her. Willow and Gus back off as he kneels down, turning its head.

"Hmm. Abomination, rise." Principal Bump says as it rises. "Abomination, lie."

"Uh, viral fame is a worthy pursuit. Your cat would never eat you if it got the chance. Chemtrails are real—" It said with a female voice.

Brooke raised an eyebrow. He was pretty sure Principal Bump told it to lie, as in, lie down, not tell a lie.

"Oh, no, abomination. How strange for it to get the command wrong. I mean lie down." Principal Bump says as he points to a desk.

The abomination obeys and Brooke was sure he heard it whimpering.

"So very lifelike." Principal Bump says as he approaches the table with Willow. "When Miss Blight told me about your abomination, I had to come by, see what she's made of."

"Oh, I have her list of ingredients right here." She says, reaching for something in her pocket.

"No. We were hoping…" Principal Bump says as he pulls a dagger out of his sleeve. "…for a closer look. Willow, I'll allow you the first cut."

Willow takes the offered dagger and smiles at him nervously. She steps closer to the abomination, whispering something, making the abomination shake its head.

"Willow, go ahead and make the first incision." Principal Bump incited as Brooke and Amity waited in anticipation.

"Wait, Principal Bump!" Gus suddenly shouted, making everyone turn to him. "Uh, high five!"

Gus knocks over three abomination pots. The goo spills together, and the formed abominations stand.

"Run!"

Willow and the abomination did as they were told.

"They're getting away!" Amity shouted.

"No, the intruder won't get far." Principal Bump said as he approaches a wall and traces a large spell circle, then slams the wall in the center of it. Red light forms patterns on the walls and floor, spreading from the spell circle.

"Sheesh, remind me to never get on Principal's Bump bad side." Brooke said as he surveyed the school, the halls filled with red symbols and barriers.

"Please, as if I let you become a delinquent." Amity said, laughing. "I can't be seen with troublemakers."

He understood what she really meant. My family wouldn't allow us to be friends.

"So, you think Principal Bump got to them?" He asked, changing the topic.

"On one hand, I believe so. On the other hand, I really hope I run into them." Amity said, laughing gleefully like a maniac.

Brooke sighs at Amity's expression, but before they could continue, a wave of vines swept the school, grabbing both of them and slamming them into the wall, trapping them.

"Wow, you were not kidding when you said she was good at plant magic." Brooke said as he surveyed the halls. "Pretty sure students in the Plant Track can't create things this long."

"Yeah, I would have been more impressed if I wasn't tied up!" Amity yelled, struggling to break free. "A little hand!?"

"Relax, Amity." Brooke said, freeing his hand and forming a magic circle with his hands. In front of them, a bigger circle formed, before a three-headed black dog with purple marks appeared.

"Hey, Cerberus. Mind helping us out here?" He asked as the dog attacked the vines around them, biting to get themselves free. Once they did, Cerberus barked at him. "Yeah, yeah, I have your food here."

"Hey Cerberus." Amity said to the dog, who jumped at her and licked her face. "Aw, I missed you too."

"He's happy to see you." Brooke said, grabbing from his pocket a bunch of treats and feeding it to him.

Their little moment was interrupted as Willow and the fake appeared. Brooke should really catch her name.

"Not so fast!" Amity shouted, switching attitudes in the blink of an eye. "I'm not letting you get away so easily! . ! Abominations, seize!"

Amity created a singular abomination from the wreckage to grab both of them, but the fake punched it, dissolving it, and grabbed Willow, running towards the entrance. Quickly, Amity reformed the abomination and sent it after them.

Brooke sighed. "Cerberus, chase." He said to his beast, who ran after them, barking at them.

They were almost at the entrance, but Amity formed another abomination from the remains at the entrance, cornering them. Willow quickly used her magic to trap the abomination and form a wall behind her, stopping the rest.

"Luz, get outta here!" Willow shouted.

So her name was Luz. Brooke had to admit, it was a cute name.

"No! I'm not leaving you." Luz shouted.

"I may get detention, but you'll get dissected." Willow answered back.

The abominations from before melt through the vines, reforming and staggering toward the girls while Cerberus is almost finished biting the wall of vines.

"So go!" Willow says as she waves a hand, summoning two vines to carry Luz over the abomination and out the door, slamming it with her vines.

"Well, well, well." Willow said. "And then there was one."

"Hey, I'm still here!"

They turned to the voice, seeing Gus appear. "Sorry, it was hard navigating the halls with the barrier up." He told Willow. "Where is Luz?"

"I helped her escape." Willow said.

"Nice." Gus cheered. "Now it's 2v2!"

"...Who are you again?" Amity asked, making the rest face-fault. "Doesn't matter. You're on the illusion track, right? Not the best one against abominations and beast keeping."

In response, Cerberus growled as the Abominations focused on the two troublemakers.

Before they could fight, they suddenly heard clapping, turning around to see Principal Bump walking towards them.

"Very impressive, Willow." He said.

"Principal Bump?" Willow asked.

"To be able to create this many vines from a single seed is impressive." He said, gesturing around them.

"A SINGLE SEED!?" Brooke and Amity shouted.

"I can see why you had to cheat as someone with this talent does not belong in the Abomination track. I would be glad to transfer you to the Plant track, if you desire." He explained.

"Really?!" Willow asked, excited.

"Does that mean we're not going to get detention?!" Gus asked.

"That is correct." Principal Bump said.

"Yes! I can't wait to tell Luz!" Willow cheered.

"Ah yes, in regards to the little intruder…" Principal Bump said, creating a magic circle and showing a poster with Luz's face on it, with the words BANNED on top of it. "She is no longer welcome at Hexside."

Willow and Gus looked dejected at that. Noticing their expressions, Principal Bump sighed.

"However, she is clearly a friend of yours, so I will allow you to hang out with her outside of school." Principal Bump said. "If you would please warn her of the current situation, that would be appreciated."

With that, Gus and Willow left.

Brooke smiled. "Well, I guess everything turned out alright." He said.

"Quite." Principal Bump said. "And in terms of punishment, do not worry, Miss Blight, I will not contact your parents."

Amity sighed in relief, before realizing something "Wait, Willow left with my badge!"

"Amity, we'll get you a new one..." Brooke said.

"But that one was special..." Amity pouted, making Brooke sigh.

"Fine, I'll ask Willow for it when I see her."

"Yay! You're the best, Brooke!" She said, hugging him, with once again Brooke trying to ignore his blushing.

"Man, what a day." Brooke thought outloud as he walked home. "And that girl, Luz. She seemed…interesting."

He was also curious about something. During the fight, she punched Amity's abomination. Punched, and not used magic. She wasn't in any track or coven, so she must have been able to use an offensive magic, right? But she decided to punch it. Why?

He reached the entrance of a house and opened it. "I'm home!" He called out. "Dad!?"

"In the kitchen!" They said. Brooke went to said place and found a person mising something on a bowl.

They were a middle-aged witch with medium brown skin and mint-green hair with white streaks on the bottom. They have darker mint green eyebrows, and green eyes. wears large round glasses, a gray earring on their right ear, a long, black tunic with a maroon collar, gold trim, three gold buttons, a brown belt, crimson pants and black, knee-high boots

This was Raine Whispers, his parent. Well, adoptive parent, but he will save story for another day.

"How was school?" They asked.

"Interesting, though Cerberus might be sick from eating plants." Brooke joked.

Raine blinked at him. "What?" They asked, confused.

"Just a small inside joke." He answered. "Cooking dinner?"

"Yeah, go take a shower and we'll eat." They said. "Then you can explain me everything."

"Ok." He said, going upstairs.

Little did Brooke know, this was the start of a great journey.

And there we go.

Now, the artwork isn't mine, it belongs to someone else named rooty1997 and you can find the link to their artwork here.

In case the artist has an actual page to show it, I will show the link. Just know that I am only borrowing the design and that I was given permission to use it. Any art created from them has no connection to this story, unless specified

Now, just to address a few things:

-No I did not change Raine's gender. They are still non-binary. The reason Brooke calls them Dad will be addressed later on. And calling a non-binary parent Dad is acceptable.

-Yes, the main ship of this story is OCxLuzxAmity. No, I do not have anything against this ship in the show as it actually one of my favourites ship in cartoon, not only for it being one of the first in cartoons that actually happens and not implied, but also due to how it was handled beautifully from start to finish. Thank you Dana for not delaying the ship until the end of the show like many other shows did and actually made it canon in the middle of its run and was able to show us cute moments between these two. Hopefully, I can do the same. Don't worry, I won't create problems for these three like some other shows do for the sake of drama.
