"Bolt!" yelled Mr. L, as the outline of Bolt the aldawolf and Xena the crow came into view. "Xena!"

"Yo," said Bolt, slowing to a steady walk as he approached Mr. L. "What's with the wings?"

"Long story," said Mr. L shortly. "C'mon, we gotta get to the Castle."

"Lemme just eat this worm," replied Xena, raising the worm to her beak.

"Nooooooo!" squealed the worm.

"Ew, ew, ew!" screamed Mimi. "Get rid of it, quick!"

"It's just a worm," said Bolt, looking at Mimi incredulously.

"I don't understand her either," muttered Mr. L.

Xena stared at them both, shrugged, and was just about to gulp down the worm, when it wriggled out of her grip and set off, full-speed, towards a patch of earthy soil.

"FREEDOM!" it squeaked, before diving head-first into the dirt.

A few minutes later, the group had reached Castle Bleck, and were safely in Mr. L's room with Dimentio and O'Chunks.

"You idiot!" fumed Mimi. "Why'd you bash her over the head, you... you meanie-face!"

"O'Chunks didn't mean it," said Dimentio lazily. "He simply did what he had to do. Besides, he has a huge crush on Nastasia."

"Dimen'io was squished 'gainst 'da whall!" roared O'Chunks. "Whut was I s'posed 'ta do?"

"Give her drugs so she would forget the entire thing?" suggested Xena slyly.

"I don't think there are drugs for that," said Bolt.

"Trust me, there's a drug for everything," Xena assured the aldawolf. She then turned to Mr. L. "Have you had any drugs lately?"

"No-one here takes drugs, Xena," said Dimentio.

"Oh, really?" said Xena, rounding on Dimentio. "Explain why L sprouted wings, then, clown-face!"

"Maybe he had some Red Bull?" put in Bolt.

Everyone stared at him.

"That's exactly what PeachFan900's friend said," muttered Mr. L. "I hate Red Bull."

"Is it because of the 'red' part?" asked Mimi lively.

"Seriously?" grumbled Xena. "You guys just broke the fourth wall."

"No-one cares about the fourth wall!" exclaimed Bolt.

"I do," said O'Chunks, raising a hand. He then lowered it and asked, "What's 'teh fourth wall?"

"Alright, guys, we're getting side-tracked," interrupted Mr. L. "The point of getting Bolt and Xena here wasn't so that we could break the fourth wall or talk about drugs. We need to find out how I got my wings and why."

There was silence. Then, Bolt raised a paw. "The fourth wall is kind of like the barrier between reality and fiction. In other words, a character breaks the fourth wall when he or she acknowledges that they are fictional, or when they talk about things in reality when they are supposed to have no idea the thing exists. For example, I am breaking the fourth wall now. Understand?"

"No."

"Oh. Well just forget we ever said it."

"What?"

"...Never mind."
