This is the story of Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Brightscales, some time after defeating Galbatorix, ending up in Hyrule at the time of Breath of the Wild. A crossover between Eragon and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
As this will be my very first story I am asking for lots of feedback. Please try to ignore any of my spelling or grammar mistakes unless I keep making them, in which case please inform me. If you have a good idea please leave a comment.
I know that the category for Eragon is the movie but doesn't have a category for the books: The Inheritance Cycle
Eragon released a sigh. It had been several days on the Edda River but the monotone lull of the boat had made it feel like months. It didn't help that he was leaving behind almost everyone he knew as well as Arya. Why couldn't she have just come with him! It would have been so much easier.
"Why," Eragon said to himself. "is it that I have to leave Alagasia while everyone I care for stays behind."
Do not worry little one. Saphira had been listening in on his thoughts.
Well not everyone. I still have my partner of my soul. Eragon directed so Saphira could hear.
Saphira was scouting the surrounding areas for the past few days for anything of interest but had come up with nothing to show for it.
Calm yourself Saphira, it has only been a few days. We will find a place for the riders. Eragon comforted her. Saphira had been paranoid, however slightly, that they would not find a home for the riders.
I know little one but I cannot help but worry. What if there really is no land other then Alagaesia. What if...
The Elves, Humans, and Urgals had to have come from somewhere did they not? Eragon interjected.
You are right. I should stop worrying like a hatchling. I am sorry to have burdened you with my troubles little one.
You need not worry. Eragon smiled. I was not worried.
It was then that Eragon noticed the sun getting dangerously close to the horizon. You had best hurry back, the elves might begin to worry about you.
Fine, fine. I'm on my way back.
Several minutes later Eragon could see Saphira winging her way towards him. When she was only a mile away she suddenly stopped and hovered in the air. It appeared that she was looking at something off in the distance.
What is it? What do you see? Asked Eragon.
Probably nothing. She replied with a shake of her head then continued on towards the boat.
Tell me, now I'm even more curious than before. Eragon begged.
Just a light in the distance, and a word on the wind little one.
What did it say?
I thought I heard it say: Link...
Well, that sure was an adventure. I have a vague idea for what could come next, but I could really use some feedback on whether or not to continue.
Sorry that it's going a bit slow, I promise it will be better in the next chapter.
