Sera might have been eager to race the Inquisitor to her chambers, but when she sees the opulence of the rooms in question, she can't help wondering how compatible she and the Inquisitor really are.

Contents of this fic: 1 Zevran: smooth as all-get-out, miserable, and totally unused to kindness. 1 Rhodri: appallingly awkward, embarrassingly kind, laughs at own jokes. Mix the two gently and carefully until combined, and point and laugh/despair (delete as applicable) at their boundless foolishness for added flavour.

Ennaly Lavellan never thought much about the other Elven mage in her party. Yet he is the one that can help her understand this mark on her hand. At his wicked words, her viewpoint changes. As a spark of interest starts to grow in her, he seems to disregard her again. Wasn't he here to help her understand everything more instead of less? If only Solas was more in tune with her.

Canon takes a brick in the face by the name of Carver Hawke. Or: The "modern character in Thedas" trope done a liiiittle differently. Maker have mercy on us all. Or: I can't find a fic where the transmigrated modern figure in Thedas actually massively changes canon from DAO to DAI, so I write it myself.

As a scout of the Nightingale, Sparrow went about her duties obediently enough: doing exactly as she was told, never to influence events by herself. She trained herself to be detached from any emotions or thoughts about her work, lest they affect her performance. But the explosion at the Temple of Sacred Ashes, and the events that follow it, make detachment a bit too difficult.

Being held captive on a ship heading towards Starkhaven isn't exactly a vacation for Hawke, but it gives both Sebastian and him time to reflect on their past friendship before it all came crashing down.
