When he came back, the only answer he gave when asked what he'd been doing was "thinking." This is what he was thinking about.

Have you ever just read a line in a book that made your mind wander? A throw-away reference to something that the characters know about, but you, as the reader, don't recognize? Something that happens in between the lines or outside of the scope of the book? I'm using these lines as prompts to write some more detail into this epic fantasy world.
