Class was dismissed and everyone rushed out, glad the school day was over. Shizuo snapped the pencil he was holding and picked Izaya up by the collar.
"What did you just call me?" he growled. "Wow, you're cute when you're mad 'Shizu-chan'." Izaya teased, emphasizing the name that had angered Shizuo. "Shut up! Don't call me that!" Shizuo shouted."
Shinra was leaning against the lockers, cleaning his glasses with his shirt. Izaya, having just been thrown by Shizuo, literally came flying down the hallway. He crashed into Shinra, knocking his glasses out of his hand and landing on top of him.
Shizuo ran down the hallway and accidentally stepped on Shinra's glasses. "My glasses!" Shinra shrieked, after hearing a loud crunching sound. Shizuo stopped in his tracks and looked down at the shattered lenses and the crushed frames. "Damn it!" he shouted.
Izaya was till on top of Shinra, and he was amused by the horrified expression on his face. "You alright?" he asked, rolling off of the poor boy.
"I can't see." whined Shinra, putting his head in his hands. "This is all your fault, Heiwajima!" said Izaya. "It's your fault for pissing me off!" yelled Shizuo, "And now I'm really gonna kick your ass!"
"Ohh I'm scared." said Izaya, sarcastically. "I'd love to stay and play but since you broke Shinra's glasses, I need to walk him home." Shizuo let out an irritated sigh. "Whatever, but next time I'm kicking your ass." he said, storming off.
Izaya turned to Shinra, who was still on the floor, looking very upset." "How bad is your vision?" he asked. "It's pretty bad." Shinra replied, "I can barely see." "Alright, well I'll walk you home," said Izaya, offering him a hand. "What is that?" Shinra asked. "Wow, you really are blind, aren't you?" said Izaya, bending down and grabbing Shinra's hands. The boy was startled by the sudden contact, but he allowed Izaya to help him up.
