CHAPTER 1: A pirate in U.A.?
One Piece world, Thousand Sunny [13:43]
It was a pacific day on board of the Thousand Sunny. The sky was clear, no clouds in sight, and the waves were rocking gently the ship while our favourite pirates tried to enjoy a little peace after the fight with the marines in Egghead Island.
This unusual free time was spent in different ways by the members of the crew; On the deck, for example, we could find Robin reading a book from Wano's library while, a few steps away from her, Nami was taking a sunbath with a glass of tangerine juice in her hand. Meanwhile, we could also see Jinbe on the helm, enjoying the sea breeze, or Zoro sleeping in the grass listening to Brook playing his violin.
For his part, Sanji prefered to stay indoors practicing the new recepies he learned in Whole Cake Island, as well as Ussop, Franky and Chopper who were having a good time chatting animatedly with Dr. Vegapunk in the aquarium.
The only member left was the captain who, to no one's surprise, was lying on top of the Sunny's lion-head, his favorite spot in the whole ship.
Luffy was half-awake thinking if it was a good idea to have another banquet tonight. After all, it was their last day with Vegapunk so, according to Luffy's logic, he must have a farewell party, right? Although it didn't seem clear if it was because he really wanted to bid a good farewell to his temporary nakama or just because he wanted an excuse to party all night, again. Although, knowing him, it could be both as well.
He was about to ask his nakamas what they think about the party when, all of a sudden, his observation haki capture the presence of something approaching them very quickly.
"Did you feel it?" Said Zoro, already awake and with a sword in each hand.
"Yeah" He replied
Besides them, Sanji, who was in his way to deliver some snacks to Nami and Robin, also stopped abruptly with the tray on his hands and looked up to where Luffy and Zoro were standing; it was obvious he had sensed it too.
Leaving the tray in a little table near Nami's deck chair, he went near his captain, his eyes completely fixed in the strange fog that, out of nowhere, was forming at one side of the ship. "I don't have a good feeling about this"
This also caught the attention of the three other crewmates who were on the deck. "What is happening?" Asked Robin looking with distrust at the mysterious mist.
"I don't know but this is strange. The weather shouldn't be changing for the rest of the day" Said the navigator looking up to the sky.
"Hmm... I think we should go and warn the others. The boys must have sensed something with their haki"
"Yeah, I know. Ahhh...I can't believe we are in trouble again. It only has been two days since we left the marines and the CP0 behind. This is nuts."
"You are right Nami-san" Intervened Jinbe as he approached them "But now, we are the crew of one of the four emperors of the sea, it is only inevitable to face problems more often"
"Boss-san is correct. A bounty like ours is a pretty good incentive for others, especially pirates, to attack us with more frequency. Despite Luffy's new status as a Yonkou there are still a lot of rookie crews that don't know their place and think too highly of themselves"
"Yohohoho, those are pretty harsh words Robin-san" Said Brook while closing the door of his music room.
"Fufufu. I'm only being honest'
At that moment, Usop, followed by Dr. Vegapunk, Franky and Chopper also decided to come out from the aquarium "Hey guys, what are you all doing here?"
"It seems that something is coming, but we still dont know what" Replied Sanji before abruptly turning around with heart shaped eyes "But don't worry Nami-swan, Robin-chan, I'm here to protect you!"
"Couldn't it be the Revolutionary Army?" asked Chopper, ignoring Sanji outburst. "After all, we have to leave Vegapunk with them"
"Mmmm. I don't think so little reindeer" Said Vegapunk this time"We have already agreed to meet them at Applenine Island and the revolutionaries, especially when Dragon is traveling with them, are really meticulous with their moves. They wouldn't have risked to suddenly changing the meeting point without speaking to us first"
After hearing this, Chopper took a few steps forward stopping when his nose caught a strange scent "Ugh! It smells weird" He said sniffing the air.
"This situation is starting to look SUPER suspicious!"
Everything was still peaceful, but just like the calm before the storm, this was the precedent before a powerful wind started to blow in the ship's direction making the mist advance at a faster pace. Undoubtedly, it would have reached the Sunny if Luffy haven't reacted in time.
Our captain took a few steps back and started to inhale a huge amount of air until he became a giant balloon and then...
"Gomu Gomu no... AIR BLOWER"
He released all the accumulated air making the thick fog to dissipate quicker than he came.
The following seconds passed in silence; nothing was happening, so they naturally began to relax, however a yell from Luffy put everyone on their guard again. "Guys, be careful something is coming!" And as he had predicted, in the blink of an eye, a new presence appeared in the deck just behind him.
"Well Mugiwara, you got rid of the gas but your pirate days have still come to an end" Said the new arrival. Our captain only had a few moments to turn around when the stranger, who was wearing a high ranking marine uniform and a strange artifact in his chest and arms, shouted to the top of his lungs "...GO TO HELL MONKEY D. LUFFY!"
It was then when a black lightning came out, like a laser, from the device the marine was holding. Luffy tried to protect himself and his nakamas from the impact by covering his arms with Armament Haki, but what he did not expect was that instead of a direct attack, in front of him, the laser formed a big black hole that was trying to pull him in with enormous force. This startled him, don't expecting this outcome. He didn't know what to do until...
"LUFFY GET OUT OF THERE...!" The cry from Nami brought him back to reality and as if it were a natural response from his body; his Conqueror's Haki was activated. Red and black lightning were now clashing and repelling each other, creating powerful shock waves and causing his crew to have to hold onto something to not fall off from the ship.
Luffy's haki was annuling that thing's power, and when he thought he could scape, a huge white crack appeared beneath him, swallowing him almost instantly.
"WHAT? NO..." shouted the marine.
"Damn it!"
"LUFFYYY...! / LUFFY-SAN...! / CAPTAIN...!" The screams of his nakamas were the last thing he heard before losing all consciousness.

My Hero Academia world, outskirts of the U.A. Academy [14:10]
We place us now in the outskirts of U.A., the best hero academy in Japan and alma mater of the number one hero and symbol of peace, All-Might.
In one of the outer paths, we see the director of said academy and one of the teachers taking a stroll around the facilities as they share their thoughts about the upcoming year as well as the entrance exams that will take place in five days time.
The black-haired man was giving his opinion about this year's practical exam when he saw the principal stopping on his tracks and raising his head to watch him with a strange look in his eyes.
He sighed "I was already wondering why you really called me here"
"Didn't you think I simply wanted to have a little talk with a long-time friend?" Said Nezu half- laughing.
The other man crossed his arms "Nezu, we know each other enough, go straight to the point"
"...Alright then" He paused for a moment " Aizawa, you know I have never questioned your authority, and I even gave you the power to expel any student at your will, but what happened last year is a different matter. You kick out the entire class 1-A!" Said the principal as he rubbed his forehead with his small paw.
For his part, Aizawa could only roll his eyes. Here we go again. Honestly, right now he just wanted to go home and sleep the days that remain until the school season begins. "I readmitted most of them a couple of days later, didn't I? Besides, those kids needed a lesson"
"But did you need to expel all of them?" Asked Nezu with an accusatory look. "Listen, you are one of the best teachers here, and this year you will be the homeroom teacher of class 1-A again; you have to understand that what happened last year must not be repeated. I covered you that time but I can't do it again. You must know that angry parents can be scarier than villains sometimes"
"Ha" The other chuckled "That could be true, but..." Before he could say anything else, he was interrupted by a loud sound, followed by the appearance of a white crack fifteen meters above them.
At the sight of something unknown, and probably dangerous, Aizawa stepped up and placed himself in front of Nezu who was already taking his phone to call more heroes in case there were too many threats for his friend to handle.
However, the only thing that came out of that crack, before completely closing up, was a teenager wearing a red vest, a black cloak, blue shorts and... a straw-hat? Thankfully, despite their surprise, Aizawa was fast enough to realize that the boy was unconciuous and jump in time to catch him before he hit the ground.
After that, he gently put him down in the ground trying not to cause the teen any more injuries, if he had any.
Not seeing further danger, the principal walked towards the pro-hero to examine the mysterious boy. When he was near enough, his eyes scanned the newcomer's entire body until one thing caugh his attention.
Thanks to his unbuttoned shirt, a big old scar could be seen all across his chest.
"Well, this is sure an interesting individual" Nezu said as his curiosity continue to grow.
"Yes, and that is an ugly scar right there" replied Aizawa looking intently at the stranger "He doesn't look like a villain but his appearance, specially his clothes are quite strange to say the least"
"I agree. He doesn't look injured either..." He interrupted himself when he saw the boy frowing "Oh look! I think he is waking up"
The kid's eyes openned "Ugh! Oh man, my head didn't hurt this bad since grandpa's fists of love" Said Luffy massaging his head. He believed himself still in the Sunny but what was his surprise when he fully woke up and instead of his nakamas he saw a black-haired man with big eye bags, wearing a weird scarf around his neck, and a... mink with a suit? They seemed to be watching him with a mix of reserve and intrigue in equal parts. "Whoa, who are you guys? And why am I not in my ship? I fell into the sea? In what island am I now? And what kind of mink are you?"
"Ship...?"
"Mink...?" Questioned Nezu.
"Who are you boy?" Asked Aizawa.
"I am Monkey D. Luffy, the man who will become the King of the Pirates!" Exclaimed Luffy with his characteristic D smile.
King of the Pirates? Nezu and Aizawa thought at the same time
"But who are you, guys?" Asked the boy this time.
"Ahem... Well, Mr. Monkey, I am Nezu, the principal of U.A. academy and this is one of our teachers Aizawa Shota alias Eraserhead" Answered the little mouse?, polar bear?, possum? Honestly Luffy didn't know what to think, he didn't know where he was but the people in front of him didn't seem to know him nor appear like a threat. Even so, he was still going to keep his guard up until he could trust them or they give him meat, what happens first.
"What is U.A.?" Questioned Luffy a little confused
Meanwhile, the other two couldn't believe their ears; this boy doesn't know what U.A. is? What the hell?
"You don't know U.A., Mr Monkey?" Asked Nezu carefully.
"No"
"Boy, where do you think you are?" Said this time Aizawa.
"In one of the islands of the New World, of course" He answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"And where is that Mr. Monkey?" For Nezu, this was becoming a little frustrating, interesting but frustating nontheless. Every time the teenager opened his mouth they got more questions and answers.
"Luffy" The boy responded.
"Excuse me?"
"Call me Luffy, the other way sounds weird" To be fair, formalities were never his forte.
The principal nodded "As you like. Then Mr. Luffy, where is that place called New World that you mentioned before?"
"In the Grand Line. Duh!" He responded bluntly "Have you guys hit your head or something? Even kids know that"
"..."
This doesn't make any sense. There is no place or country called "New World" or "Grand Line". At least not in this world. Nezu thought, turning around to see Aizawa already looking at him with the same confused eyes as he probably had.
"What is the last thing you remember Luffy?" Inquired Aizawa.
"Uhhh... I was taking a nap in the head of the Sunny and then..." He said, scratching his head, when his memories came back to his mind like a hurricane. The mist. The marine. The black hole. The white crack. The screams of his nakamas. And next, nothing. "The marine! He attacked us with a mystery gas because he wanted to pull me into a black hole that he made with a strange machine but then my conqueror's haki block it and a white shiny thing showed up under me and, and..."
Well, if they were not confused before they are now.
"Okay, Okay calm down Mr. Luffy, why don't we go to my office? we could talk more comfortably there and..." But he couldn't talk further because, out of the blue, Luffy stood up adopting a defensive position. Aizawa and Nezu could only look at him with confusion. What is happening?
Their question was answered a second later when a purple portal appeared in front of them and, from it, two villains emerged; one with minotaur anatomy, blue skin and big horns and other with four muscular arms and a black mask that covered his face.
"Well, well, what do we have here?"
"Just a drogadict, a rat and a teenager" Laughed the minotaur "This will be easy"
Okay, that comment really pissed off the pro-hero. Aizawa was ready to fight and put himself in the front line where Luffy was standing without moving.
The poor boy must be really scared. Alright, I have to focus so let's think; the minotaur seems to be the faster, if I attack him first Nezu and the kid might have a chance to scape...The pro-hero was already formulating a plan but before he could put it into practice a hearty laugh was heard interrupting his line of thought.
"SHISHISHISHI. You guys are really funny" Said Luffy grining like an idiot.
What is he doing? "Young Luffy, back off, Aizawa will take care of this; it would be better if we don't intervene"
"Uhh? But why, I wanna fight too" Luffy said whining like a kid "Besides those two are pretty weak, it will be easy to kick their ass"
Oh, shut up, please. Aizawa was now doubting if it wasn't better to knock out the boy first.
"HAHAHAHAHA. I think we came across an arrogant brat. Why don't you listen to the rat, boy? You won't end up so beat up if you start to run now"
"Boy, get behind of me now! It's dangerous" Exclaimed Eraserhead.
In the mist of their conversation, Nezu quietly aproached Eraserhaed from behind "Hizashi is coming rigth now, Aizawa" He quickly told to the hero to then adress Luffy in a hurry "Please Mr. Luffy, come with me and let the professionals handle this"
The boy dismiss the rat's words "Nah, I am gonna kick their asses. Besides, they need to learn how to treat a Yonkou" Said Luffy as a confident smirk appeared in his face.
Yonkou? They thought, but before they could question him both adults saw Luffy running towards the intruders.
"NO, WAIT!" Aizawa yelled, but it was too late "That damn brat. Nezu wait here I am going to save that punk and then kill him myself" Said a very angry hero.
However, what they saw next was something neither of the presents expected.
Luffy was already in the attack radius of the villains when with, impressive speed and reflexes, he started to dodge every punch delivered to him with such an ease and calm face that almost seemed as if he was making fun of them.
"Stay still, damn it!" Said the four-arm man sweating from the effort. He, as well as his partner, were starting to get tired.
"You guys are more pathetic than I thought, SHISHISHI" Laughed Luffy "Well, if this is all then I'll just punch you to finish quickly, I am getting hungry"
"Don't you dare to underestimate us! You little piece of..."
"Gomu Gomu no..." Said Luffy stretching exaggeratedly his arms back "...BAZOOKA"
"AAARRHHG!" Screamed the villain.
"What the hell?!"
"Gomu Gomu no... PISTOL" Another hit to the stomach of the minotaur.
"F*CK!" He screamed
All of this was happening while an impressed Nezu and a confused Aizawa were watching the fight.
Interesting, so his Quirk confers his body some sort of elastic properties. In paper it should be a pretty weak Quirk, but his unique form of using it, makes it very useful in combat. Besides that, his physical strength and speed are also something else. Thought the principal as he saw in pure amazement how Luffy, as he had already predicted, is getting rid of the intruders with no more than a few punches and kicks.
"GOMU GOMU NO... GATLING"
So that kid is not as suicidal as I thought. Apart from being strong, he sure is fast; he don't even let the other two to counterattack before hitting them again. "It looks like he's even having fun" Mentioned Shota for himself.
"SHISHISHI, just one more and I'll finish here" Luffy said raising his leg to the sky "Gomu Gomu no...AXE"
And with that simple move, both villains laid on the ground bad beaten and unconscious and with a smiling Luffy looking at them from above "Well that was fun" He then raised his head to see how Aizawa and Nezu were watching him with evident surprise on their faces "Don't worry, little rat I already took care of them"
"Ahem" Nezu cleared his throat, slightly offended by the nickname "Mr. Luffy, while I appreciate your help in this matter, you must know that what you have done is illegal. We'll let it pass this time but..."
"Wait, why? They were bad guys, rigth? Why can't I punch them?"
The rat raised his eyebrow "Well, as you should know using your Quirk without a hero license is not allo-..." But he was interrupted again by the boy.
"What's a Quirk?" Asked a disconcerted Luffy. "It's a kind of devil fruit?"
Well this is definitely getting strange. Both of them thought in asthonishment. It was understandable, to a certain point, that the kid didn't know what U.A. was if he's not from Japan, but a Quirk?! Even one-year-old children know what is a Quirk. They were about to inquire more when a new voice behind them.
"HEEYY! I AM ALREADY HERE, LET'S KICK SOME ASSES!" President Mic exclaimed running towards them. However, when instead of two villains fighting with his Shota, he found a boy with a straw-hat near two knock out criminals, he stopped in his tracks and directed a confused look to Aizawa and Nezu who seemed to be more disconcerted than him at this moment. "What the hell happened here? Nezu, didn't you tell me you were in trouble? To me, it looks like you are just fine on your own." After that he looked at Luffy suspiciously and said "And who is that straw-hat boy?" He doesn't look dangerous though.
The teen grinned "I am Monkey D. Luffy, the man who will be become the King of The Pirates" King of The Pirates? "But who are you and why your hair is like that? Were you hit by a lightning?"
"HAHAHA, you are a funny little punk. I like you!" Laughed Hizashi. He was about to ask more when he heard a rumble similar to the roar of a lion.
"GGGRRRRRHH!"
"Eh, what's that sound? Another villain attack?"
"Oh, it's just my belly. I am hungry after beating those guys" He said pointing out the two unconscious men on the floor. "Hey little bear can you give me meat? I haven't eaten in two hours"
"Yes, yes. Ehm... well gentlemen, why don't we return to the main building and talk there?" Nezu said once he recovered his composure "Mic, I'll tell you everything that happened when we get here. And you need to come with us too, Mr. Luffy"
"Will you give me meat?" Asked Luffy again.
"Y-Yes, of course. We can make a stop in the cafeteria, I am sure Lunch Rush is already there"
"Great! Come on, guys I am starving." Said Luffy giving them the biggest smile they've ever seen.
He reminds me of someone. Thought the principal.
"Dear God, this will be a very long day" Aizawa sighed. He just wanted to go home and sleep.
"Oh, come on HONEY! It won't be so bad, the kid seems fun. Can't we adopt him?"
"Hizashi, I've told you not to call me that in public. And NO, we cannot adopt him" Said Aizawa with a faint blush on his face.
"Yes, yes HO-NEY, I know" How cute. Thought Mic laughing behind his back.
They never change. Nezu murmured.
My Hero Academia world, U.A. cafeteria [14:56]
The two pro-heroes and the principal were now watching with open mouths how Luffy was eating, no, swallowing the food like it was water. He had already devoured twenty plates and he didn't seem to be slowing down any time soon.
On the flip side, they also saw Lunch Rush who was preparing the dishes at almost light speed. At first sight, it could appear that he was getting tired, but the energy that his aura was emanating betrayed how excited he really was.
It looked like a battle where giving up was not an option for neither of them. It even seemed like fire was coming out from the chef-hero.
"Come on Lunchie, I am still hungry" Yelled Luffy; cheering the cook.
"Here you go, Young Luffy" Said Lunch Rush as he set another eight plates full of food in front of him "You better not slow down soon boy, you are giving me the training of the decade HAHAHAHAHA" He said laughing and, if it's possible, with more enthusiasm than before.
"Got it Lunchie! SHISHISHI" Exclaimed Luffy, also laughing loudly. "Now, keep making food, my stomach is not even half full"
"Roger that!" Replied Luch Rush with his thumbs up.
"..."
"..."
"Fifteen minutes and they are already acting like best buddies" Said Aizawa with a half-smile on his face. "That kid makes friends fast"
"Indeed. Ahem... Well, now going back to our conversation..." started to say Hizashi crossing his arms "...you were telling me that the boy fell from a white crack that appeared on the sky and that he was the one that beat up those criminals? And not only that, but that he also don't have any idea what U.A. or even quirks are?"
"Yes, that's a pretty good resume of the situation" Said Nezu looking at Lunch Rush facing what probably was the most difficult challenge of his career. "And besides that he said he came from a place that I never heard in my entire life. So, I think we only have two possibilities to explain all of this" He said, getting the attention of the other two men "Or he has been locked up his entire life without communication with the outside world, what could explain his misinformation and ignorance of U.A. and Quriks, or he is from another world. And from what we have conversed with him I am inclined to choose the last option"
It would be obvious to say that Hizashi didn't expect that answer "Are you serious?!"
"It may seem crazy, but I was also there and I have to agree with Nezu" Said Aizawa "The fact that the brat comes from another world is the only plausible explanation"
"Okay, okay. If you say so I believe you. But then what are we going to do with him?" Asked Yamada watching the kid still swallowing food at an alarming pace.
"First we are going to go to my office, when he has finished eating of course, and then we are going to question him about how he got here, who is he and, above all, I want to know about his powers; how he got them and what exactly they consist of" Explained Nezu.
"You said he appears to be able to stretch his arms and legs like he was made of rubber. What makes you think that is not all?" Questioned President Mic.
"Because he was too calm" Replied Aizawa.
"What do you mean Shota?"
"During his fight, he was way too calm, it was obvious he was holding back; he was dodging every attack like he caould predict their movements. And on top of that he was already in an ofensive position even before the purple portal appeared, like he already knew that something was coming"
"And besides that, his "Quirk", if we can call it that, in a normal person would be useless in combat. Only someone with an extraordinary physical condition would be able to make it work" Estated Nezu
"And do you think we can get something from him?" Questioned Yamada. "Don't get me wrong, he looks like a good kid, the type that cannot lie, but we have to admit that he probably isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer."
"That's true" Nezu said laughing "But I think that if we have a little patience and ask him clear questions we will be able to know what we want. You said it yourself; he seems like an honest kid. And something tells me that he is not as ignorant as we think. I am even thinking about him as a possible student. I see him as hero material"
"But hadn't the registration period already finished? Besides if he is from another world he won't have any personal documents" Replied Hizashi.
"I can arrange that. That would be the easiest part; what worry me the most are the writing exams. I think we'll have to cheat a little to make him past"
"I agree" Supported Aizawa
"Well, if you think that it's for the best then I'll also agree...Look, he finished eating"
"Aaahhh! I'm full, thank you Lunchie. It was delicious!" Exclaimed a happy Luffy.
"You're welcome kid!" Said Lunch Rush. It was nice being with someone who appreciates his cooking so much. "I like you boy, come whenever you want, it would be a great training for me"
"Of course!" Said Luffy with a wide smile. Then he turned around to see the little mouse coming to where he was.
"Well, Mr. Luffy, as you have already finished, could you please come with us?" Asked Nezu politely "We want to resolve how you get here and what we are going to do"
"Sure, little mouse"
"Please, call me Nezu"
"Okay, little bear"
"Ahhh, never mind" Said Nezu giving up.
My Hero Academia world, Principal Nezu's office [15:12]
Once they were already seated in the principal office, Nezu at his desk and his three guests in front of him; Luffy being in the center; he started to speak.
"Well, Mr. Luffy before we made any questions, we must tell you something" Said the principal.
"What?" He questioned raising an eyebrow.
"We believe you are not in your world anymore" He told him calmly "You mentioned that before you ended up in our school grounds you were in "The New World" a place that, according to you, was in the "Grand Line"; and there are no such places in this world. Besides you didn't even know things that everybody here knows. Did you understand what I said?"
"...Yeah" He answered after a moment of silence. He couldn't believe it, after two years apart from his crew, now he was far from them again. This was bad. "So... I can't go back? I can't see my nakamas again?" He said with the saddest expression they have seen in his face until now. They felt a bad for him. Especially Hizashi, he was starting to sympathize a lot with the boy.
"If I am being sincere, I don't know" He sighed "But before telling you anything else we need to know how you got here, from that we will asked more questions. Take all the time you want, we'll need the clearest explanation you can provide us" He said with a notebook in his hand and a recorder in front of him.
Luffy nodded slowly "Well, I was in my ship taking a nap when my haki felt something coming to us"
Haki? They thought, their curiosity already rising.
So that's what he used earlier to sense the upcoming attack? Remembered Aizawa.
"A mystery mist pop out of nowhere, but it was not a mist but a gas, and then a marine with a strange machine on his chest was behind me. He shot a black laser to me but my conqueror's haki activated and a white shiny thing show up under me and then I think I wake up here" He said rubbing his head.
The other three people that were in the room with him didn't know what to think. The boy made a good effort to explain the situation to them and they understood the main points but there were many things that are a little confused to them.
We are going to be here a looong time. Aizawa lamented. However he felt bad for the boy, he was in an unknown world without guaranties of coming back.
"Mr. Luffy we understand the primary points of your explanation but we still have some questions about it. First, were you with your nakamas when you disappeared?" He nodded "Then, as the teleportation took place from your world to ours, do you think they can find a method to send you back?"
"Oh! It's true. They can come for me!" He answered without hesitation. Now that he thought about it, Vegapunk was also with them, and he and Frankie were super smart, and his Dad and brother will also take action for sure. That reflection made him feel calm again.
"Okay" He needed to say nothing else on this matter; he will trust, for now, in his word "Then, another point I wanted to talk about; in this world the marines are a part of the government, is it the same in yours?" Luffy nodded "Then why he was chasing you?"
"Because I am a pirate with a high bounty, of course! SHISHISHISHI" He said smiling.
Silence followed Luffy's statement.
"Seriously?" Luffy nodded again.
"Then, are you a villain?" Asked Nezu with caution.
"Nop, I don't hurt innocent people if you are asking that" He said, making the others relax "But if someone hurt my friends I'm gonna kick their asses"
"If you are not evil, then why are you a pirate?" Questioned Aizawa.
"Because I want to be free"
That answer left them speechless. It was a simple sentence but its implications were deeper than it appeared, and they were sure, deeper than he could understand. Or maybe he did, the seriousness in his face was making them doubt.
"So with your government, you feel you can't be free?" Luffy nodded again "Why?"
"Mmmmm..." Luffy pouted, thinking for a moment how to express what he wanted to say "Because they want to kill everyone that is on their way" He answered as he remembered some of his adventures, especially when they had to rescue Robin in Ennies Lobby.
"C-can you give us an example?" Said Nezu, still a little aback from Luffy's answer.
"Well, when she was a child, one of my nakamas saw her entire island being killed by the marines because they discovered something about our past history they didn't want to be known or something like that. They explained in to me after we rescued her from the marines but I don't remember much"
At this point, they started to think they should prepare for anything the kid has to say because his faces would get paralyze in a stunned expression at this rate.
"Whoa!" Exclaimed Yamada "And what did you do to rescue her" He asked genuinely curious about his answer.
He then gave them a huge smile "I declared war on them, what else"
And at that moment, they realized that this kid was going to surprise them either way, it doesn't matter how prepared they were.
Great loyalty to his friends. Good. Nezu wrote in the notebook
The brat has balls. Admitted Aizawa with a little smile.
I like this kid even more. Said Mic grining like an idiot.
Then Nezu remembered something. "Luffy, you said before you wanted to be the King of the Pirates, can you explain that to us?"
"AH! The King of the Pirates is the freest man in the world and that's my goal"
"And how do you become The King of the Pirates?"
"Finding the One Piece, the treasure that the first King of the pirates left in the last island of the Grand Line, Laugh Tale, before he died" He said with a concentrated face, as if he was struggling to remember all the details
"And anybody has found it?"
"No"
"And how many years had passed since his death?" Asked Hizashi.
"Mmmm, I don't know, but it was before I was born, and I'm eighteen or nineteen I think"
Eighteen? Well that is not a problem. His appearance and behavior make him look way younger. Nezu thought.
"And what is a Yonkou?" Asked Aizawa abruptly "You said you were one before the fight"
"Ah! Well, they are the four most important pirates after the Pirate King. After I fought Kaido in Wano I became one."
So Mr Luffy is that important. Who would have thought?
"Impressive, really impressive" Said Nezu waiting a moment to digest that information "Alrigth, now that we have a little more context of your world, can you tell us what is haki? You also mentioned conqueror's haki"
"Well..., it's difficult to say but old man Rayleigh said it was a mystery force that all people have and that it had three forms" Explained Luffy while Nezu was writing everything he was saying. "First, observation haki; with it you can sense everything around you and predict some attacks"
"So you sensed the villains before with that haki thing" Said an amazed Aizawa
"Yes"
"Amazing" Commented Hizashi
"Then it comes armament haki, it's like you use your will to make an armor around the part of your body that you want. Look!" He said raising his arm to let everyone see how it turned black. "You can punch harder with this. And with Ryou even more"
"But you did not use it in the fight from before" Said Aizawa.
"I didn't need it. Those guys were too weak so my Base Gear was enough to beat them"
"Base Gear?"
"Yes, I have five Gears because I ate a devil fruit; the Gum-Gum fruit and now I'm made of rubber" He said stretching his cheek "See?"
"Well, we'll leave that explanation for later" Said Nezu rubbing his head "Now you said there was a third type of haki, right?"
"Yes, that's conqueror's haki. But Rayleigh said you cannot learn this type of haki. You have it or not, and that very few people have it, including me. It uses my willpower to make the people who are not strong enough to get knocked out or just being paralyze" He said "You can also use it like the Ryou but it's difficult"
Each time he opens his mouth he manages to say something really astonishing. Thought Nezu.
"Now we can talk about that devil fruits, tell us about them"
"I don't really know much about them, just that they are mystery fruits that if you eat them they give you powers but then you can't swimn anymore. They also taste horrible, ugh!"
His answer earned a chuckle from the other people present.
"And like with haki, is there a classification for devil fruits?" Inquire this time Hizashi
"Yeah, and I think they also have three types; one of them gives you the power of an element like the mera-mera fruit of my brother, so you can't punch them without haki; the other transforms you into an animal, you can even turn into a dragon if you are lucky" He said remembering Kaido" And the last one is where my fruit is from, here goes every fruit that doesn't go in the other two types. Oh! And there is only one fruit per power so only when a devil fruit user dies the fruit appears again. Chopper explained that to me"
"It's so insteresting" Said Nezu. He wanted to let out one of his maniac laughs but he didn't want to scare the boy.
"So, you are just made of rubber?"
"Yes, it took me 7 years to be able to throw a decent punch"
"Then what we saw before was just your physical strength" Luffy nodded.
"Damn boy, you are full of surprises!" Said President Mic laughing.
"And the Gears you talked about later?" Asked Aizawa
"It's how I name my transformations"
"And each one is stronger than the previous one?" He nodded.
"And you said you have five" He nodded again and Nezu let out a deep sigh "Dear Lord. Well, we better continue there are still a lot of things to cover"
And just like that, they passed the next three hours trying to get a more global vision about Luffy's world.
At the end they get a rough idea that it was divided in four oceans or blues that are separated by the Grand Line, the Calm Belt and the Red Line, and all of them, with the exception of the Red Line, are full of islands.
Of course in this explanation Luffy also took the time to tell some of his adventures. From saving countries from a civil war to bring down tyrannical kings and liberate people from slavery, all his stories were so full of color and emotion that everyone was paying uninterrupted attention to the straw-hat boy. It came to the point that even Nezu stopped writing two hours ago to just listen and try to picture an unknown world through the eyes of the kid he had in front of him. Giants, mermaids, fish-men, amazons, dwarves, minks, sky islands, a giant elephant that walks on the ocean with a tribe on his back, an island made of cake, a ship-eating island full of monsters...; adventures and places that in their world would seem so impossible but felt so real when Luffy was telling them, that they could almost visualize them in their minds.
"Alright, Mr. Luffy we are about to finish"
"Finally, I am hungry again"
"It's okay, you can go to the cafetria again. But before, we need your opinion in another matter. You see, in this world 80% of the people have powers called Quirks that appear when children turn 4 years old. Here, you cannot use your powers without being a hero, and right now you are in the number one hero academy in Japan. So, do you want to enroll here and become a temporary hero until you can come back to your home?"
"No, I don't want to be a hero" He simply refused
That was not the answer they expected.
"Why?" Asked Aizawa
"Because heroes share their meat and I don't want to share mine"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Don't worry Luffy here you can keep all the meat to yourself HAHAHAHA" Assured Yamada as he kept laughing like a mad man.
"Really?"
"Yes, young Luffy" Said Nezu also trying not to laugh.
"Then, I'll be a hero"
"Perfect. The entrance exams will be in five days. In the writing exam we will help you, it's obvious that you haven't been prepared as the rest of the students that will take the test that day. Apart from that, I don't think you will need any assistance in the physical exam"
"Okay"
"Eh, Nezu?"
"Yes, Hizashi"
"Where is going to live Luffy from now on?" He shyly asked
"I was thinking in U.A., why?"
"Because..." He said looking at Aizawa, who just sighed and nodded lightly with a little smile on his face "...I was thinking he could come with us to our home, if he wants of course"
"Oh..." Said a surprised Nezu " And are you okay with that Aizawa?"
He affirmed it was no problem. "I already live with a noisy person I don't think it would make much difference to have another one"
"EY!"
"Well, Mr Luffy, do you want to live with Aizawa and Hizashi on their house?"
Luffy looked at them before answering "Why not, they seem nice. But I want to visit Lunchie before going. I am hungry, can I go?"
"Yes, you can go"
"YEEEIIII!" He exclaimed as he stood up and started running towards the cafeteria.
"Let's go with him Shota, I am sure Nezu also has other things to do"
"Okay. Goodbye, Nezu. And don't expect seeing me here until the entrance exams, with these two at home and at work I'll need all the rest I can get these days"
"Oh, come on! Don't be exaggerated" said Hizashi as he dragged his partner by his scarf "Bye, boss, see you soon" That was the last thing he heard before they closed the door.
Once he was sure he was alone he started to stretch his little body, trying to eliminate all the tension and stress he has been accumulating during the last few days.
"This is madness. A pirate from another world in U.A., who would've thought"
To relieve his fatigue before returning to his paperwork, Nezu poured himself a coup of tea and took out some cookies from his drawer.
He was going to take a sip when he heard his secretary speaking through the communicator.
"Yes?"
*Director, All-Might is waiting to see you. Do I let him pass?*
"Yes, tell him to come in, please" He said
*Yes, sir*
A few moments of silence passed until the door was slammed to the wall while a very well-known figure was entering his office. The big smile he was wearing reminded him now of a certain boy with a straw-hat that only fifteen minutes ago was sitting in front of him; it was then when his words were repeated in his head.
"No, I don't want to be a hero"
"Why?"
"Because heroes share their meat and I don't want to share mine"
However, this time he couldn't contain his laugh.
"Hello Nezu, why are you laughing?" Said the number one hero.
"Oh, it's nothing. I just remembered a joke. Ahem..." He cleared his throat "Well, so your successor is going to take the exam this year isn't he?"
"Yes, Young Midoriya is a little bit nervous but I know he will do well. He has a great potential"
"What a coincidence, I also met today a very promising future hero" Commented Nezu. "He even reminded me a little of you in your youth"
"Really?" Nezu nodded while standing up from his chair "Then I hope he will befriend Young Midoriya. What's he like?"
The principal only looked at him before starting to walk towards the big windows of his office "For now, all I can say is that he is probably the most interesting individual I have ever met" He replied with a soft smile on his face.

Evidently, there will be similar scenes in both fanfics because I will follow the same timeline as the other author; however 90% of the interactions and dialogues will be different as well as some original scenes I will add.
For now, my intention is to continue this until the War Arc in My hero Academia, where I plan to have all the strawhats, and maybe someone else.
Finally, I also want to mention that this will take place after Egghead Island and that Luffy's powers will be the same as in the manga at that point of the story(Until Gear 5) In the moment I am writing this, the arc previouly mentioned hasn't finish yet so if there is some power up for Luffy or any of the strawhats, or some type of revelation, it will be added to the story if I consider that fits with my plans.
