Chapter 1: Animal Trouble

It was during the nine-day/900-year training that it happened.

Zoro and the other men- take Polly and Eugene with them to train, leaving Luffy and Chopper alone with the girls. Nami and Sanji were out hunting.

Suddenly, Robin, Carrot, Muffy, Anne, Vivi, Olympia, Minerva, Vega 40, and Yamato were exhibiting traits of their respective Theo/Zoans.

"Er, what's going on?," asked Luffy as suddenly Vivi fired beams at him.

"What's the big idea?!," he asked.

Chopper saw Carrot devolve into a giant rabbit monster as she lunged at him.

He himself began to morph into a pinkish...trunk and tusked form with multiple arms.

Luffy began to laugh widely as he turned all white.

Vega 40 as a beaver began to eat through several of the trees.

Yamato flew into the sky.

Anne rammed into rocks.

Muffy breathed fire.

Olympia chased her own tail while flying.

Minerva stroked her beard as she groaned.

"What is going on?," asked Robin as she grew massive with blue skin.

"It's the air, it enhances Devil powers. It's going to take some time to control the inherent instincts.," she said.

"Instincts?," asked Robin.

Nami and Sanji

Nami turned to see that Sanji had butterfly wings and something else.

"You're...a girl...," she said as Sanji looked in a reflection and blushed.

He began to edge for a grope but stopped when Nami slapped him.

"Not while I'm around. I remember you doing it as me.," she said.

"Oh no, now I'm a girl. How am I supposed to fight?," the blonde asked.

Nami sighed.

"I don't wanna know. But maybe, it'll take some time to get used to it," she replied.

Zeus saw Sanji's new form and blushed.

"I wonder how Zoro would react to this...," Nami wondered aloud.

Sanji edged in for a kiss but Nami nonchalantly slapped him.

Zoro's Group

Eugene was looking from afar with dread as he saw Zoro as a multi-headed dragon, Usopp as a vaguely chameleon creature, Brook as a skeletal demonic figure, and Polly as a T-rex. They were currently too busy to focus on them as they lumbered around.

"So the parrot's a dinosaur...," Franky remarked from afar.

"It must be the air of this forest. It's better to wait till things get back to normal.," Jinbe said.

Franky and Eugene nodded.

The Next Day...

Jinbe, Eugene, and Franky were restless as the groups rejoined with Nami being annoyed.

"What's up with you guys?," asked the orangette.

The trio gave a collected groan as they looked to the side.

"How about you?," asked Eugene, which made Nami look to the side with a groan.

Luffy tilted his head in confusion.

"I don't remember last night.," he said.

Sanji looked at Zoro and said-

"Don't look at me at night with any funny ideas."

"I don't plan to.," he replied.

"The parrot's a dinosaur.," said Franky which made Luffy and Chopper go starry-eyed on Polly.

The parrot groaned as he was pulled around.

"It was an interesting experience.," said Robin.

Minerva groaned.

"Just a few more days...," she said aloud.

Later That Night...

Jinbe, Eugene, and Franky checked up on the other members-

Upon seeing Sanji as a woman checking himself, Luffy bouncing across the area, and the other members as giant Kaiju, they decided to turn in the other direction.

"I see...," said the Fishman.

"I see...," said the Pixie.

"I see...," said the cyborg.

They then walked away, not wanting to engage in the craziness.

Nami joined him as she sighed.

"Hope things go normal soon.," she said.

Next Chapter: The Mission

Author Notes: This is an in-story canon side event that didn't make it into the main story.

Not all chapters of this side story will be like this as they will explore other aspects of the characters. But expect a lemon from time to time.

It also reveals information that will become later in the main story.

I decided to rewrite it because it was too extreme and out of character for the time being. Besides, the results were much funnier this time around.
