"Hey there, everyone!" This is Dj Mary coming to you live from Goldrod City Radio Tower. Today I have with me some special guest stars.

Allow me to introduce them. I have with me in the studio the famous coordinators Dawn Berlizt and May Maple."

Dawn and May just waved sheepishly in response to the introduction. "Glad to be here?'" Dawn said nervously. "Hey, Mom and Dad? I am on the radio."

May said excitedly from her seat. Dawn and Mary just sweatdropped at this behavior. "May and Dawn, what led to your success as POkemon coordinators?"

Well, in my opinion, I would have to give props to the person who taught me how to train and battle with Pokemon." "Yeah, I agree with Dawn on that one." Dawn said, nodding at the brown-haired girl's statement.

"Oh, really, that was something I wasn't expecting. So who is the person who trained each of you? "Ash Ketchum." Dawn and May said in unison.

Dj Mary's eyes widened at this information. "You two were each trained by Ash?" "Yep, during the start of my career as a trainer. I didn't know anything relating to Pokemon when I first started my journey.

But when Ash saw me struggling at the start of my journey, he decided to help me. Eventually, it became apparent that I would need more than a few days of help.

So Ash asked me to journey with him around my home region. I quickly agreed as Ash was easy to get along with, and we had much in common. Like what for exactly? Dj Mary said, curious about what May and Ash had in common.

"For one thing, they both have the appetite of a Snorlax. Dawn said, giggling at what she said. May immendiately just grew red at this statement.

"Huh, never would have taken May to be a food guzzler like Ash." Dj Mary said, unable to hold back her giggling at the funny parallel between Ash and May.

"So, Dawn, why did you travel with Ash?" I thought traveling with Ash and Brock would be more fun." Oh, Brock was part of your group too?" He was also part of May's group, Ash, and her little brother."

May, still red in the face, just nodded at this statement. "Wow, I didn't think I would be meeting friends of Ash today?" "Wait, you know Ash?" Dawn and May asked in unison.

"Yes, I interviewed him in this very room. He was nervous at first. But I stopped the broadcast for a second and gave him some advice. After that, he spoke of his dream with such volume and confidence that I couldn't help but silently cheer for him."

"Well, Ash is not the attention type like most people." May gave her best guess as to why Ash acted like that. "Yeah, Ash isn't the type to want attention to himself.

He loves cheers and applause just as much as the next guy. But celebrity status attention wasn't something he liked all that much."

Dawn said, adding her two cents to the conversation. "Yeah, I got that impression when I saw how nervous he was." Mary agreed with Dawn's and May's impression of the young raven-haired trainer."

"So, what inspired you two to get into coordination?" "Well, it was my mother, Johanna Berliza." You mean the famous Sinnoh coordinator Johanna Berliza?." Dj Mary said with wide eyes.

"Yes, ever since I was a little girl, I couldn't help but admire my mother for what she did as a Pokemon coordinator. It didn't help that I have adored Pokemon contests since I was a baby.

When I learned that my Mom used to be a famous coordinator, I couldn't help but ask her to tell me stories of her time performing in Pokemon contests. My Mom just broke into a wide smile at this request.

She soon began telling me about every contest she ever participated in. Growing up with those stories, I couldn't help but want to one day do the same when I grew old enough to go on my Pokemon journey. "That's inspiring, Dawn!" Dawn just smiled at this.

Now, what about you, May? What inspired you to go into Pokemon contests?" "Well, I have to say it happened when I helped these two trainers, Janet and Chaz, train for their POkemon contest.

While I couldn't participate, I still couldn't help but be mesmerized by the practicality of Pokemon contests. Pokemon contests are not only about the strength and Power of their Pokemon.

But showing the beauty that is found in its execution."

"Hmm, that is very interesting, May." May smile at this statement. Then a beep started coming from Mary's headset. "Well, we have our first caller for the day.

So what is your question?" Mary asked the caller. However, it was soon replaced by confusion easily decorated on Mary's face.

"Okay, I will ask, but it is still strange. May this a question for you." Okay, shoot!" How did you get your forehead to be so big?"

This caused May's eyes to blink, in confusion before steam started shooting out of her ears, with her face soon becoming as red as a tomato berry.

"Oh, my forehead is big, is it, Max? Well, your ego is the size of a Snorlax. May quickly grabbed Mary's headset and put it on her head while shouting at her younger brother, who couldn't help but be heard laughing at his sister's reaction.

"Eh, I disagree, but everyone is entitled to their opinion." Max said snarkily on the phone. May couldn't help but grow even redder in the face, with flames soon erupting behind her at the statement made by her brother.

"Are you going to stop her?" Dawn asked Dj Mary. "Not at all. Fighting is a very normal occurrence in this building. Mary said sheepishly, rubbing her head. "Huh, I never would have expected this behavior from May."

"Well, fighting between siblings is quite normal for families." "Yeah, I guess it is." Dawn said, nodding at Dj Mary's words of wisdom. "Max, honey, what are you doing." A woman's voice said from Max's side of the line.

"Sorry. May I get go! Don't let your fat butt get stuck in the toilet seat like last time you were on tv." Max said, shutting off the phone while May couldn't help sprout horns from the statement made by her little brother.

Mary and Dawn couldn't help but laugh a little at the comment made by the younger Maple. "When I get my hands on that little brat. I am going to make him regret every second of humiliation he put me through."

May thought with a fiery vengeance. "Moments like these make me glad I am an only child." Dawn just nodded at this statement. "I want a recording of this broadcast to prove what my brother did to me."

May said, returning her normal appearance and returning her headset to Mary. Who eagerly accepted it and placed it back on her head as May returned to her seat.

"Well, that was an interesting occurrence, to say the very least. Now let's introduce our special guest. He's won the Unova league three times over the last year. He is ranked the strongest trainer in Unova, with the only trainers surprising him in skill and Power being the elite four and the Unova champion Alder. Folks, let's give it up for Virgil."

A fake round of applause was heard over the speakers as a young man with blond hair wearing a persimmon jacket with two pockets and white collars and short sleeves with a gray belt underneath.

Accompanied by a long teal undershirt, permission pants with white outlines, and black boots. Finally, on his left wrist was an Xtransceiver. Sitting between the two coordinators, the trainer/rescue just gave a friendly wave and smiled at the two trainers, who returned the gesture to Virgil.

"So Virgil, what is it like being the strongest trainer in the Unova region with only the elite four and champion being stronger?"

"Well, it is nice to be recognized as a strong trainer. I think the one thing every trainer wants is to be recognized for their skills." "So true." Dawn said, nodding at Virgil's words. May slowly follow behind her blue-haired friend.

"However, I would have never made it this far without the help of my Eevee team. They are the ones who deserve real credit for being strong. I just stand there giving orders to them." Virgil said with a laugh. Mary, Dawn, and May cannot help but laugh with the young blond-haired man.

"So Virgil, why haven't you challenged the elite four yet? All trainers who won a league were allowed to challenge the elite four."

I could challenge the elite four if I wanted to, but I don't. I am ready, just not yet. I have seen what the elite four I Unova are capable of and don't think I am at their level yet.

The only thing I would accomplish by challenging the elite four is putting my Pokemon in harm's way. Being a Pokemon trainer means knowing your strength, weaknesses, and, most importantly, your limits.

I don't doubt I could give the first member a run for their money. But that victory would be based more upon whose luck was better than a day. I couldn't imagine being proud of a victory like that, and neither could my Pokemon.

I would rather win because I am the better trainer and have stronger Pokemon. Not because I simple luck.!" Virgil said, his smile slowly disappearing and being replaced by seriousness.

"Wow, that's quite the thing to admit to the world." Dj Mary said, shocked by Virgil's reason for not challenging the Unova elite four. With May and Dawn mirroring the shocked expression on Mary's face.

"Yes, well, they say honesty is the best policy."Well, with that, let's go to the commercial. Said Dj Mary signing out for a short period for a commercial.
