I own nothing
On a quite normal street there was a very normal house. Inside this house is a very normal family. Accept one member of this family isn't exactly normal. Harry Potter the nephew of the Dursley family is a wizard who will be attending hogwarts for his 5th year. However on this day Harry will have the shock of his life. You see Harry isn't normal even for a wizard. Harry for as long as he can remember could see ghosts. And not the kinds of ghosts you would expect no these ghosts had chains protruding off of there chest. But today he pondered to himself about this. He wondered where this ability had originated it was while pondering that he saw her. She had black hair and wore an odd black robe and what looked to be a white robe under the black robe the last thing he noticed about the girl was the katana strapped to her side.
Harry decided to follow the girl who looked strange to him; he just hoped it would go off without a hitch. What Harry didn't realize is that the girl already knew he was there.
Harry's pov
I was following the odd girl when she took a left turn and ran back towards private drive. I rushed back only to see a giant with a bone mask to put it simply. I looked at the girl who looked at me with a look of realization on her face what she said next shocked me.
End Harry's POV
The girl looked at Harry and said "you can see me" it was a statement but Harry still answered "why am I not supposed to be able to see you" the girl looked astonished and said "you're the first person who's ever been able to if I'm being honest". Harry was astonished he smiled and said "well that's how my luck is sometimes. In fact knowing my luck I'll most likely end up taken your place". The girl had a look of surprise on her face then just attacked the creature. The creature attacked the girl and wounded her. The girl just looked at Harry and says "how were you able to see this coming before it even happened". Harry looked at her and says "I'll explain later just tell me how to help". The girl looked as if she was hardening her resolve and then said "take my sword and stab yourself with it". Harry did as he was told he took the girls sword and before stabbing himself he says "my name's Harry Potter". The girl responds with " the name is Rukia Kuchiki". Harry then proceeds to stab himself in the chest with the sword. Right after stabbing himself a giant beam of light shoots out of Harry's chest and a sword appears on his back while he is still holding Rukia's sword. Rukia was in shock that her sword had unlocked Harry's. Harry handed Rukia her sword back and simply said "again it's probably my luck". Rukia smirks and takes her sword and stands up. Harry smirks along with Rukia and both exclaim "Let's double team this bitch" the both of them exclaim at the same time. Harry and Rukia charge at the Hollow and cut off its arms before cutting the mask in half. Rukia looks at Harry and explains that she will request a post in the living world so that she can help Harry understand he duties as a soul reaper.
3 Minutes later
Rukia looks at Harry and says " so you wanna start explaining how you instantly knew there was a high chance of what happened happening". Harry sighs and then proceeds to explain his life story to Rukia. To say that Rukia was shocked would be an understatement. Hell even saying Rukia was mad would be an understatement. This wizarding world expects a teenager to fight their battles for them without help . Oh this would not due she had to help him after all he had helped her. Rukia knew she wanted to stay near Harry anyway why she may not know but what she did know was that she would help him no matter what. Rukia told him this much as well as explaining his duties as a soul reaper. Harry was in shock tha it was his job to send people to the afterlife and that he would have to fight hollows even if he is in the middle of a class. Harry sighs and explains that soon he will have to leave for hogwarts. Rukia smiles and then produces a soul phone which she hands to Harry. Rukia then says "that is a soul phone it's an important tool in finding hollows like the one we fought I'll try to get an indefinite mission so I can help but I can't make any promises". Harry nods and says "I'll be leaving for the black estates tonight if I hear of a hollow then I'll go after it". Rukia nods and then smiles and leaves.
