Chapter 1: The Recap

Dear Diary

It's me again, Star Strong

So much has happened, I don't even know where to begin.

I guess I will start with the most important fact. I am STILL the proud and loving girlfriend to the most amazing guy in all of Amity Park...No, the world!

Danny Fenton.

Yes, me and my Danny-Boo are still together and as much in love as ever. He really is my knight in tight, spandex armor. Every day I find myself falling more in his spell, and I'm loving every moment of it!

We also had more adventures together, but that's just a part of me and my Boo's own version of a normal life.

Here is the abridge version of what we have been up to lately. Aside from the typical stuff and mishaps that we encounter due to living in the most haunted town on Earth and our...hobby...me and my true love had our hands full with other events, especially with an obnoxious witch who insists of remaining a huge thorn in our side and the biggest nuisance in our otherwise perfect, happy relationship.

Colette.

Yeah, that witch was up to her old tricks again.

A while back, we all did a play "A Midsummer's Night Dream" and me and Danny got the roles of Hermia and Lysander. Sure, Danny only joined the play in order to get some extra credit in order to go to some space convention and I only joined the play to protect my man from that lousy, boy-crazy witch who keeps sniffing around him and would have no doubt used the play as an excuse to harass him even more.

I couldn't let that happen, so naturally I tried out and got the part and to add insult to injury, Colette got cast as my understudy, which she took as a massive insult.

I guess she just can't handle the idea of being second banana to me. Oh well, stinks to be her!

However, she couldn't stand it and kept trying to find a way to steal both Danny and the spotlight away from me, but she failed each time. However, she wasn't the BIGGEST issue we dealt with in the play before me and Danny made our acting debut during this STAGED play.

Long story short, we encountered a prankster with a lot of power and too much free time on his hands...one who has a personal fondness for the play and also a REALLY short temper to anyone who doesn't respect it...something that Sam learned the hard way after she tried to take a rather..."unique" approach to her character in the play...one that the prankster didn't agree on and made that clear.

Anyway...after a lot of chaos, confusion and eventual compromises, Danny and I managed to perform on stage without any more interference and the show was a success without Colette there to bother us. Danny and I managed to get what we wanted and it was a real fun experience in hind sight.

Even better, I met up with Christopher again...Sure, it was pretty...COMPLEX during that entire time, as I was pretty much terrified to face him and was gathering the courage to even speak to him after everything that happened between us...but after a lot of misunderstandings, arguments, tears, fights and finally compromises, he and I managed to have a LONG, OVERDUE talk.

There, I finally managed to apologize for release a lot of guilt and self-shame that I've felt for such a long time. I apologized for that stupid mistake I made in middle school for turning my back on him when he needed me. I'm not gonna lie...I cried as I apologized as I finally let out all those feelings I was bottling up and pretty much begged for his forgiveness, but also explaining that I understood if he wouldn't give it to me.

To some miracle, Christopher actually listened and didn't push me away as I did that.

Once we talked and brought several points up, we both agreed to start over. He made it clear that he's not ready to forgive me but he says he wants to give me another chance and...I pretty much cried in happiness that he didn't push me away again.

So yeah, Christopher and I are on speaking terms again and we've made an effort to repair our family relationship. I'd be lying if I said that we were best friends now, but at least he doesn't hate me anymore and we've hung out and talked more.

I feel so happy to finally have him back in my life, even if we don't have that friendship we had as kids now. However, I'm hopeful that in time, we can one day have that again.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, or maybe not, but I'm happy for this much and I owe a lot of that thanks to the support of my Danny-boo and a certain trickster who did me a solid to make up for a mix up he caused.

Anyway, yeah...that play and the thing with Chris was nuts but it wasn't the only major adventured we had.

Not long after that, me and Danny tried to get back to "normal" lives. However, a certain witch with hair extensions and one envious girl made things more complicated between us but regardless, I ended up feeling more EMPOWERED and managed to show that they are no match for me, especially with my Boo by my side.

So yeah, that's how life has been so far.

Things with Danny are as wonderful as ever, Val is still my best friend, I'm still on good terms with Sam, Tucker and Jazz and Christopher is no longer giving me the cold shoulder.

Yeah, things are pretty good right about now and I just know that they are gonna get better.

Star had just finished writing that last bit in her diary. Once done, she sighed happily and felt both content and refresh.

Writing in her diary was always a good way to relieve stress and she always ended up feeling lighter afterwards.

"Until next time..."She thought, before placing it under her mattress.

Once done, she got a text message. She checked it and giggled when she saw that it was from her ghostly Prince Charming.

"Hey Starlignt, I'm on my way. Can't wait to see you..."Was read.

Star smiled. Danny was on his way to pick her up for a date. They were gonna see a movie around 6 and he was just now on his way.

The blonde girl giggled to herself and began texting him back.

"Okay, I'll be waiting. Love you, Boo..."She texted back.

"Love you two, Milady..."Was texted back.

Star giggled and felt happy before she began to get ready for the arrival of her ghostly knight in spandex armor.

15 minutes later

Star was now waiting by the alley way near her house.

She told her Dad and Georgia that she was going to the movies with Danny. They said it was alright, but reminded her to be back in time for curfew, which she promised.

Now she was waiting for her man. After another 2 minutes, she glanced at her watch.

"I wonder what's keeping Danny. I hope he's okay..."She thought.

Thankfully, her man then appeared and landed before her.

"Hey, Starlight..."Danny said, greeting her with that adorable smile on his.

"Hey, Boo..."Star said before kissing him upon greeting.

Once she pulled away, she started asking questions.

"Who was it this time?..."She asked, already suspecting he was late because of a ghost.

"Yeah, sorry I was late but apparently Johnny 13 got into another spat with Kitty and she kicked him out of their real. So, for whatever reason...he tried to take it out on me. I spent the last 10 minutes dealing with him and the Dork of Darkness before I managed to get them both into the thermos..."Danny explained.

Star rolled her eyes.

"Johnny and Kitty fought AGAIN?! Geez, how many time can two people fight, split up and then get back together?! I mean, seriously?! Is couple's counseling really not a thing in the Ghost Zone?..."She asked, not impressed by the ghostly couple's latest tiff.

"Either that, or they are too stubborn to actually get some help..."Danny said, before sighing. "Let's not talk about them anymore...all I want is to have a fun, stable date with my fun and stable girlfriend..."Danny said, smiling at her.

Star smiled back.

"Can do, Danny-Boo..."She said cutely, ready for their date.

Danny smiled and picked her up bridal style. He soon took to the skies, carrying his loving girlfriend in his arms. Star smiled widely as she held onto her ghostly boyfriend while they were on their way to start their date.

"It doesn't get any better than this..."Star thought, enjoying being in her man's arms as he carried her while they soared in the air.

The blonde girl felt happy and at peace as she began to enjoy an evening full of fun date activities, ghost butt kicking and sharing it all with the guy of her dreams.

Yeah, she felt that nothing could spoil this wonderful feeling that she was having right now.

Meanwhile

Far away from Amity Park

The sun had just gone down and New York's nightlife had just begun. The famous city that never sleeps was as full of life as ever. However, someone wasn't thinking or caring about that.

A car with TINTED windows had arrived to a fancy looking estate. However, someone got out of it and soon went to a nearby green house...one that had hundreds of blood blossoms in bloom.

It was an old man, who seemed to be in his 60's and was wearing a dark robe, was carrying a bag with some Chinese symbols on it. The person soon entered the green house, carrying the bag inside as he was soon facing the person whom contacted him.

"Were you followed?..."Someone inside asked, clearly sounding anxious and unhinged.

It was an old woman wearing a cloak and holding a bat for some reason. The man saw this and raised a brow.

"No, I wasn't followed Mrs. Traville..."He said, as the person who contacted him was the infamous Beatrice Traville.

The old woman, who's clearly seen better days, had her hair a bit mussed and heavy bags under her eyes from some sleepless nights and days spent feeling paranoia and anxiety.

However, once she heard this, she let out a sigh of relief.

"Good...now did you get what I ordered? Also, it's MADAME Traville..."She corrected.

"Sorry..."The guy said, before taking something from the bag he was carrying.

It was a box with Chinese symbols on it, as well as multiple skulls and bats decorating it.

"Here it is, Madame Traville. Just as you ordered...the Bǎowēn xiāng..."The guy said, looking proud as he presented it to the old woman.

Beatrice gasped and looked overjoyed, as if she had just came across her salvation.

"Finally... now go..." She said, grabbing the box and admiring it. "Just what I needed..."She said, before handing the men a large sum of money.

It was somewhere in the neighborhood of 10K, but the old woman didn't care.

"Tell no one about this. If you do, I'll buy your work place and have you fired!..."She ordered, wanting to him to leave already as she finally got what she wanted.

Not questioning a large pay, the man took the money and left her with her purchase. Once he was gone, the old woman let out a laugh of relief and triumph as she truly felt more energetic than she's felt in a long time.

"All long last! My salvation is here and my suffering will soon be over!..."She exclaimed as she closed the door of the green house and made sure that no one was around.

Her husband was visiting one of his old business colleagues and she ordered all of her servants not to disturb her while she was here. Now she was alone and she could move forward with her plan.

Opening the box as fast as she can, she sighed in relief upon seeing it.

It was something that she had special ordered from New York's Chinatown district, it was the fabled Bǎowēn xiāng, the holding box.

It was said to capture spirits and she figured this was the perfect trap for Danny Phantom if he ever came after her or if he sent anymore of his wicked minions to torment her...like that latest one who drove her mad for almost an entire week and made all her servants and even Richard think that she was going crazy.

"Who's crazy now?!..."She said to herself with a large smirk on her face as she admired the box and knew what it could mean for her and how she can deal with that abomination who's been plaguing her nightmares for months.

She could use this, trap him in here forever, and get back to making sure Star would marry into the Loadman family or any other wealthy bloodline to make sure her descendants stay on top, just as they should.

"Finally...that horrid Phantom and his minions will no longer torment me and I will regain control of the family! And I can finally STOP spreading those blood blossom and salt all around my precious mansion!..."She thought, smirking widely as she felt confident that her life will FINALLY go back to normal.

However, as she eyed the object, she was confused on what to do next.

"Now... how does this thing work?..." She asked upon pressing some kind of button.

The box opened up, kicking up a cloud of dust in her face and making her cringe and sneeze from all the filth. As she covered her face and coughed, she didn't see three wisps fly out. She just kept coughing and getting angry at dust landed on her clothes.

"I told them to clean this stupid thing! Such lousy service!..." She said before opening her eyes, seeing it empty. "So... how does this work?" She asked out loud, not seeing the wisps behind her.

She eyed the object with both curiosity and frustration, wondering how it was going to work for her.

"Do I keep it open? Do I say a magic word? Do... have to light candles? Do I wait for that horrid ghost kid to come her or should I go to him to make this work?..." She asked, growing impatient. "Why did the old man not tell me how it works?!..."She shouted, desperate and irritated to get this to work.

"I should have paid that fool to do this FOR me! I'm going to call him to get back here and do so..."She grumbled as she reached for her cell phone.

Unfortunately for her, someone heard this and seemed pleased by this development.

"You hear that?..." Someone behind her asked, causing her to freeze in terror. "She don't know how it works!..."That same voice was heard again, and the it sounded amused and relieved at the same time.

"She don't look like no magic person, like the old timers who put us there..." Another went.

"This'll be easier than we thought..." A third went, laughing sinisterly.

The old woman heard this and became pale as she felt a sudden cold and began to tremble in fear. She dropped her cell phone and damaged it, not that she noticed just yet as terror began to consume her.

"N-No..."She let out, petrified with fear right now.

Beatrice slowly turned her head and, upon seeing who or what was behind her, she froze.

"Boo!..."Was heard.

It was then that Beatrice finally reacted...by letting out a piercing shriek.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!..."She screamed at the top of her lungs before she saw darkness and fainted into the land of unconsciousness.
