Walking with Wanda, the two of us looked around as a bunch of teens talked amongst them selves, each of them having fun. "This is some going away party." I muttered, seeing the parents all gathered together, talking amongst them selves.

"You need to relax." Wanda said, looking in the distance, with me looking at where she was looking. We saw Lorna talking amongst her friends, and it looked like she was having a good time. "Tomorrow, she truly begins to learn how to control her powers." She whispered, hugging my arm as she looked at her sister with pride.

"She may be going to the Xavier Institute, but I don't want her going out to battle like the rest." I said, with her nodding her head as we just wanted her to be safe. "We've seen what Magneto could do, imagine if she was like him, two of him would mean the end of the world." I said, with Wanda kissing my cheek.

"Calm down, Charles has already agreed to never let that happen. He's actually glad that she's lived a good life, and after she completes school with him, she can return." Wanda said, making me face her.

"You're right, I just cant stop thinking about the world that she grew up in, being the last survivor and all." I said, with her nodding.

"Its sad, to know that she's the last person in the world." She said, with my phone going off. "I thought you turned it off?" She asked, just as confused as I was.

"I did, but Clint has a way to get in contact with me incase of an emergency." I said, pulling out my phone and answering it. "Dakota speaking." I said, looking over at Lorna, who just turned over to face us and waved.

"Dakota, Clint is dying." I head, shocking me.

"Where are you?" I asked, completely serious and pissed off.

"Los Vegas, they couldn't move him from the hospital." She said, with me looking at Wanda.

"I'll be there as soon as I can!" I said, hanging up.

"What is it?" Wanda asked, with me kissing her.

"Clint is in the hospital, they don't think he has much longer!" I said, with me walking over to the car.

"I'll come with you!" She said, grabbing my arm.

"No, stay here for the both of us, she wants you here more than me!" I said, grabbing her shoulders. "I will be back in a couple of days, I love you!" I said, kissing her again and making my way to the car, with me driving off.

Later, outside of Los Vegas

As I drove, I had the radio on, just incase something happened. Seeing a car drive pass, I recognized the driver. 'Natasha?' I thought, looking in the mirror. Turning around, I started following her. Pressing a button on the wheel, The passenger seat leaned all the way back and opened, reviling my bow and arrows. 'You wouldn't be here without reason.' I thought, narrowing my eyes at the car ahead, with me killing the lights.

Later

I had seen her stop, with me making a detour and getting to high ground. Once on a rock, I had taken my bow and arrow, with me taking aim down at her. I watched as another car pulled up, with her stepping out, holding an arrow in her hand. Using the scope, I zoomed in on it, with me seeing blood on the tip. That wasn't the only thing, the feathers on the end were the same that Clint used.

Seeing her holding it up, the others got out, with me looking over at them. 'H.Y.D.R.A.' I thought in shock, not expecting her to be a traitor of all things. Sitting up, I shot an arrow, with it hitting the case that was in one of their hands. They looked at me in shock, with me sliding down the rock, staying in the shadows.

"You lied to us, Hawkeye is not dead!?" One of the other members said, with me aiming at all three of them with three arrows.

"No, this is not Hawkeye." Natasha said, aiming her wrists at me. "This is his student, an ex-agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." She said, with me narrowing my eyes at her.

"Why did you do it, why did you kill him?" I asked, pissed off at her. "You two were partners, you were there for the birth of his kids!?" I yelled, gritting my teeth at her. "You sicken me!?" I said, with her stepping forward.

"Why did you do it? You were the one who killed Clint, even after all he's done for you, you would even join H.Y.D.R.A. to get back at S.H.I.E.L.D.?" She said, confusing me.

"What are you talking about, what's going on Widow?" I asked, with me seeing her turning around and shooting the H.Y.D.R.A. agents. Seeing a light flash on me, I turned to look up, with me seeing the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier. As soon as I turned, I was shot in the back, knocking me down.

Few hours later

Opening my eyes, I looked up and saw Nick Fury standing before me, his one eye glaring daggers. "You dare become an agent of H.Y.D.R.A.?!" He yelled, slamming his hands down on the table.

"What?" I asked, still confused on what was going on. "Fury, you know me I would never-"

"I saw you, you attacked the Black Widow, who went out for answers after she saw you leave him to die!" He said, shocking me.

"I wasn't there, I was-"

"This conversation is over." He said, standing up and not letting me explain myself. "You are going to The Vault, from there, you will spend the rest of your life in hell." He said, with me standing up, my hands cuffed to the table.

"Wanda will look for me, she will questioned what happened!?" I yelled, with him looking back at me.

"Right now, she is more worried about the Xavier Institute blowing up." He said, shocking me as he closed the door.

"What the hell does that mean, what's happening Fury, TELL ME!?" I yelled, with the room filling with gas, knocking me out.

One year later, The Vault

Throwing a rock at the wall, it hit the ceiling and came back at me. It was the only thing that I could do, with no way to escape, no word from Wanda or the others. It was like they erased me from reality. I wanted to know what was happening out in the world, I wanted to know what happened to Natasha, most of all Wanda and Lorna.

Seeing the lights flicker on and off, I frowned as this wasn't normal. Standing up, I watched as my cell door was opened. Stepping out, I looked around and saw the other cells were opened as well. 'This is bad.' I thought, with me looking around as all hell broke lose. Seeing a bunch of villain's following The Living Laser, I followed, knowing where each and every one of them was heading.

Later, the Weapons Vault

Seeing The Living Laser cut a hole in the door, I stood in the back, not wanting to draw attention to my self. Once the door fell, he held his arms open. "Come on in boys, the stores open!" He said, with me running in with the others and gathering my bow and arrow.

Looking over at Chemistro, I ran up to him and punched him in the face, knocking him out as he started putting on his gear. "I don't think so." I said, kicking him in the gut to insure that he stayed down. Looking at Whiplash as she turned to me, I got into a fighting stance, with her swinging her whip at me. Blocking it with my bow, I was pulled towards her, with me kicking her in the face, knocking her down as well. 'Two down, the rest of the prison to go.' I thought, with me walking over them and leaving the storage room.

Later

Seeing the exit door open, I started shooting the ones who made a run for it. Not all of them made it, but a good majority of them did. Hearing an explosion behind me, I looked up and saw Iron Man. "Whiplash, arrow guy, say good night!" Iron Man said, shocking me as he shot a repulser blast at me. I jumped out of the way at the last second, but the blast had sent me flying a good distance.

Standing up, I watched Iron Men getting tossed around like a toy, making me narrow my eyes at Blizzard, Crimson Dynamo, The Living Laser, and Whiplash. Shooting the back of Crimson Dynamo, three arrows stuck in, followed by an explosion that knocked all four of them away from Iron Man. Seeing him tackle Crimson Dynamo out of the smoke, I watched as he turned to me. Giving him a nod, I made my escape, knowing that we had to get out of here in this situation.

Three days later

Hopping over the fence, I made my way into the barn. Once there, I heard kids playing, with me making my way over to the desk. Pressing the button under the desk, the ground opened up, with me seeing Clint's old gear. Walking over to the arrows, I started picking them, but stopped once I heard the sound of a gun. "Turn around, slowly!" I heard, with me letting the arrow I had in my hand go, where I turned to face Laura. "S.H.I.E.L.D. said that you were the one who killed him." She said, with me holding my hands up.

"You and I both know that's not true." I said, with her relaxing.

"You're right, I know." She said, lowering her gun. "You know, don't you?" She asked, with me nodding my head as she started walking up to me. "You give them a message from me." She said, shoving the gun into my chest. "The Barton's will not stand for this. You find them, and you kill them!" She said, walking over to the door. She stopped once she grabbed the handle, looking over at me. "Clint was retiring the next month, he was passing on the torch to you." She said, with me facing her.

"I figured that, with you two starting a family." I said, looking out the window at the two kids running around. "What happened to Wanda?" I asked, with her sighing.

"She moved to Genosha with her family. No humans in, so its impossible for you to get there without getting killed." She said, pulling out a small cube and flipping it. "This is how she keeps in touch with me, I was told to never tell her where you were." She said, looking from the device to me. She put it away, then grabbed a tarp over a bike and ripped it off. It wasn't a bike, but it was something far better.

"Last I heard, the Hawkcycle was still in testing." I said, walking over to it and placing my hand on it.

"It was, and once they finished it, they gave it to us just incase we wanted to relight the flame." She said, with me looking at her. "He would want you to have it, it is Hawkeye's after all, Hawkeye." She said, smiling at me as she said that.

I walked up to her, and gave her a hug, one that she returned. "I will bring his killer in, no matter what, they will pay for what they did." I said, breaking the hug and making my way over to the gear once more.

Two days later

Swimming out of the water, I was wearing Clint's old Hawkeye gear. Walking onto shore, I removed the breather and looked up at the giant castle that was before me. Pulling out my bow, I shot a arrow at the top and pulled myself up. Reaching the walkway, I started walking, acting like everything was normal. Seeing a spider mutant walk up to me, he had his eyes on me, with me waving at him. "You the one patrolling up here?" I asked, with him raising an eyebrow at me.

"Who are you, we only have one patroller up here, answer before I melt your skin off!?" He said, with me shaking my head.

"I'm actually from the lower levels, I thought I saw something suspicious but was proven wrong." I said, showing him the same arrow that I shot up here. "It was one of my arrows from my training, I thought I lost it, some how it got stuck up here." I said, patting him on the shoulder as I passed him. "I'm heading back down, nothing to worry about." I said, with me facing him. "Hey, any idea where the princesses are?" I asked, with him thinking about it.

"Probably in the gardens by this time of day." He said, with me nodding. "Why, going to flirt with the Red Queen?" He taunted, with me shrugging.

"Maybe, I was just curious after all." I said, with me walking down the stairs. After reaching the next floor, I walked into a large room, with me rubbing my head as I found a maid. "Hey, sorry, I'm new here, I'm supposed to be watching over the Gardens, could you point in the right way?" I asked, with the bird faced mutant turning to me, where she nodded.

"The sky view of the Garden in one floor down, side." She said, with me nodding at her while clapping my hands together.

"Thank you, I bumped into that grumpy spider guy, he said find it your self." I said, turning around to leave.

"Marcus is like that." She said as I walked out and went down another floor. After walking down the long hall, I looked out one of the windows and saw two girls, one in green and the other in red.

Reaching the watch point, I tapped the guy on the shoulder, gaining his attention. "Hey, go take a break, I've got this." I said, with him nodding and vanishing in light. Stabbing an arrow into the side, I climbed over and slid down.

Before I reached the ground, I jumped off to avoid the bush, with me landing on the pavement. Standing up, I walked over to the two and saw them reading a book, with me leaning my head between the two. I couldn't help but smile as they read one of my favorite books.

"Robin Hood!" I said, with both girls jumping. "I knew you liked it!" I said, with both of them jumping up and facing me. "Miss me?" I asked, with Wanda's eyes widening in shock.

"You're alive?" She asked, with me raising an eyebrow at her.

"I died?" I asked, patting my self down. "I thought Fury locked me away for a year!?" I said, pinching my own cheek. "Ow, no, I'm alive!" I said, rubbing my cheek.

"Dakota?" Laura asked, with me looking at her.

"You are the spitting image of your future self, almost anyways." I said, taking a thinking pose. "You're just missing Magneto's helmet and cape, also short hair." I said, with her looking at Wanda.

"You shouldn't be here, if my father finds out-"

"And he won't!" I said, hugging her as she had walked up to me while lecturing me. "I'm only here to check up on you two." I said, kissing her head before breaking the hug. "I have to go after Clint's killer, and once I've finished that, I'll come back for you." I said, placing my forehead against hers. "No one, not even Magneto, can keep us apart." I said, breaking apart from her.

"You were gone for so long, where were you, you mentioned something about Fury locking you away?" She questioned, with me nodding.

"Ya, Natasha is working with H.Y.D.R.A., a bunch of Nazis from World War Two." I said, shocking her. "She's the one who killed Clint, a I don't want you telling Laura about that, I know you've been keeping in touch with her!" I said, with her blushing. "I know about the mutant hunter's as well, and I'll be sure to take care of them as well, because what they are doing, will just lead to the sentinel program again." I said, with me looking at Lorna. "Don't tell your father that I was here, I know he seems good now, but something tells me that won't last." I said, looking back at Wanda. "I have to go, and I miss you already." I said, kissing her on the lips, which she returned. "I'll save the world again, just you wait!" I said, with me making my way back to the watch point and pulled myself back up, before sneaking my way back out of Genosha.
