Somewhere, sometime, a small blue box stopped. Suddenly. So suddenly, in fact, that the person at the controls thought: She can't be broken again, now can she? Bracing herself with her feet, she looked at a small screen. She saw nothing. Just a void. The person was visibly startled and said: "Why?".
Then, a light arced across the dark void. Then another. Soon the void was full of those lights, sickly green in color. She gasped in disgust and turned her back on the screen, only to find Something facing her. IT was large. IT was also very ugly-looking. IT gave her an ugly look. She looked daggers at it and scowled. IT pressed an ugly green button she was sure hadn't been there before IT arrived. "What are you doing to my TARDIS?" she snapped.
"Silence!" IT snarled.
"What did you do to my TARDIS?" she growled. IT was getting on her nerves.
"SILENCE BEFORE THE GREAT MAKLUNOS OF KLARN, INSOLENT LITTLE WORM!" IT shouted harshly.
"The great whatever will now shut its mouth! I'm the Doctor, this is my TARDIS, and what are you doing here, MAY I ASK?" she growled, fed up with this annoying, egotistical, non-listening thing.
The annoying, egotistical, non-listening Thing whacked her on the head with a large, scaly, and generally unpleasant-looking claw. The Doctor fell to the floor in a heap. The Thing fiddled with various things on the console for a bit, then vanished. The TARDIS started to fall, then stopped, then started a sidelong, careening fall into (apparently) nowhere. Somewhere in the depths of the TARDIS, a bell was ringing insistently.
