Easter Island, 1440 AD.
The TARDIS materialised on an island.
The mysterious traveler through Time and Space known only as the Doctor came out of it.
He had now the appearance of a Japanese teenager with white messy hair, greyish eyes and was wearing a white shirt, green jeans and a dark green and red ragged long hoodie.
He was feeling sad recently, he was still recovering from the departure of two of his companions, Hajime Hinata and Natsumi Kuzuryu.
The only companion he now had was Angie Yonaga, a girl from 5000 BC Polynesia. She had tanned skin, round blue eyes and white hair tied in two wavy ponytails. Her clothes were quite revealing: A light blue/white frilly bikini top, showing she was quite stacked, a light blue skirt and a yellow vest covering her.
Angie tried her best cheering the Doctor up, even trying to convert him to her religion, the cult of Atua, but unsuccessfully. So, she asked him to go on an island to make him relax.
"Aah…It feels like home!" Angie said, happily.
"Well, it's an island near your home period, after all." The Doctor commented, saddened.
"Cheer up, Doctor! We're gonna have a divine experience here! Nyahahaha!" Angie said.
"Alright, let's go." The Doctor followed her. "Maybe I shouldn't be like that, Angie really wants me to be happy…" he thought.
But either way, something will happen on this island. Something that will give more Hope to the Doctor to continue.
The two walked through the "forest" (since there was little to none trees on the island and the only forest there was quite small), in that meantime, Angie thought about a way to please the Doctor.
Then, they arrived at what seemed to look like a village, with the children playing in the streets and the adults minding their businesses and chatting.
"Oh~! It seems lively!" Angie commented. "Wanna visit it?"
"...Whatever." the Doctor said, still bored.
The two entered the village and were given quite a warm welcome.
One of them, a man with a blue vest, approached the duo, while the other villagers bowed down in front of him.
"Welcome, visitors!" he spoke. "I am Hirini Witika, the chief of this village."
"Ya-hah! I'm Angie, and he's the Doctor!" Angie said.
"Hello, I'm the Doctor."
"Well then, "Doctor" and Angie, you may stay in our village as much as you wish." Hirini said.
The Doctor looked around, at the villagers who were looking at them. Something felt…Off, but he didn't know what.
So, he and Angie hung around the village, while the latter tried in every way to cheer him up by playing games with the villagers, eating exotic food and more.
The night arrived, the Doctor and Angie (with the white-haired girl's request) slept together. The Time Lord couldn't sleep, he still felt something was wrong here and the fact that there was an uncanny mystery…Excited him.
So, without waking Angie up, he left the little hut they were staying in.
He walked away and found the Maori statues, the most famous monuments in Easter Island.
The sonic screwdriver revealed a signal nearby those statues.
"Weird, this signal sounds like an SOS in Morse Code." he thought.
He found the source of the signal. It was the biggest of the maori statues.
"Huh, it was quite easy." The Doctor thought.
Suddenly, a rumble manifested under the statue revealing to be an elevator.
"Oh…This is getting interesting." He said to himself.
The elevator arrived at its destination. down the island, there was some sort of fabric entirely made of metal, completely anachronistic for the time period.
The Doctor heard some noises approaching him, so he hid behind the statue.
The two beings arrived on the elevator, the Doctor peeked outside and saw…Cybermen, or at least, what seemed to be Cybermen. Some parts of them were metallic, some human and some…wooden.
"Great, I cannot even use the sonic screwdriver against them." the Doctor thought.
The "Wooden Cybermen" didn't notice the Time Lord and left.
The Doctor left his hiding place. "That would explain why there aren't any trees on Easter Island." He thought. He felt weirdly happy at finding out about this place and so he continued investigating.
In the meantime, the villagers started behaving more and more uncanny, ominously approaching the hut where Angie was still sleeping.
The native girl woke up, hearing some strange noises around the hut. She went outside to check the noise, not finding anything. She was going to return to sleep but suddenly many hands grabbed her, covering her mouth.
Meanwhile, the Doctor continued investigating, without getting noticed. He saw that all the Cybermen down there were made partially with wood. They were all bringing materials to a central temple. The Doctor approached the temple and noticed that someone was tied into it: Angie.
"CYBERLEADER. WE-HAVE-FOUND-A-PRIESTESS." One of the Cybermen spoke.
The "CyberLeader", the Cyberman with the most wooden parts, analysed Angie. "100%-HUMAN-WITH-BLESSING-POWERS. PERFECT-SACRIFICE-FOR-THE-CYBERGOD."
"THE-CYBERIAD-SHALL-RULE-OVER-THE-MULTIVERSE. ALL-HAIL-THE-CYBERIAD!"
"ALL-HAIL-THE-CYBERIAD!" All the Cybermen present near the temple saluted.
"Cybergod? Multiverse? What are they talking about?" the Doctor thought. "Well, I can think about that later, I need to save Angie." The Time Lord looked around, to find a better way to take Angie and escape. Then, he managed to find a plan, and executed it.
He waited near a column for a Cyberman to approach it and destabilised it with his sonic screwdriver.
"Now, I presume all of these Cybermen are also connected through a neural network, so if I manage to send a signal from that Network…I could have enough time to free Angie and leave this place." He thought. Then, he realised one thing by looking at where he was: It looked like they were in a volcano. Plus, the place where Angie was tied was where the magma should be inside the crater. So, he cracked a eerie smile and began his plan.
The Doctor sent a signal that managed to hide his presence to them. He reached Angie in a rush and tried freeing her.
"Doctor!" Angie said, glad to see the Doctor saving her. "Oh, may Atua bless you, I knew you would have saved me!"
"Enough with the thanks! When I say run, run." The Doctor finished untying Angie. "RUN!"
The two ran away, attracting the attention of the Cybermen.
" -RECOGNISED-AS-THE-DOCTOR-HAS-APPEARED. CAPTURE-AND-CONVERT-THE-DOCTOR."
A group of Cybermen began chasing the TARDIS duo, shooting their lasers at them.
The Doctor managed to take some Cybermen down by reprogramming their weapons with his sonic screwdriver, making them shoot themselves.
The two managed to run in the TARDIS, which dematerialised the moment they entered.
"What should we do?" Angie asked. "We're not leaving…Are we? Those shiny people…Atua said to me that they'll do evil things!"
"... Don't worry, they will not. I gave them a…Pleasant surprise." The Doctor said, his voice was a mix of regret and coldness.
You see, the signal the Doctor sent not only hid his presence from the Cybermen for some time, it also activated a timer for a bomb that made the volcano erupt.
The magma was released, running over everything it faced, the Cyberman base, the forest, everything. Luckily, the lava didn't hit the village and, since the Cybermen on the island were destroyed, they were now free from their control.
Angie noticed the Doctor's look on his face, and held his hand gently. "Are you okay?" she asked.
The Doctor smiled. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you. Now…Where do you wanna go?"
"Anywhere you want!" Angie cheered up.
"Splendid! Let's go!"
The Doctor pulled down the lever, and the two went for exciting adventures.
