It was early in the morning of October 11th after the Kyuubi attack that had taken place the night before. The Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi was in his office sorting through paperwork about the village thinking about how to go about things regarding a Naruto Uzumaki. In the attack of the Nine-Tails, among the losses they had was the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze along with his wife Kushina Uzumaki who was the previous Jinchuuriki for him until a masked man infiltrated the village where he knew Kushina was giving birth. Because of the birth, the seal for the Kyuubi was weakened and gave the masked man the opportunity to release it onto the village while Minato dealt with the masked man and later on sealing the Kyuubi into his newborn son. What he didn't know until he got to them was to hear Minato and Kushina talking to the Kyuubi as if they were friends with it and the Kyuubi was trying to fight the control the masked man had over him, but was forced to fight them. The Kyuubi asked to be sealed into their son, so he could watch over and protect him which surprised Hiruzen completely. He knew that Minato had a Sharingan which could be used for the boy when he awakened them and would need the transplant for his eyes when he became blind. At this point, he had called Kakashi Hatake and Obito Uchiha who had come back after being declared dead to inform him of Madara's attack against Minat and Kushina, but didn't believe it since Madara was supposed to be dead. Now he was feeling guilty for not listening and taking more precautions involving them. "Naruto. I'm sorry for what I'm going to be doing. I can only hope that you will forgive me as I hope that with this plan that this will give you a chance at a normal childhood and life." He says to himself mostly. Now we find him in the room with Kakshi and Obito who had just walked in when he gave them the ok to enter.

"Kakashi and Obito. Thank you for coming on such short notice. I have some grave news to tell you as you know with the Kyuubi attack we had several casualties with both Shinobi and civilians. Among them were Minato and Kushina. I'm sorry boys, I know you saw both of them as parents to you and Rin." Hiruzen tells them.

Both couldn't believe what they were hearing, their teacher and his wife who were like parents to them were gone and were not sure what to think until they saw a crib with an infant in it sleeping.

"Hokage-Sama. Is that they're son? He looks a lot like his father, but has Kushina's round face." Kakashi asks being the first to come out of his shock with Obito looking at the crib as well and can't help but tear up at his sensei's family being torn apart leaving their son alone now.

"Yes, it is Kakashi. As you said he looks a lot like Minato, but with Kushina's face. And before you ask, no I'm not asking either of you to adopt as I don't think you would be able to handle it right now with how you two must be feeling at the moment." Hiruzens said to them.

"I wouldn't be able to look after him with me being in the Anbu as well even if I wanted to. It wouldn't work out for me." Kakashi confirms what the Hokage said about him.

"Rin and I just moved in together and I don't know how'd she handle it knowing her sensei and his wife are gone now along with me bringing his son in just to tell her, "Hey they're parents might be gone, but we have his son we can look after. She would probably cry at first, but then be happy about taking care of him. After all, she was closer to Kushina than either of us were." it wouldn't work out for us at the moment as well.

"You're right. I didn't ask you both here for that reason as I have a plan involving you two that concerns Naruto here. I'd go with Jiraya to watch over him, but with him running his spy network it would be too dangerous for him and he's not exactly the best person to raise a son even if he is Minato's son. What I have in mind is sending him to a different dimension using your Mangekyou's Kamui ability."

Neither could believe what they were hearing as to send him away like that was cruel for him to go through such a thing. "Are you out of your mind?! How could you do such a thing to him?!" Kakashi shouts at his leader not believing what he just heard him say with Obito too shocked to give a response to him.

"Calm Kakashi. I will explain the reasons for doing this to him if you let me." Hiruzen answers back expecting them to react like this considering how close they were to Minato and Kushina.

"You're damn right you will explain this to us."Obito says back to his leader.

"One of the reasons I'm having you do this is because he's the new Nine-Tails Jinchuuriki and I know you both have seen the looks that Rin has been getting lately ever since she became the Three-Tails Jinchuuriki." He calmly explains to them.

They both know full well what he is referring too. If it hadn't been for Rin being older than Naruto and having people like Kushina, himself, Kakashi, and many other friends they 'd made. She wouldn't have been the same or be able to smile or be happy.

"Please both of you. I'm doing this for Naruot's sake, so he can have a chance at a life where he wouldn't have to worry about people fearing him or receiving hatred from the villagers now that he holds the demon. This is to give him a chance to have a normal childhood to make friends and have bonds with people in his life. Please, I'm begging you to do this for him." He asks them when he drops to his knees for them. Kakashi knew this wasn't the Hokage asking, but as Minato's friend wanting his child to have the best life possible.

"I'm sorry for my rant earlier Lord Third… It's just… This is just a lot to take in right now." Obito said while trying to think of what to do for Naruto since they're going to be doing this and what he will need. They both nod at the Hokage agreeing with his plan and now need to figure out what he will need for wherever they end up taking him too.

"How much time can you give us Lord Third?" Obito asks him.

"The most I can give you is an hour before I need to meet with the council including Danzo. You both know he isn't someone to trust. He will find out about the boy and will want to make a play to grab him for himself. I have sealing scrolls already for him with some of his father's jutsus such as the Rasengan and the Hiraishin along with how to create the Tri-Pronged kunais.. I will also live notes explaining how to unlock his chakra to him or whoever takes him in. He will also most likely activate the Sharingan since Minato had it, so he will need the stone tablet's notes to guide on how the Sharingan and the different levels it has and the abilities he will gain from it. I also gave him some chakra paper to check for his nature affinity as well as the Shadow Clone Jutsu since he won't be able to create a regular clone. I also am putting Minato's Sharingan eyes in a jar for him when he needs to transplant them with his dads so he won't go blind from overuse of his eyes." Hiruzen explains to them what to bring or what he already has for him.

"I can get a copy of the stone tablet for him and some Fire Style Jutsus along with what I already know and add it to the scrolls along with the different chakra control exercises such as the leaf balancing, kunai and shuriken balancing, tree-walking, and water walking." Obito says.

"I'll head over to Minato sensei's house and give him books on sealing from level 1 to level 10 being a seal master and all the notes on what he's created. Also will give him his mothers sword as a memento to her for him to have along with the different jutsus they have along with the different ones of other elements that I have copied as well." Kakashi says.

Now with their plan, they set off to get what they set out to do and it took half an hour to get everything that he needed while he took Kakashi a little longer as he had decided to take a little longer reminiscing on his two parent figures. He decided to bring a picture of his parents when she was pregnant with Naruto so he could see what they looked like. As he was about to leave, he saw his sensei's haori that had Fourth Hokage on the back, thinking he would want this so he sealed it as well. We see all three of them back in the Hokage Mansion make last minute checks making sure that they got everything that he would need.

"Lord Third, you do know this will be seen as making the village weaker with us losing a Jinchuuriki right?" Kakashi asks knowing what this would do to them power wise.

"Oh I know alright. Just leave the council and everything else to me." Hiruzen tells them that they nod at letting him handle the greedy council members and Danzo.

"We're ready now Lord Third." Obito stated.

"Naruto, I hope you can live a long and happy life and pray you are well looked after and become strong like your parents." Hiruzen says to the infant boy with that being the last thing said before Kakashi and Obito disappear through a swirl using their Kamui abilities with their Sharingan.

(Magnolia X765 and unknown time of day)

Obito and Kakashi arrive in a strange looking place seeing it being as massive as Konoha if not larger than the village. They were staying in the shadows to avoid being seen by anyone who would happen to be out. They had thought about leaving him at the church building that they had seen, but decided against it since the lights appeared to be off for the night. They came across a large building with a symbol on the front gate and saw the same emblem on the front of the building with lights on indicating that people were still there and decided to leave him there.

"Makarov Dreyer was a short old man with white hair on the sides of his head who was the Third Master of the building known as Fairy Tail. he was with his grandson Laxus who was 4 years old as they were getting ready to head home for the night until he had heard crying and looked around to see a basket with an baby in it wondering where he came from. He took him back to his grandfather on what to do with him.

"Jiji, look what I found. It's a baby, why would he be out here by himself? I wonder who left him here and where his mommy and daddy are though." Laxus says to his grandfather.

"I don't know my dear boy. We'll have to take him to the proper author…" He never got to finish what he was about to say when Laxus interrupted him.

We can't drop him off somewhere else. Someone must've dropped him off here knowing we were still here. We have to take care of him. Whoever left him here must trust us in taking care of him. Please jiji." Laxus begged him hoping he would listen to him in letting them raise him as his new brother.

"Sigh. Alright, you win my boy. Do we know what his name is though?" He asks.

"It says his name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. There's more notes in the basket as well along with these weird looking scrolls. I think someone brought him here for a reason. I think these will explain everything." Laxus says.

"You're right my boy. Let's head home for the night and then I can take little Naruto here to see Porlyusica and check him over among other things. I guess I got myself a new grandson, but will let him keep the name since it's his birth name." He says. 'Whoever sent him here, must've done so for his safety because you wouldn't leave him all of this for no reason. I think wherever he came from, something bad happened or was preventing something from happening. Whatever the reason may be, it's up to us to look after him now.' Makarov thinks to himself. And with that last thought they went home for the night.

Following Morning

Makarov had taken Naruto to see his old friend Porlyusica. He was up late that night going over the notes about the boy and was able to find out a few things about him such as where he came from. It's hard to imagine that someone from where he's from could cross dimensions and it seems that he was sent away in order to protect him from the people that would make his life harder than it should be for someone especially so young as they'd see him as something else rather than him. It disgusted him how he would've been treated by the majority of the people there. Another thing he was able to figure out was who his parents were and the reason that they did what they did to Naruto sealing the demon inside their own son. Given the situation, he could understand that he didn't want to do it based on the letters he found from his parents. They could never subject that to someone else, if they couldn't put themselves into a situation like that then how could they do it to another family. It showed how hard of a thing that must've been for his parents to give their son such a burden to live with his whole life. The last thing that he found out was that he will be using a source called Chakra instead of Magic which is similar to it, but different still.

"Good morning Porlyusica. Thank you for letting me come see you today. I was hoping you could take a look at this infant here and make sure he is healthy and that nothing is wrong with him. He was left at the guild last night by someone and I didn't have much of a choice but to take him in. I discovered many things about the boy last night when I went over some of the notes that I was able to see about him. One being that he isn't from this world at all and doesn't have an ounce of magic, but uses a different form of energy called chakra and that he will need to unlock it. I want to hear your thoughts about this." Makarov tells his friend.

"Well from what I could tell, he's fine and healthy too. The whisker marks on his cheeks are quite unique though that's for sure. You said it was due to this Nine-Tailed fox being sealed in his mother that he got those marks correct?" She asked him.

"Yes. It said in a letter explaining everything about him for whoever takes him in. In this case me and Laxus could use a brother even if they don't have the same last name. He wanted me to take him in and couldn't say no and I have to admit he's a cute kid." Makarov says.

"That's good, but curious about this fox, but the kid will have a lot to learn from what will be given to him by who sent him here and what his parents had left him as well. Despite my hatred for humans, I'd be willing to get to know him more as he intrigues me with everything that you have told me about him. What did you say his name was?" She asks.

"His name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. I'm going to assume that his middle name is his mothers last name and his last name is his father's last name. I'm curious as to what he will be able to do with Chakra. It also mentioned something called a bloodline that he would awaken it sometime. It's called the Sharingan according to what the letter said, when he awakens it, his eyes will change to black eyes with red tomoe looking marks in his eyes. The more he trains it'll evolve until he matures it to three tomoes. That's all I could learn about it. Anything that I would know about it, he'll learn the more specifics for it in detail." Makarov explains to her as she grows more intrigued with this.

"Well with all this said. I'd say when he is 7 years old. He should learn about who he is and where he came from. He can start learning everything that was given to him. The scrolls that I couldn't open were sorted out to when he should learn certain things so as to not overwhelm him at once and so he knows what to study and work on at the time. That's what I would suggest in his training if he wants to be a part of Fairy Tail which I believe he will be and be someone important to everyone." SHe tells him in surprise as she normally doesn't say things like that.

"That's strange. Normally you wouldn't make these kinds of observations and I had already planned on asking him to join the guild when he was older. Thank you for checking on him and letting me discuss all this with you. I appreciate it." Makarov says and leaves her house with a lot for him to think about in the coming years.
