The New Pokémon 4 Chapter 1 Prologue
(Disclaimer: I do not Own Pokémon or Toy Story 4. Pokémon Belongs to Nintendo/Gamefreak. And Toy Story 4 belongs to Pixar).

(Our Story begins on a Dark and stormy night outside the Ketchum household, a long Nine years ago, long before Ash graduated High School and left for Collage. Lightning then flashes as a torrential rainstorm is going on in Ash's Neighborhood. Inside Ash's room on his desk is Tyrogue and Mudsdale, they jump in fright due to the Lightning).
Tyrogue: Whoa! It is pouring out there! (She Pats Mudsdale comfortingly), I hope they make it back all right. (Meowth sees the hallway lights under the crack in the door and alerts everyone).
Meowth (Kanto): Heads up! Ash's coming! (Tyrogue gasps as she, Meowth and Mudsdale freeze, stopping their activities to see Ash enter the room. He was carrying Riolu, Cranidos, the Burmy, and Furret while Beheeyem, Volbeat and Illumise flew in with him. Ash puts Riolu, Cranidos, the Burmy trio and Furret down on the bed gently).
Cheryl: (from downstairs). Ash! Time for dinner.
Young Ash: Yes, I am starvin'! (He Quickly turns to his Pokémon and says goodbye to them saying). See ya later guys. (Ash Leaves to head downstairs for dinner).
Cheryl: (from downstairs). Do not forget to wash your hands!
Young Ash: Okay, Mom! (Riolu and the other Pokémon gasp in shock remembering something dire and look worried. Riolu runs to the window as Cranidos panics. Lightning flashes as Riolu climbs onto the windowsill beside Tyrogue and Mudsdale and looks outside. Beheeyem calls asking Riolu a question from Ash's bed).
Beheeyem: Do you see him?
Riolu: No. (Beheeyem and the others jump to the floor from Ash's Bed).
Furret: Well, he has done for.
Cranidos: He will be gone! Forever!
Riolu: Tyrogue. Beheeyem. Furret. May's room. The rest of you, stay put. (Riolu, Beheeyem, and Tyrogue run out of Ash's Room. Riolu peeks out of Ash's room and makes his way silently across the landing to May's Room, not wanting to alert his trainer and his Family. Riolu makes it across the hall silently and successfully. He peeks in and sees tiny spots of light on the floor, which go flying by a lamp with Delphox and her Wooloo flock nicknamed, Kathy, Annie, and Lansbury, on May's bedside table. Riolu is about to approach but he ducks out of sight as May exits her room. He then signals Tyrogue, Beheeyem, and Furret and they run into May's room. He then climbs up onto the table).
Riolu: Delphox!
Delphox: Situation? (She uses her stick/wand for her Psychic attack to pull Riolu up onto the table while Beheeyem levitates himself upward with his Telekinesis attack).
Riolu: Lost Pokémon. Side yard.
Delphox: Kathy, Annie, and Lansbury. Raise the blinds. (Kathy, Annie, and Lansbury obey and raise the blinds).
Riolu: Do they have names? You never told me that. (Riolu Climbs up onto the windowsill as Beheeyem and Delphox follow him).
Delphox: You never asked. (Tyrogue, Delphox, and Beheeyem join Riolu on the windowsill).
Tyrogue: Where is he? (They look outside. Lightning flashes, revealing Raichu (Alolan) the Pokémon Rider stuck in a storm drain in the side yard).
Riolu: There!
Beheeyem: How do we reach him? (Riolu and Delphox have an idea and turn to each other in determination).
Riolu and Delphox: Operation: Pull Pokémon!
Riolu: Furret!
Furret: You got it, Riolu!
Delphox: Steenees! (Three Bounsweet, and May's Pokémon, Steenee athletically jump up onto a chest of drawers. A Combusken catches a plastic carrot while multiple Bounsweet passes a book to Delphox. She puts it on top of the carrot which Tyrogue jumps onto). Go! (The three Bounsweet, and Steenee jump on the book, sending Tyrogue flying up to the window lock above. She unlocks the window and Beheeyem, Riolu, and Delphox lift the window open).
Delphox: Flashlight. (Tyrogue turns on a flashlight and shines it on Raichu (Alolan) who is starting to lose his grip on the storm drain. Riolu and Delphox stare down at him for a moment before Delphox strokes Riolu's fur and nods to him determinedly. Riolu then gets on Furret, and he stretches down to the driveway and towards Raichu (Alolan) to save him).
Riolu: Hang on, Raichu! (Raichu (Alolan) sees Riolu and Furret coming and struggles to pull himself forward, so they can reach him, but the strong muddy current keeps pushing him away towards the open street currents).
Furret: I ain't got any more stretch! (Furret grabs Riolu's tail in his mouth so that Riolu can reach Raichu (Alolan). However, this proves far less than helpful as they start pushing Raichu (Alolan) away from them. Upon seeing this, Delphox gasps. Riolu tries extremely hard to reach Raichu (Alolan) but to no avail. Just then, he feels something push him forward, enabling him to reach Raichu (Alolan) and grab him. Riolu looks up and sees Delphox has used the Exeggcute to lengthen their reach. Riolu smiles at Delphox and pulls Raichu (Alolan) free of the drain just as a vehicle pulls up in the drive. Riolu and Furret begin to carry Raichu (Alolan) to May's window in time as a man gets out of the cars and runs to the front door. Beheeyem, Tyrogue, and Delphox pull Raichu (Alolan) into May's Room and Delphox smiles at Riolu who smiles back. Just then the light turns on and Delphox retreats inside. Riolu is about to climb up when Cheryl closes the window and says to the man. Riolu pulls himself up to see Delphox's Pokéball getting packed into a box).
Car Owner: Oh, it is beautiful.
Cheryl: I am so glad to see this old lamp go to a loving home. We have had it since May was a baby. (Riolu watches sadly as the Man asks May).
Car Owner: May, are you sure It is all right?
Young May: Yeah, I Do Not want it anymore. And Delphox, despite how sweet she is, does not obey me in battle. Since I do not have enough Gym Badges.
Car Owner: Thank you. (Riolu watches them leave the room. Once they are gone, Beheeyem and Tyrogue turn back to the window and opens it, glad that May, her mom, nor the Man saw what Riolu, and the others were up to. And that Furret was still hanging there safely. They yank Furret inside but there is no sign of Riolu).
Beheeyem: Where's Riolu?
(The man takes Delphox's box to his car. He feels for his keys and realizes he left them in the house. He goes back to the door and knocks. The box scooches under the car and opens).
Car Owner: Yes, hi, I bet I left my keys there. (Delphox and her flock of Wooloo look up to see Riolu with a worried look on his face).
Delphox: Riolu. (Riolu is determined to save Delphox and her Wooloo before it is too late for them).
Riolu: Quick! We will sneak into the hedges before he is back. (Delphox smiles fondly at him but shakes her head to say "No").
Delphox: Riolu, it is okay. (Riolu panics at hearing that Delphox and her Wooloo are wanting to leave him and all their friends and feels heartbroken at this).
Riolu: What? No! No, no, no. You cannot go! What is best for Ash is that... (Delphox knows that Riolu is having difficulty believing this, but she knows it is her time. And that this is the right thing to do).
Delphox: Riolu, I am not Ash's Pokémon. (Riolu has trouble believing that Delphox just said that to him).
Riolu: Wh-What? (Delphox is not trying to hurt Riolu's Feelings but feels the need to tell him that it is time for the next part of her life as a trainers Pokémon. Knowing that May and Ash are old enough to not need her anymore. Even if means saying goodbye to Riolu and all her wonderful friends who have become like family to her).
Delphox: It is time for the next kid. (Riolu stares at her, not wanting to say goodbye to Delphox and her trio of Wooloo. But he knows that there comes a time in every kid's life where they will have to eventually say goodbye to their Pokémon. And now it was Delphox's turn to say goodbye. Riolu knew that it was inevitable, but he still did not want to believe it was truly happening, it felt too soon to be true. Then they hear the man talking to Ash's mom and look over in that direction).
Car Owner: Oh, Cheryl and thank you again for everything. I really appreciate it.
Cheryl: Oh, my pleasure, I am glad it all worked out. (Delphox looks at Riolu and tells him a sad yet unfortunate fact about Pokémon).
Delphox: Ya knows, kids lose their Pokémon every day. Sometimes they end up in the yard or their Pokéballs end up in the wrong box. (Riolu stares at her for a moment then looks at Kathy, Annie, and Lansbury who back up into the Darkest corner of the box before Riolu finishes the tale for Delphox).
Riolu: And that box goes away. (Delphox nods. Riolu stares at her and then smiles slightly. Still not wanting Delphox to be alone or to say goodbye to her, he tries to get in the box, but then hears Ash's voice calling his mom from back in the house).
Young Ash: Mom, where's Riolu? (Rushes outside looking worried sick for his Number One Pokémon Partner).
Cheryl: Ash! Come inside!
Young Ash: I cannot find Riolu! (Ash continues to run around looking for Riolu. Delphox looks at Riolu, who then takes his hands off the box slowly and looks down sadly before staring at Delphox one more time sadly. Delphox straightens Riolu's fur and smiles at him with a loving look. Moments Later, the man returns).
Man: Well, good night.
Cheryl: Goodbye. Drive safe. (The man picks up Delphox's box and gets in his car. The car drives with Riolu watching sadly, sitting on the Driveway sadly as it disappears into the distance. Riolu stares after it for a bit before Ash comes over finding Riolu, he picks Riolu up and hugs him relieved to find him at all).
Young Ash: Oh, there you are. (Runs back into the house). Mom, I found him! I found him!
Cheryl: Oh, good. Come on and get inside. (She shuts the door behind them. That Night, Riolu feeling great Sadness, would have trouble sleeping knowing that his best friend, Delphox and her Wooloo were gone, and he would likely never see them again).
